Hey, I actually started watching HOTD just some days ago (thanks to tumblr constantly throwing fics at me with very promising summaries and gifs of very pretty men until I couldn't resist any more) and now I keep rereading everything you write about Aegon because it's just so good and just everything I need.

Could I maybe request some more about Aegon crying during sex, maybe he tries to hide it but he can't keep it quite so his wive notices anyways. I'm currently just really addicted to the idea of holding him and telling him he's doing fine

Absolutely we can discuss all of this!!! I am always glad to welcome another into the crybaby!aegon agenda. I intended for this to be fully soft and smutty and well... there's a fair amount of angst too I am sorry in in advance but I promise it ends well!! So obviously as we all know, Aegon is not exactly a virgin. You knew this going into your marriage with him, hell just about every person in the entire seven kingdoms knew this. You were fine with it, well, as fine as you can be. You weren't expecting a marriage of love, or even of companionship. You knew you'd have to give him a few heirs, and then after that you doubted you'd even see much of him. That was fine, you wanted to be queen and you are queen. You can withstand a bit of Aegon's infidelity for that title.

What you don't expect, however, is how utterly shocked and taken with you your new husband seems to be the moment you show him any amount of human decency? It's like he expected you to actively try to kill him and the fact that you actually greet him in the mornings and ask him how his day went during dinner means he must now follow you around like some sort of sad puppy?

Meanwhile for Aegon, he was also certain he'd just make some heirs and then barely see you. I think his belief would mostly be because of Allicent actually? All Allicent ever told him from the moment he came of age was how much of a disappointment he was and how she would need to find a way to ensure that he doesn't completely fuck up the entire of the seven kingdoms. And when she tells him that she's found him a wife, he immediately knows she would have chosen someone who was with her agenda and would have already convinced the person that he would be useless.

But, nevertheless, he decided he would do his duty.

What he did not expect, however, was how... cordial you were with him? And not only that, you seemed to actually try to be nice to him?? He really doesn't know what to do with himself when he comes into your shared quarters after dinner to perform his required duties and instead of just rolling over and telling him to be done with it, you actually start by talking to him? And... and asking about his day??

And then when he answers, you respond? And you lament with him about how ridiculous and uptight most of the people in the castle are? He's so shocked that you even want to converse with him at all.

He doesn't even end up trying for an heir. He just... has an hour long conversation with you that ends with him nearly falling asleep against your shoulder and then when he realises the position he's in, he quickly bids you goodnight and leaves to his quarters.

It goes like that for a little while, except now you seem to be seeing Aegon everywhere? It's like he's actually trying to run into you as much as possible so that he can ask what you've been doing and have even the smallest conversation with you.

It reaches a point where you actually start to see his eyes light up every time he sees you, and well, you have no fucking idea what to do with that because your husband hasn't tried for an heir since your wedding night and has instead been scrambling for any ounce of your attention.

You consider going to Allicent about it, because she's starting to ask questions about whether you've bled for the month yet or not to figure out if you have an heir for them, but then you decided it against it because honest Aegon just looks so happy? You know if you speak to Allicent then she will set Aegon straight and it'll go back to how it was the first night. You don't want that. You don't want to see the weight back on Aegon's shoulders.

I actually think that as you get closer, and Aegon starts to realise he might have a real genuine confidant, he gets more and more nervous about actually having sex with you?

Aegon thinks he knows all there is to know about sex, and he's certainly has enough women in his bed to understand the mechanics if nothing else, but he doesnt want that with you. The women in the brothels he's been with... sure it felt good but deep down he knew it was fake and they knew it too. They'd put on a show for him, do whatever they thought would make him happy and while yes it most certainly did make him happy, it also made him... empty? Yeah, empty.

As he gets to know you and enjoy being with you, his heart starts to ache at the thought of you going into that mode that all the others seemed to where they just let him get his business over with and then promptly left the room. He knows that's what you're supposed to do, but he can't quite bring himself to do it because fuck he just, he really likes you and he's not sure where to go with this.

He's never had anyone actually make him feel safe before? And yeah you're extremely attractive but you also listen to him complain and make him laugh and genuinely care about him and he's just very lost.

