eddie swings open the van door, extending his arm out dramatically to let you out of the vehicle.

“and they say chivalry is dead..” you tease, hopping down onto your driveway and taking his hand.

you lead eddie to your front door, setting your milkshake down momentarily to fidget with the key in the lock. finally hearing the telltale click to let you know you’re in, you push the door open and flick on the lights.

“wanna go up to your room, sweetheart?” eddie asks and you nod, your heart fluttering in your chest, butterflies filling your stomach as he leads the way up the stairs.

you and eddie have been friends since the 7th grade, when you stopped on your walk home from school to help him rescue a baby squirrel that had fallen from a tree. you always knew eddie was special, and he knew that about you, too. your bond was like no other, completely unbreakable, the two of you basically attached at the hip. over time, your feelings got a little more complicated, but luckily eddie was in the same boat. eddie confessed his feelings for you at your last movie night together and…. long story short, the two of you find yourselves as a couple in the present day, you’d been going out officially for a few days now. and it was going great, really, eddie had just taken you out for ice cream (your first official date) and it felt so good to hold his hand in public, showing him off.

but now… well. it’s just you and him, alone at your house. just the two of you. newly dating. at your house. walking up to your bedroom. you swallow thickly as you sit across from eddie on your bed, legs criss-cross. it’s not that you’re uncomfortable around eddie, no, that couldn’t be further from the truth. it’s just that you’re not used to the whole… ‘couple’ thing, there are new boundaries to be crossed now, and your palms start to sweat the more you think about it.

eddie shifts slightly on your mattress, slurping on the last remnants of his milkshake, filling the silence. he gets up, throws the cup in the trash, sits back down. his hand finds its way to your thigh, his thumb rubbing circles on the skin. his big, sparkly brown puppy eyes are gazing into yours, and it takes your breath away for a moment. before you can process what’s happening, he’s started to lean in. to kiss you. on the lips. your best friend eddie who’s now your boyfriend eddie is about to kiss you on the lips. his lips barely ghost over yours before he’s suddenly backing away from you.

“ah, shit, I’m sorry,” he says, squeezing your thigh. “I just… is this okay? do you wanna do this? cause like, we totally don’t have to if you’re uncomfortable..” he rambles, his free hand rubbing the back of his neck.

“no! noooo, I’m not uncomfortable. I-I wanna kiss you, eddie. I mean, unless you’re uncomfortable?”

“me? oh, no. noooonono. I’m totally comfortable. I just, ah,” he pauses, looking at you for a moment, causing the two of you to burst into laughter. “god, look at us, we’re ridiculous,” he chuckles, shaking his head a little.

you bite your lip to stop your giggles, reaching out to grab eddie’s arm reassuringly.

“I really, really wanna kiss you eddie. I just, my brain is like, having way too many thoughts right now? like, I’m about to kiss my best friend, and that’s- I mean that’s crazy, right? I just can-” eddie’s lips against yours cut off your nervous babbling. your body goes weak, slumping into the kiss fully. his lips are so soft against yours, so gentle, as if he’s afraid you’d break if he kissed you any harder.

he pulls away finally, his hand moving from your thigh to cup your face.

“was that okay?” he asks, beaming at you, his cheeks flushed pink.

“yeah, ed, yeah. that was more than okay,” you sigh, pulling him back into you for more.

you only have to hype yourselves up for about twenty minutes before you take each others clothes off, and only have a few fits of adorably awkward giggles as your bodies rock gently together for the first time. progress, right?

Adam Warlock x Reader

Plot: You decide to show Adam around Earth, a place he was always curious about. A few shenanigans occur along the way.

“So, remind me what this place is again?”

Adam stands beside you, in awe. The flamingoes in the open enclosure roam around freely, as the sunlight captures their magnificent pink feathers.

“It’s a zoo where you can see different animals.” You explained. “Which reminds me, there are plenty of other animals if we go further down this way,” you steer him in the direction of the lion enclosure.

