-Kenma, the type of husband to end up doing all the housework if he notices that you're having a hard day. he knows that you most likely wouldn't want to talk about what's bugging you off the bat, so he takes this time to make life a big easier for you before you're ready to let him hear you out.

-Kenma, the type of husband to enjoy going out on late night errands whether its to pick up a few ingredients for a dish or a little sweet treat like ice cream. he simply likes going out at night more than in the day since it feels like its just you two awake due to the fact the streets are clear and the dark sky engulfs the world above your heads.

-Kenma, the type of husband to make sure you're fed properly even though he might be eating instant noodles everyday. he likes watching you eat and stuff your face full because the delight that spreads on your smile makes him happy enough to feel good. he'd also peel you fruits or make you a snack if you're up late working on something or if he's generally making himself something to eat.

-Kenma, the type of husband to soft launch you on his stream. for instance, leaving something that's yours somewhere where his stream can see and visibly know that that item isn't his. he'd most likely keep your relationship private to keep his personal life outside his career out of respect for you as well unless you want to go public!

-Kenma, the type of husband to probably come home with random gifts he bought because he'd think you would like it or that it reminded him of you. these gifts could also be snacks that you like or want to try.

-Kenma, the type of husband to make your dates totally random. this can scale from an at-home dinner date to a trip out of town. it's not just the thought of a "date" that excites him, but the fact that it's just you two with your own alone time for the whole day to have fun.

-Kenma, the type of husband to take you to places you would show him. this can be like showing Kenma a tik tok of a souffle pancake place and he surprises you on your next date to try souffle pancakes even if he doesn't like it, but he knows you want to try it with him so he'd eat it anyway since it's you.

-Kenma, the type of husband to enjoy a lazy sunday with you on the couch. preferrably under a warm cozy blanket while watching some type of movie or show, with some popcorn on the side. he'd think its fun that you wanna play games with him too and analyzes every move you make to see if you actually are enjoying the game to know if it's time to switch to a different game.

-Kenma, the type of husband to let you comb his hair with your fingers. he doesn't really care if you style his hair for him either as long as he isn't going out the house with some goofy style. moreover, he loves feeling your fingers run through his long strands of hair, it makes him feel more at peace and sleepy.

-Kenma, the type of husband to enjoy eating out rather than at home... unless its your cooking. the dishes you make for him don't compare to the take out he buys all the time, he loves how comforting it tastes and cozy it feels to receive something delicious cooked by the one he loves the most.

Ushijima is very good with distinguishing tastes. Like he can tell you if a drink is or isn't diet (combine this with diabetic tendou?? for the ultimately sweet (pun intended) moment of him telling the waitress that his boyfriends drink isn't diet and that he'd like another, please) also this makes him a very good candidate for developing chocolate recipes

Kuroo and Kenma learned some simple sign language to communicate without words (comes in handy when Kenma gets overwhelmed at a party, for example). Sometimes, they use it early in the mornings because neither of them are early birds and get grumpy without caffeine.

Kageyama has a very sensitive sense of smell. He will outright tell Hinata if he changed his shampoo because he can smell it (and because most of the time doesn't like it).

The Miya twins are actually really decent singers if you get some alcohol into them. They are also really good at whistling (it annoys the hell out of their partners sometimes).

Sakusa can mimic people really well (he's perceptive and picks up on their habits and speech patterns really quickly) and his impression of Atsumu has made for quite a few scenarios where their team cannot stop laughing because of how good it is.

Kita can sleep practically anywhere if he's exhausted, he just chooses not to for his own dignity (until he moves in with Aran anyways, who finds him asleep spread out on the floor multiple times).

Suna has a very dextrous tongue, i.e., he can tie a cherry stem in his mouth (do with that information what you want, honestly)

Hirugami can mimic certain animal sounds really well and sometimes does so almost out of reflex (maybe a verbal stim?) when he treats animals at his job (i.e. he'll "mreow" right back at a cat).

Akaashi can wiggle his ears and nose and does it sometimes when he's bored.

Bokuto can walk on his hands when he does a handstand (I mean, overall, I think that he could be very good at gymnastics)

some safe-for-work headcanons regarding how they might of gone about having sex for the first time for some of my favouritr haikyuu ships:

daisuga: look you know these bitches had it scheduled. not like a meticulous planned thing, but it was definitely something they knew was going to happen in advance. Like they talked about it, agreed they both wanted it, and then 3 weeks later Suga's parents go away for the weekend and they know like a solid week in advance that their "hang out" on Saturday evening is basically exclusively so they can have sex. They're very prepared. This also probably makes that week of training super annoying for the team bc they cant figure out why their captains are being SO overly giggly like you are seventeen/eighteen year old men wtf is going on.

