You never celebrate your birthday.
Your soul was traded long ago for a hand in retribution so now you'd prefer not to mark the passing of your limited years.
Each year was like another tally of how long it had been since the great fire, a stinging reminder of how long you've survived without your parents.
So while the rest of polite society makes birthdays an extravaganza with galas and banquets, you welcome another year by sending your staff on temporary leave and Ciel with them.
"Go into town and enjoy yourselves."
This was non-negotiable but Ciel understood your reason better than anyone else. So off they went for their annual day of leisure—and bless the beating hearts of your servants for never questioning why you chose isolation as your way of celebrating. Distracting them with the best rooms at the local establishment was partially to blame.
When everything is said and done, the Phantomhive manor is always left sitting in a biting cold, allowing you to finally take in a fresh breath of solitude.
In the dead of night, the manor offered little light aside from the moon peaking through the windows, and with no maid or butler to tail you with a candelabra, your presence would only be known by the sound of your footsteps echoing in the halls.
Each year on your birthday, you were no different from a ghost, only that you had a heartbeat.
You found yourself stopping at the ballroom entrance and after giving an almighty push to the wooden doors, they slowly groaned open.
Refined as it was, any semblance of glamour in this room disappeared when the doors shut behind you. The ballroom looked much smaller without its usual lighting; the shadows cascading from each corner made it haunting—almost derelict. Despite there being no party, you were still dressed for the occasion.
Alone or not, you wouldn’t be caught dead looking poorly.
Your pace remained slow as you strode toward the center, entertaining yourself with painfully accurate scenarios if you were hosting one of your usual gatherings. Poor Finnian would probably be running around, setting forget-me-nots to their respective arrangements; Baldroy would be cooking in the kitchen, trying his best not to light his dishes ablaze; Mey-Rin would be somewhere tripping over her own feet, and as for Sebastian… Well, he’d be making sure it doesn’t get worse than that. As much as it pained you to praise Sebastian, he was always reliable even when faced with the toughest predicaments. Everything always seemed to run smoothly when he was around.
This made you snort.
Of course, Sebastian was reliable. His bustling duties are part of the contract and everyone would suffer if he were to breach it.
Between the clicking sound of your shoes against the smooth hardwood, you thought about how many years had passed since creating your pact. Five years ago, you and your brother had nothing to lose except the one thing that made you humans—your souls. And even that was given up for him to be eternally bound to you.
The pact was purely transactional.
Nothing more, nothing less.
At least, that’s what you’d been trying to convince yourself for the last year. You’ve been through enough adventures together to dull a weak heart. If he held back within the first few years to preserve your professional relationship, you could feel his restraint chipping away the longer you stayed together.
Was it wishful thinking or was a demon truly fancying you?
While the butler occupied your train of thought, you hadn’t realized you stopped walking. You gave yourself a moment to brush away the last of your thoughts and remained in the centre of the floor. The silver moonlight nodded at you through the glass roof and with open arms, you suddenly spun in a complete circle, basking in the empty ballroom in all its glory. At that moment you felt so easy, so yourself, so—
Thump.
You snapped your head toward the sound, your heart racing only a little. It came from the staircase, but it was far too dark to see who caused it or what. All that ease you had just felt left as quickly as it came.
“Who goes there?” You called into the void.
Another thump. Footsteps.
You sucked in your breath, kicking yourself for not carrying at least a dagger. Oh well, you mentally shrugged. In cases like this, at least you had somebody to summon.
With no answer, the figure began to emerge from the darkness as it reached the foot of the staircase and what was revealed made you want to scream a string of curses.
That bloody tailcoat!
You’d be able to recognise who that belonged to even if you wore an eyepatch like your damn brother. “Oh for God’s sake,” you mumbled under your breath.
“Forgive me if I startled you, my lady.”
“What the hell is going on? What are you doing here?! And who's with Ciel?"
"May I suggest for you to calm down—"
"As I recall, I sent everybody on leave. That includes you.”
With a gloved hand over his heart, Sebastian bowed earnestly, “Ciel is being taken care of. I understand your need for isolation but it’s not often good for your mental state, my lady. I thought I could provide you with some company even if you wish to remain stoic.”
“You’re going against an order.”
He approached you slowly as if his sudden presence wasn’t the only thing he had up his sleeves, “I know I am and I know you’re capable of punishment at a later time. I’ll be happy to accept it if that means you get to experience something other than loneliness and silence on your birthday.” With a hint of a smile on his lips, he glanced at the silk scarf you had neatly wrapped around your neck, “Should you feel uncomfortable, you have the power to stop me by force.”
“You’ve gotten quite bold lately, haven’t you?” You crossed your arms and sighed. “So what next? Do I need to walk you through my impressive list of things I do whenever I—”
“There’s no need,” Sebastian took his last step in front of you before the ballroom suddenly came to life. The moon still shone as your main source of light but as if a delicate veil had been lifted, soft, orchestral music rippled inside the hall. There was nobody else aside from the two of you but you felt as though an entire symphony was hiding in the shadows. Leave it to Sebastian to wield the pleasure of music as a weapon, especially when it was the one indulgence you could truly say you cherished.
“I’m guessing this is your doing?”
He extended his hand as a subtle invitation, bowing as he did.
“Guilty as charged, my lady.”
Slightly reluctant, you accepted his hand but not without question. “Are you trying to butter me up with a dance?”
“That depends on whether or not it’s working,” He answered as he pulled you into a gentle waltz. You both move with natural elegance, light on your feet while the music ebbs and flows, and the melody feels familiar to you like you’ve done this many times before. You’ve danced with a handful of Dukes and Barons but nobody has ever led you around a ballroom as gracefully as Sebastian. He whirled you in a full circle and then pulled you close to his chest. You huffed in response.
Sebastian resisted the urge to smirk, finding your flushed expression rather cute.
“I take it that you are displeased?”
“No,” You dropped your shoulders, “But dancing with my butler wasn’t in my playing cards for tonight.”
“Yet here we are, waltzing in the ballroom,” he twirled you again before settling his hand around your waist, “Consider this a birthday present, my lady.”
You stared at Sebastian with confusion. He was the strangest person you’ve ever known. Despite him being the embodiment of somebody’s nightmare, you felt safe around him, but even more so when your eyes met.
You hated it.
“And why gift me something this year? What’s so different from previous years?”
After all, he wasn’t always so stubborn.
He slid his hand to your lower back to gently dip you; as he reeled you back in, he held you closer than before, only stopping when your faces were inches apart. From here, he could smell a hint of your perfume and he could have sworn he felt your heartbeat. He hesitated for a moment as a tinge of guilt succumbs him, “Would you mind if I told you something… personal, my lady?”
You answered curtly with a nod.
“This year is different for two reasons. The first is that you’ve haunted my thoughts for quite some time now. And the second is that… you look especially beautiful tonight.”
Your feet had stopped shuffling at this point. You stood before him, ignoring that your heart had skipped a beat, “What are you trying to say?”
His eyes flickered over your face while his mind flicked over all the possible things to answer. Instead of responding to the question, he changed the subject slightly.
“My Lady, have you ever been in love before?”
“I can’t say I have,” you blinked at him. “And what do you know about love, demon?”
You couldn’t help but assume that his version of love was wicked and cruel. You’ve seen him exploit the human condition more times than you could count.
