Video 2: How to make fringe for my #ColorCodeBlanket (unraveling) Have you ever made incorporated fringe? 😄 . Here is how I make them: 1. Add extra stitches at the beginning and/or end of the row for your future fringe. 8 sts with gauge 18 sts per 4" create about 6" loop after unraveling. 2. Work them along with the pattern. 3. Leave fringe stitches open while making bind off row. 4. Carefully unravel fringe stitches going along the sides. At the same time, tie overhand knots on several unraveled loops. 5. It's worked over 2 sts: K1 tbl the second st without dropping it from LH needle, K1 tbl and drop both sts from LH needle. . Meet one more video about double decreases: sskp and k3tog. They are not so popular as s2kp and sk2p but I use sskp and k3tog in my Leaf Out shawl pattern. . 🔹 Sskp - slip 1st st knitwise, slip 2nd st knitwise, knit 1 st, pass slipped sts over (left-slanting decrease) . 🔹 K3tog - knit 3 sts together (right-slanting decrease) . . #tetianaotruta_tutorials #LeafOutShawl #knitvideo #videotutorial #knittutorial #otrutadesign
