I know folks like the idea of Klaasje and Ruby running off together post-game, and tbh i can see that happening because it's clear Ruby gives 100% for almost nothing in return, but she deserves betttteerrrr

I only like Ruby x Klaasje post-game if it SUCKS. Klaasje immediately snubbing Ruby the moment a guy on the road shows her interest, falling back to Ruby when they move on again, Ruby falling for it ("falling for it" she knows. She knows it'll happen again) every time because who else can she trust except the only woman in the world who may be MORE fucked by life than her?

Klaasje throwing herself at these men because she DOES love Ruby, and that scares the shit out of her. And, hey, if she keeps fucking around and doing drugs then Ruby will get sick of her and leave at some point, right? (She won't)

I like a good kin x harry cute drawing as much as the next person but I really don't fuck around the culture of that ship. You want toxic homosexuality used as self harm ? Ruby and Klaasje are just right there, in cannon, and it takes nothing away from their characterisation. (I'm sorry but harry and Kim would.just simply never do that, harry is really not at the point were he can examine his own desire and still fixates on his ex-wife. Kim is not obsessed with harry to the point of dropping his standards that much. It's good on paper, and is a real cute AU but like, on the other side of the story, ruby and Klaasje are litteraly having a doomed and dooming manipulative situationship that might have the both of them ultimately killed.

LOVE RUBY X KLAASJE. unrequited toxic yuri...<3. I should definitely talk about them more. Faking the lynching together, betrayal.... Just your regular Gals Being Pals things. I love the fandom headcanon that they are on the roadtrip post-canon (bonus points if they have adopted cunoesse). I imagine them as very bitter exes but maybe they can somewhat rekindle their relationship a little bit

Jean x Judit.... confession time but I think it has potential. There are some scenes that seem to imply that it actually might be canon (like Jean having Judit's gloves and Judit being happy about it). Judit cheating on her shitty husband with her (also kinda shitty) boss is some juicy drama. Of course she deserves better but sometimes you have to let a woman have her atrociously bad taste in men, that's just canon event

**GRAFFITI BURNING*** DISCO ELYSIUM

The game ended kind of unexpectedly. I thought we were closing out this "chapter" and entering a new leg of the story, but it ended. I said "HUH?!" out loud when the credits started playing.

A really great game. I know why its writing is so praised now. The whole roll for X/do an X check for dialogue working out in your favor was new and exotic to me. RPG stats? Idk.

I loovvvvvved Kim 🥺 I wanted to give him radio/ techy magazines and hear him talk about his precious car. And some of Harry's shitty mean irrelevant dialogue options made me want to stop being a moral cop and let him kill himself with drugs. My anger subsided and I forced him to be mostly good.

I got the feeling I missed a lot of things despite re opening saves to re try things a bunch. I did re-open my save like 20 times to see what's inside the container haha. I never found out what's with the column of silence. I never heard the Col De Ma Ma Daqua. I never opened the door on the Whirling's roof.

Got frustrated with the map a lot. Felt like a drag to get places most of the time and I did noooot like the coastal area.

I let Klaasje and Ruby both run away because neither deserves to die for what they did. Klaasje would 100% be executed if I handcuffed her but damn she ran me around so much.

I did sing karaoke! I did solve the case! I did see this game through! I FOUND THE PHASMID! What a cool, deep adventure in a fantastic and familiar awful world. Goodbye, Revachol.

EDITS/OTHER STUFF I REMEMBER: I gasped out loud during the karaoke when I realized the Ancient Reptilian Brain is in fact Harry's speaking voice /// MsDiceMaker had a beautiful ASMR voice ❤️ /// I was so hopeful that we would all pile into the car and I would see Jamrock, and Precinct 41, and we would do something about the fight between Wild Pines and the Union. I thought that would be a new arc, and me and my RCM bros who respect me bc Kim defended me would all help fix this city together.
