A Demon Slayer painting I did back in 2020. Looks a lil rough now to me but I still like it. It was super hard to get this rendered the way I wanted.

My coworker joined our anime conversation and said he HATED demon slayer because of the “splash art” (??) Like he doesn’t like that the creator said the elements and flashy things that happen when they’re fighting isn’t real.

I would then say, pretend they’re real? Why hate the whole show because of one creative decision. Maybe they can do magic? Idk it’s pretty cool that they can stop themselves from bleeding out of fatal wounds with just breathing differently.

If you think the show would be cool with just normal samurai taking on demons, that’s cool. But why hate a whole show that’s doing really good because of it??? He was so aggressive about it “I HATE Demon Slayer OMG the art, the splash art!!” I just don’t understand.
