I could see Kyokura and Kamukuya sharing exactly one spot where they lurk, and they just exist in each other's company on the rare chance they spend time together.

Nagitozuru is like "Kyoko isn't big on anyone" and she pops out of nowhere going "incorrect, I enjoy Iteration 2 and Byakuya. And Mahiru."

(Absolutely! Though, I do have to say, just for everyone's clarity, that Makoto is Iteration 3 now. Sorry, I hate to be pedantic; I just want to make sure I'm consistent with the numbers, lol.)

"Everyone likes 3," Nagito says dismissively, beckoning Makoto over and wrapping his arms around him.

"Although this is the first time I've heard you say you enjoy anything," Izuru says. He's brewing some tea, and he hasn't been all that engaged in the conversation up til now, but he always likes to keep track of his successors' progress toward individuality. "When did that start?"

"Consciously, it was 6:02 pm, last Tuesday," Kyoko replies. "Subconsciously, I think sometime during the afternoon of the preceding Sunday."

"She's advanced," Nagito observes. "I'm the only one who started enjoying things earlier, and I'm an anomaly."

"So am I," Kyoko points out. "I was removed from the labs earlier than any of you, and my environment is more enriching." She steals a cup of Izuru's tea and extracts Makoto from Nagito's arms, vanishing from the room with him.

"Well, she's certainly made herself at home," Nagito says, leaning on Izuru while he's sipping what's left of his tea.

I could see Byakura occasionally forgetting he's a human being with needs who needs to sleep, eat, etc. and Makotozuru and Hajizuru have to throw him over their shoulders and drag him from whatever he's doing.

Kyokura is already getting the pillow pile ready, Mahizuru is making a nice cup of tea, and Nagizuru is fully prepared to lay on top of him and keep him down so he'll sleep.

I'm just imagining Byakuya has set alarms to meticulously keep track of his needs and then he just ignores the alarms. Like, each morning he makes sure he has his day perfectly planned out, so he'll eat at the right times and all that jazz, but then that's as far as it goes. Because the point was never to actually be responsible; it was just to prove he could if he wanted to.
