HOT KPOP TAKE

I'm currently watching 'R U Next' and I love it so far. I've gotten a slow start but I'm at the part where the girls are getting into their dorms. Now idk if it's just me but I don't like how they put the girls in different sizes rooms. Now I know it's based off of the ranking and I get that. I think it was cool when Into The I land (Enhypen's survival show if you didn't know) had the lower ranks in a different area that's the highest ranks. But I don't think that it was cool to put for different girls in a small ass, cramped ass room. And it's not the bunk beds that I have a problem with or anything else it was just the size of the room. Idk it just seemed like WAYYY to small for 4 girls to be living in. And I know it's to make them want to work harder but idk... Ig I might just be over analyzing this but for me personally that room wouldn't be enough just for me LMAO. Idk i'd love to here other peoples takes. And just to be clear I'm not trying to make anyone mad or anything. I REALLY REALLY love the show<3.

It is kinda funny seeing people talk about Seungmin lately because he definitely has gotten more bold and confident for sure. He's also just getting opportunities to be perceived as an individual on his own as well for the first time in a while but it's still jarring to see people be like Aw he was always such a quiet goodie two shoes little nerd and it's like...... he was the one to leave and seek out his own vocal coach and blatantly talk about it, which of course lead to I.N and Lee Know also doing the same, he was the one to go on bubble and tell off sasaengs who used to camp outside their old dorm for invading members privacy but also because it effected other residents and staff at the complex, something that i'm certain upper management wouldnt have been happy about, and he wasn't curt or nice about it either. like he's never actually been a wallflower, he's always had a pretty strong backbone and seems to stick to his principals, its not really new.

joohoney amazes me and here's why.

first of all, picking such a cute stage name while being a legendary rapper in a group where the concept is 'badass'... iconic.

and not only is his name cute but he's fucking cute. and he thrives off of it. basically the king of aegyo. we know this. and when he does it, it's not even cringe at all. he's just cute. which makes him fucking good at it.

he's got phenomenal vocals on top of being the main rapper. him and changkyun bounce off of each other so well, their chemistry on stage is unmatched.

HOT TAKE: This show took me a WHILE to finish. It's not because it was predictable, boring, or too tense--there was just a LOT going on to keep track of and sometimes I just needed a drama to shut my brain off with.

Every episode of this show is packed with ins, outs, loyalties, lies, discoveries, logistical pitfalls, and all-to-realistic corporate greed and manipulation. Take your time to enjoy this drama because its worth it--just don't beat yourself up if you need a little plot refresher between episodes!

Unpopular opinion: I really think there's a problem with writing nsfw fanfics about irl people.

On ao3 and tumblr, I've seen so so soso many nsfw fanfics about kpop idols pop up and it's just creepy. Like. Stop it, get some help.

The fanfics that are NOT nsfw, maybe just fluff, or an au of irl people in gotham, or what they would be like if they went to Hogwarts, yeah, those are nice. They're fun, cute, and likeable. Because they're not inappropriate.

But an overwhelmingly large portion of the fanfics written about irl people seem to be nsfw. And it's so weird. Unless said person or people have consented to such content being written about them, it is just downright disgusting and vile behaviour to write nsfw things about them.

These people are not characters. They are not fictional. They are real, living, breathing humans that live on Earth with us. And it is concerning that so many are under the illusion that it is okay to write nsfw fanfics about these people.

kep1ian is a good fandom name for kep1er, and kep1er isn’t a bad name at all. k-pop stans are just allergic to numbers

kep1er’s name and fandom name have received criticism for being silly sounding but i think it’s fine and those that are being critical just don’t get it. kep1ian makes us fans sound like alien beings and isn’t that cool? plus it’s better than whatever kep1er’s fans were cooking before the name reveal; like keepers was one i saw a lot and i never liked it at all.. and the names people were coming up with before the name was revealed to be kep1er? awful. for example, COSMIX was one i saw a lot and it looks boring and more like a makeup brand or something. asteria was another and THAT sounds like a land in some mid rpg. 9alaxy just looks tacky. we don’t talk about gi99le. and every fucker on reddit going ‘tee hee dayeon and friends lol get it’ you were never funny. kep1er sounds cool and rolls off the tongue well and i swear people only shit on it because it has a number in it AS IF OTHER GROUPS DONT HAVE NUMBERS IN THEIR NAME (ahem NCT 127, ab6ix, that one boy group under MLD ent). plus it’s futuristic and space themed isn’t that neat
