Imagine Simm, in control the earth, demanding CBeebies plays more of the tweenies, and forcing them to remake Delgado's favourites.

Imagine Missy being really pissed off that the doctor supportive of her watching children's tv bc it teaches empathy, but once she starts watching raven and trapped and dic and dom in the bungalow, ones with less empathy lessons as he deems them, he stops paying for a tv licence and she can't watch any of her shows - not even tellitubies or the thimbles. Nardole offers to teach him to set up parental controls (it's the 80s but they have vpn -but don't have access to youtube) he hates the fact nardole would have to teach him something, so he says no. She doesn't talk to him for a week. After a month of missy breaking out stelling his or some random student's laptop breaking back in, falsifing having a tv licence and settling into aa CBEEBIES/cbbc binge. (She loves trapped) before the doctor caves in, and lets nardole show him how to set parental controls. One day of missy calling him 'daddy' is all it takes to gross him out even that he takes off all parental controls with her there. She still calls him daddy occasionally to piss him off, the doctor hates it A LOT. Imagine her being so pissed that she needs cartoon network to watch roadrunner and kyote. Imagine her being super pissed that the doctor can't remember how to move vpn's date forward and as such bluey is not a thing yet.

Imagine Dhawan watching The Koala Brothers to try to estimate to Australia culture. Imagine him having Thomas the tank engine on boxset in his cabin. Imagine him watching trapped and breaking down because his doctor doesn't pay him any attention, not like missy's doctor did. So he's back having to plan and execute these elaborate schemes, just so she'd look his way. He can not watch the tweenies bc it reminds him of Simm!master and he's why the doctor thought missy hadn't wanted him, and why he is this fucked up now. Imagine Ryan seeing all his early 2000s kids show boxsets (they have there own shelf it is anything but neat.) and just assuming he has childhood trauma and flakey wifi. When Yaz is first back from beginning transported through the universe to the otherside of the world in spy ep 1 he suggests they put on some kids tv to help her calm, he asks if O has any tweenies, the master's mask slips a little as he grows 'no, that is the worst shittist show ever' Ryan apologise and backs off assumes O associates it w traumatic things and he had hit a nerve (he's not wrong)

I wish they'd made a proper running gag of the Master watching children's television. Imagine Ainley sitting down and watching Thomas the Tank Engine

I personally headcanon that Silver!Simm Master just about melts the moment hes shown true affection. Wrap your arms around him and don't expect to be allowed to leave his side because even if he has to carry you wrapped around him like a koala by damn this man needs a cuddle.