“I won’t pretend I’m an expert at love but in my long life, I could say I know things about it that you would hardly believe.” Sebastian smiled to himself, amused at the irony of being called a demon when these feelings were the most human they'd ever been. He traced small circles on your waist while shifting his other hand to the crook of your neck, never breaking his gaze as he freed the knot that kept your scarf in place. The scarf was discarded onto the floor but neither of you cared to look. “I’ve seen it in all forms and colours. Love is beautiful, despairing, and everything in between. Love can ruin everything you’ve ever built. It can be your biggest weakness or your greatest weapon. But more importantly, I know what someone looks like when they’re in love.”
A brief silence followed as he allowed himself to take your hand once more and he could feel your grasp tighten so faintly when his lips hovered over your skin, “Pact or not, you have me wrapped around your little finger. But something is killing me. Would you like to guess what it is?”
It was unbecoming of him but he kissed the back of your hand, leaving the pact mark on your exposed skin glowing — ultimately betraying every feeling you tried to suppress. You swallowed thickly before playing it off with a laugh.
“No. Enlighten me instead.”
“As you wish.”
Sebastian hummed as he began swaying you into a much slower version of a waltz, holding you so close you touched at the hip. He lifted your chin, forcing your eyes to meet his, but he was almost left entranced by how ethereal you looked with his mark on you. It wasn’t the first time seeing it but it was the first time he allowed himself to imagine the many other ways he could imprint you.
“Well, my lady, you have no idea how maddening it is to serve you, to watch over you, to constantly want to touch you, to hold you, while knowing that I cannot. It is pure agony. You could call that love, could you not?”
You were barely able to continue speaking, the feelings you had also been hiding were threatening to bubble at the surface, “Well, I suppose you could.” While you rocked from side to side, he thumbed the skin around your jaw as if to ease whatever thought was wracking your brain.
Suddenly stepping away from you, Sebastian said, “Pardon my rudeness, but this is a reminder that my senses are far sharper than a human’s—” he then twirled you in three spins, and when you faced him for the final time, he caught you by the waist, “—so is it safe to assume you carry the same burden as I?”
This brought your waltz to a slow stop but the music continued to quietly play as if the ballroom became a whimsical world unto itself. As you got back on your feet, you rested your hands on his chest while your head hung low. It always frustrated you a great deal that he could read your soul like a book. All you could do was chuckle—earning a brow raise from the butler—but when you finally decided to look up at him, what remained of that chuckle was a rare and defeated smile.
“You caught me,” you confessed.
In truth, he was surprised. He didn’t think your answer would come so easily, even letting out a quiet laugh of his own. Not counting your sadistic grins while you and your kin carried orders at the behest of the Queen, this was the first time he had seen you smile so genuinely in his presence—he couldn’t help but marvel at you. He found himself captivated by it but soon realised that despite your smile, you were just as flustered.
“I knew it,” Sebastian failed to prevent himself from squeezing your waist. No matter how many centuries had passed, humans always felt so fragile to him. You opened your mouth in a silent gasp but he leaned towards you, his voice a low whisper in your ear, “Now, I must tell you something else. However, you may deem it inappropriate.”
A shiver went down your spine and even though you were aware you were alone, you quickly glanced around the room nonetheless, “As if this wasn’t already beyond inappropriate but be my guest.”
Sebastian carefully considered his next words but there was no way for him to conceal his desire any longer—he called your name but his voice was dripped with something you couldn’t put your finger on. “You’ve become so intoxicating, like sweet poison I willingly drink.”
Your eyes widened in surprise. All the words you had prepared died on your tongue immediately. Sebastian always prided himself on being a butler worth his salt, so in the years that you’ve been together, not once has he let formalities slip. You took a moment to think about the events that led you here and embarrassingly, the warmth you were already suffering with, deepened. He wasn’t addressing you as the Lady of the House nor as a butler. He was speaking to you as Sebastian Michaelis, a love-struck fiend.
His fingers brushed against your forehead gently, moving the hairs away from your eyes, studying you intently with a faint hint of wonder in his stare. He had always done his best to hide his attachment but you felt his arm around your waist growing more possessive,
“And seeing you smile—the sight of you is just mesmerising. It unravels me.”
You could feel the confusion and irritation and your mind melted down by his show of affection. “I wish the world would give me more to smile about,” you muttered in a heartbeat.
As if your body had a mind of its own, you caressed his cheek and it was cold in comparison to your skin.
“How damned am I to only smile in the presence of the wicked?” You continued.
He closed his eyes and leaned into your hand—a low, contented hum slipped past his lips. If he could drift into a dreamless dream like this, he would.
“Ah, but are you damned or destined?”
Under the cloak of night, you moved your hand against his lips, making his eyes flutter open in surprise.
What do you think, Sebastian?
Now, it was his turn to smile. Sebastian began placing trails of hot, forbidden kisses down your fingers; you tasted soft and warm, drawing him in like a secret only the two of you shared.
When he saw how all of the sharp edges and hard masks you used to hide behind were gone, he desired nothing more than to take you, hand in hand, towards a place with no promise of light. Despite it defying all conventions, Sebastian whispered with sincerity you had never heard from him before,
“A soul such as yours is so very tempting. Be it that you are doomed, I will enjoy burning with you to the fullest.”

Love Unvieled
A/N: I am behind and I am trying to get posts out. I apologize for the wait and please send me anything you want me to write
pairing: Sebastian x Reader
warnings: Primarily fluff, little angst
w/c: 1060
Prompt: Sebastian and Reader have begun dating. However, Sebastian wants to show the reader his secret.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Y/N Phantomhive, sibling of the young Earl Ciel Phantomhive, lived a life unlike most within the walls of the grand Phantomhive Manor. Shadows danced around them, whispering secrets, and the winds carried echoes of the supernatural. Many rumors spread about the family, and there was more truth to them than one would like to admit. Among the enigmatic figures in the manor, none captivated Y/N as Sebastian Michaelis, the elegant and ever-dutiful butler.
From the moment they laid eyes on Sebastian, a subtle yet undeniable spark ignited between them. Their exchanges were laced with witty banter and fleeting glances that held promises of something more. It was a dangerous game, for Sebastian was no ordinary man. Deep down, Y/N sensed he held secrets darker than the night itself. Ciel had warned them against getting too close, but they knew Sebastian would never hurt them.
As days turned into nights and nights into days, the attraction between Y/N and Sebastian grew stronger. They found solace in stolen moments, glances, and the intoxicating allure of their forbidden connection. In the quiet corners of the manor, they would steal away, sharing kisses and whispered confessions. The boundaries of duty and social standing blurred as their hearts entwined.
One evening, as the manor's halls cloaked in silence, Y/N found themselves alone with Sebastian after he finished his evening duties. The air crackled with tension, their hearts beating in harmony as they confessed their hidden desires. It was a moment of vulnerability, truth hanging heavy in the air, waiting to be revealed. Their flirting had turned into a relationship. They had many nights talking and engaging in other activities, forming a bond, but something was wrong.
Sebastian, unable to bear the weight of his deception any longer, took a deep breath and made a confession that would change everything, including their relationship. He revealed his true nature, unveiling himself as a demon—an entity far removed from the realm of mortals. The revelation hung heavy in the air, heavy with uncertainty.
Y/N's eyes widened with disbelief, unable to comprehend the magnitude of the truth laid before them. "A demon?" they whispered, their voice trembling. "But... that's impossible…"
Sebastian's crimson eyes held a mix of anticipation and fear. He had braced himself for their reaction, knowing it could either solidify their bond or shatter it entirely. "I understand if this is too much for you to accept," he said softly. "But I wanted to share my true self with you, to be honest in a way I have never been before with you."
