Finally able to post this! Gonna say straight out the bat; don't look at the consistency of injuries before this point. Just straight up don't. They are NOT consistent at all (but then again this comic was never consistent art wise to begin with, so....)

The turtles have eye colors now! Cause I thought that was cool :)

Bonus:

They did not, in fact, tell April or Cass about the whole "Leo may be turning into a kraang zombie" situation.

I will never be over Leo’s 4D chess play in “Many Unhappy Returns”. Like, just in general it is a spectacle to see this character who we’ve seen goofing around time and time again, who’s only sometimes decided to take things seriously, only to show him making a maneuver like that.

And here’s what gets me the most about his plan against Big Mama: he comes up with it on the spot. The second he sees that Big Mama has the solution they need, he’s already in game mode.

It is so satisfying watching the episode back when you realize his plan, because he literally sets the stage entirely for a decisive victory. He sees that the champion is a kraken, and comes up with both the solution to defeating it and a reasonable excuse to get that solution into the battle with them on the fly:

“Like your champ aaand those six guys. In fact, we don’t want this over too quickly. You should armor up those rookies. The whole shebang. Especially with these pointy helmets.”

And this is why giving him teleportation powers is perfect, too. He analyzes the battlefield and makes use of all the assets, moving pieces around to guarantee a win. It is honestly so impressive to witness and one of my favorite parts of his character.

I personally have a headcannon that the Kraang have a hard time dealing with the cold due to them being mostly flesh. Plus, the lava in the throne room of the Technodrone.

So, how does Raph handle the cold?

Not gonna lie, I've thought a lot about this.

Turtles are cold blooded, right? As being such, I would assume the boys have to be cautious when the weather drops just to be safe and avoid cold stunning (a condition where cold blooded reptiles become sluggish and weak due to prolonged exposure to colder temperatures - yes, I'm a nerd, yes I've done research XD)

And I do actually really like the idea of the Kraang being sensitive to colder climates as well.

Plus with my own headcannon that global warming took a serious turn for the extreme when the Kraang invaded, so not only is Raph now double sensitive to the cold, you could kind of say he's triple sensitive, having spent several years in an apocalyptically warm environment.

Luckily, he's got his family to help him out! He's definitely gonna need to figure out some winter gear too. . .

Hey, there everybody! Yes, I am still alive...

I owe you all an apology - I haven't posted anything in some time and that's because I changed my job and I'm trying to adapt to it, which is not as easy for me as it might seem. Hopefully, I'll soon find some time to draw my beloved turtles again and continue my comic :).
