The children of Fire Lord Zuko and Master Katara of the Southern Water Tribe, Queen Consort of the Fire Nation.
Kya is the eldest, and a firebender. Dedicated, determined, and a bit too straight laced for her younger sister's liking.
Kallik is the middle child, only boy, and a nonbender. Athletic, clever, and funny.
Akira "Kira" is the youngest, and is a waterbender. Confident, vivacious, and just a little mischievous.

Ok if the teen wolf characters were in the atla/lok universe, who do you think would have what kind of bending?
oooh i love this ask so much.
scott mccall is an earthbender. he is stubborn, firm in his sense of self and his beliefs, steadfast and wants to protect everyone. allison argent is a non-bender which i think all hunters would be non-benders. allison would totally be kyoshi warrior trained in hand-to-hand, various weaponry and chi blocking. lydia martin is a waterbender. changeable, open to new ways of thinking and compassionate. she'd be a great healer. stiles stilinski is a firebender. passionate, temperamental but compassionate and warm. he'd totally be a good lightening bender which would be unexpected by his opponents. derek hale is a waterbender. still waters run deep. connected to the moon phases and most powerful with the full moon.
liam dunbar is a firebender. explosive, impulsive and passionate. he wouldn't be able to do lightening bending but he'd love fire daggers.
malia tate is an earthbender. stubborn to a fault, strong sense of self, rough and tumble without finesse, ready to fight everyone but she'd probably be able to do something cool like lava bending or seismic sense.
kira yukimura is a surprising firebender. she's fierce and passionate. lightening is a given lol.
jackson whittermore is a non-bender and mad about it.
peter hale is a waterbender. extremely adaptable and this man would bloodbend if he could.

the reposing force of the great lakes;
---by kael knoxton martin, a (real) wip intro.
genre - science fiction, superhero fiction.
age range - adult.
status - working on first draft.
content warnings - child abuse, drug use (marijuana), discussions of homophobia and transphobia, unhealthy relationships, gore, suicidal ideation.
summary.
In the fictional city of Knife's Edge, Michigan, home to the headquarters of the Reposing Force of the Great Lakes, a superhero collective is tasked with protecting the Great Lakes region from any supernatural threats or metahumans misusing their powers. The Reposing Force is massive, and its heroes are treated like celebrities, as if they're above reproach. The Great Lakes Reposing Force is largely corrupt, preferring publicity and self-gain over the actual goal of helping citizens that the Force was founded with.
Metahuman Ivy White is on her way to a recruitment appointment, with the goal of becoming a member of the Reposing Force. She lives in her car, struggles with mental health issues, and generally views membership to the Force as a last resort attempt to improve her life. Ivy meets Kingsley Henneth and Rowan James during the interview; both of them have powers almost as unique as her own, and all three of them get embarrassingly rejected for having "useless and embarrassing powers". Kingsley and Rowan invite Ivy to stay with them after her car breaks down. At roughly the same time, the leader of the Reposing Force, Graham Case, is making a deal with the queen of the demonic dimension Xulthea to trap his best friend, Soren's wife in the main city for eternity so she is unable to expose proof of a gay adulterous affair to the public.
After finding out what Graham had done, Soren, secretly an extremely powerful metahuman himself, believes his wife to be suffering in Xulthea, so he kidnaps the entire Reposing Force and tricks the queen of Xulthea into giving him free passage between Earth and the parts of Xulthea that are so unpredictably nightmarish that no one lives there. Trapping the Force in what is essentially endless psychological torture, in a realm that naturally must use their deepest fears against them, Soren tells Graham that he and his friends will remain there until his wife is freed. Meanwhile, his wife, Jessica, is unexpectedly bonding with the queen of Xulthea, perfectly safe, watching her husband destroy the city they both once loved.