Y/N's mind raced as they tried to process the enormity of the revelation. Images of supernatural creatures, dark magic, and the unknown flooded their thoughts, but… It explains a lot. Amidst the chaos, there was something else—a deep-rooted trust and affection for the demon butler who had shown them love and devotion beyond measure. They knew what he said was true.
With a mixture of uncertainty and determination, Y/N reached out, their hand trembling slightly. "Sebastian... I may not fully understand the intricacies of your existence, but one thing I do know is that I love you. Your true form doesn't change that, and I wish to see you as you truly are."
Sebastian's eyes widened in surprise, his heart leaping at their words. For so long, he had hidden his true self, fearing rejection and repulsion. But here stood Y/N, not only accepting him but embracing him and sharing words he had longed to hear. A wave of relief washed over him, and a soft smile tugged at his lips.
Encouraged by their reassurance, Sebastian mustered the courage to reveal his true form—a sight that very few had witnessed and lived to tell the tale. In a swirl of darkness, his elegant butler's facade dissolved, giving way to the visage of a demon. His hair turned long and obsidian, black wings sprouting from his back, and his eyes glowed with an otherworldly light. Horns sprouted from his forehead, adding an air of ethereal danger to his presence.
Y/N gasped, their breath catching in their throat as they beheld the sight before them. The initial shock was undeniable, for demons were creatures of nightmares and legends. But soon, their fear transformed into awe. They looked upon Sebastian's true form with a newfound appreciation, captivated by the raw power and beauty that emanated from him.
"You... You're astonishing," Y/N murmured, their voice filled with wonder. "Sebastian, you are more breathtaking than I could have ever imagined."
Sebastian's heart swelled with a mixture of relief and adoration. He had bared his soul, his deepest secret, and instead of rejection, he found acceptance and love. Their words washed away his doubts and insecurities, leaving only the certainty that they were meant to be together.
With a surge of emotions, Y/N stepped forward, their hand reaching out to touch Sebastian's transformed face gently. The ridges of his demon horns felt cool against their fingertips, and a shiver of excitement raced down their spine. "You've shown me a world beyond my wildest dreams, Sebastian. I want to be a part of it, to stand by your side. No matter the challenges we face, we'll face them together."
Sebastian's eyes glittered with tears of joy, a rare vulnerability shining through his stoic facade. He grasped Y/N's hand, intertwining their fingers and pulling them close. "Y/N, my love, you have given me a gift more precious than anything I could ever ask for. Together, we shall conquer the darkness and create our own paradise."
And so, in the depths of the Phantomhive Manor, two souls forged an unbreakable bond—a love that transcended the boundaries of mortal understanding. As the moon cast its gentle glow upon them, Y/N and Sebastian stood united, ready to face the trials that awaited them, hand in hand. In each other, they had found solace, passion, and an eternal love that would defy the ages. Their journey was just beginning, and together, they would navigate the uncharted waters of their intertwined destinies, drawing strength from the love that bound them.

The Secret Affair || Ciel Phantomhive
Synopsis - Ciel had thrown, yet again, another extravagant ball. He approached you, silently asking for your hand to dance. When nobody was looking, he took you upstairs to his study where the two of you engaged in a heavy make out session only to be interrupted by Sebastian.
Warnings - Slightly suggestive.
Notes - All characters are 18+!
Word Count - 0.7k
[Caffeinate Me]
Ciel was known for throwing the most extravagant of parties, so to say tonight’s ball was anything but lavish was an understatement. You had spent the night socialising with the other guests and drinking the night away, occasionally catching the eye of Earl Ciel Phantomhive who sat in the corner away from the festivities with his butler Sebastian. After a while, Ciel got fed up with watching you mingling with his guests. The Earl stood up and made his way over, offering you his hand without saying a word. You placed your glass of champagne down on the large table next to you and reluctantly took his hand. Immediately, Ciel wrapped his arms firmly around your waist and pulled you on to the makeshift dance floor, spinning you around slowly as he gazed into your eyes. Everything seemingly went in slow motion as the two of you twirled around the dance floor, speaking to each other only through your eyes.
After what felt like hours of dancing, Ciel had dropped his hands from your waist and gently took your hand once more. He pulled you away from the ball and up the winding staircase that was out of bounds to all guests, making sure nobody saw you or followed you. When you were deep down the hall and Ciel was happy that nobody had followed you, he pushed you flat against the wall and pressed his lips to yours feverishly. “I have been wanting to do this all night,” he finally whispered against your lips. Those were the first words he had said to you all night. You nodded into the kiss telling Ciel that you felt the same and wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling his body close to yours. Without breaking the kiss Ciel pulled you into the nearest room and locked the door behind you. It was then that he allowed his hand to run up and down your side lovingly. When Ciel pulled away he looked at you, panting and out of breath from kissing you so much. He wiped a string of saliva from his lips and smirked at you. “Are you okay, Y/N?” He asked, his singular eye searching yours.
You simply nodded and began to kiss him once more, not wanting to continue talking. Ciel seemed okay with this, his lips moving in tandem with yours. You gripped the front of his shirt and pulled him as close to you as physically possible, sighing into his lips. Ciel was about to play with the straps of your dress when a bang on the study door caused the two of you to break apart. “Master, I do believe your guests are missing your presence,” it was Sebastian.
Ciel rolled his eye and looked at you apologetically before shouting back, “I’ll be out in a minute. I’m just… preoccupied with something…” He trailed off, his lips swallowing yours again hoping that his answer was enough for Sebastian to leave the two of you alone.
“Master, I must insist that you come out now,” Sebastian said sternly from behind the door. “I can make sure Lady Y/N is returned to the ball without being seen.” Ciel froze at his butler’s words and his eye widened. He pulled away from the kiss and called back.
“She’s not here!”
“Oh?” Sebastian chuckled. “Then who are you in there with?”
“Nobody!” Ciel growled. “I just needed some time away from the festivities, Sebastian. Go away, that is an order.”
“Very well,” Sebastian sighed. “But, please return to the ball as soon as possible. Your guests are getting quite antsy.” And with that, the butler turned on his heels and walked back to the ball.
Ciel sighed softly when he heard Sebastian’s footsteps fade away and he instantly tried to kiss you again. You pulled your head away and gazed into his eye, a frown on your face. “You should get back to your ball,” you whispered.
“But I’m not finished with you-” Ciel started, but you cut him off by placing a quick peck to his lips.
“We will meet again, Ciel,” you smiled reassuringly.
He groaned frustratedly knowing that you were right and stomped his foot lightly on the ground petulantly. “Fine.” You smiled and kissed him again, this time much softer than your previous heated kisses of the night. When you pulled away, he grabbed your hand and placed your knuckles to his lips softly, muttering, “one day, I promise you, we won’t have to sneak around anymore.” You nodded at his words, your heart fluttering in your chest. You believed him, you really did, but you didn’t see that day coming anytime soon. For now, you both just had to be happy with your secret affair.

One hell of a clumsy Master.
Prompt : Sebastian x reader
Sebastian and reader are bonded by the contract and in a relationship that started a little while ago. Has the day pass during their sweet romance, Sebastian discover more and more that his darling love is quite clumsy.
It wasn't the first time that you injured yourself because of how clumsy and unlucky you were. Actually it happens more time that you could recall. Luckily however, you had Sebastian to look out for you and make sure that you wouldn't hurt yourself by your own accord. Nonetheless, sometimes in rares occasion when your sweet demon lover was busy and away in missions, it happenes without you being able to prevent it. You always fret these moments and hoped it would go swiftly but it often doesnt.
