Forgot to share this thing I did of my Swords and Bones Ship in their Ultimate stage. Which is something I hadn’t done in a long while, and also been awhile since I posted on here aksks. found a website that allows one to make their own digivolution lines, decided to make a few for fun

first group of digivolution lines are based on the digimon project I really need to work on more (I have a version with most of the unknown digimon filled, but I'd rather keep some of them a secret)

second was just experimental, themed "bonk vs stab"

the blank lines between rookie and ultimate are "default" lines for each road (I also had to take ... creative liberties for bonk)

Digimon Partner: Roxy Edition

(edit: Roxy never clicked enter and this was in our drafts so i'm sharing it) So since Abayomi and Princess did one of these, I felt like I would as well. Similarly to Princess I will just be doing one digivolution lines primarily because the typical default Line for the Rookie is pretty much perfect as well, but I wanted to have fun with it. So lets begin

ROOKIE/CHILD: Gabumon!

When we were a kid, we gravitated towards the character of T.K(and Kari but we kept that a secret.) and while T.K wasn't Gabumons partner... Gabumon was the partner of Matt/Yamato, T.K's older brother. So we tend to think of Gabumon as a protector and really close to us. Given that Gabumons default line of Garurumon>Weregarurumon>Metalgarurumon goes into a wolf theme with some frost elements, it also seemed like a natural fit for me. That being said, I will come up with a new evolution line that represents the protective nature to reflect that nature, and my love of warriors/paladins/knights, while still keeping the color scheme and and even the Wolf theme for the most part!

Champion/Adult: Wolfmon/Lobomon

Wolfmon sticks to the wolf theming and introduces swordplay. Wolfmon also has some other great connections. Wolfmon is the spirit evolution for the Spirit of life, which was held by Koji in digimon Frontiers (a series where the humans become the digimon). This is fun because Kojis arc involves reconnecting with his brother, which is kind of a nice connection as to why Gabumon was a natural choice for me. ULTIMATE/PERFECT: Knightmon

Knightmon loses the wolf motif and focuses more on the armored knight aspect but I think it already builds on the direction Wolfmon was going. It doubles down on the warrior and protective aspects that I feel so connected to. This also connects to the T.K Yamato connection that is important to me. Knightmons shield carries the crest of Hope on it, which was the crest associated with T.K.

And now its time to return to the wild... MEGA/ULTIMATE: Cres Garurumon

Cresgarurumon is what this has all been building up to. Cres-garurumon is first a callback to the traditional line of Gabumon(and in fact Gabumon did digivolve into it in the 2020 version of Digimon adventure) but it also builds on those knightly aspects of the digivolution line I shared here. The color scheme also I feel works nicely throughout the line, the yellows, greys/silvers, and purple can be seen throughout the entire line! each stage also focuses on a different fighting style!! Dual wielding, sword and board, and two handers.

Okay, so, uhhhhhhh, we got a little situation right here.

You see, Chrissy here has somehow managed to evo fail despite meeting the battle requirements and, as far as I'm aware, having no care mistakes. This might be the "chance" feature this device has where if you don't do everything PERFECTLY, you have a chance still evo-failing regardless. I guess that's what happened here.

Usually there's no worries, I can just pull out a DM20th and throw a 'mon from the brick to the pendulum and have it jogres, but since I have no batteries... well, Mistletoe the Christmas Cat over here is gonna be stuck like that for a while (unless I see if there's something I can do with my a-com... kinda just remembered I had that lmao).

While I can't boot up a DM20th for some help, the device itself has backup 'mons I can use to get me out of this mess!

Remember this little bugger from my Vital Brace? He's the only adult-level 'mon from the password system these devices had, so I loaded him in, aaaaand... it doesn't work. I don't think it's because it FOR SOME REASON defaulted to the left when I did this with Chrissy selected, but because THESE Copymon can only jogres with other specific mons- if they can even jogres at all. The only way I'm getting rid of this dude is by making my now Knightmon Jolly ALSO jogres, making this run move quicker than I ever anticipated. Tis the season, I guess.

Since the PSVita didn't really do all that well outside of Japan, I felt that these backgrounds were obscure. So yea.