With the Guardians taking a couple of days off, you decided to take Adam down to Earth. If he had to come for an official Guardian business, it would be great if he was acquainted with some of Earth’s customs.

After racking your brain on what was a good way to slowly introduce him to Earth, you decided on showing him what nature had to offer. You had Blurp to thank as the furry creature had slinked into your bed one night when Adam left his room unlocked.

A mixture of oohs and ahhs could be heard from Adam as the two of you visited various enclosures. He admired the elegance that the lions radiated, though you saw him standing slightly further away from the fence as compared to the other animal enclosures.

You received a multitude of questions when he saw a seal performing various tricks with a zookeeper. “Does the earthling have powers like us?”

“Well, kinda. They have to develop a bond with the animals and gain their trust first.” You were glad to see that he was clearly enjoying this visit. “Come on! I do want to show you that the zoo isn’t the only place where you can see animals.” You grin at Adam’s confusion while leading the way.

“People can eat and drink here? While playing with… puppies?”

“Dogs.” You corrected him, taking a sip of your blueberry ade. “Not everyone can keep pets at home like how you took in Blurp. But sometimes, they just really need the comfort of a furry friend for a few hours.”

Adam looks down to see a corgi with coffee colored fur circling his ankles. He picks it up with ease, holding it by its body for you to see.

“Why does this one look like bread?”

You giggled. “Almost accurate but not quite. That is a Welsh Corgi.”

“This dog has abnormally short legs,” Adam observes as he puts the dog back down. The corgi decides that his lap was the best sleeping spot and starts to doze off. “Do all dogs look like this?”

“Nope. There are many different breeds. For instance,” you took out a treat to entice a Daschund a few feet away from you. You take a look at the dog’s name tag. “Meet Sausage. He’s a Daschund.”

The dog wiggles out of your grasp, jumping into Adam who thankfully has quick reflexes. Wagging its tail, Sausage starts to lick his face.

“I think it likes you,” you smile at Adam’s futile attempts to fight off the onslaught of affection from the hyperactive Daschund. You decide to help him out, wanting to show him the other lovable dog breeds, big and small.

Preparing to leave for the day, you came out of the toilet to find two of the cafe workers looking anxious. Not thinking much about it, you prepared to meet Adam at the ship.

“Toast is gone! He never goes anywhere!” The girl with strawberry pink hair exclaims. “Boss is going to have a fit when she knows that he’s gone.”

“Calm down,” worker number two comforts her colleague. “I’m sure he couldn’t have gone far. Did you see anyone take him?”

“I was so busy at the cashier. But the last I saw him was with a guy… he was super tall and… out of this world…”

You furrowed your eyebrows at strawberry girl’s description, realization hitting you. You know exactly where the corgi has disappeared to.

“Adam!”

You entered the ship to have your suspicions confirmed. You find Adam tossing a squeaky ball across the main area where Toast, the Welsh Corgi was scuttling around.

“So this is where you ran of too you sneaky little bugger!” You picked up Toast and gave it a few pats. “Adam, this belongs to the cafe, you can’t take it along with you.”

He sees your slightly exasperated expression. “I’m sorry, I just wanted to find a friend for Blurp.”

You sit beside the God, letting Toast run for a little longer. “I know, Blurp has been kind of lonely. How about this? We can bring Blurp down here every week. I can talk to the staff to let us have Toast for a couple of hours. This way, we can see more places too.”

Adam takes in your suggestion slowly before nodding. “Yes, I would like that very much.”

“Great. How about we return Toast back home?”

You had apologized profusely on Adam’s behalf, but you couldn’t help but to notice the two girls sneaking glances at Adam who was too engrossed in saying his goodbyes to the canine.

As the ship takes off, you see Adam’s forlorn expression.

“Hey, Adam. Hold out your pinkie.”

As he extends his hand with his pinkie out, you wrapped your own pinkie around his.

“This is a pinkie promise. I think it’s sweet that you really love them, and I promise I’ll take you to see them. Not even Rocket’s last minute tasks can stop me. Okay?”

