Kira has a nightmare, one night when she's staying at the O'Brien's. Miles and Keiko, sleeping in the other room, don't hear her get up - but Molly does.

And Molly, being clever and kind, knows exactly what to do when someone has a nightmare. (Or, at least, she knows what her parents always do for her.) So she sits Kira down and brings her a glass of warm milk, and sits by her side as she drinks it.

Then, she takes Kira by the hand and leads her - to her parents bedroom. "I always sleep with mommy and daddy after a nightmare," she explains, when Kira stops outside the door. "It helps! Mommy chases the scary things away. And Daddy is warm."

"Molly," Kira says quietly, a little embarrassed, "I don't think your parents want me in their bed. Even if I did have a nightmare."

"No, they won't mind!" Molly assures.

Then, of course, Miles wakes up.

"Molly?" he asks, voice rough with sleep. "Did you have a nightmare?"

"No, but Miss Kira did!"

And now Keiko's awake, too, sitting up and saying, "Nerys? Are you alright?"

Mortified, Kira says, "Yes, I'm fine, I was just - on my way back to bed. Molly brought me here. I'm - sorry for waking you. I'll just be-"

"You can stay, if you want," Miles offers.

Kira doesn't quite think she heard him right. "What?"

"You can sleep here, if you think it might help," Keiko says.

"Or even if you don't!" Miles adds.

Kira opens her mouth, then closes it again. "I, uh-"

Keiko gets up, and takes Kira, gently, by the hand. Her palm is soft, Kira can't help but notice.

"Brr, it's freezing out here!" Keiko says, tugging Kira along. "You'd better get in before you catch your death of cold. Miles is practically a furnace, so you'll be nice and warm with us."

"And, Molly, you'd best go back to bed, too. You've got school in the morning," Miles says, as Keiko bundles Kira into the bed between them.

As Molly makes her way out, Keiko swings a lazy arm over Kira's back. "Sleep," she hums. "We'll be here in the morning."

Kira, feeling warm and cared for and more than a little overwhelmed, does.

my fairly oddparents ocs :) tsubaki is an overachiever who thinks she’s mature for her age (she’s just a kid.) and believes wishing for things to go her way is too childish, while kira is her easygoing, friendly, butler-like godfather that gladly goes along with her bizarre wishes. one day, tsubaki lied about being an esper to her classmates so now she has to rely on kira for her “tricks” and “chasing away ghosts”. hazel does notice that she mutters the phrase “I wish” a lot, though…

tsubaki wants to find loopholes in da rules for her beliefs, thinking that she’s gonna be doing them a favor ("I wonder how far the extent of the fairies’ power is") while kira is one of the few fairies to actively vocalize their opinions regarding the hypocrisy and flaws in the godparenting system, so he's somewhat infamous in the fairy world. they’re on the same wavelength. also kira may or may not have worked for big daddy in the past and that’s why he’s been taking interest in peri’s potential

For some reason, the dnd:hat movie has been living rent-free in my head for over a week. Xenk is just rattling around in there right now, having a long talk with Kira about morality, mortality, personal sacrifice, and being a child who saw the Beckoning Death unleashed on their home.

I feel like Xenk would have a lot to say that Kira needs to hear, and be a good listener for the things Kira needs to talk about that she can't tell her dad or Holga. He'd probably benefit from talking to her, too. Kira almost experienced the same tragedy he did when he was her age. It would be cathartic for him to help her through that, knowing he helped save her from ever experiencing what he went through

THUNDERMANS: UNDERCOVER ⚡️⚡️SPOILERS (KINDA)

Just watched the preview episode before the back to back episodes air on the 22nd of January!

I LOVEEDDD IT. Here's a few things.

- The NEW OPENING!! I was expecting it but it still hit me hard!

- Max and Phoebe acting like adults is so weird, but I like it! LOL

- Their chemistry as actors is PERCECT for the roles they take on.

- Chloe is SO SASSY, I see so much max whenever she's being extra sassy.

- New characters are hilarious!! Love them so much.

- the new setting and the growth of the thundermans universe is majorly at play. I'm here for it!!

- max and phoebe taking on a new major threat does not compare to what they're taking on with chloe! lol poor things. They're in for it.

- MAX AND PHOEBE ARE ADULTS ADULTING LOOL WILD. ( fuck I'm old )

- to add to the last bit, the trio works VERY WELL. Mayas chemistry with her onscreen siblings is at large and it just flows so nicely. They really are a little family 🥺⚡️

Misa's debut and the second kira reveal arc is so badass, now i want to find a fic where Misa threatened Light instead of offering herself up as his tool. The 3D mind games between Light, Misa, and L would've been so cool

my favourite part of Death Note is that it's an excellent critique of how ridiculous and horrible police/policing ideology/punitive justice is when taken to its natural conclusion/extreme, but the old man writing it absolutely did not have that in mind -- as evidenced by the fact that he had the Good Normal Police take down This Unhinged Freak Who Thinks We Should Kill Criminals (tho tbf I do think it's a pointed critique of the death penalty - "it's still murder even if they're death row criminals" like it's not spelled out but it's pretty obvious the death penalty is murder too then. But the author kinda gives up on acknowledging the normal "justice" system isn't 100% prefect by the end). like I'm not 100% certain but I do think Light's dad was just made a policeman for plot convenience & possibly to explain why criminals take up so much space in Light's head, not because the Kira's ideology could only be developed by the child of a cop. (L would have used that as evidence it was the case.) Also the author said Mr. Cop Father is good.

i’m almost at the end of teen wolf season 4. and i think now i know more than ever…. i really could not care less about allison. i genuinely did not care about a single plot line of hers. meanwhile literally every other character i love. even her own mother was more interesting and she was barely there.

Anyways I really think Stiles and Lydia should graduate and form an independent detective agency together and Scott can be the high school lacrosse assistant coach and a vet, and together they could watch over all beacon hills.

Light he/him definitely got that parentification beam but only set at like. 65%. Light she/her got it at max voltage. They both have eldest daughter syndrome tho.
