okay fine i’ll bring back the egg. sorry for the pun but i’ve been sitting on this for a while because i can’t decide what to name them

they love being warm and must be approximately as snug as a bug in a rug at all times <3

didn’t give much context before but we’re going with that the egg was abandoned in winter horns and recovered by a group of waddle explorers

there wasn’t a lot of (known) writing on dedede’s species so figuring out what to do from there was kinda hard and they didn’t really know anything for certain, but between a little research, a gut feeling, and dedede and mk already used to Parenting, they passed the egg onto them to look after and well. yeah

it was definitely a rollercoaster for dedede, to be given hope that there were others like him after all - so it was only natural he’d take it very seriously. he spends a lot of time with them and they’re very clingy because of it. he says they’re like a duckling

being so big also comes with problems because as clingy as they are, they outgrew being able to be held by other people pretty fast lol

anyway i guess i’ll introduce the other kid next? between the two of them uhh dedede had a very tiring few years. stay at home dad problems i guess. on top of being a king lol

he probably realized how grateful he was that kirby was so independent lol..

Yk a part of me did wish Dedede n Meta knight had at least some sort of small & public fun conflict between each other before they joined Kirby's group and became friends. Just imagining while they were considered as Kirby's main "rivals" at the time, they also try to initiate a rivalry and I mean like "super petty trivial nothing major styled" type of rivalry between each other. It's like looking at a pyramid scheme of some sort of how many frenemies you can make.

As it goes with every new brainrot I have, it’s time for Kirby crossover again :)

Kirby in one piece! With one piece’s strong focus on dreams and found family, I thought it would fit for Kirby to be a pirate that dreams of sailing to the stars and beyond. Not that this is very achievable by normal means, but we know that it’s at least possible with Eneru and the Skypiea arc :D

Kirby has the devil fruit power of the copy-copy fruit! A paramecia activated by contact and only able to copy one fruit at a time. It can copy logias and paramecias with no problems, though actual ability using the fruit’s powers is up to Kirby to practice and figure out. Zoans can only be copied to partial transformations and cannot be awakened. Kirby doesn’t have much of a mind for haki but has a lot of latent conquerer’s haki that he doesn’t realize— it’s one of the reasons he’s able to make friends so effortlessly.

Meta Knight in this AU is a retired marine, between Captain and Rear Admiral level. He has a bat model zoan fruit that allows him to grow wings, and is a skilled swordsman. He’s retired from the marines but acts a his own separate party that is neither revolutionary, marine, nor pirate, keeping his own fleet known as the Meta-Knights. Their actions are similar to pirates despite not flying a Jolly Roger. They claim territory to protect and occasionally fight other pirate crews, and they claim no allegiance to the world government. They simply go where they are needed. Meta Knight will sometimes sail with Kirby on his small ship, the Popstar, just to keep Kirby out of trouble and make sure the ship is well stocked and well-maintained and able to be seaworthy.

Dedede is the king to one of the small countries that isn’t represented at the Reverie. That means he has a lot more freedom to do his own thing, including setting sail while taking a crew of Dees with him and leaving the country in the hands of some administrative Dees. Dedede splits his time between exploring and sailing and returning home to run his country, with the help of his trusty second in command, Bandanna Dee. Dedede has a penguin model Zoan fruit, and Bandanna doesn’t have any devil fruit but is proficient in coating their spear in haki. They’re the designated save-the-fruit-user-from-drowning person when they’re on deck.

Kirby’s crew changes because a lot of the people he recruits tend to have their own responsibilities. His crew is also full of people he’s beaten. It’s not uncommon for Kirby to sail alone, though he gets into more scrapes than usual with bad weather and rough waves. It can hardly be called a pirate crew, but Kirby has collected all the most heinous criminals under his banner and as such, the world government treats it as a threat.

You're Loved, I Promise

The last few hours have been very strange for Meta Knight. Dedede was back, the Beast Pack was . . . friendly for now at least, and the small teal child Kirby and Bandee had befriended is half of a strange world-conquering being.

Currently he and Dedede were sitting in Kirby’s house, leaning against the bed currently occupied by Elfilin, curled up and asleep. Neither of them knew what to say, and so they sat in silence, holding hands like a lifeline.

Meta was the first to break the quiet. “I- after Kirby and Bandee came back . . . without you and Elfilin. I was worried I’d finally lost you. That I’d never see you again.” “ . . .I missed you so much.”

Dedede’s hold on his hand tightened, but nothing came from his partner. Meta tore his gaze from the opposite wall to look at him, and jolted at the sight of tears rolling silently down his face. “Mi amore?” He struggled to keep his voice level “What’s wrong?” “I’m a terrible king.”

His tone was flat, like someone stating an absolute truth. And so, so tired. How had Meta not noticed the dark circles under his eyes? “What?? Dedede, how could you say that?” His voice strained with emotion as he tried not to shout “None of this was your fault.” “Yeah it is. I’ve gotten controlled so many times, and I still can’t fight it off!” Dedede’s voice raised shakily “Meta, I kidnapped my own servants! Didja already forget that?” “Of course I haven’t! But mi amore, I- you- what happened to you wasn’t a personal failing! When it tried to take me as well, its strength was such that I barely managed to fight it off.” “But you fought it off.” “Dedede-” “This is just how it is. Always the puppet who can’t even stop himself from hurting his own subjects. Won’t be surprised if they hate me now for what I-” “DEDEDE.”

The force in Meta’s voice shocked Dedede, and he finally turned to look at him. His mask lay discarded at his side, and his eyes were full of concern, tinted reddish-orange by the setting sun. “No one hates you, I promise. Everyone I’d talked to was worried, asking when you’d come back or if I knew what had you this time. They were scared for you, all of them.” “But-” “Bandee came to me after he came back from fighting you. He was on verge of tears out of fear for you. He’d kept his calm through everything else, the destruction and fighting, but he was so scared he was going to lose you. We both were. “They could never hate you, mi amore. I could never hate you. I promise.”

Meta took a breath, barely aware that he’d started to cry too. Dedede was speechless. He hadn’t even thought that the dees would be so worried. The two stared at each other, Meta squeezing his partner’s hand like he might disappear if he let go.

