First Glimpse Of BLACKPINK Lisa’s Acting Debut In “White Lotus” Is Revealed

The first glimpse of BLACKPINK Lisa‘s character in her White Lotus acting debut has been shared. A sneak peek of White Lotus was shared by HBO, showcasing what fans could expect with a familiar voice saying, “Welcome to the White Lotus in Thailand, ka.”

It was then revealed that the voice welcoming the characters to the White Lotus was Lisa. While the appearance was only short, it was enough to give netizens an insight into what kind of character Lisa would be playing.

Looking closer at the appearance, Lisa’s character is called Mook.

In particular, after the first glimpse was shared, a fan shared a message from the show's casting director, saying that Lisa’s “smile” was exactly what they had in mind when they first read about the character. A fan even shared some anecdotes that might hint at Lisa’s role in the show.

In 2022, Soyeon of (G)I-DLE created the song NXDE to raise awareness about the hyper-sexualization of women and the sexual mistreatment of all people, especially in the kpop industry.

Recently, the kpop industry has experienced numerous scandals that have proven that this message was not taken to heart. For example, Taeil of NCT 127 sexually assaulted and blackmailed a young girl; numerous idols, many of whom are minors, have been targets of ai deepfakes that depict them naked or performing sexual acts; subreddits dedicated to fap have become incredibly prevalent, with many of the idols on them again being minors; and recently, Gaeun of MADEIN was sexually assaulted and then blackmailed by her company's CEO while she was underage.

Because of this, we (the tumblr community coming from quotev) have decided to start what we are calling Project NXDE. The aim of the project is to spread awareness of the numerous misconducts happening both in the kpop industry and globally, using (G)I-DLE's songs to show that we all care and will not stand by as people are harassed and assaulted. If you stand by the fact that all this is messed up, make your tagline, pfp, blog theme, something related to the song NXDE or supporting the project. It might seem a little overkill, but spreading this message is incredibly important.

TWICE‘s Sana has broken a huge record… that she set herself.

In 2023, Sana broke the record for wearing the highest value of jewelry during a red carpet event.

Yet, it seems like the record has been broken… by Sana herself. On November 8, Sana appeared at the Graff Ginza Flagship Store in Tokyo. The idol looked absolutely gorgeous in a short black dress with a white underlay.

Along with her stunning visuals and outfit, Sana’s jewelry was also the main event because the event was for Graff. With the elegant ring, bracelet, and earrings, it was the huge diamond necklace that stood out.

Of course, attention was paid to Sana’s jewelry, and it became even hotter after it was revealed that the total of all the pieces was allegedly 252 carats and cost around 7 billion yen, around $46 million USD. The necklace itself seemingly was made of 205 carats, with the Meya Prosperity, the 29th largest diamond ever uncovered.

After seeing the pieces and the price, netizens couldn’t hide their shock that Sana had broken her last record, which broke the world record.

Sana will never fail to be legendary.
