Auto upholstery plays a vital role in the overall aesthetics and comfort of your vehicle's interior. Over time, wear and tear, stains, and other damages can detract from the beauty and functionality of your car's upholstery. Fortunately, residents of Oshawa have access to skilled professionals who specialize in auto upholstery repair. In this article, we will explore the importance of auto upholstery repair in Oshawa, the common types of damage addressed by experts, the repair process, and why it's worth investing in restoring your vehicle's interior.
The Importance of Auto Upholstery Repair
Car seat covers Oshawa Ontario serves more than just an aesthetic purpose; it plays a crucial role in your vehicle's overall comfort, safety, and resale value. Here are some reasons why auto upholstery repair in Oshawa is essential:
Aesthetic Appeal: The interior of your vehicle is the first thing you and your passengers see when you get inside. A well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing interior can enhance your driving experience and create a positive impression.
Comfort and Functionality: Damaged upholstery can be uncomfortable to sit on and may compromise your driving experience. Properly repaired upholstery ensures that your seats provide the necessary support and comfort.
Safety: Some upholstery damage, like ripped or worn seatbelts, can jeopardize your safety in the event of an accident. Auto upholstery repair ensures that all safety components are in top condition.
Resale Value: A well-maintained interior can significantly increase your vehicle's resale value. It demonstrates that you've taken good care of your car and helps attract potential buyers.
Common Types of Upholstery Damage
Auto upholstery repair in Oshawa addresses a wide range of common issues that can plague your vehicle's interior. These include:
Rips and Tears: Tears in the fabric or leather can be unsightly and uncomfortable. Repair experts can mend these imperfections seamlessly, making them nearly invisible.
Stains and Discoloration: Whether it's spilled coffee, food, or other stains, upholstery repair can often remove or minimize these blemishes, restoring the original color and appearance.
Wear and Fading: Over time, upholstery can wear out and fade due to sun exposure and general use. Repair professionals can revitalize your upholstery, making it look like new again.
Cracked or Damaged Leather: Leather seats are particularly susceptible to cracking and damage. Skilled technicians can repair and restore leather upholstery, preserving its luxurious feel and appearance.
Sagging Headliners: Sagging or detached headliners can be a safety hazard and detract from the overall interior aesthetics. Auto upholstery repair specialists can reattach or replace headliners.
The Auto Upholstery Repair Process
Auto upholstery repair in Oshawa involves a meticulous process to ensure the best results. Here is an overview of the most common methods:
Assessment: Technicians first assess the extent of the damage to determine the best course of action.
Cleaning: Upholstery is thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, stains, and odors, providing a clean surface for repair.
Repair or Replacement: Depending on the damage, technicians will either repair or replace damaged upholstery components.
Matching Materials: If replacement is necessary, professionals will match materials as closely as possible to ensure a seamless appearance.
Installation: Repaired or replaced upholstery is installed using precision techniques to ensure a perfect fit.
Final Inspection: Technicians perform a final inspection to ensure the repaired or replaced upholstery meets quality standards and looks impeccable.
Why Invest in Auto Upholstery Repair
Investing in auto upholstery repair in Oshawa is a smart decision for several reasons:
Cost-Effective: Repairing upholstery is often more affordable than completely replacing it, saving you money.
Extended Lifespan: Repairing damaged upholstery can extend its lifespan, postponing the need for a costly replacement.
Enhanced Comfort: Restored upholstery enhances your driving comfort and enjoyment.
Improved Resale Value: A well-maintained interior can significantly boost your vehicle's resale value.
Auto Upholstery Repair: Things to consider
Selecting the right auto upholstery repair service in Oshawa is essential to ensure your vehicle's interior is restored to its best condition. Here are several key factors to consider when choosing an auto upholstery repair provider:
Experience and Expertise: Look for repair shops with experienced technicians who specialize in auto upholstery. Experienced professionals are more likely to deliver high-quality results.
Reputation and Reviews: Check online reviews and ask for recommendations from friends or family to gauge the reputation of the repair service. Positive feedback and a good reputation are indicators of quality workmanship.
Portfolio of Work: Ask to see a portfolio of their previous upholstery repair projects. This will give you a visual representation of their skills and the quality of their work.
Materials and Fabric Selection: Ensure the repair shop offers a variety of materials and fabrics to choose from, especially if you need a full upholstery replacement. This allows you to select materials that match your preferences and the overall aesthetics of your vehicle.
Cost Estimates: Obtain detailed cost estimates for the repair work. Compare quotes from multiple shops to ensure you are getting a fair and competitive price.
Warranty or Guarantee: Inquire about warranties or guarantees on the repair work. Reputable shops often provide warranties as a sign of confidence in their services. Make sure you understand the terms and conditions of the warranty.
Turnaround Time: Ask about the estimated turnaround time for your repair job. While quality is crucial, timely service is also important, especially if you rely on your vehicle daily.
Techniques and Equipment: Inquire about the techniques and equipment the shop uses. Modern equipment and up-to-date repair methods often result in better outcomes.
Customer Service: Pay attention to the level of customer service provided by the repair shop. Friendly and attentive staff can make the entire repair process smoother and more enjoyable.
References: Don't hesitate to ask for references from past customers who had similar repair work done. Contacting these references can provide valuable insights into the repair shop's performance and customer satisfaction.
Communication: Clear and open communication is key. Ensure that the repair shop is responsive to your questions and concerns, and that they provide updates on the progress of the repair work.
Environmental Considerations: If you are environmentally conscious, inquire about the shop's practices regarding waste disposal and the use of eco-friendly materials.
Insurance Coverage: Check if the repair shop accepts insurance claims if your upholstery repair is related to an accident or covered by your insurance policy.
Location and Convenience: Consider the location of the repair shop and its proximity to your home or workplace. Convenience can be an important factor, especially during drop-off and pick-up.
Personal Preferences: Trust your instincts and personal preferences. If you have a particular style or vision for your vehicle's interior, choose a repair shop that can accommodate your preferences.
By carefully considering these factors and doing your research, you can select an auto upholstery repair service in Oshawa that meets your needs and ensures your vehicle's interior looks and feels its best.

Rajin is the main setting of my story. She is a massive air/spaceship traveling between worlds while self sustaining internal functionalities for life and comfort. Capable of carrying hundreds, but a crew of only 5 individuals made her into their permanent home for several years while they take to exploring the deeper and darker reaches of the Universe.
General overview…….externally, Rajin is inspired by the sun and betta fish with its tall upper and lower fin like structures and wings. A series of see through pods line the bottom section. Every part of Rajin….engines, sky rings, even the walls and floors are alive in a sense as they shift very slightly with the pulses of elemental magic running all throughout the ship.
Speaking of elemental magic, Rajin is powered by the 8 main crystals containing, ice, air, lightning, earth, water, fire, dark, and light energies. The balance…push and pull between the larger dark and light crystals power general to warp speed travel. Most other space ships currently depend on advanced tech, special fuel, and orbital rings for space exploration and this is only within a series of metropolitan like planets/systems including Youndre. Every other world is considered independent/isolated even depending just on magic vs. science. The other crystals aid in basic/beneficial functions like heating, cooling, lighting, providing clean water, and nutritional vegetation.
