@kyloren-sithlord wanted a starter for a post that i can only barely remember now so let's hope i got it right.

There is, in Hux's estimation, very very little in the world that cannot be explained and quantified away, if not outright disproven through a careful balance of science and common sense. Of course, that doesn't mean that he isn't going to take advantage of the poor imbeciles who truly do think that the supernatural is real and 'living' amongst them, but still. The fact remains. He's always considered it something of a public service -- ridding the southern United States of their horrid conception of the afterlife, one poor sap at a time. He's always enjoyed it, in the same sort of way that he enjoys the drag of a cigarette, the neat bite of a good scotch on the back of his throat. It's the look of dawning disappointment when they realize that he's right, and that their 'mid-century ghost with a penchant for breaking priceless teacups' is nothing more than an unstable foundation and a pair of unruly children who have yet to learn the value of not shaking the china cabinet and shouting "Earthquake!" at approximately 7:02 p.m. every night.

The satisfaction that he gets to take their money afterwards is simply the icing on the proverbial cake.

Mitaka -- his bashful, possibly underpaid assistant -- assures him, in the bumbling, meek way that he assures Hux of anything, that this house is different, this house has a real ghost. It's utter poppycock, but Hux supposes that whatever helps Mitaka sleep at night in their tiny shared RV is fine by him. As Mitaka pulls up, Hux gets his first look at the house -- he surmises that it must have looked well-appointed in its time, but that time has most assuredly past. It's dilapidated, to say the least, and Hux finds it very unlikely that anyone could actually spend a night there, let alone actually live there. Still, money is money, and Hux has never turned down the opportunity to do his own, particular, version of community service.

They pile out of the RV -- Mitaka carrying most of their audiovisual recording equipment, Hux a clipboard containing the contract for their services that he has all his clients read and sign before they do any work. Hux is very aware that it's unlikely that they'd really pay him for his services otherwise. No one likes an unhappy ending, after all, and everyone likes to think that they have a 'special friend' in the attic, or that there's a chupacabra prowling about in their alley, or any number of equally fanciful ideas. It's laughable, honestly.

The owner of the house is, well -- curmudgeonly might be putting it nicely, but Hux is a gentleman, no matter what the reviews on the Ghost Order Facebook page say, and gentlemen don't engage in undue namecalling. As it turns out, the owner doesn't live there (Hux breathes a secret sigh of relief in what he can only consider an exceedingly rare show of compassion), but recently purchased the property with the intention of renovating it. It's a story Hux has heard a hundred times. Even Mitaka looks bored, which is...new. (Hux has found that Mitaka's facial ranges vary from 'scared' to 'terrified.' Admittedly, 'terrified' only tends to rear its head before Hux has had his morning coffee, and Hux refuses to look too deeply into the reasons behind this.) According to the man, whose name Hux does not catch due to his southern twang (an accent Hux despises) and horribly distracting halatosis, the contractors he'd hired to repair and refurbish the building absolutely refused to work until the 'ghost' problem was dealt with. Missing equipment, flickering lights, cold spots, the whole nine yards, apparently.

Hux can barely hold back an eye roll.

He tries his best to smile and nod at the appropriate time, trusting Mitaka to do the majority of the actual speaking. This sort of pandering towards potential customers has never come particularly naturally to him -- it's one of the only reasons he keeps Mitaka around, if he's being honest. Well, that and the fact that Mitaka is willing to carry all the gear for him.

By the time that Mitaka actually manages to get Mister Bad Breath to sign the damned contract, Hux can barely contain a sigh of utter relief. He hasn't been this bored since -- well, since the last time they had to go through this entire spectacle with a client. The rickety porch squeaks as he rocks back and forth on the balls of his feet, chomping at the bit to get started. After all, billable time is his favourite time of all. He endures the parting pleasantries of shaking Mister Awful's hand, which is unsuprisingly just as old and creaky as the rest of him, before finally (finally!) being allowed entry into the dilapidated ruin of a house. He blows past Mitaka, trusting him to set up the equipment to his specifications. The house is even more ruinous on the inside, half of the stairwell caved in, construction work half done and litter everywhere. He tries not to cringe at the smell.

Hux takes a single step into what he can only assume used to be the formal dining room, just off the grand entrance, before he can feel a set of eyes on him. He spins on his heel, the ancient wood creaking lightly beneath them -- there's no one there. He can see Mitaka through a broken window, still outside, setting up the first of their video cameras.

And, perhaps for the first time in his career, Hux can feel the seeds of doubt springing up in his unshakable belief in the utter lack of the supernatural.

         {♛}She had felt him the moment he landed on the planet, her son. it was a dark energy now but HIS energy none the less. The General now sat watching the monitor as he was in one of the highest security cells they had. It only took her a moment to verify who they had brought in, and everyone was on high alert then. Some people where prideful, claiming they caught the knight. Other skeptical, they claiming it was a bad idea and he had to be killed immediatly. She crushed that thought very quickly. Even if her son was of the dark side now, he was still what mattered most.

                                                 Her Son.

            “I don’t think it’s a good idea...” The young doctor said at her side. “He’s too calm but i fear if he sees you... General... I-” Leia raised her hand up making the girl grow quite as she bit her red lips to silence herself. “Just keep watch that nothing happens.. and that no one will come in unless something happens.” The older women looked at the young girl who only nodded. What more could she say to the General? No? “Understood.” She says softly and in concern as she watched Leia leave the monitoring room.

          The walk there she could feel the thick atmosphere around her become denser and denser. Three long hallways and four check points until she was finally allowed into the cell. her son still in a cage in the middle. She raised her head her lips gone flat as she stared at the man who was once her boy. His saggy hair covering his face before she spoke clearly. “Ben.”

Headcanon

I mean, when Han was still bounty hunter, I bet he got a lots of Girls and what if some of these get pregnant. Now imagine this kid is force sensitive. So Kylo and all this bullshit finds his other part of his family und he just melts.

And he takes his niece or nephew with him and trains it and every time he did something nice he is so fucking proud and nearly starts to cry.

   {♛} She had run after the attack, no one in the village knew what was happening. The large amount of troopers that had landed could only mean one thing. Someone was on the planet and in that area the first order wanted. She had run like all the rest but managed to find herself close to a cave, the only shelter in sight other than the towering trees and boulders. With luck she made her way up into the open mouth of the cave her clothes drenched in the down pour. she was on her side looking into the cave her brown eyes squinting. “Doctor Grimm!” She called out hoping it was one of the villagers. “Hello?!” Staggering to her feet the young women entered the cave allowing her eyes to adjust before she looked at the person before her, her breathing heavy from running.

Ben nodded slightly, pursing his lips. After so long of living as a smuggler, he had distanced himself from the force as much as he could. Finding out that his brother had embraced not only the Force, but the dark side … It was a bit shocking. “Not that,” he said softly, “your call to the light, and also to the dark at the same time. I can feel it.”

Kylo Ren tried his best not to resent his brother for taking a different path. The force called to him, so he should answer it. Still, he was much more lenient on his sibling then he would would be with anyone else.

He paused, “The struggle is constant.” he admitted, “Regrettably, our bond means that I pass that onto you in close proximity. But fear not. It will pass.”
