thank you to everyone who tagged me, i have literally no idea when or if this will ever get finished but i do have seven lines from a WIP to share

In the summer after Voldemort is defeated, “Phoenix Rising” is experiencing a renaissance. It seems like everyone’s chosen to ignore the verses, with lyrics like “you’ve extinguished our love and I can’t find a spark” and “I miss the way you lit me up from within’, taking up the refrain of “Let me be reborn!” as a post-war rallying cry for a broken society that just wants to get back to normal.

And Ginny hates it, she thinks, glaring at The Weird Sisters poster in her bedroom. Myron and guitarist Kirley Duke are back to back on stage, low-cut robes showing off their tattooed chests, turning periodically to wink at the camera. 

She likes The Weird Sisters — they’re so popular and ubiquitous it’s hard not to — but she’s always thought “Phoenix Rising” was a bit shit. Sort of cloying and melodramatic, not as good as their faster stuff. She’s always had a soft spot for Jarvey as well, always found the gossip to be a little unfair, the relentless begging in “Phoenix Rising” to be a little pathetic.

Weird Sisters aka the famous wizrock band!

The Weird Sisters, are a very popular, all male, Wizarding band! Most magicaly raised children ( from the golden era ) knew and loved them. The band was founded somewhere around 1986-1987, or slightly before, while the first three members ( Myron, Kirley & Orsino ) were still at Hogwarts.
