I remember one time seeing an artwork of the v3 cast in the phantom thieves outfits and it got me wondering what if we had class 77 as the investigation team (I know shsl shipper gamer fangirl did something like this but I don’t think the phantom thieves fit as well as the investigation team) and with that in mind who do you see being who

(P.s for the artwork I saw kokichi was joker kaede was panther kaito was skull maki was queen korekiyo was fox himeno was oracle tsumugi was haru ryoma was Mona kiruma was sae shuichi was supposed to be goro but mistakenly dressed up as naoto)

Ok! I'm going to try to think in terms of who has the most similar personality or at least shares the most traits with the P4 character in question.

Yu Narukami/Protag equivalent = Hajime, obvs.

Yosuke Hanamura equivalent = Kazuichi. Although I feel like Kazuichi's best P4 match would be something like "Yosuke + Kanji," Yosuke is definitely the closer match of the two.

Chie Satonaka equivalent = This is the first legitimately tough one IMO. I guess Mahiru Koizumi is probably the best match in terms of personality, so I'll give it to her.

Yukiko Amagi equivalent = Sonia Nevermind. Easy one.

Kanji Tatsumi equivalent = Fuyuhiko has that tough-guy exterior with the softer inner core, so he can take this on.

Rise Kujikawa equivalent = This, to me, was the hardest one. Sure, we have someone who loves to be on-stage and in the spotlight — Ibuki — but she doesn't align with ANYTHING else about Rise's personality. (Though I do think having Ibuki as a navigator would be hilarious.) So... who comes the closest, then? Does Class 77 have anyone that's struggling with putting on an exterior face to the point that they fear they're losing sight of who they are? I suppose that'd align well with the Imposter. But again, I don't feel confident that he fits with anything else about Rise. And so, after careful consideration, I've decided to give this role to Mikan Tsumiki. Mikan aligns with literally zero of Rise's personality traits, yet somehow she still gets about 50% of the way to matching most of them, if that makes sense? There are multiple aspects that both have loosely in common with the other, if only partially. It's... good enough.

Teddie equivalent = Teruteru.

Naoto Shirogane equivalent = And so we end on another hard one. I considered Peko, Ryota, and Chiaki before I ultimately landed on Imposter. He's got a very no-nonsense, down-to-business way of speaking when he's not putting on a faked personality, plus he's got that whole hidden-identity aspect down already. He also almost never wavers from his craft; he's disguising 99% of the time, after all, which aligns pretty well with Naoto's workaholic nature.

Conductor( OC 1)= A tan hamster who specializes in trains. She is owned by a ten year old boy named John Youn( his Japanese name that I gave him is Hiroki Kanji). She has her own Ham-Ham train, which she wears a conductor's uniform to show that she operates it, and is often with her best friend, Arte. She is very upbeat and tomboyish. Birthday: 6/21

Arte( OC 2)= A pale pink hamster who is significantly shorter than Conductor. She is owned by an aspiring artist named Alice Kissington( Japanese= Chihiro Koizumi). She is always carrying art supplies and is often making portraits of other Ham-Hams. Her goal is to make a portrait of Bijou. She is fairly shy and introverted. Birthday: 2/1

Blue( OC 3 )= A blue hamster who is incredibly buff and strong. However, believe it or not, this Ham-Ham is actually a female hamster with a love for ballet and her Lovedove Ham, Pink. She is owned by a buff and rude young woman named Tanya Von Hayden( Japanese= Tenko Yoshima). Just like all of my OCs, she has an item that she always has- a light blue tutu. She is very kind and gentle. Birthday: 8/10

Pink ( OC 4 )= A pink hamster who is very short and girly-looking despite being a boy. He has a a girly voice and seems to be more interested in the things that girls like than the boys. He has a love for hair dressing and for his Lovedove Blue. He is owned by two identical twin brother and sister named Jen and Ben Arlo( Japanese= Maki and Mako Nanoda). He is very shy and quiet and is always with Blue. Birthday: 10/1

Safari (This is the name and backstory I gave Ham Green from Ham Ham Heartbreak.)= A green hamster with a huge passion for nature. He is also Ham Green of the Ham Rangers. He is owned by a a 23 year old woman named Jami Kosher( Japanese= Aria Kurin). He has a somewhat calm and relaxed nature. Birthday: 5/16

Lightning (I did the same thing with this ham and the next three as I did with Safari).= A yellow hamster who prefers sleeping and eating over anything else. She is very sleepy, yet is somehow Ham Yellow of the Ham Rangers. She is owned, along with Balloon and Ocean, by a 7 year old boy named Mark Harolds( Japanese= Daisuke Yuno). Birthday: 1/1

