KIRIII hi buddy o pal of mine hruhru
i’ve come to ask ab f/os <3 do you like to match outfits? what troupes would you use to describe your relationship? do you get into any shenanigans together? :3
the way I liked ur post completely forgetting that I literally do not have selfship lore AKSHKFJJF
Do you like to match outfits?
In general Moira is dressed professionally, in a button down and some slacks. Miel on the other hand tends to go for something more comfortable to move in (a loose tee and some baggy pants) bc they tend to zoom around a lot. Their wardrobe mostly consists of black and white clothes, so they often match coincidentally!
Tropes
Hmm I'll say older woman/younger woman 🏃🏻‍♀️, the slowest of slow burns, opposites attract, and a bit of office romance kinda? They're in the same organisation so >_<
Shenanigans
It's usually Miel who gets roped into shenanigans by Sombra or Mauga. They're very jovial and carefree for an assassin (read: international criminal) so they tend to gravitate towards people who have the same energy
They're waaaay tamer when Moira is around though... They're like an overexcited puppy LOL

Happy Valentine's Day to my ships~!
This Valentine's Day, I'm celebrating with little romantic ideas about what regarding my oc ships (both oc x cc and oc x oc) would do on Valentine's Day (and beyond).
Black Clover
Josele x Morgen: Morgen would write a song and perform it for Josele. (I lowkey blame @simpingforthisonedeer and her headcanons here for getting me hooked on musically inclined Morgen.) Morgen would play the piano and sing his heart out for his beloved. Josele would lean on Morgen's shoulder, smiling and crying and falling in love with him all over again. Her gift isn't as grand but it's still something she made herself, which she'd be proud of. She'd give Morgen a tunic, a simple but classy design made from quality fabric so Morgen could definitely wear it for a future date though Morgen would eagerly insist that he try it on immediately.
Josele x Nacht: For these two, Valentine's day is a quiet, somewhat muted, and personal affair. They spend the day practically glued to one another's side. Hands brushing together, quick pecks every now and then, whispered sweet nothings sprinkled throughout casual conversation. When night comes, they sneak off to a secret glade where they set up a table, chairs, and candles for a dinner date. The peaceful night is a perfect setting to reminisce on the past and discuss the future or simply enjoy each other's presence.
Helia x Nozel: They'd go out social dancing. Both are wonderful dancers, though Nozel has far more elegance and skill but Helia's exuberance in the act mesmerizes Nozel like nothing else. They'd be the center of attention in no time. By the time they return home, Nozel is twirling Helia under his arm just because it feels good and Helia sways each time she embraces Nozel, like they're still dancing.
Licht x Tetia x Lexi: This trio would spend Valentine's Day just being the most annoyingly lovey-dovey throuple. Weaving flower crowns. A picnic on a sunny hill. Sharing name ideas for the twins. Licht and Lexi sparing, pretending to fight for the hand of their fair Lady Tetia.
Irene x Letoile: Irene, being an intellectual, would bring Letoile a bouquet of flowers and little note cards with the meanings of the flowers as well as flower trivia. Letoile returns the romantic gesture by reciting some poetry in a romantic, candle-lit room.
Demon Slayer
Shizuka x Inosuke: They'd wonder what Valentine's Day is. The holiday wasn't introduced to Japan until the 1930s. Okay, but more seriously, they'd spend the day hiking through the mountains, collecting flowers and wild berries. Since both are strong and like to make it known, they'd take turns carrying each other across whatever terrain they encounter. The day ends with them stargazing, hand-in-hand, reveling in being able to enjoy truly peaceful nights.
Ayami x Yumiko: They would definitely do a cafe date. They'd order the most expensive offerings along with stuff they're actually interested in just because they'd like to.
Kyoujurou x Erika: The two of them would have fun walking through a big city, seeing new inventions and fashions brought from the West. Kyoujurou might buy a western dress for Erika and she would insist that she get him a matching suit. Things get more grounded when they return home to share some soothing tea while reading some old poetry.
My Hero Academia
Haruka x Eijirou: Haruka would definitely give Eijirou homemade chocolates and something she drew. She wants to give her all in showing Eijirou how she feels and she knows he would appreciate something she made herself. The White Day follow-up would involve Eijirou giving Haruka some burnt chocolates that would make her cry because one, she's never been given White Day chocolates, and two, they taste awful (but she eats them all anyways).
Ryouko x Okami: Okami is deathly allergic to chocolate (yes, seriously) so Ryouko gives him hard candies instead. She's found that he likes soda flavored candies even though he doesn't like drinking actual soda. Okami returns the favor come White Day by giving her coffee candies as well as her favorite coffee order which he didn't memorize for her; he's just been subjected to it enough that it became ingrained into his memory.
Kyouhei x Terumi: Valentine's Day is when Terumi brings Kyouhei some fancy chocolates and a mix tape for their relationship. Some of the songs might be ones that they sang which both agree is cringey and cute. White Day is when Kyouhei takes Terumi on an arcade date. This theater duo will almost break whatever dancing game machine the arcade has. And Kyouhei reveals his own mix tape and they find that the songs they sang are the only overlaps.
Naoyo x Chizuru: These gals would take to the mall or downtown area, window shopping at a variety of places with things that interest both of them. There's also a back and forth of buying each other snacks.

