Yesterday I went to the movies

I bought the tickets for me and my friends in the self-service machines since I don't like dealing with actual people.

I did it fast, and then proceeded to leave... or so I thought.

Right besides me was a couple struggling to use another one of these machines, and since it was a busy night there was no staff available to help them.

So they asked me if I could help them.

And there you have me in my best attempt at a movie cashier.

"Which movie are you going to see? What show time? How many seats? These are the available seats, please choose the ones you like. Would you like to buy your snacks at this time? Do you have a membership card? Please insert your credit card. Please insert your PIN number. Here are your tickets. Thank you for your purchase."

Then I bolted outta there!

Timaeus returns from the city and brings you another package. This time it has o̸̟͎̿̄̾s̴̙̿m̸̞̣͇̆̇͌ȁ̸̢̏n̷̝̭̻͐̚t̵̻̔ḫ̵̣̍u̷͓͒̕s̸̢̆ ̷̬͘t̷̠̣̂̊̌͜e̷̖̍̈̌ạ̶̐̃ inside.

"What's with the surge of letters coming to your house, Albedo?" he asks.

The alchemist ignores the apprentice's question and opens the letter, leaving the packet of t̵͎̫̙̀͑̋ͅe̸̤͊̍́̃a̸̖̬̍̈́͂̊ ̷̢̣̞̘͝ḻ̴̙̮̬̎̈́͌e̵̡̅a̵͉͂́ṿ̵̨̙̅̀ě̵̙̿̏š̷͙͎̪͕̒̑͠ abandoned on the desk.

Rin-- I don't know if this will ever reach you, but I must try. I won't lie to you: we're getting worried and desperate. I had to force-feed Z̷͚̱̟̼̯̑̉h̷̨̕o̵̬͑́̚n̸̮̘̭̲̉͆g̸̫̞̳͊͊̀l̶̬̜͔͓͓̟̎̔͛̕i̴̗͕̖̩̿̔̆̚͝ a few times now since he wouldn't eat regularly otherwise... and he wouldn't eat anything but bland porridge. He misses you a lot. I hope you're fine with me and H̸̨͍̼͎̅a̶̠͈̞̦͐̐i̴̦̫̪̗̻̿̉̓̿̎t̷̰̾̂͗͜h̶̠̘̽̀̕͠ͅạ̴̛̞͙̩̎̍m̴̛͖̥̤͛͗͛̾ cuddling his small, crying dragon form to sleep... Turning to the packet, Albedo finds a note slipped between the bindings. The handwriting in it is different from the one in the letter.

soft footsteps and slight creaks of wooden flooring echo in the dim hallway.

the figure stops right in front of a door, bare hand turning the doorknob and pushing the slab of wood. soft snores entered his senses, and he gazes upon the two snuggling on the bed, both on their sides facing the door.

the same footsteps reach the bedside before it stops. the tranquil atmosphere stretches without any visible movements from everyone and everything in the bedroom... until the figure lifted his hand, which was holding a rectangular object.

the device within his hand lets out a low click, and his other hand grabs the thin sheet it produced. a few minutes pass in full silence before the figure exits the scene, leaving the sleeping ones undisturbed.

I was ambitious and wanted to do like. 9 frames but scrapped the idea mostly because I ran out of expression/pose ideas 3 frames in, haha.

or maybe him kneading biscuits on your tummy while you're having tummy pains coughcoughperiodcrampscoughcough

I really love your art and since your name reminds me of the macchiato coffee I associate your drawings with the smell of ground coffee.

Sometimes I randomly tear myself up thinking about the absolute hell Okabe puts himself through saving Kurisu.

I don't say "Kurisu and Mayuri" because he doesn't have a choice in saving Mayuri because he has internalized a duty to her. He does have a choice in saving Kurisu and does it out of love despite her insisting that he doesn't have to.

Luckily, all it took was a mere thousands of time leaps, a few jumps through attractor fields, one dystopia, one hellscape, getting stabbed, a pandemic that wasn't really a pandemic, severe depression, and drawing the attention of two probable psychopaths.

At least it seems like Reading Steiner didn't give Steins;Gate Okabe the memories of Beta Okabe? Or they're two different guys? Never really worked out how that worked.