iwaoi: i've always thought they were probably way more nervous than any of their friends assumed and definitely did not have sex as early as people thought. like mattsun and makki both constantly tease them in a way that insinuates they're actively having sex but they probably didnt actually do it until like... the last few months of high school. They were both just nervous! Iwa was very afraid of rushing things and doing it "wrong," and Oikawa wasnt even sure what doing it "right" would be so they had like 6 false-starts before they actually managed it.

ushiten: dorm living is not condusive to intimacy so when for the first time in like 8 months since they started dating that they have a confirmed evening with a locked dorm alone they end up making out for just a crazy amount of time. Tendou is too nervous to actually move anything forward because he's too anxious over the possibility of rejection but he keeps making these weird half-insinuations like "haha I cant believe nobody's going to be back for another four hours... we could do anything and get away with it... isnt that so funny... like nobody would know if we were making out or having sex or just reading a book... haha... isnt that crazy... me and you..." and he's all weird and twitchy about it until Ushijima tells him he doesn't think the idea of them having sex is crazy at all and then it is on immediately.

kuroken: highkey, kuroo probably lays out like a whole romantic, corny ass evening with candles and rose petals and is prepared to have a whole long conversation about being "ready" and Kenma just sort of rolls his eyes and is like "have you finished talking? this is Too Much. I need you to understand this is Too Much. Oh my god I love you but WOW." (it works anyway and Kenma is sufficient wooed).

tsukkiyama: this one might be a little out there but I genuinely think they're the most likely to have it happen by accident, or in a spontaneous moment of opportunity. Like they both intend to just take advantage of the empty house with only a bit of making out and then suddenly they're losing their clothes and it's like "we'll have a conversation about it tomorrow, im sure."

kagehina: okay this one is more stupid but I imagine after they've been dating a while Hinata is like "you know what, im ready to take the next step" but Kageyama cannot read ppl so Hinata's somewhat obvious attempts at seduction go entirely over his head, and Hinata is getting increasingly frustrated and dramatic and trying really really hard to get Kageyama to realize what he wants and it ends up causing a fight between them because Kageyama thinks Hinata is being weird and Hinata thinks Kageyama is being intentionally distant and eventually Kageyama blows up and is like "Oh my god if you want to break up or something just say so!!!" and Hinata is like "Oh my GOD I dont want to break up with you I want to have sex with you!!!" and of course that shuts everyone up and unfortunately Yachi is probably also there and wants to die.

I came across the post of someone who said that they liked the kagehina but as a background couple with no problems, and this post opened my eyes on myself.

because it's going to be I think 5 or 6 years that I've been watching haikyuu, and kagehina and is one of my favorite couples but in all the AUs I've done their always in the background or when they are the main couple, they don't have a problem.

Well 95 percent of the time

And my main and personal headcanon of the Kagehina is that they starts dating at the end of their first year, goes abroad to get married when they turn 18, lives a long distance relationship, meets up after Brazil and starts living together.

And that's it.

That's why in 90 percent of my AUs, they're their friends' relationship therapists.

Ushijima : Kageyama Do you have any advice for me to make long-distance relationships work?

Atsumu : Shouyo!!! Omi doesn't want to take me seriously when I tell him I love him, what do I do?!

Daichi : Kageyama, how you and Hinata had managed to start living together without any problem? I heard that all the couples argued when they move together.

Kenma : Eurgh Kuroo annoys me so much these days, he comes sticking to me all the time, can't he understand that I want to be alone?

And their advice is just super basic /Obvious, but still works

Kageyama : Often send message even if it's a stupid photo, poses hours for daily call, and trust?

Hinata : Have you tried to have a heart-to-heart conversation with him?

Kageyama : We share all the tasks of the house, and when something bothers us we talk about it?

Hinata : Did you tell him that you want to be alone?

None of the people who know them in high school can believe that they are the ones who have the best relationship, and that they are the ones who are asked for advice.

Especially tsukishima (He asks them for advice too)

Bonus

Another of my headcanon is that they are among the first to buy a house, because their friends are always in their houses. So, when they buy a big house, everyone participates a little bit in the purchase because they are at theirs home half of the time.

The three of you were childhood friends, and since today you are very close and even went to the same school! And when they joined the volleyball club, you signed up to be the club manager, as a way to stay close to them, since you had a little crush on the two of them.

But little did you know that they also hid a small crush on you, and on each other as well. And on the day of discovery, the three of you agreed to be in a relationship.

Few people know about your relationship, so you don't usually show much affection in public. But when you hug in public, many people think it's because the three of you are childhood friends.

But make no mistake, you are extremely affectionate when it's just the three of you.

Kenma is usually the main target of your hugs, because he is shyer, his reactions are always the cutest!

One time you and Kuroo got together to give Kenma a big surprise hug while he was playing a game, and it ended up that the three of you accidentally fell to the ground with the impact (and even then you continued lying on the ground because the position you were hugging him was too comfortable)

The three of you love to cuddle when it's cold, because that means you'd probably have a movie marathon night at your house! There are always several favorite snacks for everyone and several blankets and pillows to make it even more cozy.