A whine forced its way out of Dedede’s throat, and like the breaking of a dam, he finally collapsed. Throwing his arm over his partner’s shoulder, he slumped over, sobbing uncontrollably.

Meta wrapped his wings around Dedede, and gently scratched the feathers of his neck with his free hand. He didn’t try to speak, just hummed softly as his love let out the repressed emotion.

Minutes passed by, and as the last rays of sunlight faded, Dedede’s sobs slowed and stopped. Eventually he pulled his head back, and blue eyes looked into silver and gold. He sighed heavily, and gave a tired smile. “ . . . thanks.” “Of course, starlight,” Meta’s eyes glowed softly in the darkening dusk ”I know you’d do the same for me.” “Mmn” The arm resting on his knight’s shoulder moved to cup his cheek in one hand, and he leaned a little closer. “An’ I always will too.” Meta smiled softly, leaning forward as well. “As will I.” Nothing more was said as the space between them shortened to nonexistence, and their lips met. They only separated when they fell asleep in eachothers arms, wrapped around each other seamlessly.

Elfilin raised their head and blinked sleepily at the sleeping couple. They’d been listening a while, and suspected they shouldn’t tell anyone about what they heard. But the way Dedede talked suggested this wasn’t the first time something like this had happened. That was worrying. Maybe they could find a way to ask Bandee or Kirby, once they were strong enough to make a portal again. They stood up on all fours and stretched, tail flicking. Somewhat unsteadily, they started to float towards the exit, planning to find something to eat. Pausing in front of the door, they glanced back at Dedede and Meta, sound asleep. Then they took the door handle in their front paws and floated out.

HUGS! (ft. Kirby characters) pt.1

He's my baby, He's our baby. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

He'll be more than happy to hug you if he knows you. After all, (almost) everyone is his friend!

He'll make happy sounds, and will ask you to hold him.

May or may not fall asleep in your arms...

He doesn't need a reason, he's just made of love <3

But if I had to write about any situation... it'd be this:

You had a rough day, Meta Knight's hard training lessons, Dedede's nagging, and various things that just drained your energy. You were in the beach, looking at the sea as your thought started to fill your mind. If only you could mute your consciousness...

What you didn't notice, however, was the small heroe next to you, who let out a concerned "poyo?" At the sight of a sad friend.

You didn't notice him run away either, but you did saw him running back to you with some apples. He sat next to you and gave you one of them happily, as if he were trying to cheer you up. He listened to your problems, and even if he didn't understand some of them, he comforted you as best as he could.

You two saw the sunset begin, and he jumped in your arms. It was int that moment that you realize that you'll always have a friend who's willing to listen to you, no matter what. Although he may fall asleep in your arms after that, like what was happening at the moment.

Meta knight

No. At least, not without asking for permission.

Let's be honest, he's a cold knight and even if he cares for his friends he's not a fan of physical contact.

So it takes a lot, A LOT of hard work to get him to trust you. Many battles and long training sessions, nights of talking and insufferable scolding during hikes.

He does that because he cares for your safety, but you're still a stranger to him. Though, your resilience and kindness have surprised this stoic knight.

Seeing you work hard and smile everyday was suspicious, not many are able to pass his training...

But one day, he saw you crying in your quarters out of exhaustion. He felt... guilty.

So he decided to set his ego to the side and apologize.

Try to imagine the expression under his mask when you told him you just wanted to make him proud because you didn't feel like you belonged to dreamland. :(

He hugged you. It was akward, yes, but it's the thought that matters. He feels bad for you, after all.

Meta had the great Idea of asking you to meet up for lunch the next day, to get to know eachother.

King Dedede

In his defense, he was very cold.

Winter in Dreamland, a strange sight but always welcomed by the most playful ones.

You came to Dreamland not too long ago, and the self-claimed king has hated you ever since. I mean, getting back at him for his insults is so unfair....! (Cue him throwing a fit at poor escargoon because you always manage to see him coming at you with a new scheme to ruin your day)

So when he saw you giving away sweet, hot chocolate to people in the town, he became furious (He wanted you to offer him hot chocolate too). He got closer to throw subtle comments about your chocolate not being tasty, and it ended up in a snowball fight.

What he didn't expect, was you covering him completely in snow.

It seems like Meta knight's training was worth it, after all.

This all leads us to the current situation: him having catched a cold and staying in your guest room at the castle. "It was your fault, you take care of him" (Escargoon's words).

He looked at your figure entering the bedroom with some (burning hot) soup and a cup, not really being in the mood to take medicine. You had to practically force him to finish the soup, but there were no problems when he realized the mysterious cup was filled with your hot chocolate.

After that, when the tiredness started to kick in, you decided it was a good moment to get to know him. Turns out he's not that bad, he's just... lonely. And traumatized (For everything that happens to him in the games).

You were about to go away, but he stopped you. You were about to ask why, when he sat up amd wrapped his arms around you. "Please" was the only thing he said. You really couldn't say no, huh?

You may have gotten a cold last night, but hey, at least you don't have a tyrant making your life impossible everyday! Now, you just have a whiny penguin nagging you with his schemes and plans. If you already understood Escargoon's suffering, now you two bond over it. Waddle Dee's

MY BABIES

It was an average friday. You used to watch movies every friday night before coming to Dreamland, and it didn't change since there were TV's here too.

You put on whatever movie you could find, grabbed some snacks, a blanket, and sat on the couch. Everything was normal, until you heard a soft knock on the door. It was Bandana Waddle Dee, who came to see if you were doing alright. You cpuld tell he was happy when you offered him to sit next to you.

You talked to him through the entire movie, sharing the snacks and the blankets, carrying him to his quarters when he fell asleep. (He's so pure I can't-)

He came back the next friday, and the next, but that time he brought two other Waddle Dee's with him, claiming that they were following him. Fortunately, you had more that enough snacks for everyone.

But as weeks passed, your room started to get more crowded, to the point that you had to improvise a projector in the gardens and organise the snack and blankets/pillows situation.

By the time two months had passed, and you moved to the plaza (people like Dedede, Escargoon or Meta Knight may be in the crowd, but disguised or hidden, trying not to be suspicious they are).

However, you'll always be surrounded by a pile of happy Waddle Dee's, with any lucky one sleeping in your arms. It's safe to say that they absolutely adore you.

