na mondjuk lovasinak inkább kussolnia kéne, mert egyedül geszti péter okozott nagyobb károkat ennek az országnak, mint a kispál és a borz

Again, something very silly and really random, but I just had to do it: here's Trent and the Richmond Coaches in an air jam session in the office. (And of course, it had to happen to a song by Kispál és a Borz, hence the title)
Drumming in a cave*
When being on his own in his office shared with Roy, Trent Crimm turned up the music while working. His foot began tapping to the beat and then his fingers followed. He couldn't really focus on the work, the music slowly took over every thought in his brain, and now his head was also moving to the beat with his mouth silently forming the lyrics, surrendering himself to the song.
When Ted Lasso stepped into the office, he saw the former reporter sitting in his chair, his feet tapping to the beat, his hands holding an air bass guitar. The sight made him forget why he had came in the first place. The other man was so lost in the music that he didn't even notice him entering.
For a moment he just stood there, listening, taking in the music and the lyrics that sounded like complete gibberish. Yet his head started moving to it and the next thing he knew was that he was playing the air drums following the beat.
Realising that he wasn't on his own anymore, Trent almost dropped his air bass and was about to explain himself when he saw that Ted had joined him. When their eyes met, the ex-journalist smiled and nodded his head as they went on air jamming.
When Coach Beard saw them from the outside, he wasn't even surprised. Instead, he just went in, and once he got used to the music, he picked up an air guitar joining the air jam session.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Roy asked watching the strange but definitely not surprising performance.
"Come on Roy, you can still join us on air percussions," Ted said.
"I'd rather be fucking dead," the assistant coach said, leaving the office as fast as he could. "Fucking dorks," he mumbled.
*The actual translation of the song title (Barlangba dobolok) should be "I'm drumming in a cave", but it sounded better this way.

When I said I want to see Trent in a Kispál és a Borz T-shirt, I meant this:
Tumblr media
(X)
I know it’s absolutely unrealistic for a now 40-something ex-journalist to be a fan of a band that was the most popular in the 1990-s and 2000s and that sings only in Hungarian, and it will obviously never be canon, but I’m still convinced he has a T-shirt like this.
And this:
Tumblr media
(X)
This was the T-shirt they were selling at the band’s reunion concert last summer, and I have a headcanon that Trent wouldn’t have missed that event for the world.

hey!! do u have any recommendations for hungarian artists / bands?
hohoho do i...!!!! (if you're hungarian and just asking in english out of like courtesy towards everyone else then sorry i assumed you weren't<3 the answers would only be slightly different)
i come bearing gifts playlists you didn't exactly ask for but i'll just go through my favorites first ok? alright🩷👍
necessary start: 30y, kispál és a borz / kiscsillag, vad fruttik → established alt bands more or less, ""dad rock"" (first two) and mom rock (last one) for me bc this is pretty much what i grew up listening to so even though it's the lyrics that matter to me here i can't leave them out.. !! + if you're wondering what's up with the slash it's just that kispál disbanded and the second formation was kiscsillag but now they're kispál again as of 2023? so it's the same band basically not exactly but umm.yeah
and the other, more current recs from Me to You:
fiúk → call themselves "underground pop" but alt/indie rock and kind of funk rock and a bit of r&b. concerts so so good you can find me at those going crazy going stupid tbh
elefánt → alt/indie rock, i fully came around to them recently don't have much else to say Good
artur → tiny alt or maybe art rock band i mean by my standards because 53 monthly listeners. love it my cup of tea i wish they did some kind of gig around here
analog balaton → electronic . something ! could be called pop but you'll hear (if you want), i think the whole album is great. next one is SUPPOSED to come out within days
co lee → hip-hop (ish)
beton.hofi → hip-hop (ish). again not much to say about these two i like their lyrics, wit, style, flow etc
and i whipped these up, don't be intimidated by the length they're not meant for listening from beginning to end and it's just optional, like if you didn't want to pick random songs on your own (i know some people like doing that a lot though i get it) ok good luck..
