wowie i did it! I drew sonic designs for if he were in each shatterverse!

Im very proud of them, they look so skrungly

Also this was a challenge for me, i just kinda made up their designs as i went along with no references and no premade color palettes

Renegade Blur, the Sonic of the New Yoke City Shatterverse

I took some design element inspo from Knucks, with the scars and the lil spine dent thingies

He is incredibly reckless and very loud and overconfident (his scars are from being reckless and stupid)

He is kinda similar to Chaos Sonic tbh

He stops at nothing to defeat his enemies, even when his body cant take another hit

He can be a lil bit overbearing, but when it counts, his heart is usually in the right place

He works with Rebel and Knucks, and sometimes they don't get along but they can trust Blur usually

Loves races and is a sore loser

He's also never met Nine, but if he were to meet Nine, he'd be able to get along with him, but would side with the Rebels and agree he can't always be trusted

Very violently aro/ace, he do his own thing and doesn't like the idea of being bogged down by another person he has to take care of

Quill, the Sonic of the Boscage Maze Shatterverse

Took some design inspo from Gnarly and Thorn, as well as the facepaint from Prim

He can be a lil nervous and underconfident, and doesnt know he can run fast (hes a lil bit klutzy - if he runs too fast he trips on something and falls over, so he doesnt run too fast typically)

He loves his friends! He hates getting abandoned

He typically hangs out with Prim, Gnarly, Hangry and Mangey above the forest, but he does hang out with Thorn occasionally below the treetops (the rest of the group has no idea)

Thorn scares him a lot. He is so afraid of her, but he sticks around cuz they do actually care about each other, but they refuse to admit it

Quill is usually the one that the group sends below the forest, cuz he is able to grab some food without immediately getting sent up by Thorn and Birdie

If Thorn ever catches him taking berries, Quill is usually able to explain himself, and Thorn usually lets him off the hook

Quill and Thorn like each other (shhhh dont tell anyone i said that, not even quill knows he likes her)

Mangey is one of his best buds! They get along so well and no one knows why

Has never heard of the idea of relationships, but he has these weird fuzzy feelings for Thorn that he cant identify, hm must be nothing

Aklesh, the Sonic of the No Place Shatterverse

This one was my fav to design. I took a lot of inspo from a lot of the No Place characters, and "Aklesh" is Sanskrit for "Swift Lord"

The shiny rings and accessories are the colors of his friends - Red for Dread, Yellow for Sails, Pink for Black Rose, and Purple for Batten

His bandana on his head is yellow to go along with how Sails's bandana is blue

He just loves vibing with his crew, he gets along well with everybody - Sails and Dread are his besties tho

He's perfectly fine with being lazy and not doing anything everyday, but when the time calls, he's more than happy to be a swashbuckling pirate

Surprisingly, he is not afraid of water

He loves his colorful shiny accessories and is a bit of a collector

The peacemaker of the group, he settles disputes and suggests that the answer isn't through violence - but if the answer is to use violence, like if another pirate ship raids them, he won't stop fighting until he is victorious

Kind of unofficially unspokenly the second in command to Dread

Raging pansexual. Kind of a slut, with how he keeps his shirt half open /j

Aklesh thinks Dread is very very neat (and they were crewmates wink wink). Dread has no clue

Too old for this shit (spiritually). Obsessed with Lupin (literally). Hats. They're definitely a rarepair, but not the rarest (props to any zenigoe shippers, lol). So, thoughts on Jigen x Zenigata? I feel like they've got a lot of potential despite not interacting all that much, platonic or otherwise.

this one has always intrigued me because the very few times where they do interact directly its just. so funny. they have such a funny dynamic that i want explored so much more. also funnily enough the next ask after this one is zenigata and goemon so!! isn’t that a cute little perfect triangle of asks!!

i used to joke with my friends (IN A PRE-LUPIN ZERO WORLD) that jigen could very well have been older than zenigata and lupin was just fucking with zeni by insisting he was the old man. not really related to anything but it’s always so funny to me. but like you said spiritually at least, jigen is significantly over the hill, and it’s hilarious that in this case the ACTUAL older guy is the one with twice the energy

i think, honestly, like with all of the gang proper, zenigata would be shocked by how much he has in common with him. it’d take forever and a day to get there but when they GOT there he’d be like “wait you also think ketchup on eggs sounds gross when you say it out loud and yet not that bad of a flavor combination in theory but you’re too lazy to actually try it?” and there’s this weighted pause before jigen kinda shrugs like “Yeah.” and zenigata goes “Damn…” 

the size difference is so funny because it means zenigata COULD just sling jigen over his shoulder but would never out of fear of retribution. like yeah you can pick up this little pomeranian but look at those eyes do you trust that thing to not lunge for you when it’s at face value?? if he ever has to do it he just repeats “sorry sorry sorry” under his breath the whole time until theyre out of range but really i think jigen is pretty ok with not dying. and also with being scooped like that lmaooo you see the way that guys ex-boyfriends are built?!!?!1!?