Ok first of all, I want to let you know that I'm aware that you can't catch a cold for not wearing a coat or being cold, it's just series/games/fanfic logic. I just feel the need to clarify this..

How waddle dees day celebration that I think is today I bring you

To the family but in waddle dees

I am also part of a series of drawings of that family but with each species that is integrated

I don't know if I use this concept more but here are some ideas

°Bandana Dee A Being who saw the De who became king as a true one, thinking that he would be a good leader for them followed him and shortly after he saw what he was really like, even so he continued with him and was the one who most he did the work of a king in secret to help his people

°Sailor Dee A Dee who has a taste for adventures and seeing that there was a knight in the kingdom followed him to see what his life was like, quite disappointed to see that it was just a hobby and forcing that gentleman, come in if he didn't want the whole world to know about the deception

°The king Dedede It is a Dee that he thought it would be a good idea to become a king only thinking about food and that he can sleep all the time, after a few years he began to do more work like a true king

°Meta knight A Dee who has a strange interest in combat and fighting yet only sees it as a hobby more than anything, secretly in love with King Dedede pretending to pass for a true Knight to be by his side and not arouse suspicion

°Kirby A shy but still kind and good-hearted Dee who gets into trouble to help others, with a hat that helps her sleep and at the same time being a pocket with the ability to carry various things that can be used in adventures

°Gooey A small Dee who usually gets sick very often, that's why she always wears her scarf and doesn't usually talk much, good for being able to get lost in all places and even more so in the dark

Kirby: and the Secret of the Kabii

Apparently I never posted this

Chapter 2: The Ghostly Warrior, Revek

World 2: Planet Monia

The trip went by much faster then expected and the crew found themselves in the atmosphere of the neighbouring planet, Planet Monia. Meta Knight was able to land the ship in a small clearing by some water that looked very murky. The small crew quickly departed from the ship and Chorus very quickly picked up the magic presence of the next piece of the Equinox Key.

The small crew all began to make their way through the Jaunty Jungle (Level 2,1) and found themselves in a small abandoned village. Dedede wanted to break in and loot some of the houses but the group found out that the doors are too small and more spherical, Kirby and Meta Knight both fit perfectly and Chorus explained that the village may have been an old Kabii settlement.

As the gang explored Dedede screeched after seeing what he claimed to be a ghost. Now on edge everyone got in a circle with their backs together and were searching the surroundings, Kirby was the first to spot it. King Dedede seemed to be right for once, a ghost with piercing and furious red eyes was right there watching them, it was hard to see their full body but they appeared to be the same height as Meta Knight. Both King Dedede and Chorus fled while Kirby, Meta Knight and Bandanna (although very nervous) all stood ready to fight. The creature charged into the Center of the battle field resulting in a fierce fight that ended with the victory for the gang. Now, in the light they can see that the creature was also a Kabii with solid white skin, red horns and black armor. Before they can stop him he quickly jumped away into the trees.

Chorus pointed out that it the key was located in the same direction the Kabii fled and the group continued in the direction through the Rigid Ruins (Level 2,2).

Once they got to the other side they encountered another house, although more recently made and still occupied. Kirby walked right up but before he could knock on the door something quickly sled in between him and the door pushing him back to the rest of the party. It was the ghost Kabii again although he was clearly injured from their last encounter he was still set on guarding whatever was in the house. He warned them that should they stepped forward he will attack them again and win, Dedede mocked him due to his defeat last time stating that he can’t beat them. In response he unfurled large hidden wings from a cape that looked much like Meta Knights, his right wing was white and feathered much like an Angel and the left was scaley and black much like a demonbeast. This intimidated the party and both Chorus and Meta Knight were shocked.

Before another fight could take place the door to the house opened that revealed another Kabii that looked much like Kirby but was orange and had a long tail. The white Kabii looked fearful at this and started frantically moving his arms in strange movements to the baby Kabii. Meta Knight called out to him and explained that they’re not here to hurt them but are instead looking for an artifact. After more conversation the white Kabii allowed them to approach. He introduced himself as Revek and the baby as Pipistrello or just Pip for short and explained that Pip can not hear anything and he was communicating with the baby through sign language.

After Chorus explained the artifact Revek finally understood why there here but he did not want the group to take it as the magic was giving the planet life that was sustaining the two Kabii living there. In response Meta Knight invited the two to come to Popstar with them as the planet was safe and abundant with life, it would be a much better place to live then the solitary planet they were. After much convincing Revek agreed and both him and Pip who had already became both friends with Kirby would guide them to the Key piece.

After they traversed through the Cluttered Catacombs (Level 2,3) they found themselves in a large temple and on an alter the second key piece was located. King Dedede being ever so rash ran forward to snag it but after passing some invisible barrier the entire party found themselves being trapped in the sort of forcefield with the Key piece right outside of the far side of the room. In front of Dedede a true ghost appeared and introduced themselves selves as Neon Aki, one of three guardians of the Equinox key and one of four of the Aeon Hero’s from long ago, he states that since they have found the key piece they will have to beat him to take it. After battle Kirby was able to defeat them and upon their defeat the forcefield was gone they could see the key piece but also behind the key piece they see in the wall a prison much like the ones Tontu and Chorus were end but in this one was Neon Aki. He was surprising wide awake and states that Kirby was worthy to take the key piece. Dedede asks why he is in the magical barrier and Chorus tells him that she might be able to get help to free him but he stops this. He explains that he can’t leave for he is dead and this prison was tomb, it allowed him to guard the piece after death and now he was stuck here until the one who put them there freed him. He refused to answer anymore questions and simply told them to take the key and continue on their journey.

Once they all return to the ship Revek tells them that they have their own and will meet them in Popstar after they’ve gathered their belongings.

With that the crew returns to Popstar to tell the rest the good news. Once they got there they quickly met up and explained their adventures, soon Tontu came out to join them and Kirby gave him the Key piece. Once he holds both of them they joined together showing that half of the key has been assembled. They informed everyone that two more Kabii were coming to live on dreamland so the Waddle Dees started preparing a house. They decided that they will spend the night on Popstar and go back out in the morning.

