yn works at a convenience store called passion's! kenma has just started working there as well

although he is still a streamer, he is not as popular currently as he would be canonically. also he wanted to work at the convenience store lol. bc cats.

the convenience store they work at often has a few cats and one german shepherd lounging around <3 the owner of the store owns the german shepherd and the cats are mainly strays who have been adopted by the store/become regulars. although this may seem like a health violation, this is common in some areas of japan where cats are effective for boosting sales and exterminating rodents. dogs also help with bringing customers in and keeping the store safe

saeko and y/n are best friends and always platonically flirting with each other. they've taken it upon themselves to take care of kenma and kageyama

everyone can legally drive but kageyama, the professional volleyball player.

he's never had a reason to get a license because he either takes a train or runs somewhere but sometimes his games are too far away but he refuses to sit in a classroom or learn about driving so he just asks other people to drive him if he needs to

kageyama's actually used to live in an apartment below saeko and y/n but he'd ask saeko for rides all the time and eventually they all got well acquainted enough they realized it'd be easier to all split the rent

kenma moved back to kodaira city after living on his own for awhile. he just kind of got bored and asked y/n if he could live with her. not because he needed help, he just wanted to live with friends (although he'd never admit it)

y/n has known saeko since high school. then they went to the same nearby university, had classes together, and started living together while in school.

y/n met kenma while in university through mutual classes. she went to school for a degree in business, and they had a lot of finance classes together while kenma was studying marketing

although she graduated with her degree, she's been struggling to find a job and isn't really that motivated since living with three other people is making things slightly easily so she's happy working at the convenience store

saeko works primarily at a nearby coffee shop (new grounds? 🙂‍↕️) and sometimes does a few odd jobs. also plays with a band ever so often

the 7/11 gc has three cats; sir (gray and white cat), alfredo (spotted black and white cat), and sebastian (black cat totally not named after sdv). kenma wants to bring more cats home from passion's but everyone else says no

saeko's usually up earliest and feeds them all but when it comes to who the cats choose to sleep with sebastian (sebby) is basically y/n's cat, sir chooses between y/n and kenma, alfredo likes to sleep with saeko

kageyama is forever alone

“Ughhhh…” you groan out in pain, as you lay on your side on the couch, a heating pillow resting on the lower part on your stomach.

Period cramps are a bitch but it’s still better than being pregnant, you’d rather take the pain over pregnancy any day.

Thankfully you have the day off, so you can wail in agony at home in peace, while your boyfriend is at his volleyball practice in Kodaira.

It’s late in the afternoon right now and Wakatoshi should be back soon from training.

Not even five minutes later, you hear the front door unlock and a sweaty 6’3 man with dark olive-brown hair and matching olive-colored eyes walks inside, taking off his shoes and neatly putting them aside and then putting on his slippers.

“(Y/N)? Where are you?” The Opposite Hitter asks while he looks for you in your shared apartment.

“I am here Toshi, I am dying.” You call back from the living room couch.

Frowning in concern, he quickly makes his way over to you, breathing out a sigh in relief when he sees you are unharmed. Well at least from his perspective.

“What’s going on? What makes you say you’re dying? You look in a normal state to me.”

Irked by his comment, you reply.

“Well, I am not in a normal state. I am bleeding the size of the Niagara waterfalls and my uterus cramps are killing me. Can’t you end my misery?”

Understanding now what you mean thanks to a prior educational lesson from his team captain Hirugami, he laughs a little bit at your dramatics.

“I love you too much to do anything to you, you know that. You go through this every month though right? And you are still alive and fine whenever it’s over.”

Growling a bit, you grit through your teeth.

“It’s super bad this month Toshi. I feel like Levi Ackerman is slaying the Beast Titan inside of me.”

Reflecting your words, he remembers the advice his captain gave him.

“How about this. You take a nice hot shower and I will order something for us. You want your usual from the Italian restaurant that we sometimes go to?”

Glancing at your boyfriend, you nod while still clutching onto the heating pad for dear life.

Slowly raising yourself from the couch, you waddle in your comfy clothes towards the bathroom for a nice hot shower.

Taking your time, Wakatoshi orders Italian for you, along with some sweet desserts that would help as well with your cravings and ordering some boba tea.

When you walk back into the living room, in your Pusheen pajamas, you almost get teary eyed as you see your favorite food along with a tiramisu, chocolate lava cake and strawberry panna cotta.

What did you do to deserve this guy?

When Wakatoshi walks from the kitchen inside the living room and sees your teary face, he thinks he has done something wrong.

“Did I do something wrong? Do you not like it?”

“Waka… W-Wakatoshi t-this is so n-nice.” You let the tears stream in happiness, your hormones going crazy.

Perplexed by your behavior, he sees you walking towards him and you give him a big hug while soaking his shirt with your tears.

“Eat something my love, afterwards we’ll watch some more of ‘Twenty Five, Twenty One’.” The brunette suggests.

You cry even harder at your partner’s sweetness and soft-heartiness.

Kodaira City's local sentai, Local Promotional Team Kodairanger!

Round Post Red - Themed after the red mailboxes in the city (or perhaps more specifically the giant version!) One of his signature moves is the “Post-in Warp,” which allows him to move from post to post within the city in an instant. His visor is the character "〒" or "postal service"!

Green Road Green - Themed after the Japanese pygmy woodpecker, the city bird. A nature loving hero who wants to make Kodaira City a greener place. His "Tamagawa-josui Jump" and "Green Road Finish" (which is a water burst attack apparently) both seem to be based on the Tamagawa Aqueduct :)

Blueberry Purple - Themed for—if you couldn't guess— blueberries, and more generally fruits and vegetables! One of her signature attacks is called Anthocyanin Breeze, which supposedly blows away the bad thoughts of opponents and turns them into good people...wouldn't it just make them purple, though? Maybe being purple makes you a better person.