Internally, Rajin was restored and rebuilt to provide personalized living for Eldoron, Jessie, Orion, Ian, and Trish while in mid hyperspeed for weeks on end. Outside of each of them having large house like rooms, they also have access to shared recreational, nature filled spaces, look outs,….etc.and being able to prepare ahead with training rooms and a smithy/leather crafter workshop for armor and weapons.
Everyone plays different roles to upkeep Rajin while also supporting each other…..i.e. Eldoron sets its courses and manually flies/lands the ship, Ian improves and repairs (by encouraging Rajin’s self-healing properties), Jessie runs the sick bay and aids in harvesting and cooking, Trish helps with plant and animal care (including the care of the creatures she temporarily holds for rescue), and Orion helps charge and balance the magic between all the crystals to keep everything stable.

tua rewatch 3
why are we five years ago? oh wait it's vanya's book time. [montage of all the siblings reading the book] is klaus reading it iN GROUP THERAPY? dhjsjs ben getting offended.
[vanya being late for orchestra] mood. helen's pretty. her name's helen right? i think she's a big deal later.
[tape of grace murdering hargreeves] me too grace me too. [luther and allison being alarmed and distressed] tfw ur robot ma turns out to be a murderer
okay but grace and patch are Carrying This Show
[grace listing off stats about the day hargreeves died] me too grace me too.
[allison and luther Looking at each other] "i'm not asking a robot if it has feelings, luther" [”were you ever angry at dad?”] that passive aggressive household activity. me when my friends ask if i'm resentful about having raised my little brother.
[patch at the clothes shop crime scene] go eudora. [diego makes a comment about her liking leather] diego be less creepy challenge.
[vanya and helen bathroom scene] oh so helen's a bitch okay. [”find something you’re actually passionate about”] oh wait she might be another psychoanalysis queen.
[cha cha with the straighteners] did. are you. oh right cauterising. ok. hazel and cha cha have a nice dynamic.
[five climbing out of the fire escape] five is just. half his lines are So Painfully thirteen-year-old. [klaus ‘finds’ the bagel] that bagel is very clean. [five steals a van] stakeout time. also did that guy leave his keys in the ignition? that was a suspiciously quick hotwire if not.
[allison tells luther about what happened with claire] oh i'm feeling for allison again. tbf i asked my mum and she said "yep u sucked i would've done that". [”i don’t know if any of my life is really mine”] it's that imposter syndrome. ugh i love her so much. but shoutout luther for trying to be helpful.
[leonard does aNtIqUE rEStOrATioN] ugh that's a red flag. [”well, [making statues] is kind of embarrassing”] all his self-deprecation is so obviously fake. wait maybe i'm just cynical. or gay. [violinist statuette] that's creepy that's creepy that's creepy [”here, have it”] don't take it. don't.
i'm gonna hurl. where's that gif of the gay best friend. "love him? you met him THURSDAY"
[this one. from here.]
[allison turns up] shoutout allison for apologising and also for trying to be a better sister. [also shoutout allison for keeping vanya from making terrible life decisions for an extra episode] literally allison + vanya being sisters is my jam. more of that please.
[five watches a bunch of kids playing football and i think about the fact that he lost his entire childhood to an abusive douchebag and the apocalypse] oh o w my heart. [he has a flashback] oh Ow. [luther struggles to get in the car] jdjsjds [klaus dancing with delores] klaus that is your SISTER IN LAW have some respect. [wE fOuNd cLUes aBoUT dAd] no one cares luther. [they kick klaus out of the van] this whole scene is wonderful. peak comedy. [”you think you’re better than us”] luther coming in with the psychoanalysis except it's off because men are shit at psychology. [klaus shoplifts] me too five. me too.
honestly most of the comedy with klaus comes from his actions rather than his actual lines. they're a bit "uwu random XD" 2013 tumblr for me. but other characters watching him do crazy bullshit without really reacting? golden.
[hazel and cha cha go to griddy’s] time for the only straight couple that gets rights.
e l a b o r a t e
honestly if a girl was explaining how she makes donuts to me i'd fall in love too. i'm claiming hazel for the lesbians folks.
cha cha here to cockblock. [”that most certainly was not his father.”] cha cha out here coming up with The best cover stories. she really is an icon.
[agnes draws two (2) half circles instead of a full circle] that's cursed.
[family meeting about the grace tape] time for another fight over literally nothing. [”she just stood there, diego, and watched out father die”] i would too tbh. [”she shouldn’t get a vote” / “i was going to say i agree with you!” / “she gets a vote!”] me too diego. me too.
grace is Carrying This Show
[”sometimes i look at her and all i see is dad”] well that's some trauma. [they chat a bit more] i think once they move past the book problem, diego and vanya would be Iconic snarky bros.
ok that was a cool way to transition into a flashback. vanya's room is so small wtf. [klaus laughing at an on fire desk] does klaus have fire powers as well? or is he just That Way. grace is literally the best i love her.
[diego asks grace about if she ever wanted hurt hargreeves] okay i feel for diego a little bit now. also we stan murdering your abuser. diego. just. [idk what this was about but it’s par for the course]
grace is Carrying This Show
[hazel and cha cha get to the mansion] he's not there guys. oooh dramatic portrait [”that’s our kid”] hazel and cha cha adopt five from the apocalypse au [ghosts in the bath scene] klaus doesn't have powers he just has an auditory processing disorder. this is literally what everything sounds like all the time.
soundtrack time. this is gna b sick.
[luther and allison in the window] aw luther misses the moon. i love this little monologue thingy. why does everyone hate luther again? [they hear gunshots] hazel and cha cha rights for keeping that scene platonic. again with the freezeframes [cut to grace humming to herself] grace gets rights
[diego and luther arguing] can you lot be functional for long enough to make sure the bad guys are actually dealt with [vanya gets clattered] oh no.
SOUNDTRACK TIME.
[klaus wandering between rooms with headphones on] klaus is a Fat auditory processing disorder mood during this whole sequence. [”this bitch just made me angry”] allison is an icon and i'd die for her. [diego and cha cha face off with a pool cue and a table football bar] ooh how dramatic swishy swishy with your not-swords.
[luther smacks hazel to the ground] get him luther. [hazel flips him ass-over-tea-kettle] well damn ok hazel. go the fuck off.
[cha cha drops the chandelier] i feel like he had enough time to also get out of the way.
bro u could literally just shave if it bothered u that much.
[”oh, shit, mom”] oh yeah diego's about to kill their mother. [he cuts her arm open] oh ew. that's creepy as shit. grace is still carrying this entire show though.[”just picture the word in your mind”] i don't like this. at all.
[”hey, are you okay”] allison and vanya sisterly bonding moment. [”what is she even doing here”] oh my god diego can you not be a fucking dickhead for ten fucking seconds.
[shot of luther in the mirror] ok maybe he couldn't just shave.
[vanya shows up at leonard’s because she “dIDn’T knOw wHeRe elSe To gO”] VANYA WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU LIKE THIS YOU HAVE A WHOLE ENTIRE FLAT WHAT THE F U C K.