Once they had settled down Tiff and Meta Knight started to share information. Tiff explained that Tontu mostly slept and just stared at the key piece as though he was obsessed with it, he wouldn’t ever let go of it either. She also said that although he seemed to have recovered more he still needs more rest to recover his magic fully and asked if she can go on the next adventure with them since there was space on the ship with Tontu’s absence. Meta Knight agreed and they both went to sleep to prepare for their adventure tomorrow.

Kirby and the Purple Butterfly Chapter 3

It had now been a month since Rifty had arrived in Dream Land, and he had already become quite acquainted with all the people who lived there. Everyday, Kirby and Rifty would love to take walks throughout the Waddle Dee Village together, and people would always give them the best of greetings. However, the people of Dream Land were quite fascinated by Rifty, everyone had wanted to learn just a little more about him. Rifty was very overwhelmed by the constant flow of questions they received from Waddle Dees, Waddle Doos, Noddies, and others alike, but Kirby would always be there to help Rifty out when he needed it.

On one sparkly night, it was foretold that a meteor shower was gonna happen near Pop Star, and that it could be seen from Dream Land! All of the lights in town were dimmed as the dreamlanders gathered together on the rooftops and observatories of the village, while Kirby and his friends got together on one of Castle Dedede’s towers, King Dedede even set up a telescope for Kirby, Bandana Waddle Dee, and Rifty to get a better look (with Meta Knight’s help, of course).

“Look at all those stars, Rifty!” Kirby proudly exclaimed. “Aren’t they just beautiful?”

“Wow, shiny…” Rifty was amazed, the stars had never been this clear and visible to him before.

“There’s even a few constellations visible too! Look!” Bandana Waddle Dee proclaimed, pointing out several of the star formations. “There’s the belt of Orion, the Gemini twins, and- oh! I think I can see Taurus from here!”

You couldn’t tell, but Meta Knight smiled from underneath his mask. “Rifty, have you ever heard of zodiac signs before?” he asked, to which Rifty shook their head in response. “Those are special constellations that align with where our planet is correlating with the sun. There are twelve of them, matching with certain times of the year. They say such signs can dictate what someone’s personality is depending on when they were born.” Meta Knight began to explain the hidden meanings behind the stars in the sky, to which Rifty was very fascinated. There was so much about the world he wanted to learn about, so much he had wanted to see. 

However, Meta Knight’s lesson would abruptly end thanks to Dedede noticing something.

“I think it’s starting!” he shouted, as tiny stars began to streak the dark skies of Dream Land. The rest of the group quickly gathered around the telescope, taking turns to see the meteor shower up close. It started off small at first, but more and more stars slowly became more visible. Kirby, Rifty, and Bandana Waddle were practically fighting over who got to use the telescope, though the two eventually decided that Rifty would be the one to use it first.

“They look so pretty!” Rifty happily exclaimed. However, they wouldn’t have much time to look at the stars before something strange happened.

All of a sudden, in a burst of light, millions of tiny little stars began shooting across Dream Land from a singular spot in the sky, the slight shockwave it caused knocking Rifty over.

Kirby panicked a little. “Oh no! Are you okay, Rifty?”

“I’m fine! Just got a little startled!”

Meta Knight looked up into the sky with confusion. “That…isn‘t normal.” 

“You think? I’m pretty sure the sky doesn’t just burst into stars like that!” Dedede shouted.

The knight began to ponder the current situation. “It doesn’t seem to be causing much harm, however. It’s not like any of the stars are crashing into the town. But what possibly could have caused this?”

“Maybe the stars were just behind schedule?”

“Stars can’t be behind schedule! They’re always right on time!”

Both Bandana Waddle Dee and Kirby quickly started debating stars with each other, forgetting all about the meteor shower.

“Nay, this is certainly no normal meteor shower, this is something else, but I can’t quite tell what.”

“Well, whatever it is, it’s still pretty, right?” Kirby asked, but Meta Knight did not respond.

A couple of days after the mysterious meteor shower, Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee offered to take Rifty to the downtown market to go shopping. There were many things being sold there from many different small shops. Kirby was happily running towards the food court, while Rifty and Bandana Dee followed after him. Their chase would abruptly stop, however, when something caught the attention of almost everyone in town that day! 

“Greetings, people of Dream Land!”

A voice could be heard coming from one of the roofs of the shops. It was another knight like Meta Knight! He managed to grab the attention of everyone very quickly.

“Tis I! Sir Quantum Knight! Distant Traveler on a quest for knowledge! I have come from a far off land to make my mark here after hearing word of your beloved planet, for I wish to learn more about it and its culture, as well as defending it from the clutches of evil!”

Everyone was very confused by the knight’s last remark. There hadn’t been any danger in Dream Land for quite some time now. Even Kirby was confused by this, being the danger magnet he was. They all looked at the knight with puzzled expressions.

“…wait, what dost thou mean that there is no evil that lurketh here?”

The villagers affirmed the knight’s query by shaking their heads.

“Uhh, very well then! You shall resume your duties then, as I shall continue to make my observations!”

The knight, rather embarrassed, disappeared as quickly as he arrived. Both Kirby and Bandana Dee were very puzzled by this. They have never heard of a knight such as this before!

“Who was that?”

“I’m not sure, I’ve never heard of a Quantum Knight before.”

“Didn’t they kind of remind you of someone?”

“Who?”

“They kind of looked like Galacta Knight. You know them, right? That knight Meta Knight said he met at some point?”

“Oh yeah! He was very strong, but not as strong as Sir Meta Knight!”

While Kirby and Bandana were discussing the new knight, Rifty was left in their own confusion. The knight had stood out to them, for they looked quite similar to Rifty themselves.

“Rifty, what did you think about the knight?”

“Me? Well, I don’t know who he is, but he looked kind of familiar.”

“Really? Did he remind you of anyone?”

“Not really, but I did think his armor was pretty cool! It had pretty butterflies!”

Bandana Dee then chimed in. “What did you think he was doing here?”

“Well, he did say it himself, he is just here to observe.”

“It sounds pretty suspicious, doesn’t it?”

“Well, not really,” Kirby added. “I mean, exploring planets can be a pretty fun thing to do!”

Even after their conversation, their ideas of the knight still circled around in their heads.

Word of the knight began to rapidly spread across all of Pop Star, even King Dedede and Meta Knight began to become curious about the matter.

“Didja hear about that new knight in town?” Dedede asked while looking out a window from the castle.

