I have immense personal beef with him alongside the actual fucked up things he's done, but perhaps that's for another day.

For now, let's talk about dream girl 2 which BLATANTLY boasts the ever-problematic man-in-a-dress trope-

I mean, sure, one can argue that's the whole point of the movie, but one look at the trailer will tell you it's so horribly and insensitively written this time around.

Dream girl 1 was about loneliness- specifically, male loneliness, and how all anyone ever wants is to be heard. And about how people would probably understand you if they're just given a chance. And contains the lines "nobody in this world is right. Some are just less wrong than others."

Dream girl 2 is quite literally about a man who dresses up as a woman to prostitute himself for money. No joke.

Oh, and it gets worse. None of the men actually know he's a guy. So it's pushing the message that he's "tricking them." It's not even subtext like that's literally the entire premise. A man dresses up as a woman to trick innocent men. For money.

It's transphobic, it's severely misogynistic, and it's somehow also fetishistic in the worst way possible. I mean the entire promo was based on sexual marketing. I hope it was all for nothing and the movie fucking bombs.

Also, Ayushmann Khurrana, who is literally geriatric at almost 40, romances a 24 year old Ananya Pandey.

And, yes, this is typical for Bollywood. But for a chucklefuck who once prided himself on being "offbeat" and "brave" and "non-mainstream" and "feminist" this is a very chucklefuck thing to do.

Keep in mind that all of this comes after Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (which does have its flaws, but the heart and intent was definitely there), a movie that celebrated trans women and literally was created to beat the stereotypes surrounding them. For which he pretended to be a trans ally for a whole YEAR AND A HALF as part of promotions.

So the sudden switch up with dg2 is... Appalling. To say the least.

Apart from this, he also used to post regularly about social/civic issues and problems in our country, which he entirely stopped doing once his movies bombed. And, yes, nobody should be expected to do that. But keep in mind, once again, this man's entire career was built off marginalised communities. Especially the queer community. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan caused like a 40% jump in his ig followers. I would know, because I was there.

Which led him to receive more roles in this little niche he loved so much.

The man was cocky enough to think a couple movies would change the world, let the arrogance get to his thick fucking skull, and decided tackling controversial topics won't come at a cost. (Well, newsflash, asshole! Oppression doesn't exist because marginalised people aren't trying hard enough to get their words out. It exists because it fucking exists. No amount of your mug on the big screen would have ever changed that).

He essentially went into this niche with all the wrong intentions. Not to speak up FOR queer people, women, scheduled castes, etc, but with the arrogance that he'll actually change the mind of the masses. God complex, more or less. Or saviour complex. Or both.

A few years ago, he'd made it clear that he's an actor, not an activist.

Mf forgot that himself somewhere along the way.

So, what did he do when his offbeat movies started failing back to back?

Packed up and turned his back on the very people he hollered about and celebrated himself for representing.

Went right into the cushy arms of mainstream, problematic, cringe, crass, insensitive side of Bollywood. For money.

Fucking hypocrite.

