Had a great but tough workout at the #korkomplex tonight. I planned on doing 22 drop sets of burpees with active rest being x2 up then down x2 on the salmon ladder but I only could manage to finish to set 10. Right arm felt like it was about to fall off.. 😩 So in total I did 208 burpees and 48 salmon ladder rungs. Total time when I stopped was 35min Thanks to my buddy David Thomas for pushing me to get up the warped wall at the end of my workout. Great Spartan workout today on the Arch grand staircase with my teammate @sallyquinncosplay 1180 total steps climbed - 210 burpees completed in a little over 29min. Sun was out finally out and it felt great! Last night at the @korkomplex I threw my very first spear throw. After a few attempts I was able to hit the target. Thanks @ocr_jason for helping me out. This is in preperation for the #spartanstadium race at Busch on August 11th. The #StairNinja climbed 35 sets up/down the Arch grand staircase today at lunch. Every 5 sets I did 25 decline push-ups at the bottom. Every 5 sets I would change it up to a different exercise. What drained me the most was the very last 5 I did 5 step hops then sprinted up the next set. It was also cool to see a friend/co-worker down on grounds crusing through on the new bike share. Over 1200 feet in elevation climbed/131 floors/4000 plus steps It was a good on the Arch steps. Finally learned this skill today at the #korkomplex thanks to my #ministairninja for filming it for me. He got 4 steps by himself today to. So proud of him. Great 1st StairNinja boot camp at lunch with all my PGAVers. X12 sets up/down doing different exercises. With some high knees and push-ups mixed in for good measure. Thank you Teague, Rachael, and Whitney for joining me. 2nd StairNinja bootcamp will be next Thursday. Also ran into @brendan.c.oneill from the @korkomplex on the stairs doing a boot camp with a group. That was awesome to see. More people utilizing the grand stair case for fitness.