Book 1 Hope return Chapter 40 A new chapter By Goldstone Golem 64
Jay and Allura starred at each other as the sound of crying could still be heard behind jay.
“ Why are you like this jay ?” Allura asked
“ To be honest I feel like the universe is trying to tell me to stop being a pilot an just be a full time dad “ jay said as he turned back to the gain in the pot and scooped up the two. As he did this the quitter one of the two tried to slap his hands away and hissed at him “ oh looks like l have a fighter on my hands” Jay smiled a little as he picked them both up. “ May I clean this two up before you start yelling at me “
“ Alright make it quick “ Allura said as jay walked passed her. Allura sat down on a chair that was nearby and looked around the room. It was really clean despite all the potted planet that were hanging off the ceiling. She noticed most of them were from the Nalquod or from Daibazaal. Which was nice to see and it was also a reminded that there a place for her after the empire was taken down and peace was restored. She continued look around the room and saw pictures of a younger jay along with other kids. She guessed they were his siblings or friend seeing as some of the kid in the pictures were Galra ,Balmeran, or another race . She then turned to look at the deck in the corner of the room unlike the rest of the room it was a mess there were books ,paper, piece of metal and empty cups and cans strewn across the deck top. she got up from her chair and walked towards the desk and looked at the books most of them were in galrain and Altean. But some were in the human language known as germen . Which was the most spoken language on mars seeing as the first colonels there were germen. As she looked at the deck some more she saw a picture of Jays family. She could see which one was jay by his sharp tooth smile and red mark that stood out from the rest of his family.
There were three other boys there the oldest was wearing a dress shirt had long red straight hair, tan skin, Green eyes but had no visible marks on his face that would had with some hybrid alteans. He most of been Alphonso. the Other boy was wearing a leather jacket his hair was buzzed off completely, His skin was tan, His eyes were Hazel his marks were blue .the boy had a few burses on his face she guessed it was from a fight he got into earlier that day that was Donnie. Then the last boy most of been Herman. He was small had tan skin ,rust red hair a round face with kind hazel eyes and a warm smile. Then there was Herman’s twin sister Wendy she had bright orange cruelly hair Tan skin her eye were closed so she couldn’t tell what her eye color was. Then there was their Father he was a short altean man who looked like he was in his last few years of his first century. He had bright red hair, light Tan skin and emerald green eyes and most of the kids besides Jay and Donnie looked like him. Then there was the woman in the picture. She was Tall well build some what of a stoned faced that had beautiful light Hazel eyes. They all looked happy in the photo.
It made Allure a little sad as she though about her own family. She sat down in the chair by the desk and just waited for Jay to return.
After twenty minutes Jay walked in socking wet with two cleaned dressed dried and giggling infant gains” Ha ha laugh it up you little stinkers.” Jay sounded annoyed but was smiling.” Now Boss what were you going to yell at me about ?” Jay asked
Allura laughed “ it looked like you’ve been through enough so i’ m not going to yell.” She then got up and walked toward him” So boy or girl?” She asked
“ Surprisingly both girls” Jay replied
“ any names in mind?”
“ Well originally I expecting only one and that one to be a boy so the name was going to be clay. which is now going to the little fighter her “ Jay raised his right arm with clay in it.” I don’t know what to name this one” Jay raised his left arm” But I'm thinking Molly.” Jay said as he walked to his bed lied down and well his two new born daughters crawl around the bed and him
Allura sat back down in the desk chair “ So why did you have the gain seeds in the first place ?” Allura asked
“ Well this is going to sound selfish be I bought the seed for the purpose of tax deductions. I'm a collage student with a huge debt coming my way so I thought a ten thousand credit tax refund along with the normal one I get would have helped greatly to remove that debt ” Jay watch as Molly crawled to his metal hand and pocked at it for a few” But there was an add bonus to it . I got an heir to pass all my smarts an wisdom to and for them to show me apart of life I never truly understood when I was young. But mainly for the tax deductions” Jay said as Clay crawled up to his face an started smacking him playfully?
“Ok I don’t like fact you had a child for tax reasons but seeing as your no longer paying taxes and have been taking care of three sons pretty well so I think you can handle it. But until those two have fully grown and your fully recovered your being benched . So no missions, no train and none of what you normally do that gets you hurt ok “ Allura said
“ Ok Boss ” Jay said has he lied there as Molly followed her sister and started to smack jay in the face as well
“ Also In a few hour there will be a meeting with the rebel leaders about what were going to do in the future after the empire is gone “ Allura said as she left the room
“Alright boss” Jay said as he was bombarded by four tiny hands slapping against his face .” Ok you two need to stop slapping dad in the fa” he was cut off when clay punched him in the eye and that was followed by molly slapping his nose followed by them laughing in delight by the face jay made as he was punch “oh”
A few hours late Jay walked into the bridge of the castle of lions with a black eye and a broken nose.
“ What happened to you?” Shiro asked
“ Altean genes at their worst “ Jay said slightly annoyed as he looked at Allura who was trying not to smile “ So what have I missed ?”
“Nothing much were wait for the rebel leader to show up. But do you care to explain what happened ?” Pidge asked from her seat still wear the prostatic Rolo gave her
“ Well number 4 and 5 have seemingly taken more of my altean half them my human half seeing as their marks are the same as mine.” Jay said as he rubbed his chin.
Everyone was silent as they processed what Jay just said. Then the door to the bridge opened and two blue skinned men walked in “ Hello I'm General Asmo and this is my younger brother Lieutenant Ozer head of humanitarian division. Welcome to the third Moon of Kraydah “
“ Hello Princess Allura of Altea and this are the Paladin of Voltron “ Allura said
“ I’m Jay by the way I'm the pilot of the Valkyrie. “ Jay said putting out his right hand for a hand shake
“ It nice to meet you all “ Asmo said as he Shook jays hand “ Lets get down to business “ Asmo walked up to the holo table in the middle of the room and showed off three different locations. One was a shipyard. the other was a weird looked station in the middle of space and the third was a familiar looking refinery” OK this three location are our most important targets. the first one is a mobile repair station for the empires warship the second is a maximum security prison called deltarun it is currently holding a severely of a high ranking officers And the third is a refueling and refinery. If we could hit anyone of this three place in the next two month we could land a serious blow to the empire.”
“ Well those seem easy enough if I do say so myself “ Lance said
“ i dose but that only means it’s going to be an actually challagen the moment we get there” Shiro said
“ Maybe a robeast or two will show up” Hunk said
“ or there could be an Armada of warships.”Pidge said
“Or zarkon’s fortress shows up again” Keith said
“ Nothing we haven’t faced before “ Adam said
“ look i get all of your fears but i have five kids to take care of so i’m ready to face whatever comes are way. So i’m in” Jay said as he rubbed his nose
“ Ok were all in right “ Allura said looking towards her teammates. They all nodded in agreement “ Good so where do we began ?”
Elsewhere in a hide lad Lady haggar stood in front of three huge Glass tube housing bodies inside of them. As she looked at it the door behind her opened and zarkon walked in.
