Kotaro Sakuma, Koguma Skyblue, is the only person holding the Kyurangers' single braincell :p (He sometimes lends it to either Stinger (hit brother), Raptor, or Shou

Kotaro has to keep the braincell safe or else it'll be yeeted into the vacuum of space, never to be seen again

I was thinking about the problems with using the Kyuranger suits (Read: Hammie has a skirt and Izzy HATES skirts), and now I have the REALLY stupid/goofy idea of switching EVERYONE'S colors. Amelia's Shishi Red, Javi's Gold, Aiyon's Ryu Violet, Izzy is either Hebitsukai Silver or Koguma Skyblue, Fern is Sasori Orange, Zayto's Houou Soldier, and Ollie gets... Well, by process of elimination, that leaves Blue, Yellow, or Silver. Maybe Yellow?)

ahhh it takes me back to the height of Ameliagate.....I definitely think the Red Amelia/Beige Zayto thing wouldn't have been quite as big if she and him weren't the only ones to switch colors. (I still think Aiyon should have been yellow, though that was back when I thought the Cosmic Fury Zords would have something to do with their new powers, like some kind of idiot or something)

Honestly, for me? Yeah, it kinda had to.

It's been 9 episodes and these guys are barely even a team, let alone friends. I haven't seen a Sentai that took this long to assemble, just for the main five alone. If upping the stakes is what it takes for these guys' egos to go down enough to admit that they need and want to work together, then so be it!

In comparison, Kyuuranger, the team with the largest ensemble to date, was only missing two of its twelve members in the same number of episodes (the missing ones being Kotaro who debuts as Koguma Skyblue in ep 10 and Tsurugi who debuts as Houou Soldier in ep 21), and the team was mostly cohesive by then.

So just as an fyi for Supernova, due to the way I’m pacing quite a few events will be changed in regards to when they occur. This is mostly because episode 1 of Kyuranger will be split into 2 due to the pacing I’m going for, so every other episode afterward moves forward in when they occur for the most part (3 becomes 4, 4 becomes 5, etc). Other major pacing changes include Skragen (Ikagen), Kaus (Eriedron), and the Knights of Andromeda (Vice-Shoguns) surviving longer, the time between Ryu Commander and Koguma Skyblue’s introductions being increased (since we immediately got blindsided by another ranger not part of the core 9 being introduced immediately after another was), and a couple arcs being altered among other things.

On an unrelated note, I can picture what the series logo would look like, so I’ll tell you guys in case one of you wants to make it since I have no photoshop skills whatsoever. Of course it would have the standard Power Rangers logo at the top, and beneath it would be Supernova, with the letters being black with white outlines with star glittering stars the black like the visors of the Ranger costumes. The A at the end would be replaced with that asymmetric star in the Kyuranger logo, with the same black color and glitter as the rest of the letters. Since supernova is nine letters, the outlines of each letter also have a glow correspond to one of the nine original rangers. S has a red glow, U has a orange glow, P has a blue glow, E has a gold glow, R has a black glow, N has a silver glow, O has a green glow, V has a pink glow, and A/the star has a yellow glow. Behind the letters is a white burst of light that gets either more purple, cyan, or crimson towards each of its edges.

Kotaro was sent back to the HQ where he would continue his accelerated studies before he would enroll in university to achieve his dream of surpassing Tsurugi one day.

Kotaro's become an honorary member of Stinger's tribe, which means he gets to be trained in handling all kinds of weaponry.

Stinger and Kotaro are no doubt close, and this includes Kotaro's lil bro, Jiro as well. Both Kotaro and Jiro are honorary members and while they do get weapon handling, they're just as happy just to be around him.

Stinger, around people he considers close, has this habit of wrapping his tail around those individuals. Where it's wrapped around differs from person to person and their meanings differ as well.

For those wondering, here's the comparison between version 1 and 2. Version 1 has hip thrusts while version 2 replaces it with arm moves. The dance changed in episode 12, when Koguma Skyblue and Kotaro Sakuma were added to the ending credits.

"kuwagataohger is still way too long as a name" it's only 1 syllable longer than KuwagaRaiger, and the same number as some of the names in Kyuranger like Chameleon Green, Hebitsukai Silver, or Koguma Skyblue
