Danganronpa Characters Watching a Move (at the cinema)

Eats all their food before the movie starts:

Akane - Foodie

Aoi - No self control when it comes to food

Hiro - Somehow accidentally eats it all

Kaito - Trips while walking up the stairs and spills it everywhere.

Nagito - Eats it during the trailers

Cries when the supporting character/animal dies:

Chihiro - Cries when the dog dies

Gundham - Also cries when the dog dies

Himiko - ALSO cries when the dog dies

Kaede - "They were such a supportive character *sniff, sob*"

Mikan - (She cried because the opening was too loud)

Peko - She cried when the dogs were separated in the street

Sakura - "What a loyal character"

Sonia - Cries when the dog dies

Monomi/Usami - "They didn't deserve that" <- Animal and Character

Nekomaru - "They took one for the team... that's loyalty... *sniffling*"

Throws Popcorn/Food at People:

Fuyuhiko - He hits the couple infront of him while they're kissing

Hiyoko - She dumps it on the people being too loud and laughs at them

Kokichi - Throws from far away, Kaito gets blamed and escorted out

Leon - Incredible accuracy, hits the screen when the characters talk, often lands "in their mouths"

Mondo - Throwing popcorn with Leon, missing most of the time, but still having fun.

Monotaro - Dumps it all on his siblings

Gets kicked out of the cinema:

Junko - Already got a permanent ban from it, escorted out on sight.

Kazuichi - Somehow accidentally does something really bad and has to be escorted out, he leaves with Kaito.

Mukuro - Saw the prices of her favourite slushie go up by 50c and threatened the cashier with a hunting knife.

Teruteru - He was innapropriate to the female worker/s.

Monokuma - Escorted out on sight, left right after sneaking in with Junko.

Talking the Whole Time (mostly gets popcorn thrown at them):

Angie - I don't know why, but I think she would.

Ibuki - Extremely loud and constantly gets "shushed"

Hifumi - Rambles about the actors and their voice overs in different anime.

Sayaka - Accidentally unaware, always notices easter eggs

Kiyotaka - Unaware socially and doesn't realise it's wrong

Tenko - Screams at the screen whenever a male comes on, gets shushed constantly and is escorted out to the lobby to wait for the movie to finish.

Monokid - He's just really loud.

Watching the Movie in Peace:

Imposter/Twogami - He's chill about the movie, eats his food quickly and constantly gets up to get more.

Chiaki - Relaxing, fell asleep after the first song/instrumental

Kirumi - Picking up rubbish/popcorn from the floor to help the workers. Stays late to assist with cleanup.

Korekiyo - Occasionally comments, but enjoys the movie nevertheless.

Kyoko - Still and silent, making sligh "huh" "ohhh" noises when she realises plot twists are coming up.

Monodam - Tells everybody to get along, sits with Monomi/Usami and tells the people around him to shush.

Shuichi - Done with everybodies shit by the end, but tolerates it for the other viewers sakes'.

Rantaro - He got no development, I didn't know where to put him.

Ryoma - Sits at the front because he can't see over the seats, quiet and isn't bothered by the others.

Spoils it on Accident:

Keebo - "I read an online forum" and then spoils the majority of the movie.

Mahiru - Searched all the actors on IMDB, watched trailers, found many full movie essay reviews on the movie before buying tickets, went on rotten tomatos for reviews. She wanted to get her moneys worth!

Makoto - Already seen it before because it was trending a week prior, accidentally spoils it but the people next to him don't mind.

Tsumugi - Got spoilers by Mahiru, was already in the fandom, came in cosplay and spoiled a bunch of it while rambling.

Gonta - "Gonta heard (spoils entire plot, then starts talking about the bee movie)"

Monophanie - "Hm I watched a movie like this... (<- It was the movie they were watching and she spoiled it all.)

Hajime - "Oh no... I'm a failure!" "Yes Hajime, a reserve course student hanging out with the Ultimates... you should be a stepping stone!" (<- He then gets mad at Nagito and spoils it to him purposefully, others hear though.)