“ my dear beloved How is your latest experiment going?” Zarkon asked
“ It is going better than expected dna of both the black and silver paladins have mixed well.We will have are first one ready in few seconds “ Haggar said with a smile as she looked up at the three tubes. the one on the right house a detached human hand that once belonged to Shiro. on the left was a red tailpiece that was cut off of a raging jay and in the middle was a being that was a mixture of the both men. As they both looked at the being opened it’s eye to reveal two bright red glowing eyes then Haggar spoke “welcome to the world Kuron we have much to do “

The Flame That Guides Us Home Pt 5
“J’a-l? R-pond! J-zel com- in!” What was left of her radio flickered and squeaked amongst the warped steel and melted rock. Slowly J’azel opened her eyes to see the fire-swept plains of Argus, cradling the remains of the Krakenax amongst the dirt and ashes. It still felt like her warframe was spiraling toward the ground, but she knew better; now that her consciousness was returning, she had to move fast if she wanted to reach her sister before the Horde did. “-azel?! Ans- -e!”
She reached up to dust off the damaged receiver, “J’azel… aauuugh… reporting in…”
“Than- the -ight!” Vice Admiral Taarth’s voice was clearer now, but it would be some time before she could fix her receiver. “I’m sen-ing a -escue squad! H-ld tight!”
J’azel tried to open her cockpit, but it was melted shut; she then pressed her plated hooves against the warped metal and began kicking with all of her strength. “Negative…! I have to face Miraan!” One, two, three, four kicks later, and the hatch burst open and allowed her to crawl out of her destroyed mech. She looked up to see debris still raining down from the explosion she caused. The tiny green embers and scorched ashes raining down around her brought distant memories of the first day of winter back when she was still a child. The Lightforged Eredar reached into the side hatch of her mech and retrieved her cherished greatsword, some climbing gear, and the hand-drawn picture of her family; with her warframe in pieces, she would have to walk the rest of the way. “Sending my coordinates. You can pick up my mech for repairs, but some of my team may have survived. They take priority.” It sent chills up her spine to lie so easily; she saw what happened firsthand, she knew damn well none of them survived. Not against that kind of firepower… or at that height.
Lord-Commander Sunsheath led the charge down the main hallway of the Krakenax, with his brothers and sisters in arms following closely behind. He could hear frenzied shouting and screaming in the lower levels beneath him, but he couldn't afford an investigation; there wasn't enough time to stage a rescue for those unfortunate enough to be captives of the Burning Legion, nor could he cut a swathe through their demonic ranks to quench his righteous bloodlust.
If the billions of people slaughtered across countless burned worlds could ever find any rest, if the Burning Legion could be put down for good, then Miraan the Benevolent needed to die.
Screams and shouting pierced the thick felsteel door before them; demonic voices filled with maddening rage and hatred. “There isn't anyone ahead of us… who could they be fighting?” Gonthar raised his meaty fist and halted their advance. “Konthus, help me with this door.” Without a word the Warbrave obeyed, shuffling through the ranks to offer his fellow tauren assistance.
The main deck of the Krakenax was in absolute chaos. Gonthar half-expected the Illidari giving these demons more than they could handle, but that couldn't be further from the truth; felguards were slaughtering mo'arg, who were pounding shivarra into paste, who in turn were flaying felguards. The Burning Legion had turned against each other, their formations shattered and reduced to a tribalistic need to survive. A fel lord stood in the center, trying his best to restore order the only way he knew how; with additional violence.
The Oathguard looked on in awe and silence until the Sin'dorei paladin Varkol Suncloak said, “This is the single greatest thing I've ever seen.”
“Well?! What are we waiting for?!” Kaarst Shattercraft barked, pacing back and forth with eager anticipation. “Let's get in there! Lok'tar o-!”
“We are not here for them!” Gonthar grabbed the orc by the shoulder and pulled him back. Before anyone else got the bright idea of giving away their position, he turned to address Eristel. “We need a portal to take us past this carnage and as close to the command room as possible. Can you do it?”
“Of course, but…” Eristel stroked his chin before looking up at the second floor. “Portal magic is slow and loud. I can’t guarantee I can get it active before our position is compromised.”
Gonthar clenched his teeth before glancing over to Kaarst. “Shattercraft, Grimwald, Rahoa, and Breezehome. Draw attention away from our position, but don’t get reckless; we won’t be able to stage a rescue if you’re overwhelmed.” The four chosen snuck away without a single word, and Gonthar was already regretting this decision. He may have just sent four good soldiers to their deaths.
Eristel was right about the noise. A white ball of curious light sparked between his palms, letting out a whistling hiss not quite unlike a teapot. It grew louder as the ball did larger, until it was too big and too obnoxiously loud for the Pyromancer to hold between his fingers. Gonthar turned to see the chaos ahead, with some of them already felled by arrows. Kaarst leapt through the air into the crowd of demons, with Rahoa and Audrey at his heels. Up on the scaffolding he saw the other end of the portal appear, white hot and swelling. “There!” Eristel said at last. “It’s ready!”
“Everyone through the portal! Now!” Gonthar ushered the Oathguard in and waited until every single soldier under his command went through before he rejoined them; the Sunwalker did another quick check on the four engaging the Burning Legion, but from this height they were now nowhere to be found.
“Contact! Twelve o'clock!” Someone shouted.
Gonthar snapped his attention forward to see an imp swarm pour out of a nearby ventilation shaft. “Shields forward!” Several warriors and paladins rushed ahead and raised their bulwarks, just as the imps began their barrage. The door on their right swung open, revealing a sizable force of felguards.
“Right flank! Right flank!” Shouted another, giving the healers and magi just enough time to turn and defend themselves from the surprise attack. Gonthar threw himself at them, knocking a demon down while catching another beneath a hoof. Stinging agony wracked his body from a fallen demon burying a knife in his leg, but the Sunwalker raised his foot in retaliation and crushed the demon's head like a melon. He swung his sword in a wide arch immediately after, catching another felguard in the chin. Arrows and spells whizzed over his head from behind, felling a half dozen more of them.
“Aaahhh! No! Nooooo!” A priestess was pulled to the ground by two felhounds, screaming, kicking, and begging. Eristel turned and engulfed them in flames a split second later, but it was a split second too late; their razor sharp fangs had easily torn her apart. A small group of felguards ducked past Gonthar and focused on anyone wearing cloth or leather. The warriors and paladins protecting their allies from the unrelenting bombardment of imp fireballs began to falter, many of whom turned to face the felguard threat, only to take felfire to their backs. In an instant the Oathguard’s formations were undone.
Gonthar’s commands were drowned out by the chaos unfolding around him. All he could see was the flash of steel against steel, all he could hear were the frenzied screams of friend and foe alike; his body screamed for rest and he tasted blood and bile in his mouth, but he couldn’t give up. They were so close to defeating the Legion once and for all. So close… yet with this ambush, this just might be as far as they go. Gonthar didn’t see Sahe amidst the slaughter, but she was all he could think about now. Even as he struck down demon after demon, even as his blood boiled with his Grimtotem fury, and even as he shrugged off injuries that would have proved fatal for lesser tauren, he was focused on finding the Druidess and getting her to safety.