Also, it turns out Soren missed one member of the Reposing Force. Kira Ramos, the Force's second-in-command who was out of the country visiting family at the time of the kidnapping, returns to Knife's Edge a day later, and must pick up the pieces and retrieve her friends before any supervillain senses an opportunity and decides to wreak havoc in the city. She recruits Ivy and Ivy's new friends to save the Reposing Force, promising high ranking membership and immense fame if they can complete the task.

excerpt.
The picture fizzles out, fading slow back into a void-black screen, and she’s gone. The secondhand store employee’s words echo through her mind: fucking Reposing Force, I swear to God… But the gates open, swift and fast like a predator. Ivy looks up into the skies, watches the building as it goes up and up and up, boundless above her. She takes a deep, deep breath, and begins walking again. She’s always walking, always transporting herself between what is real and what is fantasy and what is dreaded. When she isn’t walking literally, her body exhausted from its nomadic nature, she’s walking metaphorically, through the graveyard of her past, her former self an angelic statue fixed above a headstone. Ivy is adept at pushing through obstacles of any kind. She moves forward whether the universe likes it or not. She enters the building, and her boots make a thudding sound on the teal tile beneath her. There’s a mural behind the front desk—scenery of Lake Michigan that is too vibrant, too dreamlike, to be real or accurate. The state of Michigan is never that serene. But regardless, she approaches the desk. It’s a different secretary; how many fucking employees does this place have? She asks for Ivy’s name with a monotone voice, thanks her for it in a monotone voice. Ivy cannot help it. Her mind wanders to situations, to possibilities unknown. Are these employees super=powered too, are they considered lower than the heroic division? If she gets this job, will she be doing boring secretary work for the rest of her life? If she manages to get this job, will she get the opportunity to disrespect others, just as they have done to her? Would she ever get the opportunity to do true good, or will they stick her at a desk for eternity? She wouldn’t be able to handle that.

Bleach Vice-Captains if they were in the Avatar World: Part I
This is a short summary of how various Bleach characters could be fused into the Avatar universe, with regards to their powers and abilities, and how they would fit in the world of Avatar. Additionally, snippets about how the lore of the Bleach universe might fit in with the lore of the avatar universe. I had previously done the captains in these posts: x x x. In this post, I will focus on the vice captains, beginning with squads 1 to 5.
Chōjirō Sasakibe
An exceptionally loyal Firebender who has served Yamamoto since the foundation of the Soul Society. Despite his rank and appearance, he is a deadly warrior who has mastered and the art of lightning bending, and pushed beyond the limits of what was originally thought possible. Utilising heat-bending in conjunction with his lightning, he is capable of summoning vast thunderbolts from the sky, eclipsing any lightning generated by a mortal. Additionally, through careful chi control and artful lightning manipulation, he has slowed his aging so that he may serve alongside his commander.
Marechiyo Ōmaeda
A large but crafty non-bender, Marechiyo Ōmaeda is descended from a long line of professional hitmen. Prior to the formation of the Soul Society, the Ōmaeda family were a small time bandit clan in, what is known today as, the Fire Nation. However, upon the defection of Yamamoto and the formation of the Soul Society, the Ōmaeda family prospered and profited in the ensuring war. Eventually, they would come to serve as another vassal house for the Shihoin clan, alongside the Fon clan. Marechiyo Ōmaeda is the heir to the family fortune, and currently serves under Soi Fon, much to her chagrin. Despite his appearance, he is an exceptionally fast combatant and a cunning fighter, utilising his opponents assumptions about his size to bludgeon them in the head with a massive spiked iron ball, which is his signature weapon. However, he is exceptionally cowardly, and will utilising smoke and tear gas bombs to facilitate his escape.
Izuru Kira
An introspective and tactical earthbender who utilises a family technique to energybend. The Kira family were descended from a lesser prince of the Earth Kingdom royal family; during the Wars of Secrets and Daggers, the patriarch was killed and the remaining family fled out of fear. Pleading their case before the sages and judges of the Soul Society, the family was allowed to settle within the protective walls and hold some amount of political power, befitting their former status. Izuru Kira has mastered the family technique of the “earthen crush” whereby the user imparts their earthen chi into an object that they touch, allowing them to bend the object or person directly downwards, crushing them. This powerful technique requires the bender touch the target, so that they may impart their chi.