they would be absolutely terrifyingly effective working together because they would actually listen to each other, and neither would really be fighting to “lead” the attack. but on the other hand the contrast between the one who looks like he’s putting every single muscle in his body focused on this one minute task vs the guy who looks completely effortless doing some crazy shit like untying alexander’s knot or what the fuck ever is kind of funny. AND LEAVES YOU UNDERESTIMATING THEM LEAVING YOU OPEN FOR A TAG TEAM ATTACK WHUPOW!!

fgdbyhasjiokjhv I saw the prompt and knew this was a Enyton. Inspired by this post by @flauschwurm (I love that post jbfashb) . Drayton was obviously Ken, he skips class he's lazy he's silly I felt like it worked. And Enyo was obviously Barbie as she's the grounded and serious one in the dynamic as she's often picking up the slack for others (mainly her father Cyrano and Drayton) Her hair gave me trouble, as I kept changing her hair, though I wanted her hair pinned up to show she means business. So I went with braided hair (idk how to describe shit) and made it gren because...........Uhhhhh i don't want to make her hair gray like her dad's. I hated drawing the logo on his jacket and his hair was so hard fjhbdfajhjjnsh yeah I messed up with the angle for his head.... shhhh overall I love this piece 9/10 classes skipped

Day 5 just had good art what the actual fuck. I had a vision and I think I achieved that so I don't have any complaints. I wanted the colours to contrast with each other though my one complaint was that I kinda wished I spent more time on each drawings. The piece with the fire was an old drawing I did for an unfinished drawing for the colour wheel challenge last year I never finished- and I added that because I was lazy tho I feel like it ruined the piece 8.5/10 pickles

<voice is soft, almost a whisper, gentle to wake him up but bright with excitement>

“Goood morning..! Good morning, sleepyhead! Happy Sunday..! Mmmm…mmmhmm. It’s me… rememberrr? Melisssssa..? <giggle!> C’mon, sweetie…rise and shiiine..!”

“Yep..! It’s a rainy Sunday. The girls are all headed to the marches downtown but I wanted to spend it with you..! I thought this would be a nice thing to do, paint this place. Is that okay? Hmm? Is it okay, if we spend Sunday together?”

<he responds with something like ‘sure I’d like that’>

“Oooo good…I’d like that too..! <excited giggle!>

“So, yes. Painting. I brought all the stuff. I’ve <giggle> never done this before, but the boys at the paint store showed me everything we’d need. Brushes, rollers, trays, this cute blue tape…”

<pause, he asks a question>

<pause, he asks what color>

SO firstly;

james aka my boy rufus - heid's boy rufus? lmao, probs not. everytime i see james on my dash, i see the fuckin' king you know what i mean? i see a passion that is inspiring, a love for the character that spans decades (im pretty certain, how long is a decade?) in a strange way, james' portrayal / love for rufus makes me feel nostalgia. i have flashbacks to advent children being realised, i remember my sister ( i wonder if she'll see this she follows me lol ) fawning over rufus in the og. it's a cosy feeling. like watching toonami or playing dirge of cerberus, i feel snuggly.

that's a weird way to describe somebody and their portrayal - but i hope it makes some sense. it's a warm, comforting feeling. i can see the appreciation for the original source material in james' portrayal and writing whilst also seeing a nice blend / respect for the newer stuff / way that rufus is written now. i know a fair few people who write with james and whenever i see the threads appear on my dash - they're the sort that i stop and read. i find james' take on rufus interesting and intrigueing, and it makes me really think about how my heid and his rufus would interact. i know that i could get something there that wouldnt be a 'typical' kinda ship. yknow? it would be something complex, potentially dark but also not without the family(sorta) aspect that comes from the shinra line & heidegger.

another thing i wanna note here in my admiration towards james is the two of yous interactions / the entire scenario that you've shaped around rufus/cloud's relationships. i find your combined passion admirable and it's very clear, i think, to anybody on the dash that the two of you have a lot of chemistry when it comes to writing. it's the kind of writing partnership a lot of rpers dream of; i love that.

AS FOR YOU, i know you didn't send this in for your url but fuggit, im a rebel, a bad boy -

you know i'm an absolute grade a simp for anybody appreciative of the og. for anybody willing to give it a shot ( too many turn their noses up at the older graphics ) and anybody who actually runs with it, admires and appreciates it. you do that. you not only appreciate it - but you do it justice. you insert the nuances both suggested and outright shown in the original into your portrayal and i see 'em - i see you doing it, goddamn i admire it.

it's so refreshing being able to actually reccomend something as silly as new threat to someone and see them play it, enjoy it - have fun and speak about it with such a passion / joy. it's so refreshing and so, so lovely to see. i know that if i threw up some headcanon garble to you about how heid is fearful of the north crater because in the og, he doesn't leave the highway - you'd GET IT. like, i know you'd probably see my silly ramble and understand it because your passion for the original game is as prominent ( if not more so ) than my own love for it.

i adore the depth you give cloud that he had in the original; i love that you not only play with that depth but also add your own take onto it. you play with things suggested, stuff that could have been canon had the story shifted in a slightly different direction. seeing your both extremely loyal / to-character but also alternative take on cloud is both refreshing and respectful to the original. i admire that a great deal.

