Aren't plushies beautiful? They were created so a sick child had something to hold. They were created so an adult living alone might have a friend to keep them company. They were created for a teenager to clutch to her chest as she cries. They were created to accompany a college student to his geology classes. They were created not for any material benefit, they don't change tires, but to be loved.
They were created for the purpose of love.

Honorable mention is that this rule almost doesn't apply to the UK. They've got a bunch of cool businesses but I'm too scared of the VAT to order
The deep sadness that hits me everytime I realise a plushie I really want is only available to ship in the US or the shipping is like 10+ €. Maybe I'm just bad at finding but I rarely find unique plushies from small businesses that actually ship affordably to Europe

Taking tentative offers on my GM08 Budsies plush. He was a specialty commission and costed me around $291.29 CAD, but I'm willing to sell for a best offer or trade with items off of my ISO list.
He is about 15" tall and is very overstuffed. He has fabric layered on him to look like clothing (which is not removable.)
Please DM me or contact me through Instagram or Twitter (both under faeriemachine) if you're interested. Serious buyers only, please

ATTENTION: Please do not buy Spin Master or Gund toys firsthand, as the CEO is financially supporting Israel.
"Ronnen Harary and his university friends founded the toy and entertainment company Spin Master in 1994, launching with Earth Buddies and later the wildly successful Air Hogs toys. Today, it’s their Paw Patrol characters and Gund stuffed animals that are globally famous. And for the last two weeks, since the Oct. 7 Hamas massacre in southern Israel, Harary has been on the ground in Israel distributing 25,000 toys for Israeli kids and their families who have been affected by the war with Hamas. And that’s not all. His personal charity is buying new beds for the Hadassah hospital in Jerusalem to boost capacity ahead of expected casualties. Meanwhile, the Canadian philanthropist has also personally driven boxes of socks and supplies to army bases all over Israel, and his charity is helping a Canadian-led operation sending a food truck to feed soldiers before they embark on what’s expected to be an unprecedented ground assault on the Gaza Strip against Hamas, including to rescue hostages."
Canadian toymaker Ronnen Harary is helping Israeli kids, soldiers and hospitals; The Canadian Jewish News

i need to see more plushie positivity. that they arent just for kids they can be for everyone. they're just little guys and if they bring you joy and comfort then we shouldnt be ashamed and i wish it could become more commonplace to see them out and about with people!

Summer is over, and Míng Tāo has been talking nonstop about how much he misses spending time near the pool! (Although these pictures were taken during the winter, funnily enough!)

☆ can we normalize carrying toys / plushies in public? ☆
as an autistic person that struggles with social anxiety, taking my comfort plushies with me always helps me be more comfortable.
it's not wrong to have comfort items, and we shouldn't be shamed for carrying them around!
