pacing around in circles muttering to myself about daniel and louis and the years between the first interview and now...... daniel telling armand "he didn't even want me in the end" after offering to get on his knees for him instead... they didn't fuck but for decades "i really thought we did" / "do you want to now?"... daniel is old and dying in a penthouse full of impossibly young beautiful immortal beings and louis still laughingly offers something that daniel thought for years he'd gotten already. and then it turns out that not only he didn't, but something in him had assumed they did have sex and never explored that further and he's gone through this entire second interview so far under that assumption because that bridge has been crossed already. except it hadn't and when louis says "do you want to now" you can see the change in his expression like for the briefest of moments he really is considering it

im soo bored because my fucking discord account is gone so im dojng a huge analysis on candybatz.

lets start with kevin.

my biggest pet peeve is when people solely make kevin grumpy and always irritated and violent and a kid hater. its so dumb. like , i dont mean to shit on peoples aus or interpretations, but when theres a consistent flow of people thinking that kevin is literally just a grumpy asshole, it gets SUPER frustrating.

literally thinking of the person who said ""characters shouldn't be black and white!!" you guys cant even handle spooky month characters"

its so real man. anyway back to the main topic. we get a good view of who kevin is as a guy in the 5 episodes hes in. i could give a good list of his traits. hes selfless, a quick thinker, protective, and kind. i could give examples. he puts other people first even if they have wronged him or put him in danger (skid n pump in episode 5). he uses his surroundings to protect other people and himself (ep 4 and 5). he gives free candy to skid and pump (who probably havent even paid for years, not to mention the time where he notices theyre visibly upset and he cheers them up with giving them free candy). like he doesnt need to do all of this but he does. hes nice. hes a sweet guy. hes really frustrated and stressed with his job but all he really wants to do is help people. when hes not losing his shit because of the nth disaster, he just really wants to assist people. and thats such a noticeable part in his character. i remember someone saying that the "and why is an old dude hanging around with kids? kinda weird.." can easily be read as him looking out for skid and pump. he just wants them to be safe.

because as much as he dislikes the trouble they bring, he KNOWS tneyre still kids. he doesnt outright scream at them or try to awfully punish them because he KNOWS theyre just little kids who dont know better. they arent adults with logical thinking skills, and kevin understands this. like fuck!!! as soon as he notices a threat, he stops scolding them to PROTECT THEM. kevin doesnt hate kids. he doesnt even hate skid and pump. he just hates how frustrating his job can get with the disasters that skid and pump seem to attract.

hes not an asshole, and people should stop fucking seeing him as that.

oh yeah. kevin also seems to be a very panicky guy. easily freaked out and probably really jumpy. again with the quick thinking. he says whatever to try and slip out of situations. he uses the things around him to fight off threats, even if those things dont work. he still tries, because he has that huge sense of wanting to help and protect. oouuuuh i love kevin i love him i love him i-

moving on because i think i covered most of kevs personality. so streber timeeee woooooo

we dont have a lot of coverage on this guy. we only get 1½ episodes, and a background appearance which doesnt give us, anything besides the fact hes alive. so, lets just work with what we got

in sm5, streber is shown to be an enthusiastic guy. really dedicated to putting on an act, and it gives us the idea that he really enjoys halloween, and most importantly, vampires. now, onto strebers rehearsal. we get more background personality ^_^! he seems to be almost sassy, and again!! dedication!! confi even says "he takes this so seriously". this forms streber even more. hes passionate and creative (and a bit nerdy :3), and from background details, we even get the idea that hes good at engineering and designing, having made the mirror himself. he aswell seems to love acting a lot, using the vampire accent an additional time in the short. another take away is that he loves kids :÷]. hes passionate about putting up a whole haunted house just for kids to experience the joy of halloween, and this is more headcanon based, but perhaps halloween means a lot to streber. perhaps it means a lot to the HH crew aswell. maybe streber is so passionate because he wants kids to feel the same spooky joy he felt when he was a kid, yknow? but thats not exactly confirmed, so thats all up to personal opinion. i imagine streber also has a good friendship with the crew. theres a bit of banter, and it gives me the vibes that theyve known eachother for a while ^_^.. but another thing i wanna mention is that people shouldnt characterize streber as some happy lucky go guy whos oblivious and stupid. hes, honestly pretty sassy. and its like, hes not really.. happy go lucky? hes passionate and creative and thoughtful and smart. yeah, hes sure enthusiastic, but happy go lucky? thats not streber.