Gonthar’s ears twitched at the familiar bellow of Kaarst Shattercraft over the deafening chorus of battle. He glanced up just in time to see Kaarst, Rahoa, and Audrey Breezehome leap into the fray with Grimwald loosening a hail of arrows behind them. Seeing the crazed orc spin his axe around in a group of felguards with such reckless abandon emboldened those still standing with a surge of hope and renewed resolve. Gonthar turned around and swung his claymore so hard he cleaved a demon clean in half through the chest, spraying blood and entrails down the hallway. His hoof came down and turned another demon’s knee into splinters. The next swing of his sword caught yet another felguard by its dominant arm, leaving it easy pickings for the others. Gonthar didn’t know how long this struggle lasted, but by the time his blood trance was done, hardly anyone, demon or otherwise, was left standing. His body crumbled the moment the threat was over, with only the sound of his labored breathing and the groans of the dying remaining.
“Oathguard…!” He managed to shout out, but his weak voice didn't carry far. “Sound off…!” Only whimpers of agony answered him. Gonthar rubbed the sticky slime off his face, only to realize it came from his own open wounds above his head, from a gash that split his mane in half. “Oathguard! ...sound! Off!” Gonthar repeated, as loud as his burning lungs would allow.
One by one they called out their names: Varkol, Grimwald, Nairi, Rahoa, Audrey, Sahe, Clonce, Kaarst, Eristel. Their forces were five and fifty when they stepped aboard this accursed ship… now barely ten of them were left. Gonthar looked around to see so many of his brothers and sisters in arms either dead or well on their way, and with his meager band of exhausted companions left, only one choice was left before him.
“We’re retreating.” He commanded, as their only two remaining healers began trying to stabilize as many as they could. “This mission is a failure.”
Varkol exchanged glances with the few survivors before speaking. “Commander, with all due respect… we’ve come this far. We should see it through!”
“He’s right!” Nairi added. “If we turn tail and run now, all of those people died for noth-”
“This ambush severed the Oathguard at the knees! If we attack her with just us ten we WILL die!” Gonthar then pointed down toward those unable to stand. “We can’t abandon them either! I’m calling it! We are-!” A heavy slam against a nearby door nearly caused Gonthar to jump out of his bloodsoaked skin. The survivors whirled to face the newfound threat with fear and anger written on their faces. After three more slams the felsteel door collapsed in a cloud of golden cinders and smoke. Out came that draenei from the Army of the Light. “What…?”
“Ma’xerei kerekt?!” J’azel called out, stopping just a few steps forward once she saw their dying allies. Immediately the golden runes scrawled across her body lit up like the morning sun, forcing Gonthar and the others to shield their eyes. When the light faded, most of those on the floor were wreathed in the Light, and no longer moaning in agony. Even Gonthar’s wounds seemed to vanish.
“Th-thank you, Draenei…!” He didn’t know if she could understand him, and he didn’t care; the power of a healthy Lightforged Draenei was just the thing he needed to bring most of these people back to their homes and families, and that was not a gesture he would soon forget.
“Eredar.” She sharply corrected, drawing her sword from its sheath. She then pointed down the hallway to what had to be the command deck. “Miraan. Tu shelri’vaakt?”
“We can’t let her face her sister alone, Commander.” Eristel warned. “But it’s your call.” Gonthar looked down at Sahe, who cautiously nodded after a moment of silence.
“So be it.” He clenched his teeth before turning back to his team. “Varkol, Audrey, and Eristel. Go with the drae- the eredar. Nairi, Rahoa, Grimwald, Shattercraft, cover us while Clonce creates a portal back to Felfathom.” Nairi opened her mouth to object, but the Lord-Commander had already turned his back to help Sahe gather the living and the dead, and her team was already taking positions on the other side of the hallway to protect them.
The three elves and the eredar hurried down the narrowing corridor in silence until they came across two giant slabs of felsteel pressed against each other. “What now?!” Audrey whined. “It’ll take a small army and the largest siege engines the Horde has to open this!”
“Grelsor akampst.” J’azel spoke, pointing at Eristel and then at Varkol. “Grelsor akampst! Vi… vikaresk!” Eristel and Varkol exchanged weary looks before the eredar loudly groaned and grabbed them both by the wrists to pull closer to the door. “Vikaresk! Vikaresk vallesh!”
“I think she wants us to use fire, Vark.” Eristel suggested. When he summoned a ball of flame in his open palm, her eyes lit up. Varkol raised his free hand and did the same.
“Vallesh!” She repeated, slowly raising her hands up in a strange gesture. “Vallesh oziak thuum!”
When the flames grew almost too large for the pyromancer and the crusader to sustain, black runes scrawled across the door began to glow and hiss in response. Eristel scooped up the meager flame in Varkol’s hands and added it to his own, and with a hearty thrust of his arms, sent the pryoblast toward the largest rune on the door. In an instant the entire area lit up from the overloaded runes. They covered their faces and braced themselves for the explosion, but it never came. The doors swung open with a heavy groan.
“Eru’dei aca!” J’azel cheered, before raising her sword high over her head. “Chronokai kristor!”

The Murderess from the Grunewald (14): Getting Closer (1)
(”Katze” by rihaij)
Previously
Six months ago - Some hours after Jamie’s Second Attorney’s Visit to Prison
4 pm. Jamie drove his car into the parking lot in front of Claire's house. Finally alone. Finally, time to think about everything without being interrupted. A few minutes later, he carefully opened the door to Claire's house and when Adso didn’t show up he entered. First, he went into the kitchen, pulled up the window blind and looked at the two bowls on the ground. Both were empty. He rinsed out the drinking bowl and filled it with fresh water. Then he opened the cabinet containing the cans with the cat food. For fun and to see if the animal would really eat it, he chose a can of ‘Veggie Royal’. He reached for the can opener and started to work. Only seconds later he heard the kitchen door, which he had only ajar, open with a strong push. Immediately after that, the claws of four paws stitched themselves into his pants. In surprise and because of the sudden pain, Jamie dropped the can opener. "Ah! Let go of my pants you wee beast!"
He reached for Adso, who was sticking his whole body to Jamie's right leg and slowly started to work upwards. With some difficulty, Jamie was able to release his leg from the cat. He put it down on the ground and held it by the neck for a moment. Then he looked at his pants. Adso's claws had pulled some threads that were now sticking out of the fabric. "Look at what you have done, you greedy something! That was a whole new pair of pants. I will bill your mom for it. Then you will get vegetables for the next six months and you can forget about 'Sea Fish Royal'." The cat looked grumpy and made growling noises. Jamie released Adso and sighed. "Yes, you are right. I already sound like a judge. But I am the lawyer of your mom Claire and not yours ... " Adso let out a bloodcurdling 'meow'. "Yes, I understand.”
Jamie sighed. “I miss her, too, although I saw her two hours ago. Come on, let's eat." After emptying the contents of the can into Adso's bowl, Jamie searched the kitchen cabinets for a plate. He grabbed the sandwiches he had bought on the way. Then he reached for the bottle of Pepsi Light he had taken with him from the trunk of his car. He sat down at the kitchen table and started to eat his first sandwich. While doing so, he watched as Adso chewed on his 'royal vegetables'.