Unfortunately for you, today was one of these very rare instance. This morning you had requested that Sebastian fetch you some information about a certain man that the queen seemed interested in. Then, per your request he had left and you were without surveillance in the mannor. At first you were sure that everything would go well since he wasn't suppose to leave for very long and that you wouldn't leave the mannor until then. But...well, that was until you tripped on your own shoe laces, on top of a quite large staircase and fell...Like it wasn't enough, you actually fell down face first and as you tried to shield your head before the landing, you heard a quite distinct crac and yelled in pain. You cried out and tried to breath as you felt your body hurting from everywhere. The landing has been quite brutal and you bumped on a couple of stairs while getting down. You hit your head enough to feel dizzy even though you shielded it first and focusing on staying lucid and awake was harder that you realised.
A curse left your lips as you breath in a raging manner. God you couldn't believe that it actually happened...well yes you could but you hated how clumsy you were. Why did you send Sebastian away this morning! If he had stayed by your side none of this would have happened. Thinking about your lover made a tears fall down your eyes and you groan in pure pain as you tried to move your right leg...why was it hurting that much.
You barely could move it and your eyes were closing by themselves as you mumbled your demon name over and over in a type of plea. God you wanted him by your side and needed him. Your brain was so fussy and you could barely think straigh, the fall and the hit on your head maybe was harder than you tough. Yet, as you cried and sniffed, your eyes fell on your wrist where you had the contract mark. You whimpered a little and spoke with a weak and desperate voice while it started to shine.
Sebby...come to me, please.
You barely finished your words that you head started spinning hard and you fell unconcious on the bottom of the stairs.
(Five hours hour later.)
You groaned as you slowly opened your eyes and realised it was quite dark in the room. You tried to look a little around but your head hurt as you move your neck too fast after regaining consciousness. A yelp left your lips and the name or the man you wanted so bad to see came out of your lips in a pleading manner.
Before you knew it, you felt soft hand against you cheeks and heard a soft and gentle voice that you literally whimpered when hearing. It was Sebastian and he was beside you, looking so terrified and worried that you felt terrible. Without you even having to ask for it, the dark hair demon that you loved so terribly sat beside you on the bed and kissed your lips. The hot and recomforting gesture made you sigh a bit and forget how baddly you felt right now. You couldn't tell what injury you had, you were to scared to move but by the look Sebastian gave you it was bad.
Sebastian...it hurt so bad.
You told him with a voice that sounded so wounded and weak that it seemed like one of a child.
You couldn't look away from his eyes and your hands that seemed fine surprisingly reached to take his face. When you did, the butler wispered your name and kissed the inside of your wrist.
I know it does my darling...I'm so sorry. I should have been here with you at the mannor it's my fault. Because of me you have a twisted ankle that look quite bad and you got a pretty severe head concussion. The doctor said you were lucky to have only that but...look at you, what am I going to do with you my love. When I heard you call for me earlier, you sounded so broken and desperate that my heart stopped. I nearly lost my mind while getting back to the mannor and when I found you...laying down on the bottom of those stairs unmoving and covered in bruses...I tough I'd lost you. I don't think i have ever been that scare in my life.
Sebastian finished his words and you felt broken. He looked so sad and worried, it was killing you. In an attempt to reassure him and show him you were here and fine...well has much that possible after falling down 50 stairs, you gently kissed his cheeks and then his lips. It was a soft and gentle kiss but full of love and affection. Your hand that were still framing his handsome face gently moved to his hair and started playing with them before you finally spoke up.
Sebastian it isn't your fault at all...I'm the one that fell and the one that sent you away from me. It's all on me. Yes I do admit that I regretted my decision the second that I tripped and fell but you couldn't have known I was in danger my love. I am fine now, I'm staying in your arms for the night because I don't even want to think about being alone again. Well at least not until I am compleatly recovered. So...would you sleep with me tonight I need you to stay close to me and I want my lover...
After you spoke, Sebastian's eyes shined with a bit of glossiness and it surprised you to see at first. It was really rare that he showed emotion but you couldn't help feeling lucky to be one to see it.
Without waisting a single second, as you ordered Sebastian undid his coat before placing it on the chair beside your master bed. After that, he kissed your forehead and gently slid under the blankets to lay beside you. His arms making sure not to touch or hurt a spot that was in mending, circled carefully around your waist and his head layed on your shoulder. A soft satisfied growl left his form when finally close and securly laying by your side and he layed kisses on your neck to reassure you like he could.
Darling...I won't ever leave you out of my sight again. Not only while you heal but ever. I can't allow something like this to happen an other time. I won't allow it, i will make sure of it. Your body won't ever be In this state again.
Sebastian's confession and desire to protect you at all cost made butterfly's flutter in your belly. He was so protective and you couldn't help a smile to shine on your lips when you closed your eyes and fell asleep in his arms.
Good then, I would have expected nothing less from you. After all you are simply one hell of a lover.

Is that pedophilia ?
I have a question : My best friend used to have a crush on Alois Trancy from Black Butler, like he was always her favorite in her top husbandos list, and now that we had grow up it didn't really change. I don't think this is pedophilia , she never said anything like sexual desires towards him, now she simply imagine him the same age as her, and i want to have your opinion about that.
I know that she isn't in love with him because he is a child, but she just adores him because of who he is, so what do you think?

A ‘Little’ Helping Hand 🍪
It’s nearing Christmas, and Sebastian allows Ciel to help bake cookies with him. But will the mischievous little boy keep his hands to himself this time?
—
The little boy snoozes away underneath his warm blankets, hugging his bunny plushie closely and dreams of happy times swirl around in his head. He is peaceful, a very peaceful child indeed. Not even the faint shine of daylight sneaking through his curtains can convince him to wake up, for he’s wanting to stay like his all day…
Although he feels like today is a very important one.
Suddenly, the light grows brighter, now invading the entire room and accompanied by the tiny sound of footsteps approaching his bed.
Ciel knows who it is right away but is still too sleepy to open his eyes and look at him in the face, so he awaits to be lifted up into his arms instead - he wakes up easier that way.
“Rise and shine, bluebird.” The man’s soft voice tickles Ciel’s ears, and a light hand rubbing his shoulder almost gets him to open an eye. It’s unsuccessful though.
With the obvious reluctance, the man whispers something unclear, but it does sound like words on the lines of ‘so much for baking’; this of course grabs the drowsy boy’s attention. He perks up with wide open eyes as if he was faking his sleepiness since the man stepped in the room, and the first thing he sees is a smug grin that says ‘works every time’.
“Papa? Can I help?” Ciel asks, reaching out his grabby hands with the most innocent eyes.
How can Sebastian Michaelis over here resist such a cute gesture he’ll never get tired of? Which isn’t normal for him by the way. But he continues to smile genuinely as he picks his child up and places him gently on the bedroom floor.
“That depends if you can actually assist in the task of making them for once. Can you do that for me at least?”
Ciel’s smile slightly fades after his father’s request; the memories of previous attempts to ‘help’ bake aren’t that pleasant, and one time did got him grounded once. He hesitates for a minute before giving an honest nod. “Mmm hmm.”
“There we go.” Sebastian’s grin is much softer this time, patting his child’s bed hair which needs a good brushing - speaking of which:
“But first, let’s get you dressed for the day.”
~
Cold, bitter weather grows outside the Phantomhive mansion, and yet the fireplace within keeps everyone present warm. And yet Sebastian doesn’t think twice about having Ciel wear the new sweater gifted to him by the Midford family; much to the poor little boy’s distaste. The reluctance doesn’t last long fortunately for they now make their way down to the manor’s kitchen, allowed to use it for themselves by the main chef himself.
