voltron fanfic idea

its kinda angsty (?) lance’s niece and nephew —  nadia and sylvio wonder why their uncle spoke of voltron differently from how he spoke it to kids he taught. the way their uncle did with their family had inherent venom like he hated all things related to his time in space. years later, they want to find out more. the two set on an adventure around space along with their tio lance, tio hunk, their honorary tìo keith, and aunt pidge to really know more about their time with voltron —  and to help stop another brewing war. but mostly, they're there for the roadtrip.