Adam looks at your pinkie intertwined with his, an unreadable expression on his face. He extends his fingers to hold your hand, satisfied with what he had just done.

“There, instead of a pinkie, this is a hand… promise?” The words rolled off his tongue naturally and Adam was pleased with himself. “That way you can’t break it.”

You laughed, holding onto his hand tight as the ship exits the Earth atmosphere.

“A promise it is, Adam. A promise it is.”

♪ - He didn't think to much of it at first when An kept coming over to your table, but after about 12 times he was annoyed by it.

♪ - You and HIM were on a date not you and An, so every time that she came over to the table and started talking to you he leaned back in the booth, crossed his arms, and gave her a sharp stare even though she couldn't see him.

♪ - When An had walked away you saw him and you kinda laughed at his pouting state, but when you asked him about it, he (of course) denied it but we all know he was totally annoyed and jealous.

It was now the 13th time that An had walked over to the table that you and your Boyfriend were sitting at.

"Great! Well if you need anything else let me know!" She said waving off to go check on another table

You could already tell that Akito was annoyed but he didn't wanna say anything about it. So you decided to bring it up instead.

"Hey" you said looking at him "What's wrong" you asked

He turned towards you away from looking at An to make sure that she wasn't coming back for the 14th time already.

"Nothing.." He said

He had his arms crossed on the table so you made him uncross them and you took his hands in yours.

"If your jealous you can tell me" you said laughing a little bit because he was clearly pouting because of this

"Fine, I am, but it's not my fault it was supposed to be our date and now I have to share you with An? That's not how this was supposed to go." You let go of his hands and when An came back over a couple minutes later and asked if you needed anything, you asked her for the check. You knew that it wasn't a good date unless both of you were happy being with each other and so you decided that it would be a better idea if the two of you just went home and watched a movie or something like that. Akito was a little surprised when you had asked An for the check, he thought that you had liked this place and was confused on why you wanted to leave, after you paid (despite Akito trying to take the bill 3 different times) you told him your plan while walking out, he was 100% okay with it and he was glad that you took his feelings into consideration. When the two of you went to his house Ena was on the couch watching a movie and when you two walked in she asked if you wanted to watch it with her, you agreed and you sat down on the side of the couch, Akito came up next to you and started snuggling you. The three of you watched the movie but before you could finished you had fallen asleep as well as Akito, Ena quickly snapped a couple pictures before turning off the movie and heading to her room for the night.<3

When Akito had gone to school the next day he saw An talking with Toya, so he walked up to them.

"Ah there is LoverBoy" An said snickering at the ginger when he walked close to the two of his unit mates.

"LoverBoy" He questioned back at her

"Yeah, I saw how jealous you were when I was talking to your lovely girlfriend." She said recalling her shift last night

He then remembered what had happened and a blushed started to grow on his face.

"W-whatever, and for your information I wasn't jealous, I was annoyed" He said trying to prove something that was obviously false

"Righttt, and I'm dating Toya" She said with an unimpressed look.

That's when Toya decided to speak up

"Wait, I thought that you were dating Kohane..?" He asked An confused

"Ya know your really book smart but omgosh you really need to read the room dude." An said looking blankly and the blue haired male standing next to her.

"Anyway.." When she had turned back around to continue to tease Akito he was long gone, what she would have never found out though is that he was texting you about the whole thing and even though you went to a different school you still knew about all the issues that he had at his school.<3

I've had these 2 ideas for about a year now. I'll start with one and wait for your opinion. I imagined a game where Kirby has to fight multiple factions (about 6-10 new ones) they're all fighting for an artifact with enough power to control all reality (the multiverse, lol). But little did they know that the artifact was secretly a demon preying on their greed and the constant fighting hastened it's release. Ok now that I'm thinking about it sounds like Star Allies. But Kid Icarus inspired it

Some of these ran pretty short so I ran through a handful of yours in a batch, Infinite! Hope that’s okay!

Ahh, I haven't played Kid Icarus Uprising. Someday! (Well, I'll probably just watch a let's play or something!)