Meta Knight turned to look at him from his seat while he was reading a newspaper article about this mysterious new knight. “How could I not? Word of him has spread across the land like a great fire, it is quite bizarre, I must say.”

“What do you think his deal is? The only other knight around here is you, do we really need another one?”

“I know not of his intentions, but I must get to the bottom of this. Something tells me there is more to this ‘Quantum Knight’ than he is willing to admit.”

Before the two could continue, Sword Knight, one of Meta Knight’s loyal knights, quickly burst through the castle doors. “Sir! You must come and see this!”

“What is the matter, Sword Knight?” Meta Knight said as he got out of his seat.

”It’s that new knight! He’s been spotted near the Halberd! Come!”

Sword Knight quickly rushed Meta Knight over to the Halberd’s Hangar in the castle, but there was no knight to be seen!

“S-Sir! I swear I saw him here!”

“There’s no need to apologize, Sword, for I know you are telling the truth. It looks like the knight must have fled once he realized he had been seen.”

While he was talking, Meta Knight had noticed a glint of something from the corner of his eye. He quickly turned around to see what it was, only to find a green butterfly fluttering around some flowers adorned around one of the castle windows.

‘Hmph, I must be seeing things…’ he thought to himself.

Over the course of a couple of weeks, Meta Knight would continually be alerted to sightings of the Quantum Knight, only to arrive with no one present at the scene. No one except for that green butterfly he had seen before. Meta Knight quickly informed his men of the situation as soon as he came to this conclusion.

“This green butterfly must be tied to this knight in some form. If you see it, be sure to keep an eye on it, for it may lead us to finding them.”

“Understood, sir!”

While Meta Knight made his investigation across Dream Land, Quantum Knight continued to travel across the planet, documenting its many interesting locations. However, this knight was not on just a quest to document the planet, he had arrived for a different purpose: Rifty. The knight would always appear wherever Rifty had gone, many of his traces being in areas Rifty had visited, almost going entirely undetected by anyone on Pop Star. Anyone except Rifty themselves! He started catching on to them once Meta Knight had told them about the butterfly sightings, always looking around for them, as if they were gonna catch it! It would take quite some time, however, for the two to finally meet each other in person.

“Just who is that knight? And why does he seem so familiar?” Rifty says to themselves.

Kirby AU talk: "Friendship Really Does Shine Like A Star!"

This AU heavily rewrites the story of Star Allies, rewrites a small part of the story of Forgotten Land, and does a few more extra things. All the other games that take place before Star Allies and Forgotten Land stay the same.

Four big things happen here:

-The villain group in Star Allies is much more threatening in this AU.

-An extra wave of dream friends accompanies Kirby and co.

-All the dream friends show up in Forgotten Land in post-game.

-Some extra masks are added to Merry Magoland.

Now, let's go into all of this in detail.

Before this AU's Star Allies events begin, there's a prologue of Hyness attempting to use up all the dark energy the cult currently has to power up the Jamba heart in hopes of summoning Void Termina.

However... there's a problem. There's not enough dark energy to activate the Jamba heart. Void Termina cannot be summoned yet.

It's only about 60% complete. The cult needs to expand on its believers to radiate more dark energy to be capable of fully activating the Jamba heart. The cult is going to need to invade planets for this.

And so Hyness orders his three generals, The Three Mage Sisters, to take their armies and invade planets to force people to join the cult against their will. Each Mage Sister has her own respective army of Jammerjabs, and so there are three Jambastion armies out to force expansion for the cult. Hyness will stay at the Divine Terminus to keep watch, as this is the very area where he'll summon Void Termina.

The Mage Sisters start invading a handful of planets with their armies. They relentlessly coerce people in the cult by overpowering them and then throwing corrupted dark hearts at them (like how Kirby throws friend hearts). When someone is joined into the cult by being influenced by a dark heart, it radiates dark energy that the cult will then use to power up the Jamba heart to summon Void Termina.

After invading a planet, the Mage Sisters are then free to run rampant around it, causing random chaos and killing people with their weapons. The planets they invade become stomping grounds.

Planet Earthfall, Planet Misteen, Planet Caverna, Planet Frostak, Planet Towara and Star Lavadom all get conquered by the cult. Not just that, but their respective smaller-sized stars get conquered too.

There still isn't enough dark energy radiated from all those conquests, however. The cult will still need to invade more planets.

After the cult conquers all those planets, Popstar is the next planet that the cult has their eyes on. And it's a much bigger planet than all the previous planets that were conquered, so the cult deduces that it may be able to finally summon Void Termina if it conquers Popstar.

All three of the Mage Sisters come into Popstar with their respective armies in an attempt to dominate the peculiarly star-shaped planet.

This is, of course, when Kirby and all the dream friends get involved. This is when the group eventually bands together to stop the cult.

King Dedede and Meta Knight get captured and are fed dark hearts. Kirby will have to fight them to knock the dark influence out of them.

While Kirby saves Popstar from the cult's domination, the dream friends gradually tag alongside him as they're all trying to fight back as well. They all agree that joining up with Kirby will increase the odds of victory and to finally put the cult in their place. Bandana Waddle Dee is the first one to join Kirby, as they meet up shortly after the grand adventure begins. All of the others then show up at later points.

All the dream friends in the canon Star Allies show up. This, indeed, means the wave 1, wave 2 and wave 3 groups as we know them.

Rick, Kine, Coo, Gooey and Marx show up to join the team early on. Adeleine, Ribbon, Daroach and Dark Meta Knight show up to join the team sometime after Dedede gets saved. Magolor, Taranza and Susie show up to join the team sometime after Meta Knight gets saved.

But the troubles in Popstar aren't over after Meta Knight gets saved. The cult still has strongholds on some places on the planet. The group still has to eliminate those strongholds and chase the Mage Sisters and their armies out of Popstar. And after they get chased out of the planet, three more people then show up to join the star allies.

Yes, that's right. Three more dream friends. An entire new wave of dream friends joins the group. That means even more help! Hooray!

