Yeah I love this. See, I love Lindsay and Derek together, but not as lovers, just friends. I say #Klendez as a celebration of their friendship not their "supposed" love. Guys I happened to see a fic on wattpad today.. about the two of them and it was... disgusting to be perfectly honest. We can dream of them getting together all we want but at the end of the day, they are very real , very MARRIED people. We can obsess over their onstage chemistry and their ALAYM, but again, at the end of the day, they were playing characters. You can say "Oh my gosh they're so cute!", I'VE said that many times, but if you get to the point where you are literally putting real life them in s*xual positions?? You may want to rethink some things.

What are we talking about? Klendez. And no, not just the existence of two people named Lindsay Mendez and Derek Klena or my personal secondhand embarrassment over couple names. This post is about the people in this world who write fanfiction that is romantic and sexual in nature about these two very real very normal actors and post it on the internet.

If you really want to read an example or gape in horror: here it is!

Why is this crazy? Beyond the fact that Lindsay and Derek who are real people and both seriously involved with not each other, it’s really really weird to take a performer you like and begin crafting elaborate fantasies about their personal life for your own personal enjoyment. These are people who give their all to entertain you onstage, the least you could do is respect them and not turn them into characters to play with and put into situations that real-actual Lindsay and Derek would probably find WICKED uncomfortable.