And when you're watching the movie, you almost always make a sort of cuddle sandwich in your bed, with you and Kuroo hugging Kenma who is between you two. He always says that you and Kuroo are too clingy with him, but don't let that fool you, he really likes it and even sleeps because he is so comfortable in your arms.

But don't expect it to always be as calm and silent as in those moments, because from time to time hugging can also be quite chaotic.

Kuroo has a habit of fidgeting and changing positions while hugging one of you all the time, so in case you made your bed, I'm sorry but it's going to be all messed up the second he sits on it. While hugging you and Kenma, he also would babbling about some curiosity he saw on the Internet or talking about some gossip he heard in class.

And just as they love hugging you, you love hugging them too!

Kenma's favorite type of hug is when he's playing something on his console and you're cuddled up next to him, with your head resting on his shoulder.

Kuroo's favorite type of hug is when you give him surprise hugs. Silently approach him and give him a big hug from behind and this boy will immediately hug you back.

Kenma loves to hug you when you're lying down, so he can sleep while being comfortable next to you.

Kuroo likes to give you really tight hugs, which most of the time he does to provoke you on purpose. He would crush you and hold you so you wouldn't leave, and he would only let you leave if it was something urgent (only if meteors were falling on Earth).

You guys love to cuddle each other, the feeling of comfort it gives each of you when you are with each other is irreplaceable.

my haikyuu ship headcanons (halloween edition)

Kagehina

They fight over everything, and halloween was no exception. Kageyama wanted to go as a baseball player and a referee. Hinata wanted to go as Ariel and Prince Eric. Guess who won.

IwaOi

Iwazumi didn’t really care what they went as, he didn’t really have a ton of excitement when it came to holiday stuff. Oikawa on the other hand, was all in. He put up decorations, bought candy for trick-or-treaters, and made their costumes. They went as Ken and Barbie.

DaiSuga

Both of them are like corny parents during the holidays. They both get excited and they encourage everyone to dress up. They put up decorations and watch movies with the team, although some are more compliant than others. (looking at you, tsukki) They went as a sailor and a mermaid.

Bokuaka

Akashi really, *really* didn’t want to dress up. Bokuto did not care. Bokuto went as Lloyd from ninjago, akashi went as ‘himself in a scarf’.

KuroKen

Kenma surprisingly didn’t mind dressing up. Kuroo was thrilled when he learned this. The two have a tradition of going to spirit halloween and laughing at the dumb costumes every year. They both went as cats. (obviously)

UshiTen

Tendou really is in his element during halloween. Ushijima just does whatever makes tendou happy. The two of them sit around in their room the week before, showing each other costumes ideas. (well, tendou shows ushijima costumes. ushijima shows tendou memes from 2017 and Tendou pretends to laugh) They went as a doctor and a nurse.

kenma has a really hard time when kuroo goes to college. not because he misses him (i mean he does but he’s a big boy, he can handle it. and they text like all the time it’s ok) the problem is that kuroo goes shopping. he’s suddenly uniform free, no school no volleyball no nothing. and he finds out about cargo pants. and tank tops probably. and rings. oh god the rings, kenma is sobbing somewhere in tokio. he also goes to the gym now that he doesn’t have practice every day.

all this is terrible for kenma because his boyfriend is really hot and also a little fucking shit that sends him pictures at the worst possible time. does kuroo know kenma's schedule???? of course. does he use that knowledge to send him post gym sweaty selfies and criminal outfit checks when he's in class??? of fucking course. hand pictures when he’s at practice??? you can bet.

and kenma opens every picture 0,2 seconds after its sent, like an idiot. and his answers are always some variarion of fuck i hate you kill yourself or something why would you send me this you look ugly by the way. he's blushing. and kuroo is in his apartment kicking his feet and giggling because he KNOWS.

lev silently thanks kuroo everytime he has the pleasure of seeing kenma put his phone down suspiciously fast with a red face (that is NOT because of volleyball) at every water break. he texts yaku about it everytime because is the funniest thing ever for him (and he can’t really laugh at practice because he’s scared kenma will kill him)

writing a KuroKen fic with a mini kenma/tsukishima/kageyama friend group and i’m really obsessed with the dynamic now (for the context of my fic, yamaguchi and hinata are traveling so the 3 of them are forced to spend time together)

but i just realized its even funnier to think abt yamaguchi and hinata coming home to their boyfriends actually wanting to hang out… like the first time yamaguchi heard tsukishima say “hey, let’s go see kageyama and hinata,” he probably thought he was having a stroke

or kageyama casually saying “i think i’m gonna hang out with tsukishima after work” and hinata just looks at him like he’s lost his mind