He goes back to the brothel then, because he thinks he needs to just sleep with another woman and remind himself how good that feels and then he'll be able to bring himself to go do what he's supposed to do with you.

You don't know this of course.

Well, you don't know until about 2 hours after Aegon left for the brothel when he comes barging into your private chambers with tears in his eyes and promptly begs for forgiveness.

You obviously haven't a clue what's going on, but you pull him into a hug anyway and ask him what this is about.

Through many whines and sobs he eventually manages to explain that he went to a brothel, tried to fuck a whore and... couldnt? You try to get him to explain what he could mean by that and he kinda just buries his head in his hands and sobs even harder.

So at this point you've fully given up trying to figure out what's going on and you just pull him against your chest and press soft kisses into his hair. He melts against you, his body going slack as he nuzzles his nose against the exposed skin at your gown's neckline.

Once he's calmed down, he still doesn't move, but he does manage to whisper what happened.

He went to a brothel intent on fucking a whore to get himself back into the swing of things and then the following day to actually fulfil his duties as husband. Except, the moment the brothel worker kissed him he felt terrible and pushed her off. They brought in more women, and he couldnt do it. He... he felt like he was betraying you.

Eventually you just pull away to make him look at you and ask him, "What do you want? Genuinely, what do you want?"

He's silent for a moment, then he surges forward and kisses you. It's the first time you've kissed him since your wedding night, and this time it's like he's melting into your arms.

You kiss him back, and you have to tug at his hair to make him stop so you can breathe and repeat the question. He tries to kiss you again, but you tighten your grip on his hair to prevent him. The whine he lets out at being denied is fucking sinful, but you won't give in until he's actually told you want he wants.

"Wanna... wanna be good for you," he says eventually, "I don't want to be how I was before, I don't want all that emptiness I just... how do I be good?"

This time, you're the one that starts the kiss and he lets you just manhandle him so easily. He's so pliant under you, whining and whimpering and looking insanely gorgeous as he tries to touch you.

You ride him, and fuck the way tears just run down his eyes as he thanks you and grips your hips is life changing. He's so good like this, all worked up and squirmy and so so turned on. But he doesn't act, not at all. You started this, and he's not going to do a thing, he wants to your plaything, nothing more.

He turns his head to the side as you start to ride him properly, trying to hide how tears are just streaming down his cheeks but you take his chin in your hand and turn him to face you. You stop riding him for a second to wipe the tears away.

"You're so good," you promise him, "couldnt even get yourself off anymore, huh?" He whines and nods and cries, because you get it, you get it.

"I'll take care of you then," you say, smirking when he actually groans in relief, "but," you carry on, "then you're mine, yeah? Only mine, no more brothels or whores or servants."

And fuck if that isnt the easiest promise he's ever made.

(Just a quick sidenote to end off this novel: We should discuss himbo!aegon with his queen who does absolutely everything. Yes he's technically the king but in practice his only job is to look pretty and listen to wife and he is truly living his absolute best life)

Thinking and pondering about the bedding ceremony with cregan. prior to the ceremony he pulls you aside, the nervousness and discomfort evident in your demeanour as the moment approaches. he implores you to reveal what it is that troubles you, what has brought you such discomfort on your wedding day, what troubles his darlings wife’s pretty head, and how what shall he do in order to bring you happiness on such a day where you are most paramount to him. he would not have your holy matrimony be built on such negative feelings. so when he finally clocks that it is the bedding ceremony… or moreso its audience that concerns you, all bets are off. he grabs your face and tilts it towards his own and makes his final vow for the night, that for as long as you are his wife, he shall do naught to displease you or indignify you. though some insolent voices amongst the “welcomed” guests (horny lords, medieval porn addicts) urged him to maintain the tradition that is not oft broken. for every great man there are tenfold lesser men.

Here's some info on the three characters in the header, from left to right!