Isane Kotetsu
The protégé of Unohana, this waterbender is second only to her master in terms of healing capabilities. Her grandfather was originally from the Southern Water Tribe and fled to the Soul Society during the raids, bringing with him the tribes scrolls of healing, which were passed down through the family.
Momo Hinamori
An exceptionally clever firebender who has mastered the art of altering the trajectory of her fire mid-flight.  Similar to how energybenders utilise the connections between all living creatures to search, Hinamori can utilise those connections as pathways to channel her fire, giving her a dangerous degree of accuracy. She was born in the Soul Society, and alongside her close friend Tōshirō she was raised by her grandmother. However, inspired by the powerful benders who defended the Soul Society and fuelled by her desire to protect her friends, she left to begin her firebending training.

Korra... Korra... Like that one girl from the Fire Ferrets? Pretty bang-up Waterbender, I must say. I wonder whatever happened to her... Now, as for this Korra, she could not catch Kira, but she would survive, although a lot of people seemed to think she could, in fact, catch Kira as well. It is weird, isn't it? That the Avatar just happens to share the same name as the Pro-Bending star. Well, I guess there's only so many names out in the world - there's, like, a million Lees out in Earth Country, or so I'm told. Well, enough of that. Let's get down to it, shall we?

I realised recently that I never actually collated all the ideas I had about my Zutara kids so here, have some steambabies! Idk I just really like the idea of Katara and Zuko having a big family after all they’ve lost when they were young, and as an only child, I guess I kind of romanticise the idea of having siblings.
TW: I hc that Katara would have had a miscarriage, so if that is a trigger for you then maybe don’t read on.
Shameless plug but if you wanna read more about this, my series on AO3 is roots and wings.
Their firstborn is a boy who they name Kai after Kya. His full name is Kaito but nobody who knows him ever calls him that, not even when he’s in trouble. I’m not going to go into too much context about like the pregnancy bc you can already find that stuff here. He turns out very much like Zuko physically - tall, golden irises, straight black hair, narrow angular face - but he has mixed tawny skin and his eyes are shaped round and wide like Katara. He’s born on the last day of summer in 109 AG, so because of superstition that firebenders are born in peak summer, there’s some uncertainty about what he’ll bend - if at all - but then when he’s three and a half, he makes a flame. Iroh trains him to firebend until he’s about 16, then he goes off to the Sun Warriors for a year to finish off, and he ends up a very spiritual firebender. Kai is like the dream first child - the softest boy ever to live - and when Katara and Zuko go on to have more children, he’s a really great big brother, like wholeheartedly adores his little sibs even if they drive him completely nuts about 95% of the time. He’s quite a conflicted and confused kid growing up. He’s never quite sure of what he wants in life but finally, when he’s 17, he decides that he realises that he doesn’t want to be Fire Lord and passes along the heir status to his sister. After that he joins the Sun Warriors and eventually marries the chief’s daughter, Himari, and they have two firebender girls, Aiko and Sol.
Izumi arrives not long after her brother in 110 AG. Katara and Zuko planned to wait but it ends up that there’s barely a year between Kai and Izumi and it comes as an extra shock as Katara didn’t figure out she was pregnant again till like 18 weeks in. Katara goes into labour early at 35 weeks and Izumi is born really small - she never completely catches up either and it’s hilarious because after successive generations of tall male Fire Lords, they get Izumi who’s barely 5 feet - but she’s otherwise fine. She’s physically a mish-mash so overall she resembles nobody especially - Katara’s hair, complexion and big round eyes, Zuko’s irises, Azula’s heart-shaped face and highly arched brow line, Hakoda’s facial features. The superstition about summer births for firebenders peters out real quick when Izumi, born in the autumn, bends blue fire at two and a half and, taught by Jeong Jeong, she grows into a prodigal master. When she’s young, Izumi is the polar opposite of her brother - feisty, stubborn, determined and whip smart - and she’s a heathen teenager but by about 15 she mellows and matures, and part of Kai’s reasoning for abdicating is that Izumi seems a better fit for Fire Lord. Izumi was always kinda apathetic to kids but at 19, she accidentally gets pregnant and has her son, Kazuo, then her daughter, Kira, eleven years later. Izumi becomes Fire Lord at 37 but she only rules for about 14 years before retiring. Since she had Kaz so young, if she stayed on the throne much longer, Kaz would also be an older man when it came time for him to inherit, so she decides to step aside and Kaz is coronated just after his 33rd birthday.