Plot - Since entering high school, Kyou Nukui has not attended a single class. Instead, he spends his days locked in his bedroom composing music and posting it on the internet accompanied by his only friend's drawings, an artist with the pseudonym "Kiriyume." One day, Kyou hesitantly uploads his newest composition, and first departure from his typical style, TR03. Additionally, he does not upload under his usual handle "HibikiP," but simply under the name "me," and without a drawing from his mysterious friend. Shortly after, Kyou receives a very polite email, not only praising his music but also somehow discerning that he is, in fact, the composer behind TR03. The e-mail also asks for a meetup in a nearby park, to which he cautiously decides to go. To his surprise, however, he finds three elementary school girls at the meeting place! Suddenly, Jun Gotou, Nozomi Momijidani, and Sora Kaneshiro ask for his help to hold a concert in their home, an old church now used as an orphanage. And though Kyou is reluctant at first, after seeing their musical abilities, he eventually decides to accept their proposal. Based on the light novel of the same name by the award-winning Sagu Aoyama, Tenshi no 3P! follows Kyou as these three angels change his life. https://www.instagram.com/p/B-uig-mhXS5/?igshid=45ul7omplh68

天使の3P! 05 Saku-nee blows these lolis out of the water. And Kiriyume isn’t half-bad herself, either. I’m beginning to doubt Aoyama-sensei’s real commitment to the cause (not that I’m complaining because Saku-nee is angel)

By Chance and Fate
Summary: The chance meeting that started Eijirou and Haruka's friendship. It takes an unfortunate turn and Haruka laments her situation.
Genre: general, later angst
Word count: ~3300
Content warnings: depiction of anxiety
..........
An afternoon breeze carried the scent of spring through the air. The sky's bright blue was spotted with clouds, the white and fluffy kind. Sunlight streamed down gently which made the day warm but not sweltering. All in all, the weather was lovely and many were outside to enjoy the day.
One such person was Eijirou Kirishima. He paid a visit to a local park and strolled along a random path under the shadows of trees. It was a nice, relaxing change of pace for him. Eijirou paused in his stride and let his mind wander.
His thoughts wandered to the events of his first two years at U.A. The USJ Incident. Hero Killer Stain. The battle for I-Island. All For One and All Might's retirement. The Eight Precepts of Death. The final battle against the Paranormal Liberation Front. So much chaos that turned himself and his peers from mere students into true heroes-in-the-making. Despite the insanity, the Hero Course students still had to complete their education and training.
One week from that day, Eijirou and his friends would be third-years. Their final year of Hero training before they graduated and got their official Pro-Hero licenses. Part of Eijirou was excited to be so close to his future while another part of him wished he could delay the inevitable for a little longer.
Eijirou let out a sigh then continued to stroll.
The park’s path eventually brought him to a clearing at the park center where a decrepit, ivy-covered gazebo stood and within the gazebo, a wooden picnic table. Sitting at the edge of the seat was a girl. Her back faced Eijirou and she leaned over something. A bag was placed on the girl’s left side. Stark white was braided down her back.
A medium-sized dog laid at the foot of the table, playing with a chew toy. A leash led from the dog’s neck up towards the girl’s right wrist. Before Eijirou even reached the first step of the gazebo, the canine lifted its head and locked eyes with Eijirou. It let out a bark, causing the girl to jolt in her seat and turn around. By her facial features, she looked a couple years younger than he was.
With no hesitation, Eijirou beamed and greeted the girl, “Hey there! Nice day out, isn’t it?”
Immediately, she dropped her gaze then meekly waved her hand. The dog barked again before the girl scratched it behind the ears and soothed it down. When the dog laid down, Eijirou stepped forward, realizing that he had to be the one to break the ice.
“Mind if I sit with you?” he asked when he was a couple steps from the bench and pointed to it. Silently, she shook her head then scooted to the edge of the bench. “Thanks,” murmured Eijirou before sitting an arm’s length away from the girl. He noticed that on the table was a sketchbook, pencil case, and something that shined in the sunlight that reached into the gazebo. “Sorry if I intruded or anything. I was just out for a walk and found my way here.”
The girl said nothing, instead avoiding Eijirou’s eyes and shrugging her shoulders.
“Maybe you already know but I’m Eijirou Kirishima,” he introduced himself and gestured to himself with his thumb. The girl nodded mutely. “What about you? You have a name, right? Or will I have to call you ‘random girl I met in the park’ from now on?” he joked.
The girl shrunk in on herself and shook her head. Then, she raised both hands and began to move them. As she signed, she mouthed her words.
"My name is Haruka Ayume. It’s nice to meet you." After she finished, Haruka paused and dropped her gaze to the ground.
“Haruka Ayume…” Eijirou saying her name seemed to catch her attention. She looked up and Eijirou smiled at her. “Well it’s nice to meet you, too, Ayume!” He signed to match his words, if a bit clumsily.
"You understand sign language?" she asked.
“Yeah, I know it,” answered Eijirou with a grin on his face. “Learned it from a classmate.” He noticed the distant look in her eyes. “Hm? Something wrong?”
Haruka shook her head, tilting it towards the ground a bit. Then, while still avoiding Eijirou’s eyes, she signed, "I just didn’t expect it, that’s all. And I used sign language without considering that you might not know it."
“That’s fine, Ayume. You’re cool.” Eijirou gave a lazy wave of his hand. “It is how you talk after all!”
