MY EXPERIENCE IN KODAIKANAL WITH MY FAMILY
HELLO, It's me Ajay I am here to share my travel experience to the beautiful place called Kodaikanal. It is a hill station which is located in the Dindigul district in the state of Tamilnadu it is also referred to as the princess of hills stations and I stayed with my family (father, mother, brother, and me). we started our journey from Vellore and we reached Kodaikanal road within 10 years Reached Kodaikanal was another experience I could never forget as the climb up to the hill station was my beautiful attraction. from waterfalls to beautiful views on reaching Kodaikanal we check into our hotel and relaxed as everyone was tired after the long drive with delicious food and amazing cool weather all of us sleep like little babies Kodaikanal had a reputation for having weather changes every minute. It rains, then it becomes sunny and suddenly foggy. Much to do like 3 in 1 offer where people get to experience.
Tumblr media
We visited all the sites and saw Kodaikanal and played games with my family. after the experience, we went to the local brazer which is famous for chocolates. My brother huge is a fan of chocolate and he bought many types of chocolate in the shop. after some time we got drenched in the unpredictable weather and we return back to our rooms and changed our clothes and have so much local food in restaurants it's an amazing place to visit with family and friends. I suggest everyone visit Kodaikanal once in their life cause it will give you an unforgettable experience.
COAKER`S WALK
Tumblr media
One of the popular tourist spots in Kodaikanal, Coaker’s Walk is something worth visiting during your Kodaikanal tour. Constructed by Lt. Coaker in 1872 on whom it has been named, Coaker’s Walk is a narrow pedestrian path which is approximately one km in length.
KODAIKANAL LAKE
Tumblr media
Kodaikanal Lake, also known as Kodai Lake is a manmade lake located in the Kodaikanal city in Dindigul district in Tamil Nadu, India. Sir Vere Henry Levinge, the then Collector of Madurai, was instrumental in creating the lake in 1863, amidst the Kodaikanal town which was developed by the British and early missionaries from USA.
BRYANT PARK
Tumblr media
Kodaikanal tour offers you with many tourist spots. One of the most popular ones is Bryant Park. Situated on the eastern side of Kodaikanal Lake, Bryant Park is a botanical park and a blessing on the hill station for those interested in botany. The park is known for many kinds of flowers, hybrids and grafts.
BEAR SHOLA FALLS
Tumblr media
The Bear Shola Falls derived its name from the fact that bears used to come to this fall for drinking water. The best time to visit the falls is during the rainy season when the water level is at its fullest and thus most beautiful.