(Kazuo takes after his Gran Gran in more ways than just his blue eyes; he’s a waterbender so Kaz is the first waterbender Fire Lord)
After a break, Katara and Zuko decide to try for a third addition and Katara gives birth - in the Southern Water Tribe, for the first time - to Bashira, four years after Izumi. Shira looks probably the most like Zuko out of all the children, even more than her elder brother does. They share the same tall and lean physique, the same long black hair, Shira is mixed but still the palest of all the steambabies and their faces are practically identical. They’re characteristically very similar, too - serious, intense and reserved. The only differences is that her hair is curly, her eyes are blue and finally, Katara gets her waterbending child. Both of them suspected that Shira was going to be a waterbender even at the early stages of the pregnancy, but it’s still super exciting when Shira tosses a wave at her elder siblings when she’s two. Katara is teaching her as soon as she possibly can but over time some tension develops between them when Shira turns out to be quite different from her mom in terms of natural bending style. Shira is very fight-oriented, she learns dao swords from Zuko and never shows as much of an interest in the healing arts, but when things blow up and eventually Shira is able to explain that she wants to be able fight like her mom did during the war, things straighten out and Katara guides Shira all the way through to mastery. She eventually moves to the South in her late teens to lead the tribe’s warriors. There, she has three children - waterbender twins Kenzo and Kenji, then a daughter named Kanna who’s a firebender like Grandpa - but the marriage to their father doesn’t last and in her 50s, she ends up in a relationship with Aang and Toph’s daughter, Lin.
Katara gets pregnant for a fourth time - planned - just after Shira turns two, but this time she has a miscarriage. Zuko was overseas when it happened so she went through it alone. Katara is devastated and resents Zuko for not being there. She knows it’s not his fault but she can’t help her emotions and that makes her feel even worse so she just shuts down - stops doing her Fire Lady work, stops spending any more time with Zuko and their children than necessary, won’t let the rest of the family visit them and spends most of the day lying in bed. Zuko doesn’t know how to help her so initially he decides to give her space to grieve however she feels she needs to, but it just deteriorates until one day Zuko suggests that maybe they should both go to therapy or marriage counselling or something because it can’t go on like this. Katara just completely loses it at that and ends up yelling at him all the things that she’d been bottling up over the last couple of months. Katara says some awful things and she’s expecting Zuko to take it poorly, hence why she kept it all inside up till now, but Zuko just accepts every bit of it and after that, she’s finally able to grieve properly and mend.
About six months after they come back together, they decide to try again and Katara eventually falls pregnant. The pregnancy itself goes smoothly but both of them are so stressed about something going wrong like last time and the effect that might have on both of them, then Gran Gran passes away when Katara is in her thirtieth week, so the full ten months were incredibly hard-going.