Balloon( Same as first two Ham Rangers)= A pink hamster who is pretty self-absorbed but is not above helping others. She often has her head in the clouds, but she doesn't let that stop her from being Ham Pink. She is owned by Mark Harolds/ Daisuke Yuno. Birthday: 7/20

Ocean( Same as first three Ham Rangers)= A blue hamster who is always trying to beat the high score at his favorite arcade, Stickie Note. He is also Ham Blue and the smartest Ham Ranger. He is owned by Mark Harolds/ Daisuke Yuno. Birthday: 11/5

Flame( This is the name and back story I gave the ghost Ham Mom)= A pale blue hamster who, despite being a ghost, is also Ham Red and the Ham Ranger's leader. Though she is know motherly and kind, due to being a mother, she was hot-headed, easily angered, and very brave when she was young and often relapses into this persona when she is Ham Red or trying to impress her son. Her owner was Tom Karnie( Japanese= Yu Inu), who owns an inn called The Flame Inn. Birthday: 12/24

Yin and Yang( OC 5 and 6 )= Two twin therapy hamsters. These two sisters are owned by an anxiety ridden girl named Alex Smiles( Yuno Kamui). Yin is a white hamster withe Yin symbol on her chest, while her sister is a black hamster with the Yang symbol on her chest. Both are very loving towards Alex. Birthday: 8/2

Speedy, Kitten, and Beak (OC 7,8, and 9)= These three animal girls are a trouble making trio. Speedy is a turtle who is greatly sarcastic, Kitten is the leader and an orange hamster with an attitude, and Beak is a falcon and the only nice member. These three are all wild animals. Birthdays(in order): 4/9, 5/29, 6/19

Baby and Teen (OC 10 and 11)= This purple brother and sister duo are the owners of the cafe Ham-Ham Coffee. Baby is, well, a baby hamster while her brother is, well, an motherly( or fatherly?) teen. Their owner is the champion of the women's ski division, Jacki Tees( Japanese= Ami Kokada). Birthdays: 7/31 and 11/18

Spike and Skull (OC 12 and 13)= This unlikely duo is very odd. Spike is a black hamster whose fur sticks out like spikes ans Skull, her best friend, is white cat with a skull collar. These two girls were adopted as babies at the same time by Jason Lies( Japanese= Yamada Kokichi) and were raised together, making Spike great with cats and Skull great with hamsters. Spike is loud and tomboyish while Skull and quiet and girly. Birthdays: 7/2 and 10/31

Two-Eye ( OC 14)=  A yellow hamster with a right blue eye and a left red eye. She is very stubborn and hates being complimented with earning it. She is owned by Jason Lies/ Yamada Kokichi. Birthday: 12/1

Time ( OC 15)= A brown hamster with a clock pattern on her back. She operates the clock in the village where my OC Ham-Hams meet, Ham-Ham Village. She is very odd and creepy, but seems to have an admiration for Boss, who is a field hamster like her. Birthday: 12/31

Fire, Water, and Grass ( OC 16,17 and 18)= Three triplet sister hams with different personalities. Fire is red and easily angered, Water is blue and bubbly, and Grass is green and calm. They are owned by fraternal triplet sisters Red,Blue, and Green Amore (Japanese= Rise, Naoto, and Kanji Kurumi). Birthday: 2/14

Himiko and Damien ( OC 19 and 20)= A small brown hamster named Himiko and Chicky-Chicky named Damien. Another unlikely duo, Himiko is the best friend and crush of Damien. Himiko is oblivious to Damien's crush on her and so far, she only views him as a best friend (right now he is friend-zoned, but he doesn't mind. As long as she is happy, he's happy.) Whenever Himiko is separated from Damien, she begins to cry and is depressed until they are reunited. Damien's separation reaction is that he takes his anger and sadness out on others. Terror, Horror, Fear, and Scare (OC 22, 23, 24, and 25)= Four black sibling hamsters.  Terror is the oldest and only male of the four. He is the one who leads their prank victims to his sisters. Horror is the oldest sister and second oldest all together. She makes her younger sister's props and costumes and counts the money the get for their prank business( they are paid to prank others to test their bravery). Fear is the middle sister and third oldest. She is the one who uses the props and costumes to scare Ham-Hams. Scare is the youngest of the four. Despite being being a baby, she is the smartest and is the one who comes up with the plans. They are field hamsters. Terror is the normal sibling, Horror is the nerdy sibling, Fear is the terrifying sibling, and Scare is the smart sibling. Birthdays: 10/30, 10/29, 10/28, 10/27