idk. im mainly saying that only because of the huge explosion of candybatz being kinda fetishized due to the fact theyre a gay couple, and honestly, i kinda want to say streber got more of the worst of it. but thats not too fair, kev got bad treatment too.

anyway, i think thats all i gotta say about streber i guess. now, when it comes to candybatz? its hard to exactly tell how theyd act with eachother. all you can do is get their personalities and ponder if theyd mesh. really, my view is that theyd be an awesome fuckin couple. i project my personal want of a relationship onto them, so mainly its a lot of "they better eachother" and "they work together to make sure that they stay together". i think they communicate a lot and make eachother feel comfortable to exist and be themselves. theres no need to mask who they are as people, because theyre so in love with each other. they dont want or need to conceal themselves.

also. i have another pet peeve that im gonna say because i can and this post is already really long. i HATE when people call streber and kevin a sun x moon ship, because, 1. this kind of wrecks their personality and leans more into how the 2022 fandom portrayed them, and 2. "sun x moon" ships are SO fucking boring because people dont actually use traditional sun x moon things. when people usually say sun x moon, they mean day x night. @catsockpuppet did a really good analysis himself of the difference on a goldenlavender ask here. go check it out.

so in the last month ive been on holiday and then got sucked into inazuma eleven, since i was alresdy playing it ill give a short summary of what i thought (plus inaxuma eleven 2) and also the anime!!! (though shorter bc i watched it in a dub of a language i barely know) ill try and play all the inazuma eleven 3 games, i only watched the first season of inazuma eleven go tho.

inazuma eleven 1: it was great!!!! unfortunately ive been endeared to bobby shearers. also i thought the erik plotline went nowhere but i was supposed to get him before kirkwood.... the last battle i beat by mere happenstance, whoops!!! i lovedit tho. ALSO someone pls answer this: are zeus like.... genetically modified humans????? cuz it neverr gets answered, ray darks way of speaking was SO VAGUE. like is the research abt the boys or the steroids????

also nellys so cool i love her. the anime was super cool, but i was confused with its 127 eps since i only played the first game so i thought it mightve been like some anime only stuff??? turns out theres more than one inazuma eleven game.

i think the anime adapted the game pretty well, from what i could understand but i thought celia was way meaner abt jude in the game??? idk if its bc she has the “im gonna end ur life” face all the time in that game that made me think that though.... probably since shes like way more "innocent and cute" in the second game (todd ironside is so wrird i HATE HIMM in the first game)

great game, i called shawn shibuya since i didnt know his english name, or his Japanese one for that matter. the reason i chose shibuya was because i played twewy right before seeing him, and he looks like a shibuya.

UM so i think about an au where jotaro is the one to die in sdc instead of anyone else and i throw up from grief but anyway i then go on to think about how like future parts would get impacted by this and like i dont think i’ve seen much discussion of that so let me . yeah. 

um so i think it follows the theme of like the crusaders basically making it up to jotaro in retrospect. and like . cleaning it up for him not cause theyre blood but because they were family nonetheless. so like

diu is mostly the same but instead of jotaro there it’s kakyoin and joseph. kakyoin wildly switches from being super overbearing to kinda like mean and hostile to josuke and josuke does not get it until kakyoin one day admits he can’t look at him without seeing jotaro and josuke is like. well that sucks and all but i’m not jotaro. i’m josuke. do i not get the opportunity to exist to you just because of another joestar. and kakyoin is like hmm. and he gets better and treats josuke better and theyre good buddies by the end

