WELL... it's a very well-written, animated, and orchestrated piece of media. Please read its DTDD page first bc from the moment it starts to the second it ends it is an absolutely Tragic story: https://www.doesthedogdie.com/media/15970 That aside, I like it because it explores some themes that not a lot of anime do (like male victims of assault, human trafficking, street gangs) and knows how to intercut comedy with the heavier scenes and plotlines just the right amount. It has a unique style that I didn't like at first but eventually found it suits the show really well. The characters are interesting and I find that there's few that I truly hate, most of them are complex and show a side of humans that most of us can relate to, if even just a little bit.

The most prominent aspect that made me love it is (I guess general spoilers for plot but) the main character Ash deems himself a ruthless monster from the crimes he's committed, sullied by the abuse he has suffered, and unworthy of any love he was denied as a child. Then he meets this guy Eiji by chance, and Eiji, after only learning about how powerful and influential of a gang leader Ash is, treats him so normally. He tries to protect him, he tries to save him, he tries to get Ash to see himself as someone who's worthy of safety and happiness and peace.

I don't miss high school, but i miss the part of high school when I'd walk into my english or creative writing class and there'd just be a photo projected on the board. It was five, ten, sometimes fifteen minutes of writing based on a stool in a coffee shop, or a path in a forest, or a brick building or something, and yeah none of the shit I wrote then was good because i was 15 16 17 and in desperate need of therapy because every goddamn thing i wrote (and turned in!) was about how i wanted to kill myself, but god. There was something about forcing myself to find sadness in a teddy bear clutched in a child's hand, something about being unable to distract myself entirely from my own feelings. ten years later i stare at empty word documents, at the little cursor blinking again and again and again until i look away, and i tell myself i'll just put music on, that will fix this. so i spend twenty minutes searching for the perfect song, the exact inspiration to channel out enough of what im feeling but not too much, too much and i'll crawl under the covers and do absolutely nothing. so there it is, the song that will fix. it. but first let me make sure my mindless mobile game is set, because if i don't make sure it's being productive somehow then im just wasting my time entirely, aren't i? ten minutes of that means the song is over, so i should find a new one, and for once, yeah, it feels easy. back to my blank document blinking again again again and nothing is going to fix me, is it? and i think about being ten years younger and writing shit i thought was beautiful and poignant butwas just a cry for help, everyday words on paper i was as close to proud of as i could get, and i think about 200 words of stories that will never see the light of day because i love them but im ashamed of them because they're not good enough. i don't miss high school but i miss the part of high school when i thought, sometimes, my words were good enough.

He wakes up to two things - pain, and the sense of someone hovering over him. His hand shoots out on instinct, circling someone's wrist as he jerks up from where he lays.

You blink back at him, surprised but not uneasy. It's strange, to be faced with something other than fear when he's glaring at you, when he is who he is. "Can I have my hand back?"

Scaramouche releases it, trying to make sense of the situation. He'd been… On the run. Yes. The Tsaritsa certainly didn't like that he'd taken a Gnosis - she'd even been sending the other Harbingers after him to drag him and the gnosis back. Childe had gotten fairly close to succeeding this time. He'd managed to get away eventually, but the fight had left him injured, and then…

Then?

"Who are you?"

"The person who saved your life. It's dangerous to be passing out in the middle of the forest, you know? You're very lucky that I found you."

"It's not like I did it on purpose," …So he'd passed out. How weak. He ks supposed to be above being so weak, especially after- Wait. "Where are my things?"

"Table next to you."

Ah. He could've figured that out himself… The gnosis was safe, though. You don't look like the sort of person who would even know what it was, so he supposed there had never been much risk that you'd taken it. You're still suspicious, though. He would be a fool to blindly trust you. That in mind, Scaramouche tries to get up. He should be going.

…Not that he gets far, almost collapsing as soon as he stands. You sigh, gently pushing him to sit down again. You should be grateful he's in too much pain to snap at you not to touch him so casually.

"Lay back down. You're going to aggravate your injuries," You speak to him the way one would speak to a difficult patient. It's irritating. He's hardly a normal, human patient. He certainly shouldn't be treated like one.

"You can't order me around-"

"I didn't pick you up off the ground and fix you only for you to undo all the work I've done. Lay down."

Scaramouche huffs indignantly, but finally lays back down. He can't exactly go back out in his condition. As unfortunate as it is, he's still reliant on your care. For now. "…Why did you even help me, anyway."

"Why wouldn't I?"

"You don't know me."

"Of course I do. You're a harbinger, aren't you?" You press a glass to his lips. "Drink this."

You don't allow him the chance to complain about how he can hold it himself. It's bitter. Herbal. Medicine, then. "If you know that-" Not that it was exactly true anymore, but there was no reason to tell you that he'd betrayed the Fatui, "-it makes even less sense. Tell me, do you enjoy putting yourself in danger? Taking me in is an awful decision on your part," he tells you, after you pull the glass away.