Here are the three extra dream friends that join the group:

Gryll swoops by to join the star allies. This silly onion witch lady was once an adversary to Kirby, but they've made up a long time after. She's a buddy now! She's got many magical powers that she can use to fight the cult with, such as spawning star blocks out of her hands that she can throw in rapid succession, and many other various magic that her broom is able to perform. Gryll seems to enjoy chaos, so she might go a little bit nuts when fighting alongside the others. Gryll also appears to have history with Marx, as they were happy to see each other when she came to join the team shortly before they depart from Planet Popstar.

Drawcia shows up?!? What a surprise!!! She didn't even make up with Kirby before this, but it's still very much appreciated that she seemingly wants to help with the rest! Able to use all the attacks that she did when she fought Kirby a long time ago before this, Drawcia will be sure to make a great asset to the star allies. That being said, though, while Drawcia appears to have softened up a little bit compared to before, she's still incredibly morally grey. She can be considered another 'evil token' star ally, similarly to Dark Meta Knight.

Prince Fluff was hoping for the day he'd assist Kirby in another adventure. He's proud to have finally gotten that chance now! He's a bit of a prideful one. Although Fluff isn't only joining just to feed his ego by adventuring with Kirby again, he's also joining because his home of Patch Land was being threatened by the cult. He found a way to lock up the sock that serves as the gateway to his home to prevent the cult from going there, and then he's ready to join. Fluff can use all the attacks that he used during his adventure with Kirby.

After these three join the team, and after the team leaves Popstar, they go to the Jambastion fortress when they saw the Mage Sisters flee there. They hunt the Mage Sisters down and beat them up again.

But the Mage Sisters still don't give up. They inform that they're still fully intent on getting the dark energy needed to summon their god, and that they've already made a lot of progress in doing so with the handful of planets they've already conquered before this. The time on the Jambastion fortress ends with Zan Partizanne maniacally laughing as she destroys the fortress, forcing the star allies to leave the area and to go save all the planets that the cult has dominated.

The star allies go to each of the corrupted planets one-by-one. They save the planets in mostly the same order as canon, except that Star Lavadom gets visited before Planet Towara. Planet Towara is the last of the conquered planets that the star allies rescues from the cult.

After the star allies free denizens of Planet Towara from the cult's influence, something terrible happens. The Mage Sisters appear to have planned a surprise attack, as they then ambush the star allies, catch them off guard, and they literally kidnap Kirby in the process.

Yes, you heard that right. The Mage Sisters kidnap Kirby. They then fly off, maniacally laughing as they carry the pink puffball with them back to the Jambandran base. This enrages all the other star allies, as they unite closer together with the collective goal to save Kirby.

Although Kirby already gets taken to Hyness before the star allies can get to him. The cult threw a bunch of dark hearts at Kirby, as he was refusing to let himself join the cult, but it still radiated dark energy.

When the star allies show up at the Divine Terminus, they beat up the Mage Sisters and Hyness, and then free Kirby. But after he's freed, Hyness then throws the Mage Sisters and himself onto the Jamba heart in a desperate attempt to power it up, and luckily for them, it just suddenly has enough power to finally summon Void Termina.

The star allies destroy Void Termina. Hyness and the Mage Sisters then end up finding themselves into Another Dimension, which kickstarts events that are very similar to that of the events of HiAD.

HiAD plays out mostly the same in this AU as it does in regular canon, but a difference in the ending. When Kirby throws friend hearts at the four cultists... it appears that there's something wrong.

Francisca, Flamberge and Hyness appear to come out perfectly fine, but Zan Partizanne appears to be seriously injured. She's still alive, but she clearly needs treatment or else she'll eventually die. Hyness and the other two Mage Sisters freak out over this. They profusely apologize to the star allies, and thankfully Kirby forgives them and is willing to help them out in saving Zan's life. Eventually, the cult goes back to their home in Jambandran base just in time while Zan is still alive, and they're able to get the necessary treatment for her to live.

Zan Partizanne survives a close brink of death. And she's then super grateful to the rest of the star allies for helping out in saving her.

Hyness and the Mage Sisters are then onto the star allies' good side.

They, as well as the rest of the star allies, regularly keep in touch with Kirby. This includes Dark Meta Knight and Drawcia, who didn't make up with Kirby before this adventure, but they then became friends with him during it. Kirby grew on everyone in the team afterwards.

All the star allies show up in Forgotten Land after Fecto Elfilis gets defeated. Most of Forgotten Land's events mainly stay the same as in canon, as the main adventure before the Fecto Elfilis fight is not changed. However, after Elfilis is defeated, and when Kirby and Elfilin have to save Leongar, that's when all the star allies show up in Waddle Dee Town, intending to help clean up the mess that occurred.

They all got there through Magolor's ship. The Lor Starcutter was able to locate the place of the Forgotten Land during the events of the main story, and so he gathered up all the other star allies. The Lor traveled through dimensions to get to the Forgotten Land. As they came there and helped clean up the place, they met Clawroline and the others of the Beast Pack. They'd then met Elfilin and Leongar after the latter finally gets saved. Kirby would've needed to help clean up the Forgotten Land otherwise, but it turns out that he doesn't need to. All the other star allies showed up to do exactly just that!

A portal gets set up for people to travel between Popstar and the Forgotten Land literally anytime. This is a gift from the Beast Pack.

When Magolor opens up his amusement park of Merry Magoland some time after, four more masks get added that aren't present in the actual Magoland in RTDL Deluxe. All the 86 masks that show up in the game are still present in this AU's Magoland, but 4 get added.

These four masks are based on Gryll, Prince Fluff, Gorimondo and Sillydillo. Not gonna lie, I'm not sure why they didn't have masks for the latter two when they have masks for the other two in the Beast Pack. And of course, Gryll and Prince Fluff could use Magoland masks since they're in the star allies in this AU.

Now there are 90 masks for Merry Magoland instead of 86.

That's basically it for the major events of this AU. Other than Gryll, Drawcia and Prince Fluff getting accustomed with the rest of the star allies and how those three interact with the others, but that's for another day. I may or may not make a separate post going over that!

With moments like all the star allies showing up to save Kirby after he's kidnapped by the Mage Sisters, and all the star allies showing up at the Forgotten Land through Magolor's ship to clean up the place, the name title given to this AU very much becomes a true statement.

Friendship really does shine like a star!

If anyone decides to come to my inbox and ask something about one of these four AUs, I'd be hugely appreciative! I won't encourage it necessarily, but I'd love to hear people's feedback on any of these.