Spoils it on Purpose:

Byakuya - Ruins the fun for his own enjoyment

Monosuke - Just wants to be annoying

Celestia - Somebody annoyed her because they took too long to order tickets, she got mad and spoiled it for the rest of the cinema loudly when she walked out of the movie.

Miu - Does it for shits and giggles

Toko - Depending on her mood. She gets mad at somebody next to her and yells at them.

Maki - Was in a bad mood when she walked in, only spoiled it because Kaito was escorted out due to Kokichis bad behaviour.

- it’s no surprise that shuichi has issues regarding his own self-esteem. and while it is something he actively seeks to improve on, there are times where some people really make it hard for him to do so

- when a person approaches you with a flirty tone, he is kind of just stunned that they unabashedly disrespected your guys’ relationship. well, even if not everyone knows that you are his boyfriend, he is still hurt and gets nervous about what could happen

- he will try to say something, although it’ll come out pretty awkwardly. possibly resulting in him not being taken seriously. shuichi also hopes that you will speak up too and kind of relies on you to be the one to shut down their advances

- he’ll try his best to stay near to you as he finds comfort in your closeness. even clinging to you a little, wanting to lower the chances of someone taking you away from him as much as possible. he may go a bit quiet and come off as aloof to others, but shuichi can’t help feeling cautious and protective of you in these types of scenarios

RANTARO AMAMI ✰

- even rantaro, a man known for his cool demeanor and tendency to be relaxed and carefree, can be unsure of himself and act out-of- character from time to time

- some days he is just feeling particularly under the weather and self-conscious because bad memories resurface, and in the midst of it he can’t help but feel anxious that he is not proving himself worthy of being your partner when he sees you laughing and smiling with others who openly show how much they care about you

- you would find that rantaro tries to close himself off and handle his intrusive thoughts on his own. he doesn’t want to dump all his troubles onto you, as his boyfriend you only deserve the best, him at his best

- when he is in a better state of mind, rantaro will immediately apologize for his behavior and tell you what’s on his mind if you ask him to. he will openly communicate how he feels in hopes you will understand where he is coming from and give him the reassurance that he seeks

KOREKIYO SHINGUJI ✰

- korekiyo isn’t one to be easily bothered, he places a lot of trust in you and doesn’t mind seeing you interact with others as you please. he is completely faithful to you and certain that you are the same with him

- alongside his trust, he is able to read you like an open book and knows how you act like when there is romantic interest present

- so what could make korekiyo jealous? being directly challenged by other people. he can tell when people have a thing for you, always. when others try to make a move on you, the man he is literally dating, that’s when he is provoked. such lack of respect! he knows you would never cheat, but is still quick to make himself known to other person with a direct-indirect approach

- but if they continue to pursue their ill intentions, korekiyo will start to feel threatened. he’ll find a way to confront them when they are alone and have this long conversation with them about how “it’s best to let go of what was never meant to be” and shut down any delusions that they might have

ignore how im a hsr blog for ONE SECOND I HAVE DANGANRONPA THOUGHTS

imagine if the danganronpa games worked like the squid game where they get invitations to participate in the killing game??? MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!! FOR DRV3!!!!!

in drthh it was mentioned that talents get scouted to the school so this could be weird BUT i wanna focus on drv3 (mainly beacause ive been playing it recently instead of hsr)

so the dr team wants to find someone to write the script , they find tsumugi at an anime convention and go "hey, you're a cosplayer, right? wanna take part in producing dr?" and thats how she gets dumped into the killing game

and after kaede's piano competition, she finds a little invitation note slipped under the trophy she had just won.

and when shuichi steps out of the tapes blocking the crime scene him and his uncle was investigating , his foot sticks to not only a lingering piece of tape, but an invitation letter.

and when ryoma's lunch gets carelessly tossed into the cell, he shoves the food down before finding a note to "escape" to a place far worse than prison.

and when kirumi's client, almost fearfully , hands her a letter, then uncharacteristically slamming the door to his ministerial office shut with all his trembling hands' might.