Haruka’s eyes lingered on Eijirou’s hands as he signed while speaking.
"You don’t have to sign, Kirishima-san," Haruka said. "I don’t want to cause you any unnecessary trouble."
“Ah, ‘s no trouble. ‘Sides, I could use the practice.” Eijirou rubbed the back of his neck and laughed unsurely.
Haruka’s brow furrowed a bit. "So you aren’t bothered by the fact that I’m not talking?"
“What? Course not! If you can’t talk, then you can’t talk.” Eijirou didn’t fail to notice the way Haruka winced at his words. “Huh?” He looked her up and down, trying to get a read on her. “Can you…?” She pursed her lips and slowly bowed her head. “Oh…”
Eijirou looked away and swallowed hard. If he were to be fair, he couldn’t be mad at Haruka. She had asked if Eijirou had been bothered by the fact that she wasn’t talking, not that she couldn’t talk. Eijirou had been the one to assume she was completely mute.
“Ah shit, I—uh—I’m sorry! I didn’t mean it like that!” Eijirou fumbled with his words.
"Please don’t apologize, Kirishima-san. It’s not your fault."
“No, it was. I was assuming something about you when I should’ve known better,” Eijirou insisted with a firm voice. “Actually, the classmate I learned sign language from is kind of the same.”
Haruka hesitated before responding, "It’s okay. You’re not the first to think that anyway." The look on her face was distant, unreadable. "I—" She hesitated. "I apologize for not speaking." Her hands noticeably shook as she signed.
“There’s no need to apologize,” Eijirou muttered. “Besides, if it makes you uncomfortable, I won’t make you talk. It wouldn’t be manly of me if I did.”
Haruka’s eyes flicked up and he smiled at her before she averted her gaze as quickly. Her lips pursed and her eyes glazed over with worry, or perhaps it was guilt.
Shit. I brought down the mood. “Ayume,” Eijirou said while moving his hands through the signs. “It’s okay.”
Haruka mutely nodded. "Thank you."
Eijirou glanced at the dog then at Haruka. “So, uh, I know you’re Ayume, but I haven’t learned your dog’s name.”
Haruka inhaled and tensed up before she answered, "Her name is Aki."
“Aki, huh. Sounds manly.” Eijirou waved to Aki though she barely glanced in his direction. “You mind if I pet her?”
Haruka looked at Aki, the ground, and glanced at Eijirou. She then nodded, mostly to herself, before overtly nodding to Eijirou. With an assuring pet on the head, Haruka guided Aki closer to Eijirou. The canine positioned herself between the teens then sat on her rear.
“Hey girl,” Eijirou cooed while petting Aki the same way Haruka did. With one hand on Aki, he returned his attention to Haruka. “So do you and Aki visit this park often?” Eijirou asked as he shifted where he sat. “I’m just wondering because I come here once in a while and this is the first time I’ve seen you.”
"We started coming here not too long ago. She and I both need to get outside." Haruka added a shrug to her answer.
“That makes sense. I take a walk outside basically everyday. Gotta get that fresh air and sunlight,” Eijirou said while moving his arms as if power walking.
As Eijirou talked, Aki walked around Haruka and picked up the toy she’d been playing with earlier. She carried it over to Haruka’s bag and clumsily tried to put it in herself. Haruka pet Aki before taking the toy and tucking it inside the bag.
“I mean, it’s not like the stuff falls from the sky, right?” he joked with a gesture to the sky.
Haruka let out an audible exhale, as if giggling, and her shoulders moved with muted laughter. At the same time, a grin made its way onto Haruka’s face.
“So she finally smiles!” Eijirou chuckled with delight and bounced in his seat. Haruka flinched at his volume and he winced in return. “My bad… It’s just that you smiled for the first time since we started talking.”
"Sorry," Haruka signed as her gaze lowered.
“Don’t apologize for smiling. You’ve got a manly smile,” Eijirou assured as he waved his hand in the air. Haruka raised a brow at him, likely at his phrasing. “Back to what I was saying… Getting outside for air and sun. It’s good for you. Can’t replace it.”
Haruka put on a look of thought before replying with, "There are such things as vitamins."
“You’re not wrong, but that’s pretty lame.”
"Then again, I only know of vitamin D to supplement sun exposure." Haruka had a look of contemplation on her face as she signed.
“Uh-huh. That.” Eijirou nodded and pointed to Haruka. A laugh escaped Eijirou and he started to snicker. “You still need to get outside for some good ol’ air.”
"But isn’t air everywhere already?" The question was punctuated by a shrug of Haruka’s shoulders.
“Oh for the love of—” Eijirou covered his mouth and nose as he let out an unflattering snort. “W-why are we even discussing this? We’re both outside already!” For emphasis, Eijirou motioned to himself and Haruka.
"I’m only kidding. Being outside is nice," Haruka said with her smile having grown a bit during the conversation. It was a sign that she was enjoying herself.
“Hmph, good,” Eijirou chuckled while resting his elbows on the table top. “‘Cause if neither of us came out to this park, we wouldn’t have met.” A faint breeze started to blow. Eijirou breathed in deeply to enjoy the sensation. “This is nice. Talking to you is nice.”
At those words, Haruka froze and her smile faltered. There was a look of doubt in her eyes that Eijirou made out as she signed.