Magolor relationships with the rest of the Kirby cast, will probably be updated later.

Kirby: Kirby saved him for his darkest moment, so of course the two are friends, and remade their friendship, the quickest out of the return of the dreamland group, making them good friends, they love to hug him, and is always happy to have Kirby around.

Dedede: dedede forgave him the second quickest out of Kirby after seeing how much he cared, magolor finds dedede rather interesting, due to his strange abilities gained through dark matter possession, with the two bonding over their dark matter possessions, and likes to learn how to be a true king form the chubby penguin.

Meta Knight: took the longest to reform their friendship, happening after star allies, magolor finds meta knight very cool and strong, and originally thought meta knight was the aeon hero, before seeing galacta knight himself during his dream kingdom adventure, the two bond mainly over their ships.

Bandana Dee: took the 2nd longest to forgive them, he trusted him but magolor betraying his trust, hit him very hard, which means magolor had to earn his trust, which was luckily easier than meta knight, as the two managed to befriend each other during star Allies when magolor saved bandana Dee, they aren’t as close as the others of the main team though.

Kracko: a hate hate relationship, Kracko doesn’t like magolor, because of his friendship with Kirby, which kracko doesn’t like anyone, how is friends with Kirby, and magolor likes to prank Kracko, and insult him, for his long standing grudge with Kirby, and will protect Kirby form the hateful cloud.

Animal Friends: depends on which one you are talking about, loves to play with pitch, jokes around with Rick and nago, is decent with chu chu, loves to mess with coo, and kine is friendly.

Gooey: didn’t like gooey all that much at 1st, due to their experience with dark matter leading to them having a bad vibe with gooey, but soon the two become good friends, with magolor loving to play with the little friendly dark matter.

Marx: the two best friends, meeting sometime after Kirby superstar, becoming fast friends, they love to prank people, and it’s thanks to Marx that magolor got his betrayal idea to get the master crown, though magolor is known to show restraint, and often has to apologize for what marx does, or reel him in.

Adeleine: often makes ridiculous art requests for Adeline for the jokes, but does love her art, a lot, and wishes he could draw as good as she does,

Ribbon: the small fairy and him are friends, cause magolor is good friends with Adeline, Kirby, dedede, and bandana Dee, but they are definitely not that close compared to the other relationships mentioned, and are more so just acquaintances.

Dark Meta Knight: dislikes due to taranza’s hatred of dark meta knight for corrupting sectonia, dark meta doesn’t like them back, and thinks he is rather weak and pathetic, this of course leads to problems.

Shadow Kirby: a better relationship then with dark meta knight, kinda likes that they talk more, and is also friendly, unlike the other mirror counterparts, but they know it isn’t the real Kirby.

Daroach: the two like to steal form each other a lot, it’s basically a game of sorts, also can bond over their experiences of being possessed by dark matter, love of magical artifacts, kelptomancy, and other things, also got daroach’s permission for the masks, and having the squeaks help out with smash ride.

The squeaks: they are friends with magolor, and help with smash ride, doc and him talk about machinery, storo is friendly, and great to talk too, spinni is a friendly rival for him, and the squeakers are just so adorable.

Galacta Knight: has read about them in books, as one of the heroes of yore, how got sealed away, as the Aeon hero, but magolor got to see galacta knight in person for the 1st time in the dream kingdom, and is impressed by his powers and abilities, having not stalled.

Taranza: another good friend, he helped with his rehabilitation, loves his dramatic side, and helps boosts his ego, he does know what it is like to lose someone you love, and as such, will protect him form dark meta knight, but they two do love their pranks, and like talking about magic.

Shadow Dedede: feels total pity for them, due to everything they went through, being possessed by dark mind to become king d-mind, having to deal with dark meta knight, and also being blind to, they wish they could help them.

Susie: one of their closest friends, the two bond over their shared pain of being in another dimension, and their love of capitalism, and machines, they love to make new crazy ideas together, defend Francisca’s ice sculpture collection, and Susie helped them create merry magoland.

Parallel Susie: depends on which one, we are talking about, the regular parallel Susie they are fine with, was good to talk to in the dream kingdom, and acts similar to Susie, but president parallel Susie, they don’t like that much at all.

Hyness: his father figure, was healthy, and he cares about him very much, loved learning about the ancients, but once hyness starting going off the deep end, he left, and didn’t realize that just made hyness worse, is trying to improve relations with him now that hyness is back to normal.

Francisca: magolor remembers Francisca the least out of their adoptive siblings, as the two weren’t close, and was surprised when they reunited, and Francisca revealed she had made a frozen enemy ice sculpture collection, however, magolor finds it cool and creepy at the same time, and will defend that she will keep it.

Flamberge: their favorite of the mage sisters, flamberge and magolor were as close as actual siblings and were best friends as well, unfortunately the two lost contact after magolor crashed on halcandra, but they are still as close as ever, once hyness is saved.

Zan Partizanne: their relationship was always strained, as the two oldest siblings, with magolor becoming a favored child of hyness after he was adopted, zan developed a bit of grudge with him, which got worse once he left, it is better now, but they still aren’t as close as magolor with the other mage sisters

Morpho Knight: magolor isn’t really sure what Morpho knight even is, they look like Kirby, meta knight, and galacta knight, but they are a butterfly and absorbs souls, is pretty sure they saw Morpho knight when they went into another dimension, and is both confused and a bit scared of them.

Elfilin: magolor finds him very cute, and adorable, wishes to show no harm to elfilin, but their relationship was on the slow path, due to elfilin being cautious around magolor, which he understands, but soon the two become at least good friends.

The beast pack: haven’t known them for very long, so magolor doesn’t have a real good opinion on them, aside from leongar and clawroline, he finds them great leaders, and wishes to learn form them, despite being unable to understand them.

ive been having tons of fun developing Parallel Popstar's Void Corruption lately so heres a lil something i made recently for that: the Void Golem! it's a parasitic Void Beast called a Void Hijacker, and they are about the size of a regular Puffball. one of them took control of a huge statue of the previous queen, Axis.

related side note but the "Parallel" bosses from Kirby Star Allies also exist in my au:

Parallel Woods is the Void Arbor, a titanic tree that is capable of controlling the bizarre plant life of the Void.