Rani had a colleague named Sumen Mitra (Namit Das) who liked her and wanted to marry her, but no! In spite of Sumen giving her everything that he could, she had to fall for the “bad boy”, Rocky! Rocky’s funny attitude, muscular physique, and macho style had impressed her at first glance. In the scene where they first met, and Rocky left, she was laughing aloud! I truly believe that if you can make a woman smile or laugh after meeting you, she's fallen for you! In Hindi, it's a popular saying, "Hasi To Fasi!" It has been revealed after studying the psychology of women that women mostly prefer the “bad guy” over the “good guy”. To be honest, I was actually feeling sorry for the poor guy, Sumen. There were scenes where Rocky’s sister was getting rejected by multiple men who were visiting her home with their parents for an arranged marriage with her. And she had the habit of speaking the wrong phrases, which turned out to be vulgar. In another scene, when the paralyzed Kanwal Lund (Rocky’s grandfather) met the love of his life Jamini (Rani’s grandmother), he suddenly got up from his wheelchair, started singing for her, and to the amazement of every family member of Rocky and Rani, he caught hold of her and planted a kiss on her lips. Seeing Dharmendra romancing at this age, was hilarious in itself. After all, he is 87 years old! The cinematography was pleasant and the sets and backgrounds were very much visually appealing. Shooting commenced at various breathtaking locations of Mumbai, Delhi, and Jammu and Kashmir in India and also at international locations like Moscow, Russia. Moreover, the songs and their choreography were amazing! Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani happens to be a musical drama and the songs, which comprised several Bollywood retro songs, took up most of the screen time which stretched the screenplay by a good amount. The Bad: If you think that I will praise this movie like all other critics are doing, you are mistaken! This three-hour-long movie is as boring as hell! I mean, there’s nothing new to the story! It’s just a young man and woman of opposite cultures who are falling in love and stretching the screenplay for a good long three hours. The plot is too ordinary and there’s nothing new to it. After all, Rocky and Rani would unite at the end and it would be a sure-shot happy ending. The three-hour screenplay was overloaded with so much melodrama about family arguments, humour, and emotions that it got very frustrating. There are too many lip-locking scenes in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have fired up the screen with their intense smooches. They just can't seem to get enough of each other! Both have bored me so much with their mindless melodrama and cheap dialogues that I would like to never see their movies ever again! Do you call this a family movie that you can watch with your children? I don’t, but maybe someone like Karan Johar does! I genuinely cannot praise the performances of any actors in this movie. The supporting cast, Jaya Bachchan as Rocky’s grandmother, Dharmendra as Rocky’s grandfather, Aamir Bashir as Rocky’s father, Shabana Azmi as Rani’s grandmother, and Tota Roy Chowdhary as Rani’s father, have indeed given their best. The very concept of this movie is wrong. It promotes extramarital affairs. When Kanwal was already married and was living with his wife Dhanlakshmi, it was not appropriate for him to start dating his long-lost crush Jamini, behind his wife. It was true that Kanwal was mentally unstable after falling down the stairs when he was young, but that does not justify the extramarital affair that he started pursuing with Jamini, whose abusive husband was dead. ANANYA PANDEY

She is undoubtedly Bollywood’s new kid on the block. Elder girl of movie actor Chunkey Pandey and Bhavna Pandey, she has been awarded Best Debut for 2020 both by Filmfare and Zee Cine awards for her role in the teen film Student of the Year 2.

She is Ananya Pandey.

An alumnus of Dhirubhai Ambani International School in 2017, Ananya made her acting debut in 2019 with the teen film Student of the Year 2, co-starring Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria, which was produced by Dharma Productions. She next starred in Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), a remake of the 1978 film of the same name, alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. She played a secretary who indulges in an affair with a married man, which was portrayed by Ranjeeta in the original. With a worldwide gross of ₹1.15 billion (US$16 million), it emerged as a commercial success.

Her fortcoming project is the action film Khaali Peeli, co-starring Ishaan Khatter. Also in the pipeline is Shakun Batra’s as-yet untitled romantic drama, alongside Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She will also team with Vijay Deverakonda for Puri Jagannadh’s as-yet untitled multilingual film

Last year, she launched an initiative named ‘So Positive’ to create awareness about social media bullying, prevent negativity and build a positive community. At the 2019 Economic Times Awards, the project was named the Best Initiative of the Year

Can you give a glimpse of your background before everyone came to know you?

Ananya- I was a shy girl basically. My sister is the naughty brat. Because i hail from a film family, because of my Papa, while in school only, i developed interest for acting. I used to follow Aishwarya Rai a lot (Gigges)

How are you as a person off camera? Give us a glimpse of your personal life for our readers (favourite food, hobbies, etc)

Ananya- (Laughs) I love baking cakes. And whenever that happens, me and my sister fight over who’s going to have more. I am crazy about Bollywood music, I play them all the time. I love Disney movies too. Lion King being my favourite. I am a damn good bathroom singer too (laughs)

Tell us about your acting process, How do you prepare for a role in general? Are you a methodical actor or a spontaneous one?