The smells of most of the ingredients is almost enough to get the little Ciel out of his pouty state, until his father doesn’t place him near them and kindly rolls up the sleeves of his sweater.
“Alright, Ciel. If you want to help Papa, you must first wash your hands. As they say, cleanliness is next- well, it’s important.”
Ciel can only grumble in response, so Sebastian has to guide him to the big sink himself, attempting his best to not be irritated. “Come along now.”
Finally, with cleanliness all prepped, they can actually get some baking started.
The first steps are pretty easy; mainly because Sebastian is doing most of the work. Things like pouring the correct ingredients into the mixing bowl, measuring the right amount for each, and picking up Ciel every now and then to aid in pouring and mixing. But once the man’s back is turned to grab utensils, he senses the feeling of little hands dipping into the mixture of even the bag of sugar.
“Bluebird? What are you doing?” Sebastian asks ‘curiously’ without turning back around.
The obvious answer that you would normally hear from a hungry child gives out. “Nodhing.”
“You aren’t thinking of helping yourself to the batter again, am I wrong?”
The boy says nothing. So when Sebastian turns back to the table, that teasing grin of his returns again. All Ciel can do is sit still in guilt on the counter - he may love his father but he can be slightly scary most of the time.
Progress is continued to be made, with still a few hiccups of the boy trying to restrain himself, but luckily his father has grown to be more patient than what he initially thought. Once the batter has been rolled out, comes the more fun part to cheer him up - shaping the cookies.
Sebastian passes one cutter in the shape of a gingerbread man while he deals with the more regular shaped ones. The boy does his best pressing down wherever he can, leaving big spaces between each one.
“Try to conserve dough by keeping them close to each other, Ciel.” Sebastian informs, guiding his child’s hands to the correct positions.
Some Ciel did well, but some others he did out of either habit or ignoring the advice. Either way, it doesn’t take long for the trays to be full of almost perfect looking Christmas cookies just needing to be baked. Since Ciel is still too young to handle, or even help, with this part, he’s been tasked to now wait back in the drawing room while he takes care of the rest. With another agreeable nod, the boy rushes out the kitchen (probably relieved that he can try and get the terrible sweater off) and quickly too, for he doesn’t catch the glimpse of his father’s grin softening up.
~
There he stays for now, sitting and quietly moping at the frosty snow flurrying outside in the garden, just staring at it makes him feel chilly even while wrapped in his sweater (Tanaka convinced him to keep it on).
He’s keeping himself entertained with just a handful of random drawings he doodled, until he picks up a noise coming from the door - a knock. Tanaka the butler opens it politely and who else but Sebastian enters steadily with two plates in hand. One carries a regular breakfast for the morning, the other has those now baked, decorated, appetising cookies they made.
Ciel’s face brightens up at the first sight of them, and though he wants to reach out to grab one or two, he actually stops himself. As many times he’s told ‘no desserts until after a proper meal’ by his father every day that he’s grown to respect that rule. Now on any normal day that would be correct, but today, the primary dish has been placed to the side for once, leaving the boy to look confusingly up at him.
“Papa, that’s not the right plate.” Ciel gestures at the baked goods.
“Really?” Sebastian questions in a soft tone. “After putting your own effort into helping, surely you won’t mind this one off on your own birthday.”
Ciel’s eyes widen at that last word. His sudden realisation of what day it is catches his father’s attention straight away.
“Do not tell me you lost track of what day it is, my child. Why else would I allow us to do something like this together?”
The smile after says it all.
Ciel slides passed the fact that he somehow forgot today’s date and why everyone wanted him to keep on that unpleasant sweater and directly goes for the cookie platter. The gingerbread man decorated to look like a fancy noble is first, how sweet and delightful it is, bringing back the adorable smile upon his face.
Of course Sebastian doesn’t forget to remind his son to not eat them all in one go, as he needs to save some for the guests at the party later that day, and to not make another mess in the already tidied room. But through it all, it’s worth just to spend more time with the now six-year-old boy smiling again by the end of the day.
Reaching out his hand, he pats his child’s soft, combed hair once more and keeps this thought within his mind like he does every year:
‘Happy birthday, my little bluebird.’
——————————————————————————
Finally managed to write something for Ciel’s birthday after all! Although it’s not my best, I hope you still enjoy :) 🎉

Best friend! Grelle Sutcliffe x Depressed!GN! Reader <3
I just like her a lot and I think she's beautiful, so here's a oneshot I wrote about her!
。*゚+(This is also written on my Wattpad, the first chapter of my Grelle one shots book)。*゚+
。*゚+*.✧—☆
The world feels like it’s drained of color, like someone turned down the vibrancy of everything around you. You sit alone in your small, dimly lit apartment, staring at the patterns of light and shadow dancing across the walls as the sun sets outside. There’s an ache in your chest, a heavy weight that makes it hard to breathe, let alone smile.
A sudden, loud knock at the door startles you. You hesitate, wondering if you can find the energy to respond. But the knock comes again, this time followed by an unmistakable voice,
"Oh, darling, don’t leave me waiting out here! I might faint from the indignity!”
You can’t help the small, reluctant smile that tugs at your lips as you stand and head to the door, opening it to reveal Grelle Sutcliffe in all her flashy, bold glory. Her red coat, vibrant hair, and crimson lipstick make her look like she’s stepped out of another world and brought its color with her.
Without waiting for an invitation, Grelle steps inside, her sharp eyes immediately taking in the state of your apartment—and of you. She softens instantly, closing the door behind her with an unusually gentle touch. “Oh, darling,” she murmurs, her gaze tender. “You look like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders.”
You sigh, feeling exhaustion settle deeper into your bones. “It… feels like that,” you admit quietly, not meeting her eyes.
In a rare moment of silence, Grelle reaches out, pulling you into a warm, unexpected hug. She smells like roses and something deeper, like the warmth of a bonfire. She holds you tight, letting you simply exist in that comforting embrace.
After a moment, she pulls back, one hand lingering on your shoulder as she looks you over with a look of fierce protectiveness. “You know, I have impeccable taste, and I choose my friends wisely,” she says with a small smile. “Which means I can say, without a doubt, that you’re magnificent—even if you can’t see it right now."
Her words cut through the fog surrounding you, and something in her expression tells you she’s not just saying this out of kindness. She means every word.
Grelle grabs your hand, her eyes twinkling with the glimmer of an idea. “Come with me, love. Just for a little while. Let me show you a piece of the world through my eyes.”
Before you can protest, she’s pulling you out of the apartment and down the street. You find yourself weaving through the city, her presence beside you a steady anchor. She chats with you about anything and everything—distracting you with wild stories, dramatic commentary, and sly jokes that actually pull a few reluctant laughs from you.
At some point, you end up on a bridge overlooking the city lights, and Grelle leans over the edge, a grin spreading across her face. “Look at this, darling! All these lights, all this life. You’re a part of this world, and it’s lucky to have you.” Her eyes glimmer as she looks at you. “I’m lucky to have you.”
For a moment, the heavy weight inside you feels lighter, like Grelle has managed to lift it a little with her presence alone. She turns to you with a mischievous smile, her eyes filled with that infectious spark of life.
“So, here’s what we’re going to do. Tomorrow, I’m coming back, and we’ll do this all over again. I’ll be your annoying, fabulous best friend, and you’ll have to put up with it.” She winks. “Who knows? Maybe tomorrow i can help you see a little bit of what I see in you.”