"Well, if it were 'Chicken Royal', you would have eaten it all out by this time, wouldn't you?" Adso did not pay any attention to Jamie but made a grumbling sound. The cat was still chewing on the vegetables when the red-haired can opener had already devoured his second sandwich. After finishing his meal, Jamie wanted to dispose of the paper bags into the bin. But when he opened it, he realized that he was already full. He took the bag from the bucket and while doing so, he noticed various food packages. Two blue boxes of the "Azora" type of biscuit from Bahlsen fell out of the bucket. Claire must have a weakness for that kind of biscuit. He tied the garbage bag and put it in front of the kitchen door. Then he began to open one cupboard door after the other. The packages he'd seen in the trash had made him curious. Behind the first door, he found cleaning equipment and a roll of garbage bags. Under the sink stood cleaning agents, sponges, small brushes and shoe polish. He didn’t open the second door under the sink. There was the cat food. He already knew that. Then he turned to the small cupboards above the sink and the oven. One of these cabinets contained a large number of little cans with loose tea.
(”Tee” by Tomasz_Mikolajczyk)
In another cabinet, he found muesli varieties, crispbread, muesli bars, ready-made soups, mashed potatoes powder, dumplings, and baking ingredients. The third small cupboard contained a number of tiny glasses with different spices: white and black pepper, salt, sugar, cinnamon, anise, ginger, paprika, tikka masala, cardamom, turmeric, cumin, caraway. curry. In the upper compartment of the long cabinet on the other side of the counter, he found cans and jars of fruit and vegetables. Under this compartment was the refrigerator. He opened it and found nothing except some apples, a packet of butter and three packs of different cheeses. He decided that he would take a closer look at these cabinets when he had more time. Then he also would make a list of all the foods. It would certainly be useful to know which foods she preferred.
(”Lebensmittel” by RitaE)
After he had provided the garbage can with a new bag, he left the kitchen. That was the moment, he noticed that Adso had disappeared. Jamie went to the first floor and entered the bathroom. A disgusting smell rose to his nose. He remembered, that he had noticed it the day before, but now it seemed to be even more penetrating. Then his eyes fell on the cat toilet, which stood in a corner of the bathroom. "Uhh. No!" Another thing he would have to take care of from now on. "Irfrinn."
Jamie pulled up the shutters of the bathroom window and opened it. The rush of fresh air was a blessing. Now he noticed the plants that stood on the windowsill and beside the bathtub. It dawned on him that he would have to care for these too. "One more job," he sighed. Jamie left the bathroom and walked over to Claire's bedroom. He had no words for the chaos that displayed itself in front of his eyes. Claire had told him about her arrest and how rude the police had dealt with her, but he had not expected that. In front of a dressing table, he saw an antique-looking white chair that had been broken into several pieces. Besides the bedside table lay a broken porcelain vase. The mattress of the bed had been raised and then only provisionally laid back on the bedstead. Pillows and blankets were scattered all over the room. The doors of the wardrobes stood open. Apparently, they had been searched. No effort had been made to return the garments to the compartments from which they were pulled out. It would take several hours of time and effort to restore order to this room again. He cautiously climbed over some of the things lying on the ground. Then he opened the window blind and the window. Letting in the fresh air would be the first step. When he was on the way back down to the living room, he noticed a hatch embedded in the ceiling leading to the loft. What would it hide? He hurried down to the kitchen and opened the cupboard in which he had spotted the cleaning equipment. Between broom and scrubber, he found a pole with a born hook. "That's what I was looking for," he said quietly as he pulled the pole out of the closet. Back on the first floor, he led the born hook through the small eyelet, which was attached to the attic hatch and pulled at it. The hatch opened and slowly an extendable staircase glided towards him.
(”Attic Stairs, pulled down”by Scott Arneman [CC BY-SA 3.0 - https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0 - from Wikimedia Commons)
Carefully, Jamie climbed the stairs. When he stuck his head through the hatch, at first he saw nothing. Then he felt a kind of railing to the right and left of the hatch. At the right post of this railing, he felt an attached remote control as he knew it for radio-controlled sockets. He pressed all four buttons and immediately different lamps went on in the room.
"Clever!" Jamie got out of the hatch, entered the floor and looked around in surprise. Instead of a dusty and cobwebbed loft, he found a kind of combined living room and study. As he looked around, he suddenly remembered a conversation with his former colleague Marcel. When Jamie was housesitting the apartment of a friend when Marcel came along for a visit. As he entered the apartment, Marcel looked around and said: "Every house speaks a language. Every house tells a story. And if we look closely, the house will tell us its story." Jamie was ready to watch and to listen carefully. He wanted to hear Claire's story. The story she hadn’t told him yet. Her story. Who was she? “What story are you telling me, Claire? Talk to me, I'll listen ... attentively."
On one of the gables of the roof stood shelves with books and other trifles. Framed black and white photographs hung on the other gable wall. He went to the pictures and looked at them closely. One showed a middle-aged man with a beard and topee in front of an ancient building. Jamie knew instantly what place it was. It was the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Luxor. The man in the picture had to be Claire's uncle Lambert. Another photo showed him with a young girl beside the feet of a colossal statue. Jamie suspected that this photo showed Claire and her uncle in front of the foot of one of the Ramses statues at the Great Temple of Abu Simbel. Another picture showed her and her uncle riding on camels. Jamie started to giggle. He would give a lot to see something like that with his own eyes - Claire on a camel. Before he came to look at the other pictures, he suddenly noticed how Adso stroked his legs.
"How did you come here?" He bent down and stroked the cat. "Will you at least behave yourself?" The cat gently squeezed his head into his hand. "Hm. Seems so." Jamie stretched and looked around the room. Seen from his right side was a large wooden box with metal fittings. He walked over to it and saw that a lettering had been placed on the upper side of the box: "Q. L. Beauchamp." Apparently, the box once belonged to Claire's uncle. What would it contain? Jamie resisted the desire to open it. Right next to the box stood a small black leather sofa. A beige pillow and a dark red rug lay on top of it. In front of the sofa stood a coffee table. On it, he found Claire's laptop in front of a flat screen. Again, he resisted his curiosity to open the laptop. Then he remembered the second gable wall, the one where the bookshelves stood. Most of the books were older books dealing with archaeological topics and countries where Lambert Beauchamp had been active. But there were also some newer publications. Among them, Jamie discovered Tim Jeal's book "Stanley - The Impossible Life of Africa's Greatest Explorer," as well as various books by the British Archaeologist and Egyptologist David Rohl. He immediately recognized the spine of ‘A Test of Time’. Next to it stood ‘The Lords of Avaris’ and ‘From Eden to Exile’.
(Picture: Private)
Several times he tapped his right leg with the palm of his hand, whispering:
"Claire, Claire, Claire, Claire. Undeniably, your uncle was a very unconventional man."