Ananya- Yeh sawal ka jawab toh Papa de payenge ( chuckles). Well, I am yet to evolve as a spontaneous actor. I really have to work hard. My Papa helps me a lot. And in the two movies I have acted so far, my co-actors supported me very much, especially Kartik Aaryan.

Your biggest inspiration?

Ananya- Dadi. She is 81 years old, still gets up early in the morning, goes out for work too, and remains active till 9 PM at night. She’s a doctor. I think thats amazing.

What are the five things you surely carry when you move out of your house?

Ananya- Hmm. My mobile phone for sure, my favourite deo, lipstick as per colour of the day, my credit cards (laughs) and of course something to munch.

What are your favourite films?

Ananya- Kabhi khushi kabhi gam, Kal Ho na Ho, kuch kuch hota hai.. and of course Student of the Year 2. Basically all Dharma production films (chuckles)

What’s your favourite colour?

Ananya- PINK for sure. I am the Pink girl (laughs).

What is your style statement?

Ananya- Its super chill, very casual and clothes and make me comfortable. I hate flashy, dark cokoured heavy clothing.

Your favourite song?

Ananya- Pretty Woman from the movie Kal Ho na Ho. I think its written for me. (blushes!)

Who’s you latest celebrity crush?

Ananya- Late comers. I am very particular about time, and i get very hassled if people are late,

Ananya- I remember the first autograph I signed (chuckles). It was on the first day of the shoot for Student of the Year 2. Otherwise, fans and people whom I meet during parties, film premiers, social gatherings, events etc. mostly try to take selfie / groupfie photos with me. Autographs bahut kam log mangte hain. Yes, I remember, whwn I was a kid, Papa used to sign lots of autographs for fans.

14th June 2020 an unexpected news suddenly blew up like a wildfire. The News of Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. It was a deep shock and not only his death sent shockwaves but in course of few months post his death lot of things surfaced up.

After closely following each and every post related to him and his death on social media or news within period of approximate 2 months lot of theories and stories surfaced up very steadily. We came to know various stories and realities not just about Sushant but a new term called “BOLLYWOOD MAFIA”. The most shocking fact that Bollywood has some small group of Actors,directors and even producers etc who control the whole Industry and secretly used to rule bollywood. Few names that came up at initial stage were Karan Johar,Salman Khan,Arbaaz Khan etc. 

Few times later when probe continued more names tried to come but they were baseless allegations. I really have no idea about others but yes Karan Johar is one of the main culprit behind Sushant’s Suicide. Karan Johar has known  to spoil many careers and lives of people who did not have a filmy background or were not star kids like our dear Alia Bhatt, Ananya pandey or whosoever. After the death of Sushant, KJOS life was also deeply affected and he faced lot of trolls and abuses. However he deserves it according to me also.I came to know that for 2016 awards for best actor award deserved to go to Sushant for MS DHONI: Untold story but it went to Amitabh Bachchan for PINK. This was done by bollywood mafia supposedly and either directly or indirectly Karan Johar was involved.

Here it is that SSR commit suicide. The above link proves it.But as earlier said “Behind every suicide there is a Murderer”. This same line was said in Hrithik Roshan starrer “KAABIL” in 2017. I do not remember exact dialogue but it was somehow like this.

Sushant SIngh Rajput’s unexpected suicide SPILLED LOT OF BEANS and lot of dark secrets, links, names of influential people etc to the extent even his ex manager’s suicide popped up. All it took was a death to open up lot of things and facts. 

Latest Development is Rhea Chakraborty has been jailed and is being investigated as lot of secrets of her have also come up which are quite bizzare. This complaint was made by Rajput’s father. I really do not know that whether she is also equally a part of crime or it is just a diversion to save Bollywood Mafia and she is being made a scapegoat or she is also a part of the so called Bollwyood MAFIA. 