It’s a big relief when the baby is finally born on Ember Island, three years after Shira in 117 AG. They name her Lili in honour of their recent losses, since lilies can ease scars and Iroh once referred to them as lights in darkness. From the beginning, Lili is the image of Katara in every way physically and characteristically - kind, patient, gentle, but does have quite a temper if she’s pushed too far. She’s also a waterbender, though it takes her a little longer to manifest her abilities than any of her siblings, first gaining control of the water at the age of six. Lili is incredibly endearing, as both a child and an adult, and she becomes so particularly popular with the Fire Nation public that the firebending qualification to be considered an heir to the throne is reversed, so Shira and Lili are inducted into the succession. Born in the same year, Lili had a long-term relationship with Tenzin, Aang and Toph’s thirdborn, but as they grew older, Tenzin was concerned that if he married her, their children would have heritage of all four elements and degrade the chances of Tenzin producing airbenders and continuing the Air Nation. That concern resulted in a kind of on-again-off-again thing but eventually Lili sent him off with an "I don’t want to be with someone that isn’t even sure he wants me" and went travelling the world for a few years. When they’re both in their thirties though, Lili and Tenzin reconnect and get back together, eventually marrying and producing five children - Jinora, Aya, Hiro, Rohan and Kano, the elder four airbenders and the youngest a waterbender.
A few months after Lili is born, Sokka and Suki have a baby girl and when Katara and Zuko go to visit their new niece, they agree that night on a spur-of-the-moment that they want one more child. The morning after, they talk about it properly and decide it’d be better to wait till Lili was a bit older, but Katara found out six weeks later that that one time had been successful. About halfway through, they find out that they’re expecting a boy and Katara is especially excited since their son had always been more closely attached to her whereas their girls were very firmly Daddy’s girls. Sure enough, when Kallik arrives in 118 AG, he’s a big Mama’s boy and remains so his entire life. Apart from his curly black hair, Kallik is the spitting image of his uncle, to the point that Hakoda says that seeing Lili and Kallik together is like seeing young Katara and Sokka. Kallik is the hardest to handle out of their children - loud, playful, mischievous and an exhausting troublemaker. All of the siblings fight like cat and dog but Kallik and Izumi are by far the worst, on the level of one walks into a room and the other is like “And I took that personally” and they never seem to grow out of it even when they’re both old and grey. Kallik is the only nonbender in the family and initially he struggles with this a bit but he spends a lot of time hanging out with Uncle Sokka, learns dao swords with Shira and Zuko, and by the time he hits his teens, he comes to view it more as something that sets him apart from his siblings. When he’s 18, he goes to join the United Forces and he stays in service till his late thirties, when he meets Ren, another serviceman from the Northern Water Tribe. After beginning a relationship with him, the pair settle in Republic City and end up adopting two daughters, Kirima and Alasie.
About a decade after Kallik is born, it seems like things are kind of slowly drawing to a close as the kids are getting older - Kai is 19 and has left home, Izumi is 18 and living away in Republic City while she studies at university, Shira is 14 and already talking about moving South the first chance she gets, Lili is 11 and wanting to go Northern Water Tribe to train with the healers there, and Kallik is 10 and dreaming of being a great military commander like Grandpa Koda and Uncle Sokka - when suddenly Katara starts to get really, really sick. Zuko is absolutely terrified, thinking that there’s something seriously wrong with his wife, but after some deduction, it turns out that Katara is actually pregnant again. The relief at realising she’s not dying is short-lived and the reaction from both of them is basically holy shit holy fuck we are too old for this our other kids are practically all grown up now we are done with babies we can't seriously have six children what are we going to do. There’s a lot of discussion, especially since Katara is 43 by then and the risks for her to be carrying another child are higher, but they ultimately decide to go through with it. Ironically, it’s the easiest of all her pregnancies and when Katara delivers a baby girl in Republic City in 128 AG, there hadn’t been a single complication to speak of. Iroh had passed away two years earlier, devastating the whole family but Zuko in particular, but the baby is born with his irises - a darker gold - so they name her Ilah. Her eyes are big and round like Katara’s but other than that, Ilah resembles her Grandma Ursa most strongly, with her thick chestnut-coloured hair and slight, delicate facial features. Naturally, Katara and Zuko think all their babies were the cutest baby but Ilah is probably objectively the cutest, with her big honey-coloured eyes, chubby cheeks and soft little curls.
