Reminder Reflections 220
Self-care also includes taking space trom people who stress you out. It may not be their intention but that doesn’t matter. What matters is how you feel. Take space from people who are making it hard for you to stay afloat amongst everything else trying to drown you right now.

Life Lessons Learned From Driving With a Run Flat Tire
Driving with a run flat tire can be a daunting experience. It can leave you feeling frustrated and helpless, not to mention unsafe. But, it can also be a great opportunity to learn life lessons. Here are a few life lessons learned from driving with a run flat tire:
Patience is a virtue. Driving with a run flat tire is no easy feat. It takes patience and understanding to navigate the road safely. Patience will be rewarded, as it can help you get to your destination on time, and with less stress.
Know your limits. Driving with a run flat tire can be dangerous, but if you know your limits, you can take the necessary safety precautions and make sure you don’t get into any accidents.
Have a plan. Having a plan when driving with a run flat tire can help you be better prepared for any potential hazards along the way. Make sure you know the route you’re taking, and plan out how you’re going to get to your destination.
Be prepared. Make sure you carry a spare tire and the necessary tools to change it, in case you need to. This way, you’ll be ready for any unexpected situations.
Take care of yourself. Driving with a run flat tire can be stressful. Make sure you take time to relax and refresh yourself. Listen to music, have a snack, or take a break to take a walk.
These lessons can be applied to many areas of life, not just driving with a run flat tire. No matter what challenges you face, take a moment to pause and reflect on what you can learn. Patience, knowing your limits, having a plan, being prepared, and taking care of yourself are all important life lessons that will help you navigate any situation.

Only invest what you can afford to lose. This expression is frequently used in relation to financial investments. This means that you should only invest the amount of money you can afford to lose without having a significant impact on your financial well-being before making any investment decisions.
There is always some risk involved in investing, and there is no assurance that you will earn a profit or even receive your initial investment back in full. Thusly, it's critical to painstakingly think about your monetary circumstance, objectives, and chance resilience to decide how much cash you can easily designate towards speculations without setting yourself in a shaky monetary position.
By adhering to this principle, you can reduce the potential negative effects of a failed investment on your overall financial health. You can be sure that you won't put your financial security at risk for the sake of a potential gain by only investing what you can afford to lose.#InvestSmart #FinancialLiteracy #KnowYourLimits #RiskManagement #InvestingTips #MoneyMatters #InvestmentAdvice #InvestResponsibly #FinancialPlanning #InvestmentStrategy

Be your biggest critic...
Second attempt cleaning this 100kg sandbag (I did it before but didn't film it... So it technically never happened 🫤)
Recording your workouts help you see where you have gone wrong and what you need to do to improve
Thankfully this was a lower back muscle strain (felt terrible on the day) and not a disc, ligament or facet joint injury
How do I know it was just a muscle strain?
The next day I felt better and improved significantly day by day. I was still able to workout but reduced my load and volume accordingly.
Disc injuries can cause neurological pain into the legs and present as a dull ache that never eases
Ligament strain (which it could have been) would have taken longer to heal and would have placed me in more discomfort for longer (I would have taken 3-4 days maybe rather than just the one day to start feeling better)
Facet joint damage would have me in very sharp, acute pain, taking longer than 1 Day to feel better
As my tag line says... This is where osteopathy and fitness merge 🔀

Wait
The anticipation makes life exciting and we want to know the outcome immediately. We wait patiently for the results we pictured to unfold in front of us. When we wait to long we become frustrated and intolerant thinking why can’t we have what we want now. If wanting something new, to acquire a skill or talent the undue diligence required to get there can be daunting. Learning to wait our turn can be difficult.
If we become victims when we don’t get what we want this keeps us from moving forward. Everyone has to wait in line sometimes and we need to develop a temperance to make it to the end. We learn patience and get better at waiting when we know more about who we are and what we observed. There are circumstances that make it harder to wait, ‘recognize” at times we need more patience and have the conversation with ourselves to relax and wait.
Relax and breathe,
Know our limit,
We have time.
We all want special treatment and not to have to wait in line. When we work hard towards what we want, know waiting is the fun and excitement. It takes patience and diligence to create what we want and this is for all who dream.

my final exercise of the day require extreme concentration. I had learned just because one group of muscles are worn out doesn’t mean another can’t take over. Today's Knowing Your Limit is on the topic of peer pressure!
Many people drink socially, which is fine as long as they only consume a few drinks. Social drinkers drink in patterns that have low risks for addiction — although social drinking patterns can occasionally develop into abuse or addiction, but most people can control these drinking habits.
Tip 2: ‘No’ is okay and doesn’t make you less cool!
Social drinking becomes a problem when people feel pressured to drink more than they normally would. When this happens, people might engage in binge drinking, which the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism defines as consuming five or more alcoholic drinks on one occasion. Friends can pressure you into consuming more alcohol than you normally would in the following ways:
Drinking a round of shots together
Playing drinking games
Encouraging you to consume “just one more” drink
Takeaway from today's post: Knowing your limit allows you to be aware of your surroundings and enables you to make the right decisions i.e. saying ‘no’ to just one more.
Head over to our insta www.instagram.com/drinksurviveovercome and check out our story - which condenses some of Ireland’s favorite drinks into one location. Have a good Friday weekend warriors x

Fun story, sometimes @chiyoonc takes our little dog to work with her. She took Jeen-Li (dog) with her the other day and around 8pm I get a call from CY telling me that JL was shaking and her back legs weren't working and that she was taking her to the vet. I was a little panicky since the dog just had a vet appointment the week before and there was nothing wrong. My first reaction was "What asshole left pills laying around!?" Jumping to that conclusion since I've seen humans react the same way. Cy calls me from the vet and says the doctor took one look at JL and said, " that dog is high, did you leave edibles around? I see this EVERY day" CY says "Hell no, we don't have any in our house, I was at work and it must be one of the other people working there" She and the dog came home and the poor pooch laid under a blanket on our bed with huge pupils and bugged out eyes and just stared into space all night. (I've also seen this behavior in humans) she was fine the next day. I've know a number of dogs (and humans) over the years who've got into a plate of pot brownies or cookies and eaten the whole batch. #toomuchtoosoon #knowyourlimit