Only time will tell as in news it has come that Supreme Court has rejected PIL to allow CBI to barge in the case of his suicide. Salman Khan, in an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, speaks on his Eid 2019 release Bharat, Katrina Kaif, the kind of scripts he chooses and more.

It is the evening before the release of Bharat. Salman Khan's big return to the big screen. His last Eid release was a dampener and all hopes are pinned on Bharat, the film that will see Salman reuniting with Katrina Kaif after 2017's Tiger Zinda Hai.

The superstar speaks to IndiaToday.in on Bharat eve. Excerpts from the conversation:

What is 'Bharat' - the idea of Bharat - for you?

Bharat. The film Bharat, we have produced and we are very proud of. Bharat to me, is the place where I was born, the place where I will die. There is no better place anywhere than Bharat.

When the Prime Minister swore in, you could not attend because of Veeru Devgan's death. Has it always been family and friends above everything else for you?

Yes, it's always been that. When you see my whole journey, it's always been about my friends and my family. For them too, it's been the same thing. For those people for whom they are not, they are obviously not for family. So obviously, it has to be reciprocal. And if you also see from the time I started, from Maine Pyar Kiya, the love that I have got from the fans, from kids, from senior people, from just about everyone... it's been phenomenal. So it has just been a really really phenomenal journey. All these 30+ years that I have been in the industry. I think since the time I was born.

You have ruled the film industry for the past 30 years...

Not ruled... I wouldn't say ruled...

I think the most part is love in your case...

Yes, it's love.

In Sultan, we saw that belly. In Tubelight, we saw you as a simpleton. In Bharat, we have you as a 70-year-old. After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, has it been a conscious effort to step out of your comfort zone?

This is actually my comfort zone. When you have a great script, and it is demanding in the same kind of genre... it is actually that. What is difficult is to make a bad script work. No matter how good you are, no matter how good you are as an actor... you can never pull off a bad script.

From Bajrangi Bhaijaan in the recent past, you have chosen scripts that resonate with your audience.

It was much before Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It was during a time when I got complacent and I used to do films that my friends produced, ki yeh ho jaayega, kar lenge. And then I realised that it was mediocre work. And that also I did because there was nothing better that was coming my way. I gave those films my best, or whatever I could put in, some emotion... and they also did very well.

Then I tried something different in Tere Naam. Tere Naam se... these films were different kinds of films; same genre but emotions, drama, romance, comedy, but the backdrop was different. It is more something, more someone, more love, larger than life, maybe love for the country, maybe a Tiger, or Radhe for love, or Bajrangi Bhaijaan for this little girl... I've been fortunate that so far I've been able to do all of that.

As soon as I hear the script, the narration of a film, if I doze off or I feel sleepy or say that 'theek hai, ek aur baar sunenge', that means I will never do that film. I have to really, intensely like the subject in the first narration. I hear the plot first, then if the plot is interesting, I hear the whole subject, and after that, the suggestions come in and we work on it.

Sometimes also there's a lot of improvisation in it, then the plot is discussed in the living room or in the hotel room; the entry, exit, dialogues, the new things coming up. So that also, so far it's been working. So far, by the grace of God, it's been all correct. But you never know which kind of film the audience will lap up.

Nobody wants to make a flop film. They all want to make a Mughal-E-Azam. They all want to be better than the last film, better than the success and appreciation of the last film. I always want to make the best film ever.

Whenever we promote a film, everyone talks really good things about the film because they genuinely like the movie. It's not like picture kar li, aur iske baare mein jhoot bol de aake. Aisa nahi hota hai kabhi. They have been to the films and liked it, that's why they come out and talk good things about the film and are excited about the film's release.

After the Lok Sabha results, you tweeted Swachch Bharat, Fit Bharat. Was it also meant to say that your film is a clean, fit-for-family film?