#1 — Dr. Immanuel Icarus Faust

❝ It wasn't supposed to be like this... I've failed... as both a doctor and a man of faith. I wanted to follow your teachings, dear Goddess, and guide those who seek wisdom and knowledge, as grandmother did... but I couldn't even save one innocent girl. Have I become godless? ❝

Raised by his grandmother, the High Priestess of Solbrynn's temple, Immanuel was taught from an early age on to aspire to be the best in everything he attempted to do and dedicate his life to wisdom, in order to make the Goddess Adira proud. Having become a renowned physician at the age of 28, Immanuel understands himself as his kingdom's ideal of a self-made man: a scholar who can achieve everything he puts his mind to, no matter the circumstances. As a result, he has put himself on a pedestal, believing that those who achieved less than him had all the chances and merely didn't use them. Fearing nothing more than failure and becoming anything like his absent, alcoholic father; Immanuel is bound for a rude awakening.

#2 — Morgan Miralaith

Morgan, belonging to a long-lived species from the realm of Calliah, is the second-in-command for the Elsthess Resistance against the Plague Avatars. While the Resistance on Mhorunn regards her as a capable leader and a skilled fighter; using fire magic to blaze her way to victory; it is clear to most that she has many secrets and ulterior motives. She cares about others in her own way, yet hardly lets anyone close to her. With her mischievous demeanor and cynical nature, Morgan has made it her new mission to recruit Immanuel for the Resistance and, while at it, shatter his very distorted self-image and worldview. Upon forging a contract with her, Immanuel believes that he has sold his soul to a demon. It is only upon meeting others of her kind that he realizes that really is just her personality.

#3 — Mortis Grimm

❞ People reject that which is foreign to them. You of all people should know this. Still, my personal aspirations and origins are of no concern to you. Remember that. ❝

While there are several people from the Realm of Calliah in Elsthess, the realm that Mortis Grimm originated from is unknown. He seems to be the only one of his kind and there is something sinister about him. Wielding powerful magic that matches no other in recorded nature, Mortis, despite being the leader of the Resistance, is a big mystery to all of its members. Usually donning a Plague Doctor mask, Morgan is among the few to have seen his face. He is Mhorunn's greatest ally, but hardly a trusted one. Most understand that he could just as well become its greatest enemy one day.

Bitter but serving, defiant yet devoted, loving though possessive. How the gods above, below, and in between love no means are equal. The higher Pantheons have never been so considerably consistent.

Their spirits burn for you, suffocating. Breathtaking. The race doesn't stop until someone reaches the finish line, Heaven itself can throw their stones but will all sunk into the deafening weight of the pond.

Although the masters of their craft hide their deeper yearning behind carefully molded masks, their silk-touched mouths burn hotter than any existing blaze on Earth. No surface safe from their tongues. Scorching, seething, bubbling a forbidden desire in your nerves. Licked off your fingers, suckling on your nibbled nape.

Encarved in the binding form of a mark on willing flesh, you become God's ambrosia.

From Poseidon, Hades, Buddha and Loki.

Poseidon bites to infectiously possess you.

To ruin you, claim you, punish you.

Cure the strange urge you somehow awakened within the beast, the Kraken is never easily tamed, no dark calamity of the sea is.

While it's usually more content with ripping out your throat, Poseidon finds himself far more fond of another idea. The idea of owning who he deems belongs to him, showing you just how "affectionate" a god of his caliber can truly get. Your skin will suffer punishment personally, you should be honored, no one in this realm can say they survived a night with Poseidon.

How dare you drag him as lowly as this? Make him ache an uncanny emotion?

Like he "actually" needs you. A true god is a supreme being, the gods hold their thrones and the mortals are squished under the pillars. Gods need no supporters, hold no desire for one to long for.

Yet...

Here with you underneath him as are all living things, he is carving you like a shitty ball of candy, irritating his flawless skin like an unbearable itch.

Prepure yourself, Poseidon is a world ending flood of narcissism far from kind. And now that you devote yourself to his kingdom, no other God will answer your prayers, none then how Poseidon sees fit.

The godly embodiment of perfection, the divine empty shell of the seven seas, will raze the very world as you know it to the bottom of the ocean. To secure the siren's gaze of the one person he ever looked directly in the eye, ruthlessness is just another day.

Hades bites you to sate deep, lonely longing.

Savoring the pomegranate. He claims your skin, one of a kind, valuable yet vulnerable-gloriously ravaging it for all its blood and seed. To Hades, the journey is the destination.