Jamie smiled and turned to the other side of the roof. In the middle, there was a modern tilting window with a sunshade. Underneath stood a simple wooden desk with a modern desk chair. The desk was tidied up. On the left side, he saw some books and notebooks. Each of these notebooks was bound in leather. Year figures were printed in golden letters on the spines. He picked up the notebook closest to him and opened it. At the sight of the lines, he realized that it was a diary. Claire's handwriting was beautiful, bright and consistent. He closed the book without reading and put it back in its place. A modern desk lamp stood on the right side of the desk. Like the floor lamp next to the couch and the floor lamps next to the bookshelves it lightened up when he had touched the remote control at the post of the railing. Next to the books on the desk, he noticed an open calendar in front of it a pen tray. Everything was clean and orderly. Then his eyes fell on the writing pad. There was a book wrapped in a leather cover with a silver fountain pen in a loop at the right edge of it. It was probably Claire's current diary.
(”Traveler’s Notebook” by AnnaBetlejewska)
Jamie gently stroked it with his right hand. No, he would not open it. He already felt like an intruder. This was obviously Claire's personal refuge. He was glad that the police didn’t cause disorder or damage here. He knew from other cases what traumatic consequences a house search could have for the people affected. The unimpeded invasion of a person's privacy always had consequences. For most of the people who experienced such a search, their sense of security was damaged for many years. Had the police even discovered this room? He doubted it because he could not believe that otherwise, they would have left behind Claire's most personal records. Especially her diaries would have been of great interest to the prosecutor. Also, her laptop would have been confiscated.
He went back to the little black sofa and sat down. Then he took the pillow and then the blanket and smelled it. Was that Claire's smell? He wasn't sure. Suddenly Adso crawled out from under the coffee table, jumped into the seat next to him and scrambled onto his lap. Jamie sighed. Then he started to scratch the cat. Meanwhile, he let his eyes wander carefully around the room again.
“This room tells me a lot about your mom, old boy. She is a very disciplined and organized person, right? That doesn’t fit into the picture of the act she was accused of. If she wanted to kill a person, she wouldn’t cause as much chaos as the person who killed Frank Randall. No, that’s not the way she thinks and works.”
The cat purred under his hands.
“Besides, your mom is a smart woman. With her medical knowledge, she would undoubtedly have found other ways to get rid of the old crook. If she had really wanted to kill him, she would certainly have done so in a way that no one could have proved it to her. No, the bloodbath in Grunewald does not suit her at all.”
Adso stretched. The cat climbed from Jamie's lap and walked over to the pillow. Like Jamie just before, he smelled it. Then he looked questioningly at Jamie and meowed.
"It seems we both miss her." The cat answered with some more meows. Jamie didn't know how long he'd sat on the sofa with Adso. But when his stomach started to growl, he knew it was time for dinner. He set the cat carefully on the ground. "Come on, we have to go."
He got up and looked around the room again. Then he went to the desk. He gently stroked the backs of Claire's diaries. Finally, he put his left hand on the book that lay on the writing pad and stayed that way. Then he broke free and headed for the stairs.

How To Choose a Trendy Sofa For Large House
Sofas have always been a must investment in interior furniture. Many people look for an excellent and professional sofa supplier online to provide them with professional suggestions, trying to make the selected sofa consistent with the interior decoration style. Lots of people are now pursuing a stylish and simple luxury style. This article will share with you the selection skills.
You may have got good advice from sofa supplier, a set of L shape leather sofa can help you achieve simplicity, fashion and luxury. If you want to know more about this, then take 3-5 minutes to read them.
What is L shape sofa
Corner sofas are the choice of many large bedrooms. They are generally placed at the corners of the corners. The sofas at the corners can be combined and placed according to your preferences. There are also many forms, such as single seat, double seat, triple seat, chaise bed and step (single chair). You can choose according to your preferences.
You can search for "L shape sofa" on the Internet to check their styles, which is very convenient and you don't need to go out. For large furniture, almost all suppliers support bulk L shape sofa purchase. Of course, if the quantity is large, the supplier will give you a good price, which is well known.
The benefits of choosing an L-shaped sofa
The L-shaped sofa has a corner, so it can bear more people. The L-shaped sofa can be made to lie down more comfortably.
The style of the L-shaped sofa is more atmospheric, and the overall effect is more substantial, which enhances the high-level sense of the home. For example, some modern designs will choose the L-shaped sofa as an embellishment.
If you are a small room, it is not recommended that you choose the L type. But if you want to get a sense of fashion and luxury, then oem leather sofa is the best choice. The bright leather material matches with the simple interior decoration style, which is very easy to highlight the stylish and simple texture.
Why is the leather L-shaped sofa trendy?
You have already understood the benefits of the front L-shaped sofa, it is enough to help you get a better atmosphere. And leather can make your sofa look higher grade, it is the representative of noble luxury. Black is very classic, and it can be well unified with other furniture in the room. The brown leather sofa matches the white wall very well.
In addition, the leather sofa has good air permeability and is very comfortable to sit on. This is why the bosses’ offices are all leather sofas. This is a good investment. The skills meet the needs of fashion, and it can be durable, leaving you with the time and cost of choosing a sofa.
Maintenance of leather corner sofa
Only proper maintenance can avoid the damage caused by time.
After sitting for a long time, you should lightly pat the seat part and the edge to restore the original shape and reduce the slight depression of mechanical fatigue due to the concentration of sitting force.
When placing the leather sofa, it should be far away from heat-dissipating objects, and avoid direct sunlight to cause the leather to crack and fade.
Leather is a natural material and only needs simple and basic care. It is recommended to wipe lightly with distilled water and soft cloth every week, and to maintain with colorless shoe wax or leather grease once a month.
If you spill a drink on the leather, immediately dry it with a clean cloth or sponge, wipe it with a damp cloth, and let it dry naturally.
For the newly purchased leather sofa, first wash the wet towel with clean water, wring it out and wipe off the dust and dirt on the surface of the sofa, and then wipe the surface of the sofa with care agent one or two times (do not use waxy care products), In this way, a protective film is formed on the surface of the dermis, so that the dirt will not easily penetrate into the pores of the dermis in the future, which is convenient for cleaning in the future.
Avoid sharp objects from scratching the leather.
Use a clean white towel with a little alcohol to lightly wipe the stain, and then dry it with a dry wet towel, and finally take care of it with a protective agent.
The sofa should be placed 5-10cm away and keep it well ventilated.
Avoid direct sunlight on the sofa. If the living room is often exposed to sunlight, you may wish to adjust the position of several sofas at intervals to prevent obvious color difference; if the humidity is high, you can use the weak sunlight from 8 to 10 in the morning Irradiate for seven days, 1 hour a day, about 3 months.
If you are looking for sofa supplier to provide you with oem leather sofa, L shape sofa or other sofas, you can make a simple selection on this website. If there is something you like, you can contact us at any time.