No no... I am promoting the film Bharat any which way. The film is shot in Bharat mostly. I also make sure that wherever I go, I promote that state. Like I was in Madhya Pradesh, I promoted Madhya Pradesh. Earlier I went to Arunachal Pradesh, I went to Kashmir.

Wherever I go, without being the brand ambassador of any place, I go and promote that place because our country is really beautiful and I feel tourism should happen in our country.

So we went to Switzerland because Kashmir mein tab problem chal raha tha. But then we shot Bajrangi in Kashmir, and back-to-back two films we shot there. I love going to Kashmir to shoot.

A lot of films you do, you can shoot them just like that. But for a film like Bharat, where there is a historical narrative, do you study these references? Or do you leave it to the director and surrender yourself to him?

Yes, I mean I know mota-mota about the film. Once the information is given [to me], then I check it. Is mein yeh hai ki World Cup ka reference hai, and that whole Abu Dhabi ke andar jab tel nikla tha and how people went there. And woh Merchant Navy ka ek daur aaya tha jab sab Merchant Navy join kar rahe thay. The Jai Jawan Jai Kisan part, then Railway mein naukri hai... a lot of these things are there. And then of course, there is the backdrop, this larger-than-life picture.

The songs in your films are usually a mix of Hindi and English, written for you, to match your persona and the story. Are you also involved in the creation of the music in your films?

In my own films, yes, I am a huge part of the music. I take the final call on the music. Yeh gaana achha nahi laga, yeh gaana theek hai, change karo... Ali [Abbas Zafar, the director of Bharat] himself also has an ear for good music and Vishal-Shekhar are very good musicians. So five or six songs that we have, they all have to be good.

Woh time chala gaya hai ki gaana ko hammer karte karte karte karte woh gaana ek cringe value ke andar chala jaata tha. But now, the gaana is the first thing about any movie. There is a lot of pressure on the music directors, there is a lot of pressure on the director, to select the right song.

Har ek ka taste alag alag hai. Music hi kuch different chal raha hai. Mai kuch alag hi music karta hoon. That's also doing well. People say it's Salman Khan, that's why it's good. But that's not what it is. If it sounds good, feels good, people listen to it and we think yeh chalega, and zyadatar yeh jo gaane hai, woh jab koi do-teen saal ka bachcha woh gaana gaana shuru karta hai, woh barometer hai ki yeh gaana hit hai. I am not looking at the music pandits to give their opinions on the song. The opinion for me is, I think, of that kid.

I am not making films for [other] actors or I am not making films ki other directors are impressed or [for] the critics. I am making films so that my fans go to the theatre and have a great time. Thoda kuch seekhne ko mila, thoda dance kare, thoda sa roye, aur thoda sa us character ka 10-15 per cent ghar pe leke jaaye and usko implement kare.

Your films are fit for everyone to watch. They will never have an awkward moment in a Salman Khan film.

I myself am very awkward in those moments. You can never say never, but so far... I have never done it.

Katrina recently said that she can't be in every Salman Khan film. Are you involved in choosing the actress opposite you in your productions?

No... not really. Woh... if the director suggests that let's get Katrina, then Katrina. For example, I've done Dabangg. There was this thought that Dabangg 2 ke andar, we will take Chulbul Pandey's character and go ahead. But I said that it is the whole family's journey. There's Sona [Sonakshi Sinha], there's Mahesh [Manjrekar], the cop gang... The villains keep on changing but I think we should stick by this that if it's Sona, whenever there is a Dabangg, we will have Sona there. Now, Kick will come. In Kick, Jackie [Jacqueline Fernandez] will be there. The Tiger series will always have Katrina. It's the continuation of that one film, those characters. We can't keep on changing the heroines.

We know a lot of good things about you. What is the one thing that you think is bad about you?

Lots of bad things... Really bad things. But I can't share them. Those bad things I will take with me to the grave!