i don't write with the two of you anywhere near as much as i'd like to - and that's entirely on me. i'm awful for finding the time to just write these days outside of starter calls or asks but i want you both to know that i really do admire you, i love seeing your stuff on my dash and i appreciate you both hugely as people. keep doing you, keep loving the original, keep loving your characters. you're inspirational and i hope you both know it. <3

hey there if you found this post, that must you really like this show and i do to

i have hyper fixated and maladaptive dreaming about this show since it came out (so like 4 years i need a life lol) so i have a lot of headcanons but some of them are so wacked that they dont make sense, so i will only put the ones that make sense and ill keep adding as time goes on, oh, and another thing to note is that i know nothing about the dc universe other than this show so idk

(also if you dont know what a headcanon is, its like something about a show or a movie or a book is canon or confirmed in your head but not in the actual show or movie or book or whatever, hope that makes sense)

~ kara is an alien (which makes sense cuz she is from another planet so she technically is)

~ since kara is from another planet, english probably doesnt exist there and the language of her planet probably different from all the other languages on earth so it would make it really hard for her to learn english, what im basically saying is that english isnt her first language

~ kara probably got some sort of ptsd from the hole she was stuck in for a bunch of years or what ever it was i think its the phantom zone but idk anything about that sooo, and on top of that she lost her mother and her home so that would make a source of her anger and emotional problems

welp these are the only ones that i have thought about and/or fucked or not relevant or about people gender and sexuality wise but its not my job to label people thats their job but i could add those idk (but ignore the label i just put on kara about her mental state shhh its an idea remember shhhh)

~ i find it really weird that the names on kryton are similar to the names on earth cuz like i said they are different planets so things would be totally different like the language and stuff, but for some reason the names are very english like kara, clark, laura (whatever the aunts name is) but names like zod and non arent traditional english names. so my headcanon is that kara and her cousin either chose or were given those names to be normal ig

~ diana once asked kara to teach her krytonian so that kara would have someone to talk to (which is so sweet when i think about it), but its like really hard and it took kara forever to learn english and she is still learning it, but kara loved the offer

~ diana speaks a lot of languages (which im pretty sure is canon), she speaks greek (cuz shes from there), english (you know), (these are the most spoken languages of the world, according to google) mandarin chinese, hindi, spanish, french, arabic, russian, portuguese, german, hebrew, latin, and she is learning japanese so she can talk to tatsu (damn girl idk how she does it, miss try hard)

Questions 2, 3 & 30 for Haruka, Momo and Misao :3

Hiya!! Sorry this took so, so long. Had a birthday party (not mine, a friend's ofc lol) when this was sent and then... I took part in a marathon relay today!! Ran 4.2 miles and was EXHAUSTED lol. I didn't run the full way, bc I started getting cramps in my leg about halfway through, but it was chill just to run through and see people lol. So yeah, not just being lazy and ignoring you haha /lh

So, question time!! (For this first question, yes I am going to completely ignore the time period and just go with stuff I know well because I'm feeling ✨️lazy✨️)

2) 💟 - She's an indie girl at heart. MARINA, Nicole Dollanganger, Jasmin Bean etc. She's very much "Dad, it's not just a phase, you could never understand!!"

✴️ - She'll listen to anything with a solid beat and a happy tune. She doesn't listen to lyrics much, she just kinda listens to shit. Sometimes Haruka will accidentally ruin songs for her (but not really because she'll still listen to them, just not as comfortably as before lol) because she'll just be jamming out and Haru will go "Hey, you know what that song actually means, right?" She's also a big vocaloid fan in my heart.

🔲 - Heavy rock, without verging into total heavy metal stuff. Like, System of a Down and Three Days Grace etc. Why does she also give me Radiohead fan vibes? (Haru too ngl 💀)

3) 💟 - Bombs. Explosives. It's just genetics. It makes sense, as she's under so much stress (and will be under more sooner or later-) that she basically is a ticking time bomb. Will she blow on others or herself first? Who knows!

✴️ - ...a gun. Hear me out. She's definitely a lover not a fighter, so if I had to give her a weapon, I think a gun would be the most merciful out of the ones I can think of. Something not as close range and personal. Maybe a bow and arrow actually. Idk, she also has that kind of vibe. It also gives her major final girl vibes, which I love for her.

🔲 - This girl needs a baseball bat. Steel preferably. Let her committ several counts of vandalism and property damage and possibly kill or injure a few innocents here and there.

30) 💟 - Unless she's using perfume or something to actively smell good, perhaps to impress someone (*cough* Momo *cough*), she doesn't smell of much. Just smells generally clean. (She does smell of cigarette smoke after lunch on schooldays but shhhh don't tell Kira-)

✴️ - She has a very sweet, citrusy perfume she wears daily. Haruka loves it <3

🔲 - Some rancid mix of mold/grime, alcohol, cigarette smoke and dried blood. Whatever it is, she's stinky (poor thing).