It's interesting that Kirby might be in the center of a conflict like this, because while Kirby could be considered greedy for food (depending upon the verse/interpretation) Kirby would really have NO reason to have any interest in this artifact, at least for its intended purpose, so would be the only person ostensibly immune to its/the demon's sway?

When you said 6-10, my thought was "broken up into worlds!" but it's pretty funny to imagine Kirby just tearing through faction after faction. Actually, it could be that the demon, which can't really trick Kirby into unlocking it out of a desire for power, ends up using Kirby beating up all the bad guys (to get them "to stop") as the energy it needs for its release?

At least, is any of that close to what you were thinking?

It's funny that although Elfilis technically counts as a "sealed away inter-dimensional monster" I still think this is a bit of a fun, original idea. Also, I could TOTALLY imagine Kirby setting off something like that on accident! That’s almost the perfect Kirby game opening!

Now, the set up makes me think Ancients ("Ancients!" are so much the "Aliens!" meme of the Kirby fandom!) but it wouldn't be weird to see other societies/locations they've had an effect on. I always think back to the Black Market filled with Halcandran goods in that Galacta Knight light novel. There's so many worlds beyond what we've seen! (Or even other cultures that might have misused Ancient tech. Kind of reminds me of the theory that Magolor might not be from Halcandra at all, but just an opportunist.)

Honestly, I think bringing back some of the old power-up concepts from the older games would be really cool! (Like KTA’s idea!) But hmm, I don't know if I specifically want another Robobot-focused game. (I mean, having a sequel after such a long time might be fun, but I don’t want to go back to the HWC as villains. Maybe something involving Lightron? (...I think that’s the name of the company from FL. The ones that spell out HAL?)

Speaking of HAL, given how much they treasures their old & unused concepts, there's a better than average chance we might see them again! Although I wouldn't be surprised if Kirby wasn't the one riding them...!!

(I want to see Susie's Cat Secretary design and Hyness's more Owl-ly designs get reused as future characters, myself! If you buy into one of the unused Magolor's becoming Haltmann, it's not that far-fetched either!)

One thing I love about the anime is how important they make Nightmare! I really like that they treat the game last bossses (...Okay, boss singular) with respect.

But I've always thought Nightmare could be something pretty cool. (Glad he came back in Super Kirby Clash! But even then, he mostly gets tossed around by D-Mind and the others. Well, I guess he IS pretty silly with that exaggerated chin of his and 2nd Edition D&D looking wizard hat!)

Oh, as for the "Wizard" thing, on a language note, I find it utterly fascinating that as opposed to "magic-using" characters like Marx and Magolor and Taranza, the "Wizard" in Nightmare Wizard is pronounced in English! It really distinguishes him, which is perhaps the reason I like to give him a greater sense of importance than he perhaps deserves.........

But he shares this “uses English in his name” with Drawcia Sorceress! I've always felt there was a connection between them, myself! (I recall a Twitter post somewhere that noted they both had a frame of VHS looking static in their animations? And that Eflilis did too?! Yeah... I think SOMETHING is up....)

But indeed, the anime and games have a strange little relationship to each other! Galaxia, as I recall, was brought into the games from the anime? Meta Knight’s sword didn’t have that distinctive design + the name until after it aired.

I don't think Galaxia has much game lore, but we also have some other interesting swords in the games that we haven't seen much of since! Particularly the Rainbow Sword from DL2 and the Master Sword from Amazing Mirror! (I would love to see some update on ALL of them, myself! Maybe we can get a Meta Knight & Magical Sword focused game! The fact that we got to see Meta's old sword in FL means they're at least thinking about it!)

Is Wolfwrath the monster from Meta's backstory with... Garlude, is it? I guess I need to watch those episodes, as they seem to have affected a lot of people!

