Linktober day 13- Link (part 1 here)

You saw it coming I KNOW it was obvious I KNOW it’s not new and fun anymore I KNOW, SUE ME

I drew the Zelda’s kinda without having heights in mind too much and now that I had to draw the links (for who I have pretty established height differences) it was made extremely clear to me how off it looks,, mask is so hunched over I’m crying,,,,,,,, actually looks so strange don’t study too closely, thanks!

Y’all can always send asks to request doodles nd stuff don’t be shy (if I don’t do them im SORRYYY I still appreciate them)

Alsoooo not being humble and modest at all and having to brag that in theory I’m the holder of the wr for the eow long flag race speedrun,,, bc the wr is 32.10 seconds and I beat it in 31.96 seconds but bc I can’t record my switch for longer than 30s it’s all for nothing (I type this as I lie on a pool of tears)

EOW past Zelda game references/Easter eggs so far in my 1st gameplay (joint with my brother)

- Sheika

-There's mentions of the Triforce

- Desert Palace ruins (from alttp) very very similar and also named like that in the game

- Swamp palace (light world) ruins including the set of pillars with the middle one surrounded by water just like in Alttp

-River Zora's

- A certain Zora adjacent character descended from the one in OOT

- Goron boss house has the Goron shaped big jar with the Goron symbol on it

-So far I've seen the Zora and Goron crests

-The Gerudo crest is the same as in OOT

- This Ganon's attacks are very similar to Link's Awakening Nightmare's Ganon

- Zols (from alttp, ooa, oos)

-Airins and other mushroom like flying monsters (alttp)

- SS like goddess statue in the dungeons of Hyrule Castle

-A horse that's basically Epona but no Lon Lon Ranch (probably was abandoned in that timeline so the family name ended up dying)

- Tails (alttp, ooa,oos, LA)

-The pink prison crystal from oot

- Kakariko village at the foot of Eldin Volcano (like in oot)

- The business scrubs have the MM design

- Volvagia is here need I say more

-The freaking temple/church from Alttp is there

- Mount Hebra is literally Death Mountain from Alttp the map is quite literally the same

- I'm pretty sure the mount lanayru weird temple has a version of the symbol from the Sage of Water medallion from OOT

-I'm not saying it's the same fairies but it's too much of a coincidence that a fairy who grants you the ability to expand your complements in exchange for rupees located in a small cave in an island in the middle of a River close to the Zora region seems to similar to the Alttp fairy that grants you more bombs and arrows in exchange for rupees in a very similar location. Just saying.

-Also there's invocantis instead of wizzrobes, which are the ones from Alttp.

-Also the game sequence is kind of reminiscent of a mix between OOT and ALTTP, in the sense you have to beat three areas first which involve the Zora and the woods, it's only the fact that you're going to the Gerudo instead of death mountain. Then there's the castle with the boss that kind of works as an Aghanim situation (no I do not know how to spell that name), and then there's some more quests, in this case only 3 unlike OOT and Alttp, but it is compensated by how much stuff you have to do before getting to the main part in each section.

-Also, the beings on Hebra mountain kind of remind me a bit of the snow region inhabitants in Phantom Hourglass and Spirit tracks but also a bit of Yeti and Yeta in Twilight princess.

Well easy answer is Zelda stuff bc I genuinely don’t draw ANYTHING else lol

The last days I’ve really been enjoying drawing bunny (my legend) and anything oot/mm related,, tho I’m not really focused on that bc I really do draw whatever ^^ been having a lot of fun with linktober and asks which tend to push me to draw stuff I usually wouldn’t have !!

And because I’m choosing to ignore that first part of the ask 🤨🤨🤨 here’s some doodles I did today so far :D

Hi hello! It's been a week since I opened up my request box and I think that it may be a good idea to do some little prompts to make things easier for those who want to submit but can't think of anything. It was helpful for people last time so consider this a part 2!

Je viens de voir passer un fanart de Byleth et Dedel à 1min27 dans cette vidéo de France Culture (https://www.facebook.com/watch?v=1377800556269036) sur un sujet qui n'a rien à voir en plus. C'est beau.

C'est magnifique, parfait avec le petit logo "France Culture" pour sponsoriser tout ça.

Je suis fière de participer au service public audiovisuel en payant mes impôts!

Pourquoi sur un sujet qui n'a rien à voir, elle était en train de parler de otome games qui tirent la sonnette d'alarme sur, en gros, les relations toxiques qui peuvent se cacher derrière le traditionnel "je trouve mon âme soeur, on se fait des bisous et tout est bien qui fini bien"! - et justement, Dedel et Billy c'est un peu le même bouzin : Billy suit Dedel parce que l'amour rend aveugle (ou complètement débile?) et ça se donne la main et ça fait un soutien de rang S avec une illustration franchement pas tip top...

Mais le couple toxique se révèle !

Dedel refuse d'accepter l'héritage métisse de Billy, (si bien que le jeu doit se plier en quatre pour faire en sorte que Billy perde son héritage maternel de Nabatéen) et l'a poussée à démolir ce qui lui reste de famille, pour que Billy redevienne la personne détachée qu'elle était auparavant, même si elle détestait son surnom et sa réputation de "démon cendré".

Billy qui a suivi son coeur et ses sentiments se retrouve dans une situation complètement pourrie qu'elle avait adoré quitter, et est condamné à n'être qu'un faire-valoir (les ailes de l'hégémonisme Adrestien uwu) pour servir les desseins de Dedel.

Si ça se trouve, c'est exactement ça que voulait dire la personne interviewée par France Culture, qui avait joué à Fleur Vermeille!