"What, are you worried about my safety?" Your smile is wry. "You're hardly the first dangerous patient I've had. Regardless, no good doctor would leave someone injured."

He scoffed. Ridiculous. No one was that nice for no reason. Clearly you wanted something out of him. "What are you after?"

"I want you to get better and be on your way."

"That's it?"

"That's it. Any other questions?"

Scaramouche's eyes narrow. "You're not interested in what I am at all? You have to have gotten a good enough look at my body to know I'm not human."

"Only if you want to tell me," Your words seem honest enough. It's odd. Dottore had been obsessed with studying him. Shouldn't you, as another doctor, be more curious? "You're close enough to human that I can treat you. That's all that really matters."

"…Hm. Fine. Have it your way," He settles into the bed. Even if you're lying, he can just kill you if you try anything he doesn't like. He may be injured, but he's still more than capable of striking you down.

"I'm glad you're cooperating," You check his bandages as he lays there, hands careful and eyes attentive. Despite how wary he feels, some part of him relaxes under your care. You're not nearly as cold or clinical as he's used to from, well, the only other person who has ever treated him medically. Even if it's annoying that you don't seem intimidated by him at all. "All good. I'll leave you to rest."

You drift out of the room, leaving him alone with his thoughts once more.

…He guessed there were worse people to be stuck with…

Gojo is a stoic angry man in front of everyone but y/n has never seen him angry or at his peak. He does not want to show that side to y/n because he wants her to only look at things that make her happy.

After Gojo had developed his six eyes he constantly kept an eye on y/n and often ended up in infirmary because of it. Instead of stopping it he worked harder to increase his endurance.

Once he saw via six eyes that few people were harassing y/n and cat calling her but she seemed to tired to engage with them so Gojo took away their voices and their di*ks.

Y/n once found a basket of pomegranates on her door and was shocked to see it as previous day the seller had told her that there are no pomegranates in the entire kingdom because of import issues.

Once on a battlefield y/n fainted and Gojo was about to go and carry her to safety when Niko stepped in and helped her. That’s when Gojo found y/n’s necklace and treasured it.

Gojo was taught many skills as a child but painting was something he picked up on his own because once at a fair a painter refused to paint y/n and since then Gojo made a painting of her on his and hers every birthday.

Y/n remembered Gojo because of his eyes and when she saw him at the ceremony she felt a connection but she ignored it.

Gojo gets shy around y/n a lot but he covers it up by fooling around with her.

Gojo hates and I mean absolutely hates Niko!!! He does not want Niko to live!! He purposely appointed Niko to be the royal guard of the most annoying council member.

When Gojo is changing Y/n has at times sneaked glances at him. She is always enamoured by how fit he is. He knows she is looking so he flexed extra hehe.

-Don't be fooled she has the cahotique energy of a kid who would smash head firts into the mudd, roll on their back and laugh

-She has the most adorable puffy cheeks

-she likes to hum songs

-She loves nature, she loves her grandparents, she play the cello.

-You follow her in her character journey of growing up and one of her arc is about gaining confidence.

-She has shiny hair ( no it's not style art, her hair quirck is that it's sort of gold and shiny, you can see the reflect on her sprite )

-When she has a deep blush her nose turn red.

-her dream job as a kid is to be santa and her Halloween costume is a santa costume

-She's a feminine and sweet character who is complexe and interessing. I note it as an argument because it really nice to have a love interest who is sweet but not the naive cliché type of sweet.

-If you both have a crush on her / say you are bff you can have a bff romance ok, YOU CAN HAVE THE SWEETEST CHILDHOOD FRIEND TO LOVER OK.

-She'll treat you right

The Letter “X” | The Latin Alphabet

• the way you pronounce it is even cooler! It can be a /x/, a /ks/, a /z/, a /s/, and probably more!

• also, the X pattern is in so many different languages, designs and symbols!

• here are some examples of X off the top of my head: Jolly Roger, a symbol for “incorrect”, railroad crossing signs, multiplication, addition, radioactivity, dead cartoon characters, alcohol, architecture, the X-men, and buried treasure!

Submitted this because, technically, letters are characters. Just not ones from a piece of media. I’d say the Alphabet Lore series as an excuse but I’ve never watched it so…

Do you think the fandom finds you annoying?

Is this an implication, by any chance? Either way...

1. There are a couple of T9S stans who don't like to hear dissent, at all. In general, I've had issues with those who can't tolerate dissent. Debate is a natural part of life. Get over it.

2. There are two others who constantly send hate anons whenever I bring up T9S. I know who you both are, so you're not fooling anyone. I'm positive that one of you has been sending asks to others complaining about the fandom and how much it sucks. Stop starting drama. I've been trying to avoid it all, bc other than for moral reasons (then I'll say something), I wholly intend to be Switzerland.

So, yeah. Maybe like 10-20% of the fandom finds me annoying. I really don't care much about T9S at this point, other than KS and DJR being part of it. More people need to be aware of what they did, and they both need to gtfo.
