i see your post about leo being relieved that hes trans because he learned his stripes would go away and i raise you: leo, who spends his entire childhood in fear because donnie told him that he will lose his stripes when he is younger, only for them all to realize hes trans when they dont

Oh…Leo having so much value in his looks and especially his stripes because they’re what make him stand out the most, and in turn it helps solidify himself a role in the team as the “Face Man.” Sure, he absolutely thinks himself good looking with or without the stripes, but his stripes are striking and he knows it, and they mean more to him than just looks anyway. Knowing all this time that his stripes were going to fade and yet still taking on his title and still being as confident as he is - imagine he’d already come to the conclusion that his worth on the team, in his family, was always on a timer.

Then that timer goes away. And he’s left with relief and tells himself that hey, he’d have been just as cool looking without the stripes anyway! But…he’s glad to keep them. Even if his role isn’t quite just “Face Man” anymore, his stripes are a part of him.

And it’s been really scary to think that someday he’d look in the mirror and see a part of himself missing.

i have stuff to yap about this piece! as you may notice harbinger!yue’s name there is ‘brighella’ which is taken from commedia dell’arte (following all the other harbingers names) so i took one from there too! BUT her real name is still yue, just like how arlecchino is called arlecchino but her real name is peruere or how tartaglia’s real name is ajax and so on ^^

harbinger!yue’s codename is ‘the prevaricator’ which basically gives a bit of an insight to her character — a cunning and deceitful individual who avoids the truth when speaking. (this may or may not have led to her rank being unacknowledged !!!) her codename also relates to her commedia dell’arte name in some way since brighella is known as a masterful liar.

i do want to make an ‘about: the prevaricator’ voiceline from wanderer himself KSJJSJDJSKAKS (since i made him one with yue (the akademiya scholar) too ><

also, i did do one with just ‘yue’ but it felt so out of place hence why i used a commedia dell’arte name for harbinger!yue :3 anyway thabk u for coming to my yap session

this was kinda the worst episode out of the entire series tbh simply because of the pacing. i liked the episode, but it was all over the place. they tried to tie in all the lose ends in 50 minutes, and that just wasn’t possible. louis being imprisoned, then released, losing his mind, recovering, AND burning down the theater and killing santiago, all in the span of like 5 minutes, the whole louis/lestat/armand scene, daniel exposing armand, loumand divorcing (that was so underwhelming, esp after 2x05, like, i needed these bitches to have a proper verbal argument, i needed them to be AT EACH OTHER’S THROATS), armand turning daniel (offscreen, cause they didn’t have time to get into all that, cause like… no way it was that simple lol there were too many devil’s minion hints throughout both seasons), louis flying to nola, reuniting with lestat (they have far too long and complex a history for it to be resolved so quickly, it would’ve been far more meaningful had it been done right), daniel publishing his book (compiling, writing, editing, publishing it AND selling 4-5 million copies must have taken a lot of time, so time jump, i guess?)… just by typing this out, it’s too much, way too much to cover in a single episode. the hectic pace left me unsatisfied and it also left a lot of room for plot holes (no more unreliable narrators now, cause the interview is done). idk i think they really should’ve split this into two episodes, at least. one of the things that i really admired about this show was the pace. in season 1, they managed to cover 3 decades in the span of only 7 episodes, while simultaneously showing us what was happening in dubai in 2022, and it never felt rushed. season 2’s pacing was still amazing and satisfying, up until this episode. idk man… i hope this doesn’t happen again, cause it really left a bitter taste in my mouth, and it was the finale, so my expectations were high.

Meet Florian!

Florian is 19, and moved down to Santa Carla with money saved from his job, having saved up to move from his jobs town once he was out of high school. A couple friends of his had plans to move down here and while he hadn’t really heard much of the town before moving but he had always liked the beach so he took the chance for a fresh start and moved into a small 2 bedroom apartment with one of his friends.

Once he finally got unpacked he decided to have a look around the town, both looking for something to do around the area and for somewhere to work.

He’s seen some pretty cool people down on the boardwalk, and really thinks he’s going to like it here.

He’s a little jumpy at times, while he doesn’t particularly like confrontation, he knee-jerk reaction to any aggressive behaviour and will likely match the energy of whoever he’s talking to.

Not the most trusting person initially but it’s pretty easy to get him to open up. Relatively easy going, up for trying any activity or adventure, and genuinely enjoys meeting new people. He’s also for a bit of a sweet tooth.