1939 Bentley Vanvooren Sunroof Coupe Custom Ordered from Bentley by Lucie Vogt The second Bentley model produced after Rolls-Royce’s acquisition of the Bentley company, the 4.25 L was a development of the earlier 3.5 L. Originally intended to supplement the smaller engined car, the new model’s popularity soon resulted in the elimination of the 3.5 L. The cars were refined and elegant and, as was the convention at the time, fitted with bodies from a wide variety of coachbuilders. While the vast majority of the cars employed British bodies, a few chassis were exported and bodied by foreign coachbuilders. This is one such car, bodied by Vanvooren in Paris. It was ordered new by Lucie Vogt, the 27-year old daughter of a very wealthy French family that had made its fortune through a number of potassium mines. Ms. Vogt was quite an enthusiast and owned many Bugattis, including a Type 57S that she purchased at age 25. Dissatisfied with the service provided by the Bugatti distributor, she ordered the Bentley from French Rolls-Royce Bentley importers Franco-Britannique in 1937, specifying a sliding sunroof and no rear quarter windows so that her dogs would not be so frightened by the traffic. During the war the car was hidden away and then sold to two Swiss owners. In 1957 the car was imported to an American owner in Massachusetts, who sold the car to another Massachusetts resident in October of 1960, with whom it remained until 2004. The paint has been renewed to high standards, showing a few touched-up minor chips. The body is well detailed, with numerous interesting lighting details, and even a cutout in the trunk lid for the exhaust tip. Like a proper French-bodied car, it has Marchal headlamps, a Marchal spot lamp and Michelin tires. The styling is very striking, with a rakish roofline and windscreen and teardrop fenders, hinting more at a Bugatti by Stelvio or Ventoux than the traditional Derby Bentley. The chrome has obviously been redone and is excellent. The very original interior has been selectively renewed and exhibits a nice overall patina. The leather upholstery on the seats and door panels appears to be original and displays much cracking. The wool headliner is of the original type but has likely been redone as it is in excellent condition. The carpets were redone at some point but show some wear; the wood has also been refinished and is excellent, though there are two cracks on the dashboard. Interestingly, the instruments are all in English except for the fuel gauge, which is in French. The engine compartment has been restored to very high standards, though some of the fasteners and hardware are showing some age. On the whole, however, the engine compartment is extremely presentable and makes a strong impression. The underside is very tidy and clean, displaying much evidence of maintenance. Vanvooren produced just five fixed-head coupe Derby Bentleys (which includes both 3.5 L and 4.25 L models), and this is likely the only one with the unique so-called custode windows and sliding sunroof. This car enjoys impeccable provenance and complete history from new, and has been sympathetically restored, wearing its age and beauty well.
- Coachwork by Vanvooren in Paris - 4.25L inline six cylinder engine - Marchal headlamps and spot lamp - Custode windows and sliding sunroof - Custom ordered by Lucie Vogt in France - Imported to the United states in 1957 - Same owner from 1960-2004 - Right hand drive - Sympathetically restored - Excellent chrome - Clean and tidy undercarriage

Should You Clean Your Upholstery Yourself or Call an Upholstery Cleaner?
The fabrics on your upholstery need to be cleaned especially if they are located in high traffic areas of your home or office. The question is do you clean them yourself or hire an upholstery cleaner to do the job for you?
Cleaning upholstery removes the dirt and oil that your couches absorb in daily use. Furniture upholstery can be made from delicate fabrics that may fade when left uncared for.
If you don’t have the right tools or cleaning supplies it’s better to let a professional handle the job.
An Upholstery Cleaner will know the type of fabric you have and know the right cleaning method to use in cleaning. Fabrics can be made from leather, cotton, wool, linen, suede, and microfiber.
The method used can be steam cleaning or applying a dry cleaning solvent especially for delicate fabrics.
Cleaning an entire piece of furniture is not as easy as it looks. A professional goes through the following steps:pretreatment, cleaning, spot removal, plus removing and cleaning all cushions and crevices.
In cases where spot treatment is needed like pet urine, food or wine spills you may end up doing more damage if you try to clean up the mess on your own.
Benefits of Hiring an Upholstery Cleaner
Better Health
Did you know that more than 80% of dust, dirt, and allergens brought into the house by family members will end up in your upholstered fabric?
Upholstery is a magnet for allergens which is bad news for families with health problems. An upholstery cleaner will help you remove dander, pollen, and dust that can cause allergic reactions to your nose, eyes, and throat. Removing these allergens gives you better air quality in your space and a healthier life for you and your family.
Longer Furniture Lifespan
Furniture pieces are quite an investment and you want to get the most out of them. The better you care for your furniture, the longer they will last. Regular upholstery cleaning removes stains, odors, body oil, and dust from your furniture and keeps them from permanently adhering to your fabric.
The cost of having your upholstery cleaned will benefit you and save you money in the long run.
Fresher and Cleaner Appearance
Does your furniture look old and smell bad? You need to call the professionals right away. Daily exposure to pets and toddlers can wreak havoc on your fabric. You may be able to cover things up with a spray or freshener but only deep cleaning from the experts will remove those unwanted stains and odors.
Professional cleaning also restores your furniture and makes them look like new. This helps keep your cushions from deteriorating and gives you a better looking home.
Safe Cleaning Procedures
Fabrics in your upholstery are fragile materials that need professional cleaning and handling. You can’t just clean them like an old rag and expect the best results.
Cheap fabric cleaners may cause further damage and lead to more money spent on fixing the mess.
Professional cleaning companies know the safest and most effective cleaning practices for your specific fabric.
Avoid cleaners that use harmful chemicals in their cleaning process. They can leave a residue that may harm your kids and pets.
Most cleaning companies now use a green cleaning solution that can give upholstery a deep clean but is safe for your family and the environment.
Things To Remember When Choosing a Professional Upholstery Cleaner
There are many companies that offer upholstery cleaner services and it may be hard for you to choose the right one.
Here are some tips to consider when choosing a cleaning company for your furniture.
Expertise
Making the wrong choice in cleaning company can cause plenty of problems. You need to verify claims that your prospective company are well qualified and experienced to do the job.
You can ask for references of previous clients and also for before and after photos of jobs completed. Ask about their cleaning methods and look for the latest tools and equipment that they use for cleaning. Special extraction equipment will remove all dirt, grime, and dust from your fabrics.
Years of experience in the business also counts as they give an indication that customers support them and they already know how to deal with various problems with fabrics and upholstery.
Positive feedback and reviews from loyal customers is a good sign of competence and excellent service by an upholstery cleaning company.
Cost
Value for money is always at the forefront of everyone’s mind when hiring professionals. There are companies that may offer lower prices but that doesn’t mean that they can give the best services.
Prices may vary depending on reputation, cleaning equipment, skilled experts, and type of upholstery.
If you find a company that charges a premium but gives excellent service you better hire them than risk your furniture with inexperienced technicians.
How Much Do You Spend for Upholstery Cleaner Services?
Furniture that’s used often should be cleaned at least once a year. Isn’t it great to remove the smell of pets or tobacco smoke from your couch or sofa? Deodorizing your furniture not only keeps them fresh but also extends their lifespan.
Cleaning upholstery is a difficult task. Impurities found in your fabric like dirt, oil, grime, and mites are not easy to remove from your upholstery. This is why DIY cleaning often fails to produce effective results.
If you want the best cleaning for your upholstery be ready to spend for professional cleaning.
How much you spend on upholstery cleaner services will depend on the size of your furniture and the type of fabric you have.
Prepare to spend around $120 to $150 for cleaning services. If your piece needs repairs like patching a hole or fixing a tear your cost will add up.
Smaller pieces like a lounge chair will cost around $50 to clean while a couch will net around $135.
L shaped sectional furniture goes for an average of $190.