"But I’m not talking. Not really." Haruka paused. "Are you sure it doesn’t bother you? Knowing that I can talk and yet I don’t?"
“If you’re shy, then you’re shy,” answered Eijirou as he shrugged his shoulders. “It’s not like you can help it or anything.”
Unnoticed by Eijirou, Haruka’s body went stiff at his words.
“Everyone has their own problems. Everyone’s weird in their own ways.” Eijirou closed his eyes and let his head lean to one side as he mused aloud. “You can’t help it and that’s fine.” Running a hand through his hair, he sighed. “Enough of that, though, let’s talk about something el—” He stopped short when he turned and saw Haruka.
Her face was paled and twisted into a look of discomfort. Her entire body trembled. Her breaths were short and shaky.
“Hey, are you feeling alright?” Eijirou reached out and his hand briefly brushed against Haruka’s shoulder before she jumped from her seat, away from him. “Ayume?” he asked while quickly rising to his feet. “Is something wrong?”
Haruka shook her head as she stepped away from the bench. Away from Eijirou.
“Clearly, there is something wrong!” Eijirou exclaimed as he stepped closer. “I know we just met, but I’m still worried.”
Eijirou reached out to take Haruka’s hand, hoping to get her to stop and answer him—or at least acknowledge him. She jolted away before he made contact. Their eyes barely met for a second. Eijirou saw the fright in her eyes and the terror that shook her body. Before Eijirou could say anything, Haruka turned and ran with Aki hot on her heels.
“Wait!” Eijirou called after Haruka. He took a step to chase her when he remembered the items on the table. He looked at everything Haruka had left: a necklace, sketchbook, and her whole bag. “Ayume, you forgot—!”
Eijirou turned his head back in Haruka’s direction, only to see that she and Aki were no longer in sight. The shock made the boy pause. He turned to his right, thinking that Haruka and Aki had run off the path. Nothing. Looking left gave the same result. He rushed to the back of the gazebo to check if the two had circled behind it, still no sight of them.
“Where’d they go?” Eijirou asked himself as he walked to the front of the gazebo. The shaded path had no signs of Haruka and Aki on it. “Invisibility? No. Aki disappeared too. Teleportation then?”
Eijirou groaned and shook his head. How Haruka disappeared wasn’t something to be concerned over. There was also the matter of her forgotten belongings.
Eijirou started to gather up Haruka’s things. He paused when a ray of light hit the necklace and found its way to Eijirou’s eyes. He picked up the necklace and found not some charm but a ring strung on the chain. The metal band was divided into three sections, a wide, blue one between two narrow, silver rails. The center section had swirls reminiscent of ocean waves engraved into it. It was a piece of art in its own right and must have cost a fortune. On the open page of the sketchbook was a sketch of the same ring.
Why is she carrying something like this around? Eijirou wondered as he stared at the ring. I doubt this is just any piece of jewelry.
Eijirou turned around and stared out at the still empty path. He wasn’t sure why Haruka ran off the way she did, nor did he care. To him, that didn’t matter. What mattered was making up for whatever had gone wrong. Eijirou had to find Haruka and return her belongings. Not only that but he would make amends for causing her to run away, even if he didn’t understand it.
It was the manly thing to do after all.
..........
Haruka coughed and cried with each retch she made. When she was certain everything in her stomach had been expelled, she moved away from the toilet and pressed her back against the wall. Tears blurred her vision. Haruka knew they would stain her glasses but she couldn’t bring herself to care at the moment. Taking heavy gulps of air, Haruka felt Aki nuzzle against her before licking her cheek. After taking a moment to catch her breath, Haruka reached over to Aki and stroked her hand down the canine’s neck.
“Thank you.” Haruka’s voice was soft, barely audible, but it was there. “I’m sorry we had to run.” As she spoke, Haruka unclipped the leash from Aki’s collar. Then, she stood up, Aki following after her.
The stench from the toilet made Haruka scrunch her nose. She flushed the toilet while keeping her face turned away. The smell wasn’t the worst part of it though.
The worst part was the terrifying humiliation.
Her eyes started to sting again. Haruka forcefully wiped away the tears and inhaled deeply. She then turned on the faucet and splashed her face with water. When Haruka looked in the mirror, she saw a red-faced, teary-eyed girl. A girl who made a fool of herself in public. A child afraid of basic human interaction. A weakling that hid from the rest of the world. Someone too weak to save themselves.
A waste of space, Haruka repeated to herself. A pathetic excuse for a human being.
Hands pressed to her temples, Haruka shook her head to clear out the dark thoughts. She stepped out of the restroom with Aki keeping close. They crossed the floor to a door that opened to a stairwell which they climbed to the upper floor.
“I can’t believe it! I met someone from U.A.,” Haruka mused aloud. “Just by chance.” Heat rose to her cheeks, prompting Haruka to bury her face in her hands. “And I ruined it! I was so rude to him! Using sign language when he might not have known it. He apologized to me, his junior. And I ended up freaking out and running away! He must think I’m a lunatic!”
At that point, the pair had reached the top of the stairs. Haruka and Aki entered their room. Aki stretched before flopping onto the floor. Haruka went to the desk in the room’s corner. On it was a desk organizer with little baskets and a couple of tiny drawers. Haruka opened one of the drawers and pulled out a black, metallic USB drive. Tears began to prick her eyes as she stared at the memento.
