Sometimes I watch Sa//ber//spa//rk for bg noise and stuff, and he recently made a vid on the whole deal with the mig//hty magi///swo//rds (sorry i keep censoring stuff i dont want them showing up in main tags!!) creator. the thing is, he went on this little tangent about how one of the victims of the creator drew sh0//ta art as a way to release their trauma. it starts at 28:30, but my personal problem is that he was just so snarky about it, almost. saying shit like "if true" about the whole venting trauma through art thing, putting a stupid-ass meme after describing what sh//0//ta was, and even doubted the therapist who recommended them to do this. "that just does not sound likely to me" bro shut your dumb ass up

it's even worse that the person he was talking about went through a health crisis and got blacklisted from the animation industry because of the creator. have a bit of respect, man

sorry to dump this on you!! i just needed to talk to someone about this because even if its not the end of the world, it still sucks to hear someone you like say stuff like that

Hello, you may not know me and you may not know this new account. However, I've been a fan of Lord of the Flies for a while and have been active in the fandom for a long time. This is an alt. This might sound weird, and abrupt but something has been brought to my attention that has been bugging me for a while and it's not just the small bickering and arguments and random anon posts.

Lately, while scrolling on the tag, I've become suspicious of a slightly big (?) Lotf account that is clearly lying to people and manipulating them. A few other associates have some forward to me through the past months telling me their suspicions, telling me they feel uncomfortable and are unsure if it's just them. I looked it through, and from an outsiders perspective it's quite easy to tell what this person is doing. Timelines that don't match, suspicious behaviour, outright (?)lying about art and making those who support them always go to their defense.

To me, I'm unsure if people around them know that this person is harmful or if the people around them are truly ignorant of the situation they have been manipulated into. They are believing and some, out right supporting, this false narrative the person has made for themselves. This 'nice persona', that lies and fans the flames in the background, making themselves look better or as the bigger person. They themselves, are essentially an oc that they set a personality for.

Right now, I just want to warn you guys about the people you are trusting, the people you believe to be your "friends" because watching this manipulation happen, having these former tactics being used on me, is like watching younger me again be taken advantage of. I don't care how old or mature you are, please please take a moment and think about if you're truly placing your trust into the right person. I won't personally be saying their username, since I'd much rather send a message and warning. Plus, I do not know what they would do, or what the people who would support them do. I'm not sure if people will even believe me posting this here since I haven't been using this account.

Sometimes I forget that there are anti’s who will call you a pedo if you draw adult characters as anything but extremely hyper masculine or extremely hyper femanine (and by this I mean either extremely curvy or unnaturally muscular, yaknow just those weird expectations for ), even when it comes to characters/oc’s who are like, 18 y/o, and it makes me think they have never seen an actual living person.