You can’t help but smile, a real one this time, small but genuine. And as you look at Grelle, standing there in the glow of the city lights, you realize that maybe—just maybe—things won’t always feel so heavy.
And as she pulls you into another fierce hug, you feel that sliver of hope settle in your chest, thanks to the friend who refuses to let you be anything less than cherished.

pour me all of the gregory headcanons you wanna talk abt, be it romantic, general
anything, i’m starved🙏
Damn straight anon you have your priorities and I respect that
You might have see some of these featured in my other posts:
Hand cramps, and their pain level varies. I don't know much about it, but think carpal tunnel. Drawing for hours, even days, straight is therapy in the 1800s for him.
He's pretty impatient, and pushy if he needs to be. Problem is, he doesn't need to be with the other p4 and cheslock's mouth flapping around, so he's sat.
A messy person. Cheslock can clean up better then him.
Top Gregory anon, consider it.
Being odd, he's naturally a noticer of odd things. He hyperfixates on the protruding pulsating veins on the backs of Herman's hands, a lock of Edgar's hair that's shorter then the rest. When he casually mentions Lawrence's different prescriptions for each eye, Lawrence casually scoots away.
He slouches so he's taller then he looks
Sharp features he softens with makeup. His nose is sharp, the tips of his eyes sharper, and his lips are deeply curved.
P4 took a while to like him, but he decided he would kill for them on first meeting.
He can be pretty annoying actually. It's not even depending on how close someone is to him, he's so quiet it flies over peoples heads sometimes. Cheslock is the main victim of going back to Purple House from the gazebo 3 times straight because Violet refused to elaborate on WHAT black sketch book with the worn pages and spine he was referring to.
Freak in the sheets
His loves runs deeply and dearly.
The incident at Weston was to protect the prefects, not tradition. He did not give a damn in the moment.
He refuses to let Cheslock wash his cloak and he wears one so it starts smelling a little funky until his fag pries it off him like a toddler and his blanket.
He relates to Lawrence most. They're the quietest in the group.
That's if for now he's so skrunkly leave more ideas guys

Domesticity– Kuro One-Shot
Summer heat and unfamiliar places lead to restless nights. Ciel and Elizabeth talk. Married life fluff. Rated T/M(?). 2k words.
“Can’t sleep?” Ciel’s voice rang out from his place in the balcony doorway, his slender frame leaned against the frame. He appeared more boyish than usual; standing barefoot with tousled hair and wearing a matching pajama set that were rolled at the ankles and wrists, an homage to his former self. Now at 19, his youthfulness continued to find ways to stick around.
“Well, thrashing around in bed would only irritate both of us, so I’m trying to bore myself back to sleep”. Elizabeth responded without glancing up from the page in her book, Walden by Henry David Thoreau, illuminated by a single candle on the glass table next to her. She sat curled up in a chair on their balcony, though it was really her balcony since she was the only one who used it. “It’s far too stifling inside, I couldn’t take it anymore” She admitted plainly.
It only took a couple strides for Ciel to take his seat next to her. Height was one of his indicators that he was not a child anymore. At around 15 he’d caught up to Lizzy’s height, and by 17 he noticed he could see clear over the top of her head. “The manor still isn’t to your liking?” He posed to her, his gaze wandering off into gardens and forest below them.
Three months had passed since their wedding, though if you told her it had been merely days, she would’ve believed you. Nothing was to her liking because this manor was not hers, it was theirs. Frankly, Elizabeth was not used to sharing anything prior to marriage. She had a brother, but their lives were entirely separate. Then suddenly on a random day in April, she was sharing an estate, a name, and a bedroom with someone else. It was incredibly odd to her to not be waking up in the same room she had been for the past 20 years of her life. The adjustment had been difficult on Ciel too, that went without saying. He had been quite comfortable with his solitude and enjoyed having control over the frequency of company. On that same day in April, that privilege was taken away too. They were always in each other’s space and still trying to find the rhythm of their life. And now, to agitate things further, it was the peak of summer.
Unable to come up with a more eloquent response, Elizabeth said, “It’s just hot”, sighing softly as she adjusted in her spot. If it weren’t for the optometrist nagging her about reading in the dark, she would’ve snuffed out the candle ages ago. Even the slightest amount of heat it emitted was seemingly canceling out any scarce breeze that came along. Finally, she closed her book in her lap. “I’m just restless, it’s no one’s fault but my own”.
Ciel looked at her. She had grown up too, more than himself, he’d argue. Her hair was always down, framing a face that had sharpened from once being stout. The way her eyebrows were always slightly furrowed made it appear that she was in a constant train of deep thought, a trait no doubt adopted from her mother. Sharp, calm, and opinionated was how he’d describe her. All her girly traits and pleasures were still there under the hard shell she had created to protect herself, just over time they became more strictly reserved for those closest to her. He understood this all too well and did not question her when she had started to change. He’d been numb to her beauty before, but the longer he stayed around her, the quicker the ice within began to thaw.
Her explanation was met with a hum. It’s not that he was indifferent to her discomfort. If she asked for something, he’d see to it immediately. They both knew this, sitting and silently staring at one another in the darkness. “Should we go for a walk?” He suggested, gesturing to the vast acreage at their disposal below.
Elizabeth turned her head slightly in confusion, like a dog that can’t understand what is being told of them to do. “At this hour? And with no shoes?” She asked, her book moving from her lap to the table as she adjusted her nightgown around her legs. This was another thing she was not used to: the freedom that came with marriage. There was no more chaperoning or parental observation. It was just the two of them and the privacy their home provided. It was freeing. Surely, she understood that this was quite the paradoxical take on marriage for the times. Many women her age, many that she personally knew, would rather describe their arrangements similar to that of a bird having its wings clipped. Grounded, caged, and miserable. Ciel never made her feel that way though, intentionally or not.
“Shoes can be easily acquired” He responded cooly, a successful attempt at humor in her opinion. He sat forward in his chair, his own tiredness revealing itself around his eyes. If he felt compelled to, he was close enough that he could reach out and touch her, but he didn’t. “I think it would help if we did” He said as a way to compel her to agree with him. He used this tactic often, even if it really was just for her benefit.
Contemplating, her eyes narrowed at him, waiting for him to change his mind or suggest something else. Reciprocated silence was all she received, causing her to reach over and pinch out the flame. “Alright, let’s find you some shoes then” She said as she stood, taking his arm and tucking her book under the other.
-
They walked arm in arm through the garden paths, the white moonlight lightening everything enough to be navigated in the dark. The pair was silent, not stopping to admire anything like you normally would in the daytime. Despite being closer than ever before, they didn’t know what to do with each other. Marriage had widely opened the door for intimacy, but the furthest they’d got was fervent kissing and uncertain groping. The truth was that neither of them were ready for the consequences that came with the act of being intimate; that they both agreed on. In the first few weeks of their marriage, Elizabeth realized something else. Most of their personal interactions throughout adolescence had been centered around conflict. It had been fighting, bleeding, arguing, testing, and crying. And now that there was no conflict, they did not know how to interact. Now there was just domesticity that they were both unfamiliar with.
“Do you have a favorite animal?” Ciel asked out of the blue after some time, choosing which paths they were walking along. He knew them best.
The question dragged Elizabeth back down to Earth from her thoughts so suddenly that she wasn’t sure he had even opened his mouth to speak. Perhaps the walk really was helping her become tired. “A favorite animal?” She repeated back, mostly to make sure she wasn’t completely hallucinating.
