I don't like the writing in the novels so I never finished them, I never finished the future arc and the despair arc actively ruined some of the stuff I thought was cool about SDR2 (the whole brainwashing thing was just boring). mitarai is allowed tho because I think he's fun and cool :]

I, the mod, am nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. This blog is completely run by me and me alone! Please be mindful with demands because of this, this is a passion project, not an obligation.

Anything abusive will be tagged "tw abuse", so please block that tag if you don't want that. The ships that are considered rarepairs here are ships with under 500 works in them on ao3.

As for poly ships, those will be tagged with "poly ship", and will be allowed as long as they have under 500 works in the tag. For example, Hinanami and Komahina aren't allowed, but Komahinanami is. The tags will be the poly ship and the individual ships for blocking purposes, even if the individual ships aren't rarepairs.

For crossover pairings, all are applicable except for Sansmaeda, as that one makes me personally uncomfortable. Crossover content will be tagged "crossover" and "crossover pairing".

Ships I personally am a fan of will be tagged "dealers choice". This is so that I can find them.

I will not reblog any romantic content involving Tenko Chabashira and boys, nor any romantic content with Juzo Sakakura and girls (though I will reblog Chisa/Kyosuke/Juzo ot3 art with the assumption that Chisa & Juzo are platonic, as well as platonic content between Tenko & boys and Juzo & girls). This is a personal boundary as I see both of these characters as gay. Anyone else is fair game, even if I tend to headcanon them a certain way. How Nagito, Chiaki, and Hajime first became friends:

(So, I had too many headcanons to put in one post, so I separated them. These are headcanons of how Chiaki, Nagito, and Hajime became friends in this Non-Despair AU! Think of this as a part 2)

So, it's pretty clear that Chiaki is a pretty lonely person that didn't have any friends before entering Hope's Peak

Due to her socially awkward and slightly aloof personality, she struggled with communicating with her other classmates and often just hung out at the back of the classroom

This grabbed Nagito's attention since she usually seems quite lonely for an Ultimate and not much like the symbol of hope he was really expecting

He approached her and began to strike conversation, and this excited Chiaki since she thought that he was a possible friend

The two begin talking and began to form a small friendship

Later that day, Chiaki meets and befriends Hajime the same way she did in the anime (Bumping into and talking about video games with him)

Pleased with making two new friends, Chiaki immediately introduced them to each other, but they didn't like each other that much

Nagito thought Hajime was just sucking up to the Ultimates, which irritated Hajime. Hajime, meanwhile, was creeped out by Nagito's "hopegasms" as he calls it

After this failed first meeting, Chiaki was sad that her first friends didn't get along with each other, but she had hope

Nagito had mentioned that he had a small curiosity about Hajime, and this convinced Chiaki that there was a chance for them to be friends

So, in order to hold on to that hope, Chiaki invites both boys to video game sessions and to hang out whenever she has a chance

Both are reluctant to do so, but Hajime just wanted to make Chiaki happy and Nagito wanted to see the extent of her hope. So, they sucked it up however they made it clear they didn't like it.

My god, getting these two motherfuckers to become friends was one of Chiaki's biggest pains in the ass to date

But, the two finally warm up to each other after Nagito opens up a bit about his luck and how Hajime expresses a desire to understand him better and opens up a bit about his insecurities as a regular person

Chiaki also opened up about her insecurities of feeling like an outcast due to her difficulties with communicating and making friends

A little while after that, the three formed their little friendship trio and hung out a lot whenever they had a chance

Chiaki would give herself the credit for finally getting Hajime and Nagito to become friends, but Hajime immediately shuts her down by telling her that she was just extremely lucky

Probably not going to be the last of these three because of how much I adore them, but at least I got this part 2 out there! Hope you enjoyed the headcanons!