Inevitably, since Kai, Shira, Lili and Kallik had all either left home before she was born or did so when she was still a little girl, Ilah gets a lot more concentrated attention from Katara and Zuko. She’s completely spoiled and doted upon by the whole family, including her elder brothers and sisters who visit her as often as they can manage. Since Izumi still lives in the palace permanently as the Crown Princess, she and Ilah are close, but Ilah ultimately ends up being closest with Izumi’s son, Kaz, who is only a year younger than his aunt. Ilah was even in the room when Kaz was born, though it wasn't an intentional move. Zuko was supposed to be watching Ilah when things got intense with Izumi’s labour but things escalated from 0-100 real fast and Katara didn't have time to hand Ilah off, so she stayed tucked in a sling on her mother’s back as Katara helped her eldest daughter to deliver her own baby, somehow sleeping through all the noise and commotion. Ilah and Kaz end up more like a brother and sister or best friends than an aunt and nephew, though Kaz always calls her Auntie Ilah when he’s teasing her. Ilah is perhaps the shyest around strangers of her siblings, uninterested in celebrity and attention, but she’s the most adventurous, determined and creative, interested in science and invention from an early age. Growing up, Ilah felt a little pressured by the renown of her family, especially when her firebending turned out to be just about average in power, but when she’s 12, Ilah figures out that she can combustionbend. From there, she applies her bending abilities to science and when she leaves home for university, she invents the combustion engine at age 20. The rest of her adult life is spent travelling virtually non-stop, working on innovation projects for the different nations. She never has children, on the account that it would be unfair to expect a kid to move around as much as she does and she’s happy enough with her numerous nieces and nephews, but she eventually marries her long-time girlfriend Li-Mei, an Air Nomad tasked with searching the world for new airbenders.

👀 ocs. hand them over
ok so i’m going to. do this in something approaching chronological order
1. yangchen team avatar!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
in order that’s jinhai, jiahao and yuka. jinhai is half nwt and half fire nation, and a noble raised in the fire nation who ran away to the nwt to learn waterbending and ran into yangchen yuka and jinhai (who yangchen has gradually adopted as she travels around the world in her youth). jiahao is a poor village boy from the heart of the earth kingdom who dates yangchen until his death. the first two die for yangchen in their thirties (all four of them are around the same age). yuka is from the swt, the token nonbender of the gaang and has depression. they also like coffee an unreasonable amount and actively encourage jinhai’s rulebreaking tendencies.
2. post-korra team avatar!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
gavi, aaliyah, junsik (named after hei-ran’s husband, yes) and not technically an oc but post-lok ikki! gavi and junsik are both mixed fire/earth kids from yu dao and aaliyah is from a rich water tribe/earth kingdom family in ba sing se. gavi is the avatar, junsik is his criminal best friend (his nickname is kira. it means killer. cheery), and aaliyah fled from ba sing se to yu dao after her family was killed during the earth kingdom civil war. junsik’s left eye is fucked up after an unsavoury experience with a spirit and his firebending is weird colours. gavi/the avatar in general is wanted dead so the only types of bending they use are subtypes like sandbending metalbending bloodbending healing and a new type of bending based on combining manipulating light and spirit called shadowbending. also bc of that pesky ek civil war set off by korra’s death ikki is working there as humanitarian aid. she hides her tattoos and mostly wears water/earth clothes. also as always! nonbinary

1, 7, 24 for the OC thingy ! ✨
1. Your first OC ever?
I believe it was this person:
Tumblr media
I made her when I was 13! Her name’s Kira, and she was this cool ninja vigilante who was also a princess of a Viking-style kingdom (sister of the Queen), and she had scarlet witch powers p much.
But I kept her! She’s changed a bit over the years. Here’s my most recent (not THAT recent; may 2019) decent drawing of her:
Tumblr media
She’s still a princess of a Viking-style kingdom and a vigilante, but now she’s the host of the Water Spirit and so is basically a waterbender. And she’s part of a group of outlaws, headed by Dyani Alvarzhan from the previous ask!