Copycat (OC 26)= a tan hamster who is a master of disguises. She can copy other Ham-Hams perfectly and her usually victim are the Ham-Hams( she usually pretends to be Bijou for everyone but Bijou and everyone else for Bijou). Shiro and Kuro (OC 27 and 28)= Shiro and Kuro are two best friends and huge fans of the Ham Rangers to the point that they became superheroes known as Ham White and Ham Black. Shiro is a white male hamster with a crush on his partner. Kuro is a black female hamster with a crush on Shiro and Panda. Shiro is the shy one of the two while Kuro is the outspoken one of the two. Riddle( new OC 1): A tan hamster with a single black stripe down the middle of her body. She is a field hamster who not only enjoys solving riddles, but enjoys speaking in riddles too! Speak, Hear, and See( new OCs 2,3, and 4): Three triplet hamsters owned by a young girl named Adeline Sarih. Speak is a red hamster who, contrary to her name, cannot talk. Note( new OC 5): a mint green hamster who loves to play the piano. She is famous in the hamster world for her covers of preexisting songs. Outlaw, Rule, and Cop( new OCs 6,7, and 8): Three black sibling hamsters with white polka dotted fur who are strict and serious and enforce the law and are owned by two gay African- American police officers, named John and Mark Dulon and their adoptive Japanese daughter, Hinata Dulon. Outlaw, the youngest of the three and the only girl, is owned specifically by Hinata and is always wearing a police uniform like her brothers. Rule is John's hamster and is the eldest and has the most experience. Cop is the middle sibling and is owned by Mark. All three hamsters help John and Mark solve human crimes. They are call "Muhōmono"( Outlaw), "Rūru" (Rule) and "Koppu"( Cop) by Hinata. Birthday: 2/7, 8/12, 12/2

Gemi and Ni( new OCs 9 and 10): These two are twin purple hamster who constantly depend on each other and love each other more than anything. Gemi, the elder twin brother, cries very easily, especially when his sister is absent. Ni, the younger twin sister, get angry very easily when separated from her twin. The only difference between the two is how tame their fur is. Gemi's fur is straight while Ni's is messy. Their actual names are 'O Gemi( Gemi) and Ni, due to them and their owner being Hawaiian. They are owned by an astrologist named Adam Newapple. Birthday: 6/8

Tennis-Ham( new OC 11): A brown field hamster who loves playing tennis. He is a very famous hamster tennis player. He has 2 younger sisters and 2 younger brothers. He is very kind and sees everyone as a younger sibling due to him being an adult hamster. Birthday: 1/18

Fanfic-Ham( new OC 12): An blue Chinese hamster whose real name is "Tóngrén xiǎoshuō - hā mǔ". Despite her name being in pure Chinese, she is fluent in English due to having been born and raised in America before being adopted by a young Chinese couple named Bai( the husband) and Lan( the wife) Huang, who were vacationing in New York. She normally carries a book and pen around and is usually wearing a dark blue vest. Birthday: 9/11

Rūkasu and Kyasarin( new OCs 13 and 14): Two hamsters who are currently dating despite their owners and one of the owner's family being in a feud. These two hamsters are literal hamster versions of Romeo and Juliet( except they don't die, unlike Romeo and Juliet). Kyasarin is a yellow hamster with a white stomach while Rūkasu is a red hamster with a black stomach. Kyasarin is owned by a poor young boy named Issac Germain and his family who despises the owner of Rūkasu due to her wealth. Rūkasu's owner, Elizabeth Uranigin has a crush on Kyasarin's owner, but knows he doesn't like her. Birthdays: 11/3 and 7/28

Pokemon- Ham and Beyblade- Ham( new OCs 15 and 16): Pokemon- Ham and Beyblade- Ham are two cousin hamsters. Pokemon- Ham is colored like an average Pokeball and is fairly small while Beyblade- Ham is colored like a Valtryek Beyblade and is somewhat large. Pokemon- Ham is much younger than her cousin. Police in a Pod TV Anime’s Newest Trailer Previews OP Theme, Reveals January 2022 Broadcast

  It’s nearly time for the cops from Machiyama Police Station to start their patrol as it was announced today that the TV anime adaptation of Miko Yasu's slice-of-life manga series Police in a Pod will be starting in January 2022. The broadcast month was revealed in the newest trailer for the MADHOUSE-produced series that also previewed the opening theme song, as well as revealing more cast members and staff.

    The opening theme featured in the trailer is “Shirankya (I Have to Know),” which is performed by Riko Azuna. It was also announced that the ending theme will be “Change” performed by nonoc.

  In Japan, the Police in a Pod manga has released 17 volumes and inspired a live-action TV series that finished in September on Japanese TV. Kodansha releases the series in English, with the third volume currently scheduled to be released on August 10. They describe the first volume as such:

  Female police officer Kawai had enough of a career she wasn't even that into and was about to hand in her registration, when the unthinkable happened—she met the new, female director of her station! And after spending a little time with this gorgeous role model, Kawai realizes that maybe she isn't quite done being an officer after all.