Now uh. I must apologize it's been about a hell of a month a lot happened at once & I was havin a not so great time. Oh shit really? How was Croatia whats it like there? I hope school is goin well for you. It sounds like you had a lot of fun with it & that's what matters I'm glad you enjoyed yourself with the festival. Oh! Clockie event kept up the good stuff & legend of the galactic baseballer too. Somnium files is a mystery detective game that was. Kinda fun. Weird as hell mystery with a lot goin on. HI HI HI!!! apologies for taking so goddamn long to respond, my already nonexistent sense of time is even WORSE during the vacations. damn i hope its better on ur side now!! i luckily have been Pretty Okay, with the school year ending and all. CROATIA WAS VERY FUN!! it was actually an academic trip for my mother so we did Marginally less exploring as usual but still! my moms colleague took us to a bunch of cool places. no sea trips tho since we were in zagreb which is quite a bit away from the coastline. but ohhh the mountains and the FOOD!! the food was SO good. theres this little [but very popular] place in zagreb called heritage with the best fucking food ive eaten in my LIFE. genuinely. school finally freed me from its grasp the last 2 weeks [altho i Did have to write some random short tests to get my red stripe] [oh wait you dont know what a red stripe is. basically the grading system in poland is from 1-6, with 1 being the worst. if your average grade at the end of the year is 4.75 or more, you get a little stripe of the polish flag on ur diploma, but we just call it the red stripe. im on a 100% streak since i even entered the education system!] so other than all that i just kind of fucked around with the entire 2 other people who even came to school. that is not an exaggeration like there were genuine 2 other people there. but i digress! the festival WAS a lot of fun. unfortunately the people from younger grades pretty often dont want to participate [i mean, i dont blame them, they just got here] so were pretty much Always short on manpower to the point we might not be able to organize one next year but thats just speculation that i hope doesnt come true ahsjfgh. OH AND THAT SOUNDS SO COOOOOOL......... and YEAH god its been a while since we started this topic and the weather STILL doesnt want to make up its mind. literally had one day ~27-30 celsius and the next around 15. annoying. and hey good luck with getting on your meds!! i got my stash covered for the next 2 months so im Chilling. god how good it is to be medicated. i feel like a deflated balloon when im not. and to think i lived most of my life like that...... My favorite character. so she got lightcone privileges this time. god im gonna miss penacony...... i mean were probably gonna come back here on some trailblaze continuance or whatever just like what happened with belobog and now the xianzhou but still. i Will miss it. such a well written arc. also actually im curious, whats ur fav sub-area of penacony? im a dreams edge girlie but i wonder if thats a common sentiment. the VIBE there is immaculate. AND GOD YEAHHH THAT REVEAL WAS SOOOOO GOOD. especially since it had so so many honkai references so it was basically tailored for me to like it hehehe. i DID eventually get through yeah! with slight pain but i Did. very fun bossfight although it was slightly annoying that we couldnt use our own team both times since it wouldve been much easier. CONGRATS ON THE TOPAZ!! and good luck getting robin in the future!!! i Have finally built pela and bailu (well, bailu is Still missing one good artifact but yknow she does her job even with what she has). now onto firefly and harmony tb.... god my relic AND planar ornament luck is terrible for both of them. pain and suffering but at least automated grinding is, as always, saving my sanity. ALSO WELT SINCE I FINALLY HIT 300 AND GOT HIM. IM FREE. JESUS. and WOO CONGRATS ON THE GENSHIN GIRLIES!!! i actually managed to get my laptop to cooperate with me so im also back to genshin. not playing too often since i also got into friday night funkin and its very fun But i will try to save for arle's rerun. about time i got a good elemental dps. THE NEW SU MODE IS SO FUNNNN I LOVE IT A LOT. and yeah new march looks very very cool!!! probs not gonna get her immediately but she will be mine Eventually.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Kadaj and Maria Banner

The Mother Fixation Lost Chapter event just started in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game. This event came with 1 banner.

Mother Fixation Banner

The Mother Fixation banner features the following chars and their weapons:

Jecht from Final Fantasy X - Burst or BT only

Maria from Final Fantasy II - 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD

Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children - 15cp, 35cp, Ex, and LD

Alisaie Leveilleur from Final Fantasy XIV - 15cp, 35cp, and Ex

Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

My Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (#ad) is fully built and MLB. All of his Boards have been completed.