7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories?
LITERALLY ALL OF THEM!!!!! All of those 43 main characters are main characters of stories (I have so many more side character ocs too lol). For real, they all have such developed stories and backstories and worlds even though I am WELL aware I am not going to make anything of their stories lol.
24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?
Right right, I’m actually gonna choose someone this time around... um... maybe Hayda Athielle?
Tumblr media
She’s fun and quirky and is basically my love of history as a person.

Then there will be a diplomatic meeting with three representatives newly elected to the Vedek Assembly, all from the Rakantha Province. Lactaid Acid Worf says, very seriously, “Dairy products are dishonorable.” Kira’s mouth drops open, and O’Brien raises both eyebrows. Bashir clamps a hand over his own mouth to hide a laugh. Worf looks at each of them in the eye, one after the other after the other, and nods. “Excuse me. I must go.” Fen'Harel's Teeth: Fire in the Empire “What’re you smiling about?” Dorian asks. Imladris slows. “Why do you want to know?” “Because I’m bored,” Dorian says. “Because there’s not a lot to smile about. Unless you’re thinking about me. Are you? I am very charming.” “My favorite Tevene,” Imladris tells him. “Just above Corypheus.” He Rises Becket says, “Yeah,” and waits. It takes Magda a second to realize he is expecting her to rearrange the stacked lemons so they can see the side of the building. She squeezes once, hard, the lemon in her hand, and digs her nails in.
“Hold this,” she tells Becket, and smiles. The Apotheosis of Julia Augusta Riley hardly thinks an hourly ferry to Capri counts as a ship. They clear their throat to keep from coughing. “Uh—ah. Mm. I want to visit Tiberius Augustus’ villa. You know, I think I’ve remembered what your hair reminds me of. The puff reminds me of a crown. Like, ah, Cleopatra?” “It’s called a nodus,” the lady says sharply. “But you may surmise that it is a kind of crown. But, my friend, you’re in the wrong place if you want Tiberius! You’re heading to Julia’s island, not that awful man’s.” Freezing clammily Riley begins to sweat. Stray Dog Then someone is holding her hair back as she weeps, vomitting, into a commode. The dumplings, coming up, leave her mouth greasy and sour, but what is worse than the taste is that she is alone and she doesn’t know the woman who is holding her hair, and Lin turns to snap at her and then realizes she doesn’t have hands. “Woah,” Lin manages, still drunk. “Cool whips.” “Just get it all out, honey,” the waterbender with the water arms says. “Puke it out so you won’t cry about him later.”

Hey there! Can you please write what element bender you think the Wammy boys and Kiras would be? Thanks!
Hey there Anon!! I only watched Avatar: The Last Airbender. (I have to watch LOK soon!!) So im only going by that!!
L: Earth
Earth benders are very persistent and stubborn. Strong Willed. When they set their minds to something, they will complete it. He is all of these things. The key to earthbending is utilizing neutral jing, which involves waiting and listening for the right moment to strike. Comparing this to the way he is as a detective, I think it matches pretty well.
Near: Water
Waterbenders deal with the flow of energy; they let their defense become their offense, turning their opponents' own forces against them. Near does this often in the series. He allows the flow of the case to take its course until he finally makes the final move. I find his deduction skills very graceful actually and It lines up with how waterbenders use the flow of water.
Mello: Fire
I feel like this is very self explanatory but! Fire bending is very intense and fierce. Mello’s personality is very hot headed but he is able to control himself when it comes to his plans. He may do things that seem like he is not thinking, but he has already planned out everything.
Matt: Air
Airbenders are very peaceful. I assume  (since we don’t get to see much of him) that Matt is easy going. The key to airbending is flexibility and finding and following the path of least resistance. He tends to do things that seem the easiest but is also very defensive, when the situation comes to it.