“Yes, if you have one” He responded simply.
Elizabeth thought about it for a moment. This was one of the lesser profound questions she’d been asked by him, grateful in her exhausted state that it lacked complexity. She mentally narrowed it down to a few options before giving her final answer. “Deer. I think deer are my favorite. I’ve always had an affinity towards them”.
Ciel turned to her at this, though she did not move from his arm, so they were standing terribly close. Marble benches and statues around them were exceptionally illuminated from the moon. “And why is that?” He asked.
Even given the warmth in the dead of night that had bothered her so badly before, she couldn’t help but lean into the heat he was giving off. “Well… they’re pretty innocent animals. They’re too small to be put to work but too big to be domesticated by humans. So they just… exist”. She explained to him, allowing their bodies to continue moving in tandem.
“Do your parents know about your fascination with deer?”. His voice almost carried some laughter in it. It was ironic given that her parents were avid hunters, taking pride in slaughtering an animal she cared so deeply about. Even Ciel knew about this obsession, which caused her to smile as a childhood memory resurfaced in her mind.
Nodding as she briefly closed her eyes to recall the story. “Yes, in fact when I was young, maybe 9 or 10, I wrote my father this long letter about how I didn’t want him to hunt deer anymore. He was upset that I was defying him in a way but also impressed that I was able to speak my mind so freely at a young age”. She said up to him, leaning her head against the side of his arm.
Now, he was laughing, or really more of an amused chuckle. Probably imagining the dramatics of it all, something her father was an expert in. “Please tell me you remember what you wrote in that letter. Or still have it stored away somewhere so I can read it”.
“Something about how deer are God’s creatures and that it’s cruel to hunt something just because it doesn’t serve a human purpose”. Elizabeth smiled as she replayed the scenes, looking much different from a child’s perspective. It really was an earnest attempt on her part. “My father won’t give the letter back to me. So if you want to see it, you’ll have to ask him”.
Satisfied with her reply, they fell back into a comfortable silence. They were not keeping track of time while they walked, though it was obvious morning was approaching as the sky slowly transformed into a deep shade of blue instead of black. Eventually, the question was reciprocated.
“Owls. I think they’re fascinating” Ciel answered after his own pause of contemplation. “I don’t have some historical emotional attachment like you do though, so my answer is far less interesting”, he teased. At some point, they stopped underneath a tree that made the manor appear small in the distance.
“You know–” She started, having detached herself from his arm to lean against the tree instead. “– now that I think about it, you’re a lot like a deer”.
“How so?” He inquired back, crossing his arms across his chest as he waited for a response. He felt that she was always coming up with the most intelligent things to say. It always impressed him.
Smiling, which was never a good sign from her, reaching her hands forward to rest on his chest. “Well… you have these big, round, beautiful eyes that everyone can’t seem to resist” She started, eliciting an eye roll from Ciel. “...And you have these long limbs you still don’t seem to know what to do with” She continued, enjoying the way it made him shake his head and smile. “And I think you’re very innocent, regardless of what you think”.
Ciel looked at her for a long while, finding strange comfort in her words. It wasn’t necessarily a compliment, but rather a fond observation he was unaware she’d been making. Years in the making, he’d bet. He knew too that partially he was being taunted back, but did not mind. “What about the whole domestication part? Do you think that’s accurate too?”. He asked, disguising his need for confirmation as playful banter.
Her eyes narrowed again as she considered her reply. She saw right through the disguise. Normally she would gush over him, tell him that he’s a fantastic husband and even more reliable partner, and to never question it. Deeply, she still believed all that to be true, but chose a different response instead. “I do, but I’m more than content to just exist with you. There’s really nothing else I’d ask for in this life”.
So, they returned back to their manor and their bed, no longer restless. Still hot, but definitely not restless.

The Secret Affair Part Three || Ciel Phantomhive
Synopsis - You find out you're pregnant with Ciel's baby.
Warnings - SFW.
Notes - Characters are 18+!
Word Count - 2.2k.
[Caffeinate Me]
It had been a few months since word got out about yours and Cie’s engagement. You moved into the Phantomhive Manor shortly after his proposal and quickly became a part of the Phantomhive family.
You woke up in the early hours of the morning feeling unwell. You felt sick to your stomach, something that wasn’t unusual for you. You trudged your way down to the kitchen and grabbed yourself a glass of water, chugging it in the hopes that it would help ease your queasiness. You sleepily walked back to bed and slipped in besides Ciel who quickly wrapped his arms around you in his sleep, pulling you close to his body. You let out a soft, content sigh and closed your eyes slowly drifting back off to sleep. When you woke up in the morning, Ciel was gone. His bed clothes were neatly folded on his side of the bed. You sat up and rubbed your eyes, looking at the clock on your bedside table. It was almost 9am. Your eyes widened and you shot up, grabbing a dress out of your wardrobe and dressing yourself quickly. You made your way to Ciel’s study to see him sitting there looking concerned.
“Ciel?” You asked, tapping on the doorframe to gain his attention. “Are you okay?”
Ciel looked up at you, a smile playing on his lips as soon as his eye fell on your form. “Y/N! You’re awake!” He exclaimed.
“Why didn’t you wake me this morning?” You asked, walking further into the room.
“Sebastian said you woke up not feeling well. I wanted to let you rest,” Ciel replied, standing up from his seat and making his way over to you. He wrapped his arms around your waist and placed a soft kiss on your lips. “Are you feeling any better?”
You shook your head. “Not really, no.”
“Oh sweetheart,” he mumbled, brushing some hair out of your face. “What’s wrong?”
You shrugged. “I don’t know. I just feel really sick.”
Ciel placed the back of his hand on your forehead and frowned. “You don’t feel warm. Was it something you ate?”
You shook your head. “Surely if it was something I ate, you’d feel the same?” You questioned. Ciel nodded in understanding.
“I suppose.” He pressed another kiss on your lips. “I have to get back to work, but you’re more than welcome to stay if you’d like.”
You shook your head again. “I’ll leave you to it, Ciel. I’m going to get some breakfast, maybe help Mey-Rin with some chores.”
Ciel raised an eyebrow. “Is that really a good idea while you’re not feeling well?”
“It’ll take my mind off of it,” you whispered. You kissed him and said goodbye before exiting the study and heading down to the kitchen.
As you arrived at the kitchen, Sebastian was already preparing your breakfast. “Ah, Lady Y/N,” he chimed when he saw you standing in the hallway. “How are you feeling this morning, my lady?”
“Not great Sebastian,” you replied with a small smile. Sebastian’s eyes seemingly shone at your words, a mischievous glint was held in them.
“Well that’s no good,” he said suddenly as he began to plate up your breakfast. He walked into the dining room with your plate and you followed, sitting down where he had placed it. “Hopefully some food will help you to feel a little bit better.”
“I hope so!” You replied, immediately taking a bite out of the piping hot eggs on your plate. Sebastian never usually gave you this much food, but this morning you welcomed the loaded plate. You were starving.
“I must continue with my duties, but if you need anything don’t hesitate to find me,” Sebastian said before bowing and leaving you to eat your breakfast. You watched him leave the dining room as you chewed your food quickly, swallowing it almost immediately. You finished your breakfast within record time and took the plate into the kitchen to be washed. Bard was sitting on the counter tops, smoking a cigarette. When he saw you, he hopped down immediately with a sheepish smile on his face.
“Lady Y/N,” he said, taking a drag of his cigarette. “Good morning.”
“Good morning Bard,” you smiled, placing your plate into the sink. “How are you this morning?”