He has 3 ATK 108 with Remnant Up★★ (While Latent Thoughts active: Raises own MAX BRV, ATK by 5%) Artifacts.

Kadaj is equipped with the following real Spheres:

Garland’s (from Final Fantasy I) Break Hit Raging Attack Up A Sphere

Raises ATK by 2% when inflicting Break or attacking target afflicted with Break up to 5 times, once per turn

Oerba Yun Fang’s (from Final Fantasy XIII) Break Hit Attack Up Longer A Sphere

Raises ATK by 10% for 6 turns when inflicting Break or attacking target afflicted with Break

The Emperor’s (from Final Fantasy II) Debuff Success Attack Up Longer E Sphere

Raises own ATK by 10% for 6 turns when inflicting debuff on target

Even upgraded Kadaj’s High Armor to Blue.

Used Kadaj a lot when I first got him. Managed to get him to work through a number of Lufenia (level 200) quests.

Was really hoping that Kadaj would get a rework or update the next time he came back with his Lost Chapter event but, alas, it wasn’t meant to be.

This is his Lost Chapter banner and he got absolutely nothing new at all. He’s still the same as he was when he was first introduced as a playable char in Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia and that felt like ages ago.

In short, he’s sadly outdated and powercrept by now. At least I heard he gets pretty good when he gets his Level 90 and Crystal Level 90 Awakening. That won’t be for a while yet though.

Maria from Final Fantasy II

As for Maria from Final Fantasy II - although Mother Fixation is Kadaj’s Lost Chapter event, it’s Maria who got something new.

Her base kit didn’t get a rework or anything but her LD is new. This is its first appearance.

Maria’s a support char with pretty decent auras. She can heal. She can battery. She also offers a trap debuff that activates right before the enemy’s turn. Aside from dealing damage, this trap also heals and batteries the party.

Mother Fixation Free First Multi-Draw Results

For the Mother Fixation banner, the only weapons I’m missing are Maria’s LD and Jecht’s BT.

As part of the Black Friday campaign, we get a free first multi-draw on the Mother Fixation banner.

This free pull gave me a gold orb, which turned into a dupe of Maria’s Ex and a dupe of Kadaj’s LD. Ahh, why couldn’t that Kadaj LD have been Maria’s LD instead?

Maria’s Ex gives a good Sphere (raises the party’s ATK and INT BRV by 5%) so the dupe isn’t unwelcome but still. Wish I could have gotten her LD on this draw already.

Mother Fixation Banner Tickets Pulls Results

Was kinda interested in Maria because I heard she can help with one of the fights in the upcoming Dimensions’ End: Transcendence Tier 7.

Couldn’t justify using gems here though considering basically everything here’s a dupe. So decided to try my luck with tickets and just hope for the best.

Would have had more than 218 tickets on hand if I hadn’t foolishly wasted around 200 or so on the banner that featured Jecht’s LD. Really regret this now.

Wish I hadn’t done that. Don’t even need Jecht. In fact, was planning to skip that banner entirely other than doing the free daily single draws.

For a while, I thought I was doing well on being able to ignore said banner. But then I got the urge to pull.

So I started tossing tickets on Jecht’s LD banner. Big mistake. Not only did I fail to get Jecht’s LD, my pulls were also so bad that I barely got any golds, dupes or otherwise.

What a complete and utter waste of tickets. Can only hope this banner with Maria’s LD won’t be so mean to me.

To my surprise and relief, was actually able to get Maria’s LD. It came from a gold orb.

Before that, my previous 10-pulls weren’t that bad either. Got the usual bronze and silver trash but also got a few gold dupes.

The 10-pull that gave me my very first copy of Maria’s LD also gave me a dupe of Maria’s 35cp and a dupe of Alisaie’s 15cp.

Still have 168 tickets left after Maria’s LD showed up. Very pleased with this banner.