For the tart that will fuel his senses for ages to pass, haunt his dreams for centuries without rest, Hades takes you. His blissful offering. Teeth buried in your too clean neck like they always belonged there, sucking veins and lewd delight shines bright in your wanton moans. Hades is an easy man to please, a simple God with simple desires. You need only be present; Laid out before him, bare, ready to receive a god. Your god.

Begging to be noticed, drunk. Willfully forget the outside world alike how Hades desires to dispell his household's looming shadow of death and despair, desperate for peace. A piece of the light sealed tight in a vault saved only for himself, just to be selfish. The last rose plicked from the bush, thorns dull, olden petals withering. For all your flaws, for all your scars, Hades cares not for appearance.

Hades sees and feels your suffering. He orders a judgment, a statement for no other than his beloved; you shall unveil in a realm of insatiable release, no gravity, weightless of responsibility, free of tension. Just you and Hades.

He too-wants to take you over the very edge of reality, feel an anicent pleasure so intense none can ever hope to compare. His hands skillfully play you, a young Beethoven's brilliance. Ears perked, his careful hands primed to the brim. Touch freezing cold as a corpse, depraved long enough, hungry for anything that may satisfy your gluttonous appetite.

Hades kindly aids you in this problematic endeavor, considerate, ever desperate to seek your pleasure and worship. Aiming to please, damn him to Hell. In exchange, help him reach his limit as well. Each sweet bite, every caressing of gentle teeth and lovely pain-is patient. An everlasting eternity, sincerity, marked upon your collarbone, fresh red as an apple.

Another bite is planted in the depths of your bones, your small brusies meeting Hade's fine, healing kiss; A sacred promise for more, one Hades personally ensures, a lonesome sprout furfilled to the fullest potential.

One area after another, loving barrages of deep cresent moons, nothing left untended. Drop of blood here, soft murmurs of delicate devotion there, numerous heavy quakes-the sinster echo of a dark growl against his chest. His fangs are small but fierce. Sensitive. Blade sharp on mortal flesh or opposite.

Pride will swell beautifully in Hades's heart at the sight of his memory on your body, lusterous evidence of how far he will sink to adore you is better than using any word to describe it.

Buddha bites to be greedy and cherish the taste of the most wonderful blessing ever received.

Buddha bothers with no secrets, especially not when it comes to satisfying his sweet tooth. He loves sweet things, whats there to hate about them?

In Buddha's light and Eighth Consciousness, you are the sweetest thing he ever laid eyes on. A gift he wants to protect and take care of, shower you in unparalled pleasure even the gods can only dream of receiving. God won't be able to save you from him stealing a taste, something he seems not to take seriously despite being in near constant pursuit of it.

He tends to go with the flow, swim as he wills with the scurrying school of fishes. Shutting up needless conversations and covering you in visible bites meant to last months, a personal massage of devotion to your heart and body.

You will be littered in his influence, if you don't reek of that casual enlightened god smell, then his marks will be enough to make a few points across. The Buddha's mark is indomitable, without regret. His bites aren't too steep but are unique. He isn't interested in drawing a blood bath, but you will feel each patient pierce in every inch, nook, and cranny.

You will learn that Buddha is quite the painter, passionate, and easy-going. He has all the time in the world to decorate his favorite canvas. Buddha prefers straight forwardness, both physically and emotionally, but he knows how to appreciate taking it slow.

Observe the immense details of his vast exploration in the mirror, intense, contrasting, painfully obvious in its recent activities. Feel the lingering tingles left behind from his mercliess tusks, goosebumps trailing afterward. The sheer power and energy imursed in his countless marks, his bites almost throb, blood rushing to clot your wounds.

It will take time aplenty to heal if it ever does.

While Buddha lives and breathes, he will continue to selfishly, selflessly indulge in his beloved. In turn, he will graciously let his beloved rule his body as much as they desire.

Loki bites to prove a lie, chasing a selfish self-assuring illusion.

That stotic echo, the deluded feeling lost on his witty tongue. Loki's bite is less pleasent for you then for him, the sadistic god he always is. A mess of unsymmetrical creeping scars and greed for something more then Loki himself can't quite understand- a blatant sincerity beyond his mental comprehension.

Twisting, Loki will scowl at the mere thought of it. He will crumble it up, swallow it up, only to throw it up later. Spat out into dust, a foreign word to the father of lies;
