⚠️ SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 46 OF OUAW ⚠️

After their defeat against the Jabberwock, Frost confronts Kremy about the way he gave up on fighting after seeing Gideon down, and the feelings that he refuses to face

F: This forest isn't mentioned in any book it seems... Maybe we should head north, what do yout think Kremy ?

K: ...

F: Kremy ?

K: ...

F: ... He would have wanted you to live, you know.

K: Beg your pardon ?

F: Gideon. He would have wanted you to keep fighting.

K: I don't know what you're talking about Frost -

F: I was the last one standing Kremy.

I saw everything. And I felt it... Not in my mind but in my heart, when you lost it. Your... will to live.

K: Frost, listen -

F: No Kremy, you listen. Once Gideon was... gone, you stopped fighting. You just... gave up.

I kind of want to see Kremy writhing with guilt

I want to see him guilty for what he has done to others, I want to see him filled with cold, choking guilt for having emotions. Everyone in the Krew has had it rough, Gideon with the train, Frost with the order, Torbek with literally everything. Kremy also has had it bad, with Garou. But it was his fault.. he CHOSE to work for him, practically begged for it. I want Kremy to be painfully aware of that, not because he would have done anything different but because his suffering was a choice. I love reading about Kremy having a terrible childhood but I kind of like to imagine that his homelife was just ok. Sure his dad was absent and maybe his relationship with his brother wasn't the best but his Mom and Meemaw tried their best to keep him afloat. He always had food on the table and at least a roof above his head. So if his life was decent and is still considerably not horrible why does he feel empty, sad, and unfufilled? Why does he deserve to cry himself to sleep when the rest of his buddies went through so much worse and still hold their heads high? Would their lives have gotten better faster if they had never met him? When they all sit around the fire, sharing stories and companionship in their shared trauma, I want him to feel apart from them, with something almost akin to jealousy at that they share something he could never understand. And I want him to feel guilty for that. So very guilty. But he swallows it down and pretends that he isn't. Kremy Lecroux is a selfish man, a sinner, he doesn't feel guilt. And if he does, well noone has to know, and he can just sit down next to his little family and offer everyone another cup of coffee and move on. Until the freezing little ball of guilt inside of him decides to rear it's head and it's just rinse and repeat inside of his head.

I don't know if this is logical in any way but I felt like yapping :D

But I would love to hear your thoughts about witchlight in general. I would love to pick the brain of someone who went in 100% unspoiled (or close to that at least)

My general thoughts on witchlight!!! It fucking slaps first of all. It's like cocaine to me rn, I love me some conmen and some circuses, but I know they don't stay at the Witchlight for very long. I'm very suspicious of Mr. Witch and Mr. Light! Are they doing weird bugbear experiments!! Related to that I miss torbek and I know very bad things will happen to him even if I don't know totally what they are, but I DO know that they're experimental in nature and I'm fucking scared for my guy!!!

I know there's a guy named the king of hearts? And that I think he's evil? There's something called the other and I don't really know what that is, I think it shapeshifts into the party? maybe??? I know they go on a cooking show at one point! I know Twig exists, she seems super cute! Idk how she comes into play though! And I know Bad Things Happen inevitably and uhhh. I know episode 46 (?) is SCARY apparently but. That's about it that I know!! :D I'm having such a good time!!!! I'm on ep9 because I've been. Busy as hell.

This chart didn't have a good option for the pajamas because to me, Godeon just wears a tshirt + boxers at most, and Margot is a comfy soft extra clothes girl. Kremy is a fancy robe guy tho I know it. Also the mentally ill category was rlly hard because I think all of them have problems in such wildly different ways that trying to qualify it made me brain hurt.

Today’s episode! Torbek,The other, Wally and Home Dynamics ft. Kremy

(The other might not be 100% accurate because I’m only on episode 9)

Ok so Torbek and Wally individually are both creatures who just want to simply be in the same room as the person they’re hanging out with. Let’s start with that. Two being who simply want to enjoy the others company. Torbek says he’s going to get something to drink from Howdy’s? Wally asks if he can come with. Wally’s painting in the art studio? Torbek’s doodling right beside him. Parallel Play kings! One is not seen without the other unless they have plans with another person.