um in part 5 like. avdol is there the whole time. iggy is the one who fucks around with gio like koichi did in the first ep tho just btw. but like avdol is there the whole time. he’s very blunt about the fact he’s here to watch gio and gio has very rustled feathers but avdol isn’t trying to stop him from anything and he did help with the black sabbath fight so whatever. at the halfway point we meet polnareff rather than waiting on the finale and it convinces everyone including fugo to betray the boss cause like the requiem arrow. while theyre on this week from hell btw pol andf avdol drop hints about his dad/jotaro’s death. when gio almost dies cause of the requiem arrow he’s engulfed by both pol and avdol and they both cry that they can’t lose another kid like that again and while gio could kinda piece some stuff together at that point, this kind of confirmation -- that even tho his dad is the one who took their previous charge from them, they still see him as a kid worth caring about to the extent they cared about jotaro -- makes him cry for the first time in uh his life. i guess. abbacchio doesnt die btw but bruno and nara might still. we’ll see.

anyway and then part six instead of jolyne caus ejotaro. is dead. is kakyoin infiltrating the prison pucci is working at and them just going nuts at each other. when it’s clear neither can get the upperhand in a fight they fall into a very uneasy game of just constantly circling each other. with this comes familiarity though and they were friends once back when kakyoin was fleshbuded. they begin to talk. kakyoin explains what happened to him and pucci is like ah. and kakyoin is like “so see dio is fucked up and he hurt you too” and pucci is like noooope not dealing with that. but he doesnt have the opportunity to kickstart the bone bullshit with kakyoin watching him like a hawk and he can’t deny that he has doubts. anyway with kakyoin still there pucci begins to fall in on himself more and more until he just breaks down crying cause he realizes that while dio was his friend he was his abuser first. kakyoin comforts him. together they burn the bone and forever end any hope of dio’s dream coming to fruition. and at last letting jotaro rest in peace. um yeah idk

Like she was presented to be this cool great character, but now it’s all about hades and Persephone end game and nothing else matters. I don’t even think Hades did anything to prove to Hecate he wasn’t a gross old man.

EP Review: Opferdolch - Grabgestank (1995)

back w another BSoD project bc i have an unhealthy obsession. tbh I wasnt rly expecting much when this showed up randomly on my Youtube recommended, but boyyyyy was i wrong. this is actual god level, ascension worthy, peak dungeon synth / black metal / dark ambient. and if he rly made it when he was only 14/15 thats INSANE to me.

the atmosphere is everything u should expect from the best BSoD works, its dark, dreamy, and has a more ethereal sound than his typical "black metal w synths" music. this is better than Heroin Makes Happy, this is on par w (or better than) Junk Jesus and Blod Besvimelse. This is music for communing with the universe, for projecting ur energy across the astral plane directly into the hearts of the sun and moon. this shit is INSANE.

this is some of BSoDs most melodic work, i especially love tracks 3 and 5 (they have long german titles im not typing the whole thing, theyre the standout tracks so u can see em at the bottom). This is like if a ghost could make music and the ghost was particularly talented at making ambient dungeon synth. THis actually feels like music from another dimension its fuckin WILD how good this is i cant even fully capture it in a review for the LOVE OF GOD LISTEN TO THIS FOR URSELF

and its not all synth, theres parts that have more punky/black metally grooves to em, uptempo parts, theres plenty of variation but its still damn consistent and it flows almost perfectly. the production is typical BSoD, u can hear tape hiss throughout the entire project, theres few low and high freqs, but this project is so minimalistic u can hear everything super well, so it doesnt even matter how shit the production is u can still appreciate every single melody. tho tbf i like normal shit tier BSoD production.

final opinion: it was good! the animation wasn't as lively or as rambunctious as i expected, considering how many goofy moments there are as seen in the manga, and it feels a bit rushed (also apparently they crammed 5 chapters in this episode??? idk twitter said so), but i still enjoyed the buildup of the match. though, i feel like there's been a steady drop in animation quality starting from ep 13 (am i saying that because they've been doing aoshi dirty? yes. yes very much.) BUTT!!! still a nice watch. solid 7.5/10 :3