“I’m good,” he responded with a nod. He hesitated for a moment before saying, “I heard from Sebastian that you’re not feeling well. You should be in bed, resting up! You have a wedding to plan.”
“You know me Bard,” you chuckled. “I never rest easily.”
Bard laughed at your comment as he took another drag of his cigarette. “Well, I know Mey-Rin is upstairs if you’d like to go and see her.”
“Actually she’s just the lady I wanted to see,” you smirked. “Thanks Bard.”
“Not a problem my lady,” he said with a bow.
You smiled and left the kitchen, making your way up the stairs to find Mey-Rin. You checked all the rooms in the manor and found her in the last spare bedroom. She was making the bed as you walked in. “Hi Mey-Rin,” you smiled.
She jumped and turned around to see you, a goofy smile on her face. “You scared me, my lady! Yes you did!”
“I’m sorry!” You chuckled, watching as she placed her hand over her heart.
“It’s okay my lady, yes it is. Is there anything you need?” She asked as she placed the duvet on the bed.
You shook your head. “I just came to see if you needed any help.”
“That’s greatly appreciated my lady, yes it is,” Mey-Rin started. “But I’m all finished in this room.”
“Do you need help with anything else?” You asked as you tilted your head to the side.
Mey-Rin shook her head and sat down in a chair that was located in the corner of the room. “The only thing I have left to properly clean is Lord Phantomhive’s study.”
“I’ll help you!” You said immediately.
“No no! You should be resting my lady, yes you should!” Mey-Rin cried out.
You looked confused at her sudden concerned outburst, but thought nothing of it. “Don’t be silly Mey-Rin,” you smiled. “I’ve helped you clean Ciel’s study before.”
“Yes but this time it’s different,” she replied. As soon as the words left her lips, she threw her hands over her mouth.
“Why is it different?” You asked with scrunched eyebrows.
Mey-Rin sighed in defeat. “Sebastian told me you were pregnant, yes he did.”
“Pregnant?” You asked, eyebrows knitting together in confusion. You stumbled back lightly, shocked by her words. Your back hit the dresser that was pushed against the wall. “Pregnant?” You asked again.
Mey-Rin nodded and pushed her glasses up her nose. “You should be resting, yes you should!”
Realisation slowly sunk into your brain and suddenly you felt even sicker. You had only just realised that you had in fact missed a period. Your brain had been so focused on your upcoming wedding with Ciel that you hadn’t even thought about it. You placed a hand on your stomach. You had to see Sebastian, and fast! “Mey-Rin, I’ll be back to help you with Ciel’s study. I just need to do something,” you whispered before bolting out of the room. The maid stared after you, but didn’t stop you from doing whatever it was you were going to do.
“Sebastian!” You shouted down the halls of the manor. You had looked all over for him, but to no luck. So, you had just resorted to shouting his name.
“Yes, my lady?” A voice came from behind you.
You jumped but quickly composed yourself. “Sebastian. I must talk to you,” you looked around before whispering, “in private.”
Sebastian raised an eyebrow in suspicion before leading you into a spare bedroom. He shut the door behind you once you entered and leaned against the door. “What’s the matter my lady?” He asked.
Your eyes filled with tears, of happiness or confusion you weren’t sure, but eventually you managed to choke out. “I’m pregnant?”
Sebastian’s eyes remained calm. “I believe so, yes my lady.”
“How do you know?” You asked, taking a step closer to him.
“I can smell it,” he replied. You had recently learnt that Sebastian was, in fact, a demon. So, for him to be able to smell such things made sense to you. It was better than going to a doctor right now.
“Are you sure?” You asked.
“Positive,” Sebastian responded with a nod.
You began pacing up and down the large room with a hand on your stomach. “What am I going to do?” You asked with wide eyes. “Ciel and I can’t have a baby out of wedlock! We’ll be shunned!”
“My only solution, my lady, would be to have the wedding as soon as possible. A small wedding with a few friends and family. Then, after a few weeks, announce the pregnancy to everyone.”
You thought for a moment before nodding. “I must tell Ciel,” you mumbled.
“Do you require my assistance when you tell him?” Sebastian asked.
You shook your head. “No. No, I should be okay.”
“Very well then my lady,” Sebastian asked. “Shall we go now?” You wanted time to process this, but you also knew that time was of the essence right now. You had to do this fast and methodically. You nodded to Sebastian and he offered you his arm. You linked your arm with his and began to walk to Ciel’s study. Sebastian sensed your nervousness. “You need not worry about his response, my lady. I believe my master will be overjoyed.”
“Do you think so, Sebastian?” You asked as you reached the study. Sebastian just nodded and knocked on the study door.
“Who is it?” Ciel's voice came.
“It’s me, my lord. I come with Lady Y/N,” Sebastian answered through the door.
“Enter,” Ciel droned. As soon as you entered, you removed your arm from Sebastian’s and sighed. Ciel noted your apprehension and stood up from his desk, making his way over to you. Ciel placed his hands on your shoulders and massaged them slowly. “My love, what’s wrong? You look pale. Are you still feeling unwell?”
You nodded. “Actually Ciel it’s what I wanted to talk to you about.”
Ciel stepped back a little to get a good look at your face. His single eye meets yours, gazing deep into your orbs as if searching for something. “What is it?” He asked.
“I’m pregnant,” you blurted out. You weren’t sure exactly how to deliver the newly found out news, so you did what came to mind.
Ciel scrunched his eyebrows in confusion. “Pardon me?” He asked. He wanted to make sure he had heard you right.
“I’m pregnant,” you said, slower this time. You remained timid at the sight of Ciel’s face. He was showing no emotion but the second the news settled in, he smiled a little bit.
“Pregnant you say?” Ciel asked. “And how do you know this?” His gaze flickered to Sebastian who stood by your side.
“Sebastian,” you replied. “Mey-Rin told me that Sebastian had told her I was pregnant. So, I went to find Sebastian for myself to confirm it. He can smell it, my love.”
Ciel cupped your face with his hands and smiled lovingly at you. “This is wonderful news my dear.”
Your eyes widened in surprise. “You… You mean that?”
“Of course I do,” he whispered, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. “I want nothing more than to start a family with you Y/N.”
You let out a shaky breath of relief at his reaction. “I want that too Ciel,” you replied, wrapping your arms around his waist. Ciel let out a soft chuckle and wrapped his own arms around your neck, inhaling your scent. “But we need to get married as soon as possible. We cannot let people find out that we got pregnant out of wedlock.”
“I’m sure we can do this Y/N,” Ciel reassured you. “We can get married within the week my love. Just say the word and it’s yours. All of it.”
You smiled softly and felt tears of happiness well in your eyes. “I want this Ciel.”
“I want this too, my sweetheart,” Ciel responded. He straightened his back and pulled away from you before looking at Sebastian. “Come Sebastian, we have a wedding to plan for next week.”
“Yes my lord,” Sebastian nodded with a bow.
Ciel looked at you, his gaze soft. “Don’t worry about anything. I will plan everything and it will be perfect.”
“I trust you Ciel,” you smiled. You watched as Ciel left the room with Sebastian behind him, going off to plan your wedding. You placed a hand on your stomach and smiled softly to yourself. “You’re going to be so loved, little one,” you whispered, looking down at your belly. You sighed happily and went off to find Mey-Rin and tell her the news that you and Ciel would be getting married within the week. You were sure the servants of the Phantomhive Manor would be over the moon with the news of your pregnancy, and you already couldn’t wait to tell your family. You knew that this was where you were meant to be.