Beyond Birthday: Earth
Ha! I bet you thought I was going to pick Fire. Nope! Beyond is probably one of the most persistent and stubborn of them all. I think he would be the type that can metal bend if he puts his mind to it. He sees differently than most people and is very good at predicting the next move and already having his plan of attack. (It’s also a plus that he bends the same as L)
Light: Fire
Okay this boy can defiantly Lightning bend. The ability to produce lightning by separating the positive and negative energies internally, That Light is able to do when he acts like the perfect son while still being Kira. Fire is the element of power, consisting of overpowering force tempered by the unflinching will to accomplish tasks and desires. I believe that fits Light pretty well, and his mission to make a new world.
Mikami: Fire
Yes he is also a Fire bender. He is very aggressive when he is killing with the death note, and has a sense of hatred for people who are unworthy of living. He would use his firebending for a war for justice.
Takada (Don’t know If we count her as a Kira but) : Earth
She lays low most of the time, waiting for the moment to strike in a situation. I think this shows a lot when she had dinner with Misa. She is also very persistent and will work towards a goal with 100 percent of her will.
Misa: Okay yeah Non bender
I don’t see Misa controlling an element. This does not make her weak, in the show there were plenty of non benders. I see her as someone like Ty lee, who is able to stop the flow of chakra in a person, stopping their bending.
I hope you enjoyed! Thanks for the Ask!!

Idea: Avatar AU of Teen Wolf where Scott McCall, an earthbender, is revealed to be the Avatar on his sixteenth birthday and then has to master all the elements to defeat a prophesied dark spirit or uprising or something.
Among his traveling companions, making up his Team Avatar, we have his best friend, Stiles and his trusty (barely holding together airship), an infamous Yu Yuan archer named Allison, a vain but badass airbender named Lydia with a deep connection to the spirit world, her rich boyfriend Jackson, a timid firebender who mastered the skill of lightning named Kira, and Malia, a girl raised by spirits who has a hard time adjusting to the material world.
Might include Danny as the team waterbender who may or may not have a crush on Scott.

as promise, 2nd ask, do you have personal hcs of the Wammy Boy's and how they became orphans. If you don't want to answer that which is find I would like to think of funny waterbending L
My headcanon for Mello is that he was raised in an abusive household. His mother struggled with opioid addiction and died of an accidental heroin overdose when he was just a few years old. His father was an alcoholic and petty criminal who didn't give a damn about his wife or son. When the man wasn't drinking or wandering off God knows where to do God knows what, he would beat Mello's mom and Mello himself. It was almost a relief to Mello when he was finally shot during a black market deal gone wrong.
Near's mother spent all of her short life living in poverty; after Near's father got her pregnant and ran off, taking what little she had, she became destitute and was forced to live on the streets. The pressure of trying to survive and care for a child under those conditions was simply too much. After giving Near a small set of dice to play with as a distraction, she jumped to her death from a high building.
On to the happier waterbending L headcanons...
L often uses his waterbending powers to stim. For example, he might bend the tea or coffee out of his cup and play with it, making water tornadoes or other fun swirly shapes. He often does this during Light's pompous monologues or conversations with Matsuda as a not-so-subtle sign of Disrespect(TM).
He likes freezing water into intricate, complex patterns, which he sometimes stares at for hours.
In addition to learning the traditional waterbending stances at Wammy's House, L picked up several unorthodox techniques during his travels...most notably "Misora style" waterbending. Naomi was a creative bender who invented several new moves based on her experience with street dancing and capoiera, and she passed that knowledge on to L during their collaboration for the Los Angeles B.B. murder investigation.
If he and Watari are near the beach for a case, L likes to ride the waves and bend them to be as tall as possible; he loves that feeling of surveying his surroundings from a giant wave, though the other beachgoers are terrified. XD
He has been known to "accidentally" use his bending to create icy patches on the ground when he and Light are walking together, which has caused Kira to trip and fall at least once. >:3
During his childhood at Wammy's, he used his waterbending powers to save a kitten that had been thrown into a nearby river to drown. She became a close companion of his afterwards.