“Papa… I’m so sorry,” Haruka sobbed as tears began to prick at her tears again. Losing her sketchbook, her bag, everything inside the bag was one thing. “I didn’t mean to lose your treasure…”
Aki barked and the sound brought the girl out of her wallowing. Haruka put the USB back in the drawer then knelt on the floor by Aki.
“Thank you, Aki. You always have my back, don’t you?”
Aki laid herself in front of Haruka before rolling onto her back. She opened her mouth to allow her tongue to hang out. A playful gesture. Having Aki around was nice. Her presence didn’t make life easy for Haruka, but it made life bearable.
A twinge of pain shot through Haruka.
Her life was not wonderful or enjoyable or even decent. Just bearable.
Haruka leaned back until she was laid out on her back, staring at the ceiling. Her thoughts wandered to Eijirou. She felt happy talking with him. While the usual worry hadn’t disappeared, Haruka would’ve been lying if she said it didn’t feel pleasant. She laughed and smiled, even joked around with him.
But it didn’t last, Haruka told herself as her tears finally fell. It couldn’t have lasted.
It was a strange feeling of loss. She had lost something she never even had and that's what made it so painful. A moment of normalcy. A brief glimmer of hope that was dashed away too quickly.
All because she was a living mess.
Her stomach would twist at the thought of being around others, having their eyes on her. She frequently worried that people noticed whenever she messed up and knew she was a freak. Speaking around others caused her discomfort too. It wasn’t even a choice to be silent but an instinct at that point.
Over the years, Haruka built a wall between herself and the rest of the world. She kept everyone a safe distance away. As much as she tried, though, the anxiety was inescapable. It was less something she lived with and more something ingrained into her.
She no longer felt in control.
She never felt safe.
She always felt trapped.
She was at war with herself. Half of her longed for companionship. The other half wanted only to be left alone.
Simply put, Haruka felt lonely.
A knock pulled Haruka from her thoughts.
“I’m going to poke my head in, okay?” a woman stated before she leaned her upper body through the open door. She had black hair, pulled into a high ponytail, and bright blue eyes poke her head into Haruka’s room. “Is everything alright, Haruka-kun? You look unwell.”
"I’m sorry for causing you to worry, Touka-san," Haruka signed with slowed, tired movements before bowing her head in apology. "I had a panic attack. That’s all."
Touka’s brows knit together. “Are you sure you’re alright?”
After a moment, Haruka frowned and shook her head.
“Haruka-kun…” Touka walked up to Haruka and brought her into a loose embrace. “I wish I could do more right now. I’m sorry.”
Please don’t be sorry, Touka-san, Haruka wanted to say, but her voice was choked. It’s not your fault. It’s all mine.

Hello, dear! You've been visited by the random character question fairy! :D ~☆
Pick five of your character's most influential milestones (moving away from home, a first kiss, a death, etc.). Why and how did these milestones affect your character?
I’m going to answer this ask (which has been waiting for such a long time) for Haruka Ayume.
The first big milestone in Haruka’s life is the loss of her father, Hayate. His death marked the beginning of a long period of emotional abuse at the hands of her mother. Haruka was basically alone because she didn’t really have any other strong, positive connection in her life. She was too shy to make friends and she was cut off from her siblings. Haruka’s anxiety worsened and self-esteem was torn apart. Her anxious personality she has when she reaches U.A. is a result of losing her greatest supporter in life.
The next one I’ll mention is forming the friend group she has at U.A. which consists of her peers Ryouko, Kyouhei, Terumi, Okami as well as upperclassman Eijirou. After years of being a complete loner at school, she gained friends who she can rely on and who would also rely on her. Haruka bonding with her adoptive mother, Touko, is important too but it was different as Touko was only one person and Haruka’s new mom, someone for her to rely on. Haruka’s friends are her peers and the dynamic is more even. Haruka grows into a stronger person by helping them as much as they help her.
Another milestone is making it to the top 8 in the U.A. Sports Festival. Being able to make it to the top 8 is a sign of how skilled she is, being able to effectively work with others and apply her Quirk strategically. It affects her view of herself and her Quirk. Even though she loses the top 8 fight, it is involved in the milestone as she discovers the ability to create illusory pain with her Quirk Simulacra during it. (I know it seems repetitive as Izuku had an important fight against Shouto in the top 8 and lost but I didn’t want Haruka to make it as far as the semis but didn’t want her to lose her first 1-v-1 fight against anyone so I had her lose in the top 8.)
Her first confession is one I want to mention because it’s a little unusual. It’s not her confessing to anyone but rather receiving a confession. Interestingly, it’s not from Eijirou, who she inevitably ends up with. The first person to ever confess to Haruka is Kaito. The reason this moment is important is because it’s when romance becomes more apparent in her life. She never gave it thought before, mostly because she never thought she was good enough to be with anyone. With a confession, it makes her wonder. She turns down Kaito because she doesn’t know him well enough to accept and—for some unexplainable reason(/sarcasm)—she thought about Eijirou instead. It’s awkward in the moment but it gets Haruka to re-evaluate romantic prospects and her relationship with Eijirou because why worry about Eijirou when she’s getting confessed to?
