what the haikyuu boys use as phone wallpapers

→  HINATA has a candid photo of the volleyball team resting in the gym. not all of them are looking at the camera, and most of them don’t even look good, but he loves it.

→  KAGEYAMA uses the first thing that comes up when he searches up “volleyball lockscreen” online. 

→  YAMAGUCHI has some aesthetic photo he found on pinterest, but it has no people in it because he thinks that’d be embarrassing.

→  TSUKISHIMA has an all black lock screen. it’s not even the default setting on his phone; he actively looked for a black photo to use as his background.

→  SUGA has a photo of a sunset that he took and particularly liked. might also have one of the live wallpapers where he can tap and see a collage of memories he’s put together in a video format.

→  DAICHI has a photo of a cute dog he saw outside of ukai’s store. he doesn’t know what the dog’s name is, but he says hi to its owner and pets it nearly every day.

→  KUROO has one of those motivational quote lockscreens of something embarrassing like “hustle all day.” regularly gets made fun of for it.

→  KENMA has something with a subtle reference to whatever he’s currently interested in, like a wallpaper of an anime or character.

→  BOKUTO has a selfie of him with his friends and teammates. it’s blurry and the colors probably make it incredibly difficult to read the time or notifications he gets, but he doesn’t care.

→  AKAASHI used a photo of his class schedule at the start of the semester so he could remember what he had to do each day, then found it so convenient that he never changed it.

→  USHIJIMA uses whatever his phone originally came with. he doesn’t even realize people change the wallpapers out.

→  TENDOU has that 2000s microsoft windows xp background of green grass and a blue sky. he thinks it’s funny when people don’t recognize it immediately.

→  ATSUMU has a picture of him and his teammates taken at his first national tournament after they’d won one of the preliminary matches.

• kuroo loves so many things about you, acne is honestly the least of his concerns. well, it’s not even a concern actually

• he’s a practical man, and acne is nothing more than clogged follicles so he’s really good at putting things into perspective

• because follicles won’t make him take his hands off of you! acne or not, he’ll keep his arm around your shoulders when you’re out together, just like he’ll keep on cuddling with you every night

• i mean- he’s the kind of boyfriend that would kiss you 24/7 if it was socially acceptable, so he’s obviously not going to waste any opportunity to be as close to you as he possibly can

if you’re a gamer—you’re in the lead since kenma uses video games as a way to bond with you and he’s also passionate about them so you two will definitely play together.

kenma may even be down to do any of the things you like as well so don’t assume he’ll automatically tell you ‘no’. he’s willing to try anything once especially if it’s something YOU are passionate about.

some assume the relationship would be difficult due to the fact pudding head here doesn’t seem like the type to keep a relationship for long/be interested in people romantically or really provide what a ‘real’ relationship needs but wrong~

in public; kenma has his hands busy with his games/phone so holding hands isn’t very often but he’ll still want to feel you near.

although if you both were somehow dragged by kuroo and the rest of the team to go to the beach, out to eat or something and kenma was somehow has a restriction about bring his games or pulling out his phone then he’ll most likely decide to hold your hand while mumbling how he can’t wait to go home with you.

he’ll also let you play/braid his hair but once his team comes around— he unbraids/stops you since he doesn’t like when the team makes fun of him for being soft.

as for private— he seems like the type that enjoys holding you on his lap while playing his games on the computer.

having your head rest on the crook of his neck, either busy with something on your phone or drifting off to sleep; he finds comfort in that.

extra points if you play with his hair and if he isn’t wearing his headset and you decide to whisper all the things you love about him then he’ll blush like crazy.

kenma may even tell you he loves you while thanking you for loving him when he knows you could do better if you wanted to (although you remind him you can’t)

if he’s laying down on his/your bed then you could be boxed in while watching him play.

overall kenma won’t initiate much of the affection between you two but he won’t stop you from touching on him. just as long as you understand his limits.

on to nicknames.

kenma likes calling you kitten for sure and it’s the number one nickname (and your name in his phone)

but he’ll also call you baby and pudding. occasionally he’ll combine the two—making you his baby pudding.

can definitely see him buying matching headphones/sets with you and maybe a keychain accessories that may be a cat or favorite game character.

speaking of cats— he even brought a cat and named it after the ship name his team created for you both.

kenma also has pictures of you both and the cat which is also his lockscreen (his homescreen is just of you though)

now when it comes to dates... kenma may not take you on super romantic dates but do except him to take you to the arcade, game cafes, cat cafes or just out for food in general.

sometimes he pushes himself out of his comfort zone to take you out somewhere different and that you may enjoy.

kenma understands that going to a repeated spot can be tiring so he makes this effort to switch things up to keep you happy.

bonus: thanks to you, kenma doesn’t worry too much about how people may view him.

his main focus is how YOU view him.

one of those intimate late nights, he’ll be holding you close and question what you even see him due to the fact he understands himself and the habits of not wanting interact with others/compare them to games which can be odd at times.

A soft nerd and that is a hill I will die on

Tetsurou is a strong guy and isn’t afraid to show that, he will manhandle you into a cuddle if you’re tired or refuse to stop working

Lies side by side, facing each other and tucks your head into his chest

His arms are always around you in a tight-ish hold because you’re literally a teddy bear to him

Mumbles about his day into the top of your head or just some random thing he and Kenma were talking about earlier that day

He rarely does something else while you cuddle, just lays there with you in his arms and maybe talks sometimes

You don’t think he listens to you when you ramble, partially because half your face is in his chest, but he’ll bring stuff up you say like 2 weeks later and surprise you

When he falls asleep, he unintentionally moves you with him and you guys usually end up with his head on your chest or you laying completely on top of him

You always somehow end up face to face at some point and he leaves little kisses on your nose to tell you when it’s time to get up

You never want to though, so any plans he has is usually planned an hour later than intended because he doesn’t want to move from your soft cuddles
