When I saw this I started laughing but then I remembered something.

This first run of Fantastic Four started with Timely/Marvel was on it's last legs. I want to say, if i remember correctly, Kirby+Lee started F4 as The Last Ditch Effort.

So when i saw this, I suddenly recalled the stories of Marvel studios selling furniture and supplies right out of the offices just to keep up on rent until these runs started paying out.

I think it's interesting looking back now at how Johnny Storm is a fan of Hulk comics and Namor comics *in universe*. Here, Reed wishing things were as simple as in the comics. I suddenly felt like i was reading at least a little bit of a deconstruction of Superhero Ideas.

However, everything changed when they figured out how to make money:

Guys. Guys, don't do it. It'll be 60 years before anyone even thinks there's a *chance* an F4 movie could be good.

Me: so from what I remember of the early Kirby fandom I saw a lot of people saying that King Dedede and Metaknight hated each other, but that's just straight up not true. You see in Metaknight's first ever appearance it is blatantly stated in the manual that Ming Dedede gave all the Star Rod pieces to his friends, and since Metaknight had a piece than reason would have you to believe that they are friends. But, purely hypothetically, what if they started out as friends but when Metaknight tried and failed to take over dreamland in Kirby Super Star in the process he broke Dedede's trust and lost him as a friend? That would explain how after that event in the Kirby series Metaknight was always kinda working solo unrelated to Dedede, almost like they don't associate with each other anymore? But on a lighter note, since they were forced to work together in Kirby Return to Dreamland maybe they got over their differences and rekindled their old friendship? Maybe they even grew closer and became boyfriends maybe idk? Therapist: ok that was nice, now stop being so hard on yourself it's bad for your mental health Me: no