The final milestone I’ll talk about is her first kiss with… Eijirou. (Don’t worry all you one Kiriyume shippers.) Why does it affect Haruka? It’s her first kiss, a physical affirmation of Eijirou’s burgeoning feelings for her, a moment when her own affections grow. How does it affect her? She’s happy, excited, embarrassed, confused and so much more. She’s on cloud nine for a while afterwards and everyone can tell. It’s probably the happiest she’s been since she made her first friends at U.A.

Squealing with absolute delight over this art that @cringeyvanillamilk did of my MHA canon x oc ship: KiriYume (Eijirou Kirishima x Haruka Ayume).
Thank you for the awesome gift, Steph! Merry Christmas to you!
Me gushing below the cut.
I can’t show it often since I lack the artistic ability to do so and I don’t bring it up as much as I should but Haruka’s main form of communication is sign language. She can talk but it’s hard for her to say the least. Her character arc does involve becoming more confident in using her voice but the use of her hands play a big role in who she is. She uses sign language, she draws in her free time, and it is her desire to be a Hero that can “reach out her hand to whoever needs it.”
By the way, the gesture Eijirou and Haruka are making is the sign for “friend” in Japanese sign language (手話, shuwa).
Tumblr media
These two are in love (just look at the way they look at each other). But for the time being, they’re only ready to admit to being friends. Eijirou’s loud and bright personality inspire Haruka. And Haruka’s quiet kindness and bravery inspire Eijirou. They’re just... So! Darn! Cute!

To Speak One’s Mind (800th post special)
“Do you believe you’re ready for this next step, Ayume-kun?” Haruka’s therapist inquired in a gentle tone. It was encouragement without pressure. “This is going to be an important step.”
"Yes. I’m ready for this," Haruka replied as she gave a nod.
The therapist smiled for a moment before a more serious look crossed their face. “Remember, this isn’t about ‘fixing’ your silence. This is improving your confidence and broadening the people you’re comfortable with.”
"I understand that." Haruka's hands shook as she signed.
“If at any point you feel overwhelmed…”
"Then I shouldn’t force myself." Haruka clenched her hands then relaxed. "This isn’t about pleasing others. It’s about my own feelings."
..........
My own feelings, Haruka repeated to herself while her heart hammered in her chest. She sat at her desk, foot tapping the floor to a made-up rhythm. Those feelings are all over the place.
Fear. Excitement. Vulnerability. Strength. Nervousness. Hope. Each emotion fought to be the strongest, to be the one to dictate her choices that day. Taking a deep breath, Haruka vowed not to let her anxiety win out.
Haruka clutched her phone in a vice grip while staring at the message she was about to send to Eijirou. She must have drafted the short text at least eleven times, trying to perfect the word choice and phrasing. The message she settled on was [Can we meet before school? I have something important to tell you.] She hit “send” and felt her heart skip a beat in the best way possible.
It’s sent! Now to wait for his answer. Haruka stood up and paced her room. It’ll be fine, no matter how he answers. Her heart lightened, going from drumming to fluttering. Because what I’m doing is fine. And he’s… He won’t judge me.
“Arf!” Aki reared up and pawed at Haruka’s legs. “Arf!”
“Okay, okay!” Haruka giggled while petting Aki’s head. “I'll get moving.” She set her phone aside then went to the mirror. Should I try to do something special for today? She paused before shaking her head. All I need to do is be myself. No one’s expecting any more or less from me. She brushed and braided her hair as usual, flicking the finished do over her shoulder.
Haruka styled her hair in a braid then gave herself a once over, approving her appearance. She grabbed her bag and when she reached for her phone, she saw the notification waiting for her. A reply from Eijirou.
[Totally! How about we meet behind the main building?]
A smile on her face, Haruka left her dorm room with Aki at her heels. When they reached the common area, other early risers such as Daiki and Fukue were there too. Haruka put out Aki’s food and made her own breakfast. In that time, the rest of the class got downstairs and the school-provided breakfast arrived. As per usual, Haruka sat with her friends.
"(Good morning, everyone.)"
“Morning, Ayume-kun,” Kyouhei greeted before taking a sip of orange juice. Beside him, Okami flicked his ears, his own version of a silent greeting.
“Whaah—”a yawn interrupted Ryouko“—aat’s got you in high spirits this morning?”
“Yeah, you’re looking more upbeat than usual,” commented Terumi, her tone indicating a smile on her face.
"(Is there something wrong with how I’m acting?)" Haruka paused. Do I normally act gloomy? Was my question too confrontational? Maybe they’re—No. They’re not…
Ryouko and Terumi looked between each other, almost bashfully.
“Ah, not to say you’re an unhappy person,” Ryouko muttered, rubbing her neck and avoiding eye contact. “It’s just that, uh…”
Haruka shook her head and smiled. "(It’s okay.)" She fidgeted with her hands, searching for the right words. "(I suppose I should ask a different question. How did you pick up on my good mood?)" As soon as she asked, Haruka regretted it and wished she could take back her questions. The one she just asked and the one that started the confrontation. She looked at her food and clenched her hands in an attempt to keep them from shaking too much. What are they thinking? What will they say? They’re my friends so…
“Hm, the best way I can describe it,” Kyouhei started. “Is that… It’s kind of like your happiness is shining through you.”
“Yeah, yeah!” Terumi chirped. “You got, like, an aura of happy around you!”
“It’s different, a good kind of different,” Okami pointed out, talking around a mouthful of food.