Parallel Kracko is the Void Storm, a gargantuan and unpredictable weather system that causes havoc for those who linger uninvited in the Void for too long.

Parallel Meta Knight is the Void Blade, a small but incredibly powerful and ruthless swordfighter that can conjure up terrifyingly dangerous blizzards.

Parallel Dedede is the Void King, but despite that title it offers more of a support role, powering up Void Beasts around itself and occasionally crushing those near it with its huge hammer.

all of these ultimately serve Parallel Null, an entity so thoroughly corrupted by the Void that nothing of its old self remains. despite its extremely violent and animalistic disposition, its "Four Horsemen" (as called by the deities) protect it fiercely.

one more thing while im kind of on the topic: succumbing to the Void Corruption is an extremely slow and painful process. as for what exactly happens, i dont have any idea yet, but i do know that those suffering from it eventually become hyper-aggressive towards everyone. the worst part is that in its early stages it is VERY ADDICTIVE, similar to smoking.

Shadow Dedede (i think i got the name right)- CURRENTLY DONT HAVE ANYTHING FOR SHADOW DEDEDE!

Dark Taranza (i think i got the name right)- more cocky verson of Taranza, very tricky to deal with.

Red Kirby- calm, harsh, red puffball, protective over Blue Kirby

Blue Kirby- calm, gentle one out of the other kirbys

Green Kirby- scientist, goofy, and slightly crazy.

Yellow Kirby- crazy, goofy, yellow ball.

Prince Fluff- a organized Prince.

Kato (KIRBY OC)- a mage who can mix elements together, tall, fluffy, clawed-pawed hands.

Facts about Guardian of Popstar Mr. Puzzles (cuz am bored)

Guardian of Popstar Puzzles was sent to popstar in a plead of "please gimme redemption" "i can change" "pls, second chance.." after he presented to the SMG4 crew very damaged after a STRONG discussion with "the entity" (like he wants call it) the one who gived him his powers

SMG4 gaved him the second chance...but with a trick, he fooled Puzzles to "be a guardian" just to get rid of him, sending him to Popstar

GOP!Puzzles doesn't have any powers, neither his own powers or a meme guardian power, he is powerless, but as on the Mushroom Kingdom, GOP!Puzzles can touch the copy habilities in form of thropies to adquire that hability

GOP!Puzzles tail can call the wrap star, and fly on it along side Kirby, that's a useful move for Kirby in battles, so even if he can't do much, Kirby brings him always into fights in case they need a quick scape

the guardian role was just an father figure to Kirby, he returned to mushroom kingdom to cause havoc for fun, so SMG4 with his meme powers healed Kirby from his crazy aptitude from the meme influence and sent Puzzles there-

GOP!Puzzles is classy, formal he always want be very well presented

GOP!Puzzles prefers remain serious, calm and a bit distant (only with new people) in front of his small crew (Meta Knight, Kirby, Magolor and the new member) as the leader of the crew he need not be seen with any defects-

he hates King Dedede but have some appreciation for all the Waddle Dees and Waddle Doos (even if sometimes he end yeeting them-) specially for Bandana Dee

he loves classic music, it helps him to calm his nerves and to relax

he lives in King Dedede's castle (like SMG4 lived in Peach's castle), even if he hates him, is simple, he stays on his room all day if he wants be home...but most of the time he is outside with Kirby or anyone else

since he lives in an all almost cute and full of friendship planet, he grow weak of Kirby's Puppy eyes when he denies or ground Kirby for anything, it always work...

Found a name, he shall be called MC, and whenever he writes it down he puts MMC (Yes there is a reason outside of it's funny)

Uh anyways, for info about this dude, his whole concept was "Okay so what if there was a traveler Magolor, like the one I already made, but evil, and will actually give Traveler a purpose to exist" so yeah-

He is a product of still having the Master Crown be apart of him despite Kirby "freeing" him (Aka kinda in the middle of cannon and True Arena ig)

His main goal is to entertain himself mainly, and a secondary goal being becoming the ruler of every world. Which ends up causing him to be incredibly manipulative and cold.

With his appearance, he realized that he is able to use it to manipulate most of the difference Magolor's as well as some others (Marx, Taranza, Susie, etc) into doing what he wants. Which can lead to some not great things to happen

However when it comes to the traveler's of the Magoverse, as well as the creators and audience, his goal is instead to make them hate him as much as possible because he finds it funny. Which includes, making them uncomfortable, finding ways to offend them, etc. They are very much a Manipulative and an overall piece of crap. But also weirdly mischievous.

Now for facts

- He uses any pronouns and is unlabeled

- He quite literally cannot feel love and despair

- It is unknown if it is the Master Crown, Magolor, or both

- He will actively insult the travelers of the Magoverse because it's funny

- He can make himself look more humanoid, however it is to less of an extent as Traveler (Traveler Magolor info here)

- He hates Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandee, mainly because a small part of him does hate what he became.

- Any 'good' character that is around him will...notice something that will instantly make them not trust him. Basically, it could be a good master crown character or a Magolor that has a part of the master crown apart of him. Yeah they might just...hear something that is rather disturbing. They will know something others don't.

MetaDede Week 2023: Day 2, First Meeting

“Long before he was king, Dedede lived in a small Waddle Dee village close to the Rainbow Resort. It was a simple life, safe and mundane, yet uninteresting. That is, until one fateful sunset evening. Just as the rest of the village was preparing for their nighttime routine, Dedede spotted a spark in the sky. The spark quickly turned into a brilliant shooting star that careened down towards the forest at the village’s edge. Swallowing his fear to satiate his curiosity, Dedede took hold of one of the stone hammers the village architects had left unsupervised, and crept towards the crash site. Just as he neared the first line of trees, a figure - that Dedede immediately clocked as the origin of the shooting star - stumbled through the undergrowth. It was a boy his age with most of his face covered by a dark hood, who, upon realizing he wasn’t alone, lifted his very real sword and pointed it at his assumed attacker. His hair was full of stars, and his eyes seemed to contain galaxies.”

“It took Dedede some time to convince the stranger that he wasn’t a threat. Once he succeeded, the other lowered his weapon and apologized for the scare, explaining it was his duty to protect those who couldn’t protect themselves, not to harm them.
