I figured that since I archived the lists from the other forum, I might as well do the same with the new forum in case something happens.  This is probably more for me than anything else.  The original thread is here and was organized by Jexhius.

Incidentally, the only show in the top 10 I came close to finishing was Girl’s Last Tour.  But I think I didn’t even finish 10 shows from last year unfortunately, but I think I can appreciate the top ten for what it is - a few shounen shows, a couple of prestige shows, and a couple of... well, let’s just call them “popular” shows.  MMO Junkie’s director being a Neo Nazi also probably puts a damper on the show that makes its inclusion here someone anachronistic at this point.

Of the shows in the over all top 20, Scum’s Wish and Owarimonogatari were the ones I finished and the fact that they didn’t make the top 10 makes sense to me.  Scum’s Wish being very aggressively off-putting, like Flowers of Evil before it, and Owarimonogatari being the billionth iteration of the monogatari franchise.

Here’s hoping people watch Yamato 2202 next year, and that Funimation licenses it.

No real surprises here either with the top 5, nor with how the order of the top three turned out.  I still think the Kancolle movie should have made it.  It really shouldn’t be as good as it is.
