A lot of life happened between the commission date and now, but I'm very proud of how this turned out, and I know that 2021 Rebecca wouldn't have been able to create this, so the time was worth it. (No offense 2021 Rebecca, we've just grown as an artist.)

Okay big-brain tinfoil-hat Marvel theory: Alpine is actually Kobik. Think about it. Alpine doesn't appear until *after* the whole Kobik saga, and then Kobik never appears again. Kobik's colours are blue and white, and Alpine is a white cat with blue eyes. What if Kobik either intentionally or unintentionally took the form of a cat and made her way back to Bucky?

Natasha and Bucky both being shown to enjoy children and want to protect them; but never being able to have them is some of the saddest writing. Bucky with Kobik and RJ as a mentor only to have them taken away by someone worse than him. Natasha shown to protect women and children over and over again on missions. Having her own two children dead or out of reach. Marvel knows what they are doing with this sadistic writing.

I know I'm very many days late to the party (but it wasnt that much when i started writing this post), but why does everyone want Bucky to have short hair? I was so excited for Thunderbolts because in the comics, he has ravenous gorgeous long hair. As the director of the run said herself, the goal of Tunderbolts was to a) make the most Bucky angst and b) have him in all the cutest hairstyle possible. So if I don't have half-nacked man bun tired but cooking for the teammates Bucky, I'm gonna call it the worst adaptation.

Hiiiii! I haven’t had a Bucky blog in ages but man, that supersoldier just can’t keep me away 😂 Relatable?

A few notes about my blog so I can pin this to the top and hopefully find the people to follow and interact with!