Their dynamic at first would be very rickety at first because Torbek is a ball of anxiety and you never know what Wally’s thinking about at any given time. I don’t know how long this area of the frendship would last truly but i feel like it would be short lived. Like the first couple of interactions Torbek is very anxious while Wally is just vibing like @:3. Until Torbek eventually realizes “oh this is just how Wally is. The stareing is platonicly affectionate and not because he doesn’t like me. He considers me a friend. He considers me a friend!”

I imagine Home would be very kind to Torbek and would love having him stay with them. Torbek would definitely slowly pick up morse code the more him and home attempted to talk.

Side tangent: Wally and Home probably heard a lot of stories about Carnival Lecroux from Torbek and both became a bit aware of Kremy’s “business practices”. Wally would act about the same around him but would not let him in Home. Not in like a “leave” kinda way it would be more of a “I think you need to leave” kinda way. If Kremy got angry, that’s when Home would get involved. I think they would still see the good in Kremy they just wouldn’t want him in Home for Torbek’s sake.

Also after careful consideration, yes Wally would show Torbek behind the fourth wall because A.) It be funny B.) Torbek deserves to know that people out here love and appreciate him C.) a surprise tool that can help us later

Honestly I’m struggling with Wally and the other’s dynamic. I’ll have to come back to him. In my brain, the other is like “dude I’ve killed people. I am evil and bad” and Wally seems nonchalant about it from his perspective which confuses him. Also, i feel like Wally would easily be able to tell the difference between the two.

The Other: Ok, How can you tell it me? It starting to piss me off.

Wally: I don’t know. Something just feels slightly off and i know it’s you :).

Hi, I gots more playlists, tho these are specifically Once Upon A Witchlight related. They’re below the cut if you’re at all interested (I just really wanted to post them because I am so proud of a couple of these)

Torbek! His is the shortest out of the handful I have here, mostly because I have a very specific vibe in mind for the more character-specific ones, and this one I have an especially niche vibe im trying to go for. Idk, just kinda skrunkly and sad vibes I guess?

Gideon! Some fire vibes, some “I wanna murder things so bad” vibes, and then some songs I can’t quite place the vibe of but they felt like Gideon, so…

(Also ik one of the songs is literally titled “Gideon” and I swear I didn’t put that song in there for that reason. I swear if you look at the lyrics and listen to the song itself I’m sure you’ll understand why)

Kremy!!!! His I’m the most proud of, because I REALLY wanted to try and encapsulate his general vibe. Also the astute of you will notice that some of Kremy’s songs overlap with Gideon’s songs, and that’s just because I felt like it vibed with both of them individually.

Also I didn’t intend for most of Kremy’s playlist to have songs that fit under the “folk” category on Spotify, but honestly? It’s a vibe. Also making Kremy and Gideon’s playlists reintroduced me to Poor Man’s Poison, so I ain’t complaining lol.

Yeah, just general OUAW vibes. Not much I can say about this one. I just throw songs in here that I feel like fit the entire campaign, the party as a whole, or if I don’t have a playlist for an individual character yet

And my Coalecroux playlist. Some lovey-dovey, some horny, some angst, some vibes. Don’t question my song decisions for this and the OUAW vibes one, so.

Also I probably will make a playlist for Frost and Gricko at some point, if I can find enough songs I feel like fit their vibes to warrant their own playlists

hello autistic friend do u have any coalecroux songs. for my collection.

i’m going to do mini lyrical analysises for these so buckle up 🧍‍♂️

i could see Mr. Loverman by Ricky Montgomery working for that, it sort of embodies how they’re both too afraid to admit their feelings. Talking about alcohol in the beginning could possibly imply using substances to cope because you know OUAW. Maybe the “the ways in which you talk to me have me wishin i were gone” could embody kremy and how he honestly probably feels bad for dragging gideon (and his other friends ofc, but this ain’t about them) into this mess with Guru. Kremy is normally a very put together person, and i honestly see him being demiromantic, which would make sense since him and Gid have been friends for years, so these feelings, this pining, could send him into a confused swirl and spiral.

also, The Red Means I Love You. i know it’s about Toga from MHA, but Gideon is used as the main brawn of the group, and essentially does anything he’s told by kremy. he’s killed numerous people for his best friend and their safety, and it can be a maybe twisted way to show his dedication and loyalty to him.

this is a curveball, but Heart Attack by Demi Lovato. again, it shows the sort of confusion and denial put in place by both of them, especially Kremy “Mister Repression” Lecroux about falling in love and having these feelings.