The group smiled at Haruka, each in their own way but with the same sense of friendliness, and she smiled back. She didn’t need to overthink things, not with them. Soon, everyone finished eating. As they walked outside, Haruka informed them that she would be meeting Eijirou. Hearing that, Terumi giggled into her hands and Ryouko made a sound between a laugh and a sigh.
Okami dryly muttered, “That explains it.”
“We’ll see you in class then,” Kyouhei said with a playful salute.
Haruka nodded and waved her friends goodbye. On her way to the meeting spot, she mentally rehearsed the words she wanted to say. She found Eijirou already waiting for her in a corner behind the main building, leaning against the wall.
"(Good morning, Kirishima-senpai,)" Haruka signed to Eijirou
“Morning.” Eijirou pushed off the wall, beaming brighter than the sun. “So what was it you wanted to tell me?”
This is it. Haruka felt her face warm. I feel ready. She closed her eyes. I trust him. Took a deep breath. I know… Pressed her hand over her heart. I’m safe with him. She opened her mouth and…
“Oh crap, I forgot what I was going to say.” The words left her involuntarily. Her insides felt twisted up. Yet at the same time, a laugh bubbled up in her throat. “Heh heh…”
Eijirou stared at Haruka, as if searching for something. “Ayu… me… kun…” He sounded breathless. “You’re…”
“I’m sorry! Pffmmhf!” Haruka buried her face in her hands, if only to muffle her giggling. “I wanted to say something special the first time I spoke to you! Heehee! But I messed up! Haha!” Why can’t I stop laughing?
“Hah… Are you kidding me? I don’t care about that!” exclaimed Eijirou, his tone firm but kind. “I’m hearing your voice! Snrk!” He made a sound as if he almost choked. “It’s—!”
“No, no!” Haruka shook her head, despite still laughing. “Pfufu! I need a do-over! Let me try again! P-plea—Ahahaha!” What am I saying? That sounds ridiculous.
“Hrngh!” Eijirou held back a chuckle only to fail. “Gheh-heh! Shit! Sorry! I shouldn’t be laughing but yours is so—! Bwahahahahaaa!”
His laugh was deep and warm; hearing it made Haruka laugh harder. She dared to raise her head and saw Eijirou’s toothy grin, causing her heart to flutter and face to burn. He was too bright. She had to look away. In time, their laughter died down.
“Kirishima-senpai… I wanted…” Haruka’s voice trembled and she felt her throat constrict. But there’s so much more to say… Her hands moved instead. Her gestures were smooth and clear. "I wanted to thank you for everything you’ve done for me." Tears fell from her eyes and she sniffled. "I wanted to say it with my voice but—"
“That’s okay.” Eijirou’s words made Haruka freeze. He raised a hand and whispered, “May I?” to which Haruka nodded. Despite his large and calloused hands, he gently caressed her cheek, wiping away her tears. “Thank you for telling me. And trusting me enough to share your voice with me.” He leaned in and touched his forehead to hers. “And don’t worry. It doesn’t have to be all at once. Take it at your own pace.”
“Hm.” Haruka nodded. Maybe I don’t need to say it, because he’s the type of person to already know. She reached out, her fingers brushing up against Eijirou’s free hand but not quite holding on. Still, thank you for all the kindness you’ve shown me, Kirishima-senpai. I’m going to tell you that and so much more one day.
Eventually, they broke away from each other.
“Let’s go before we’re late,” said Eijirou while picking up his backpack.
They walked side-by-side in comfortable silence. They had said enough for the time being. And even if they didn’t know the other was the same, they both felt that there would be more to say in the future.

Conversation
KiriYume being asked if they like their future s/o
Eijirou: Where's this coming from? Ayume-kun's a sweet, smart, and determined person. I really like hanging out with her, but that doesn't meant I like her /that/ way, does it?
.....
Haruka: [I'm not so sure about that. I certainly admire Kirishima-senpai; he's friendly, strong, courageous... A hero. Even if I did like him, I'm not good enough for him.]

Shizuka: I don't mind that Inosuke is taller than me. But sometimes, like when he decides it'd be fun to hold something out of my reach, it's as if he's too tall. (12 cm diff. with Inosuke)
Haruka: I know how you feel. Eijirou's height is part of his charm but it's embarrassing whenever I have to ask him to lean over so I can kiss him! (19 cm diff. with Eijirou)
Helia: C'mon. I'm sure you're exaggerating. All you guys need is to get on your tip-toes and whatever height gap there is will disappear. (3 cm diff. with Nozel)

Happy Birthday, Eijirou Kirishima!
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”
A chorus of voices cheered before being followed by a cacophony of party poppers going off in a syncopated manner. All the students from classes 3-A and 3-B were gathered in the common area of the 3-A dormitory. Standing at the center of the small crowd were Eijirou and Tetsutetsu. Both had a wide, toothy grin on their face as confetti settled onto their hair.
“Thanks for coming together like this, everyone!” Tetsutetsu said, looking around at everyone’s faces.
“This party’s gonna be so manly with our classes together!” laughed Eijirou. He raised his right hand with his Quirk activated and Tetsutetsu bumped his own steeled hand against it.
“Make way!” Itsuka’s voice called out.
