It'd be nice if all these continues Kuroto keeps getting were given to, you know, other very dead characters who actually deserve a second chance at life, but I digress

So that's why there was an influx of Ex-Aid fanart on the Twitter timeline yesterday. I just thought everyone was, for whatever reason, in an Ex-Aid mood and happily retweeted as much as I could lol

Happy anniversary! As always best wishes to the cast and their careers, and to the fans who enjoyed this mash-up of games and doctors ^^

(I ended up checking the cast's tweets for the occasion and my favourites have to be Ruka Matsuda's and Hiroke Ijima's. The former because that's a lovely picture of Poppy, and the latter is because he's wearing something...interesting in what seems to be a past Ex-Aid press conference 😂)

The ones I can agree on are W, Zi-O, Ryuki, Den-O and Ex-Aid (which is so literal I can’t help smiling)

As for the others (take my reasoning with a grain of salt):

Gaim aims to be man vs. nature because it stresses evolution and the power delivered in a species’ hands, and what one would do with it. But it’s hard for me to think of it that way when Sagara isn’t as neutral as the text intends to be and he actively advocates for evolution against its set time

I’d argue Decade is more of “man vs author”, purely based on the “Decade has no story” saying I’ve seen crop up in a number of meta posts about it

Drive is a little convoluted, because they ultimately went in that direction…but showed the Roidmudes are victims of Banno, they’ve mostly been influenced by negative human emotion, and yet even the decent ones like Chase and 072 were killed. Why show nuance when they weren’t going to deliver it in the end?

I guess you could argue Haruto diverging from the White Wizard’s intended path (setting up the next Sabbath) counts as him going against the maker of the story, but Wizard wasn’t exactly a meta series. I’d say it’s more of “man vs self” because the Phantoms are born from people who have to overcome their despair, and while Haruto suppressed his Phantom, he deals with some moral conflicts as the series progresses (like placing his own former teacher in danger, if only temporarily, to see if he can save Koyomi)

Oh, it’s real; the homepage on my Chrome app often recommends me news articles featuring toku alumni and this was the first thing I saw on this fateful day. Though it does look a little faked...fingers crossed that’s true? xD