and when angie bends down after dropping her paintbrush, both her and atua are shocked to find that an invitation to the killing game had been pinned to the canvas.

and when tenko slams another "degenerate male" to the ground for robbing a girl. she couldn't resist taking a peek at the invitation slip that fell out of his back pocket, and was undoubtedly surprised when she found her named addressed on the letter.

and when korekiyo presses one final kiss to his dying sister's lips, he looks at her bedside table to find nothing but one delicately wrapped letter, with paper and ink to his liking. this was bound to be interesting.

and when miu was inventing yet another one of her wacky creations, she pulled off her protective eyegoggles to find said machine uncontrlollably spewing out uncountable amounts of letters, almost harry potter-esque.

and when gonta caresses one of his tens of hundreds of bugs in a glass case (with breathing holes, of course), a paper butterfly lands on his broad shoulder and "open says me", an invitation.

and when kokichi and his "gang" are running away from overworked convenience store cashiers over stolen candy, he trips over a piece of candy, the wrapper unfolding itself to reveal an invitation.

and when kaito forges another document to hand in to some space-related organisation, he finds a slip of paper that stuck out from the pile . Man, I guess he thinks he's going to space.

and when keebo first opened his eyes to see the world that humans reigned over, coordinates and words flashed before his eyes, he knew where he was going to be.

for rantaro, if he was the ultimate adventurer, then after he'd landed from another 18-hour-long flight, a flight attendant would sneakily pass a letter to him, looking as if he was at gunpoint.

I also love the idea of them being friends in a way that people think they're a couple but they're just very comfortable around each other, their love is purely platonic and it's nice. They both deserve an autistic homie.

miyadera's fandom treatment infuriates me for so many reasons. redirecting vitrolic hatred for a mans actions to a woman HE BLAMED as a scapegoat after her death by ALSO scapegoating her! takes away korekiyo's agency in his crimes and refusing to interrogate his character on a deeper level so he can remain an ~uwu sad boy~! depending on how you view the situation, projecting an entire personality on a woman with either no lines or whose only lines are calming her brother down from a homicidal rage, SOLELY TO HATE HER!!

but the thing that infuriates me the most is the comparison between how the fandom treats miyadera and how the fandom treats kanon nakajima. you'd THINK, if the problem was that this fandom hates the people in the upper power dynamic in a horrifying incest trope, that people would also be critical of leon, who intentionally manipulated and lead kanon on and making her totally reliant on him, despite not even reciprocating her affection. SURELY, if we can excuse Korekiyo committing nearly 100 murders due to abuse, we can excuse Kanon's stalking, right? it's not good, obviously. but i would argue 90+ murders is INDISPUTABLY worse.

but EVERYONE hates Kanon. and NO ONE hates leon. kanon takes all the blame. and miyadera takes all the blame. in a relationship people don't like, it's seemingly ALWAYS the woman's fault - despite any and all evidence to the contrary. and that just well and truly pisses me off.

So far I like Tenko and Kaito the best, Maki is okay... but certainly not my favourite yet. Kokichi and Miu always have funny interactions together, and I like when Ouma is a step ahead of everybody else. Shuichi is a cutie, his eyeliner is so good. Korekiyo is okay, but to be honest he needs more to him (I'm up to the second trial and haven't seen much gameplay.) Keebo and Tsumugi are... okay? Himiko can be annoying, but I like her. She's a cutie. Just please stop saying "maaaagiiiiicccc" :). Her relationship with Tenko and Angie save her character. Cute trio! Kirumi is okay...? I like her "motherly" role in the group, it's sweet. The monokubs better stfu every time that crusty red one talks I remember that he and Ishimaru share a Voice Actor and I want to cry - they could've used Sean Chiplock for any other character, his voice is fantastic omg. - The characters have grown on me a lot since before I started watching this gameplay, to be honest all of them have except Gonta. I expected more... I'm sorry- I thought he would be my favourite... maybe I'll buy the game with my own money.

Long ahh ramble on 1 hour of gameplay I've watched... yeah that's my full opinion so far. :)