Tenya and Itsuka stepped forward, carrying the birthday cake between them. The candles were lit and everyone started to belt an off-key birthday song. Even Eijirou and Tetsutetsu joined in, smiling to one another and messing with each other’s hair. When the song ended and the candles were blown out, another round of party poppers went off, courtesy of Mina, Denki, Manga, and Pony.
As everyone was enjoying their share of cake and mingling with one another, there came a knock on the door. Everything went quiet for a moment.
“Hm? I wonder who that could be,” Tenya mused.
“It better not be one of the teachers,” Mina whined.
“It shouldn’t be,” commented Setsuna. “We already cleared it with Eraser and Vlad-sensei.”
Momo went to the door and opened it. On the other side of the door was Haruka Ayume, one of their juniors at U.A.
“Ayume-kun!” Eijirou called out as soon as he recognized the girl. He handed his plate to Kyouka and went to greet Haruka. As he got closer, Momo made way for him. “You’re here!” He stopped with a few centimeters between him and her.
Haruka held a wrapped item between her hands and directed her gaze at the ground. She was also visibly shaking which made Eijirou’s smile drop a bit. She must’ve been caught off guard, seeing so many people.
“Thanks for dropping by,” said Eijirou. He glanced back at the full room then returned his attention to his junior. “Do you wanna come in? There’s still ca—”
“H-h-h...” The breathy whisper of Haruka’s voice stopped Eijirou. She raised her head until her eyes met Eijirou’s. “H-h-h-ha...” Her grip on the present grew tighter and the wrapping creased. “Ha-ha—” Her gaze briefly left Eijirou, seeming to see past him. She froze.
“Don’t for—“ Haruka unceremoniously shoving the gift into Eijirou’s chest before running off cut his words short. Eijirou grabbed the item before it could fall while watching Haruka flee the party. A part of Eijirou was saddened by the sight of Haruka running but another part of him was touched by her trying for his sake. Maybe she wasn’t able to say the words that day but he had faith she would in the future. “Thank you.” He said it to Haruka despite her no longer being there.
“Oh! Wha’cha got there, buddy?” Hanta asked when Eijirou returned to the conversation he had left.
“It’s a birthday present from Ayume-kun.” Eijirou tried to play it off coolly, but the longer he held the gift, the more aware he was that it had the same dimensions as one of Haruka’s sketchbooks. Holding the gift under one arm, he took his plate of cake back and resumed eating.
“What? You’re not going to open it?” Mina almost sounded offended by the though. “C’mon! Let’s see what it is!”
“That can wait until later,” retorted Eijirou, talking around his fork as he used his hand to push Mina back by her forehead. “I’ll open it on my own time.”
Mina blew a raspberry but relented.
For the rest of the party, Eijirou held off on opening Haruka’s gift to him. Knowing her, there was a lot of heart put into it and Eijirou wanted to have privacy when opening it so he could truly appreciate her work. It wasn’t until the festivities died down and Eijirou returned to his room for the night that he finally opened it.
True to his predictions, one of Haruka’s sketchbooks had been wrapped up. Eijirou opened it and found that on the first page were rough sketches of his head with attempts at replicating his hairstyle. There were notes along the page, Haruka’s thoughts as she worked through drawing. Eijirou flipped through the pages. Each and every one was dedicated to him in some fashion. Some were sketches. Others were full line arts. And still some pages were just Haruka’s artist notes. But the last used page in the book was a full color drawing of Eijirou in his Hero costume, beaming and holding his hand out the a perspective viewer with the words “My sun. My Hero.” written along the bottom.
Eijirou traced the image. His vision began to blur with tears.
Holding the sketchbook. Seeing Haruka’s work and attention to detail. Eijirou had never felt so seen, so inspiring. His heart fluttered in his chest and he hugged the sketchbook close.
“If that’s how you see me,” Eijirou whispered, “then that’s what I’ll try to be.”

38 ❤️ 50
For the valentine asks
38. What’s your OTP?
Kiriyume, InoShizu, and Nozelia.
Okay, aside from my own self-indulgent canonxoc ships, I guess my biggest OTPs are ObaMitsu (Obanai x Mitsuri from KnY) and Kataang (Katara x Aang from A:tLA).
ObaMitsu didn’t get a lot of attention from the main series, but the extra info we’ve seen from the light novels, fanbooks, and fan content have gotten me really attached to this. They love each other despite the misery around them and their flaws. Brooding x cheerful is a wonderful ship dynamic, they’re both amazing fighters, and their love is strong enough to lead them to one another through reincarnation! This ship is just... beautiful.
Kataang was probably the first ship I shipped without being in fandom or knowing what shipping was. I first started watching A:tLA when I was maybe 12 so I understood that childish crush/puppy love that Aang felt for Katara that developed over the seasons. They’re good to each other. Even through the rough times, even if they’re far apart, they have each others’ backs. This ship has stuck with me through the years and will probably continue to do so.
50. What’s your dreamhouse?
Hm, I’ve never thought too much about what kind of home I’d live in exactly. I’ve dreamed of moving to Japan at some point. I would like a house proper, so I guess I won’t be living in the big city.
Oh! Just thought of something I’d want: a balcony! I’ve never had a house with a balcony and the aesthetic of them... I just like it!
A house that can be a warm and cozy home for me and whatever family I have in the future is what I want in the end. I don’t have any concrete details set yet (except that balcony) so that’s all I have to say on that.
.....
I love answering questions, so I’m glad I got to do this!
