samgirls really do just ignore how sam lied to dean (this is a fantastic character choice to be clear) about not being willing to do the same thing to save his life and then admitted several episodes later that he lied and would go to those lengths for him and Then Did All That In Season 10.
i love sam btw
So your brother saves you in a way that kinda fucks you up. And it's not all black and white, because on the one hand he did something that fucked you up, but on the other hand you did promise to not go through with your suicide and also he didn't actually intend for you to be fucked up. And yeah good intentions sometimes don't mean shit, but this is a hiccup compared to some of the other shit you've pulled on him and vice versa.
But you're mentally ill about the situation and also grieving and feeling guilty as hell about the guy who you abandoned last year who also just died technically by your hand, so you take it out on your brother because he's an easy target and his entire MO is shouldering the blame for shit that he didn't do.
And all seems fine and well- or as fine and well as it's gonna get with him pretending like you didn't hurt his feelings big time and you dealing with the nightmares- but then he starts acting. Weird. Definitely weirder than usual.
But it's your big brother, right, and he's always fine, even when you know he isn't. Dean is Dean and because he's Dean it's going to be okay, so you continue stonewalling him and pretending like he's a total fuck up who you're never going to forgive (even though you already have). You even go as far as to tell him that you'd let him die if the situations were reversed.
THE SITUATION GETS REVERSED?? he dies for the billionth time in front of you and then wakes up A Demon (you were going to do a demon deal to bring him back btw, exactly the move you told him you wouldn't do) and he then ditches your ass to play Bonnie and Clyde with another demon and you're left with the grief and trauma and insane guilt that has exactly zero place to go, so you start bending those silly little morals to find him, but it's just to find him and then you'll be normal, promise.
It works too, because now he's back, and you're putting the itty bitty problem that he's walking around with a ticking time bomb in his arm on the backburner because you're so relieved. But you aren't talking about the circumstances that put either of you here- not the messy fight you had, or the awful things you said to him, or any of the shit you dragged him through before all this happened.
No, instead of doing any of that, you're throwing all of your energy into going behind his back, recruiting people and demons and witches who you definitely should not be talking to into saving him, and fucking around and finding out with a human skin book. And whoops you just got his best friend killed. BUT WHATEVER.
You get the witch to do the spell anyway and doom the entire world instead of respecting *checks notes* Dean's bodily autonomy and locking him away like he's been asking every minute for the past couple of months. Because you're willing to do the sacrificing as long as you're not the person being hurt.
And don't worry, even though you unleashed the Darkness on the earth, you'll put the blame on both you and Dean, because again he can shoulder it. And this won't have any long lasting consequences resulting in Dean having to put an actual bomb inside his soul and walk alone to his death in a couple of months.

Max's expression when he and David have that scene in the rain are really interesting to think about.
Tumblr media
So, this was right after he did the whole, "People suck, the world is full of assholes, I wasn't loved as a child so now I'm evil and don't go to bed on time" yada, yada, yada. You get it. You can instantly see that he's smug. This could be due to the fact that David didn't respond, therefore in Max's mind he "won" This whole season he wanted to "break" David. According to him he wanted David to see that his idealistic worldview was wrong so he would "cry himself to sleep like the rest of us" Yeahhhh our boy isn't ok...the fact that a 10 year old said this is insane. So maybe he thoughts that he finally broke him and did what he wanted. But then look at his face when David admits that he's right about nobody caring.
Tumblr media
He's confused, he probably just thought that David wouldn't respond, leaving David alone to think about his worldview, but instead David agreed with him and we can tell by Max's face that this wasn't apart of the plan. He just wanted to tell David that he's wrong and get it over with, but then David agrees with him, and is far from the usual cheerful counselor we normally see him as. This intrigued Max, which seemed to be why he stayed.
Now let's look at his face after David's awesome but heartbreaking line "That's why I'll never stop trying. Because somebody fucking has to."
Tumblr media
The guilt is clear on his face. I think this is where Max finally noticed the effect he had on David. While Max wasn't entirely responsible for David snapping here, It'd be foolish to think that he didn't play a part in it. We know that while David tends to act unaffected by Max's comments, he cries over them when he's alone
"I'm so happy you're here, I'll only cry for 2 hours over that comment later!"
He's probably confused, this is what he thought he wanted. David finally broke and admitted that Max was right, and that nobody besides him cares, so why does he feel so guilty? Isn't this what he wanted?
Tumblr media
Then he reaches out for David, we don't know what for. He could've been trying to apologize, make the whole speech he gave sound less harsh, or maybe comfort David in his own weird way. I mean, Max isn't really good at comforting people, since he never had any friends before Camp Campbell, so he never had to comfort anyone. And his parents are emotionally neglectful, so it's not like he had any example to go off of, especially since this was before David comforted Max in Parent's Day, so he had no healthy example of how to comfort others. But he still wants to try to comfort David in one way. Showing how guilty he really feels. But David instantly shut him down, probably too emotionally exhausted to hear from Max right now. Which, while it may seem harsh, it's kinda hard to blame him. He also cuts Max off because he still cares about him. "Go back to your tent Max, you'll just catch a cold."
I'm tempted to gush about how sweet it is that David still cares about Max even when he's at one of his lowest points butttt that's a post for another time. This post in about Max, but look at his reaction when David cuts him off.
Tumblr media
He flinches...I wouldn't be surprised if Max's parents were not only emotionally neglectful, but emotionally abusive as well. Seeing how he reacts to an adult cutting him off, he definitely associates adults cutting him off with negative experiences, even if it's subconscious. This is one of the few times we see Max actually afraid, even though David just wanted him to go in a tent so he doesn't get a cold...fuck, Max's parents really did a number on him
Now let's look at the next time we see Max genuinely afraid which is right after this when the logs fall on David cause the show can't just give David a break ig
Tumblr media
He's terrified...this may seem like an average human reaction, but this is Max we're talking about. He straight up tried to kill David in episode 2 of this season (Although this might've just been a gag, and not something we're meant to take seriously) but here, he tried to reach out for David, then right after this he got help and convinced everyone to do the campfire. Then yelled "Don't look too deeply into this!" when David found out, he still cares about David but doesn't want to admit it, due to a fear of him having something more than just friends to say goodbye to when he leaves Camp Campbell. But also having to say bye to the only father figure he ever had in his life, so he puts up so many walls when it comes to David in particular my poor baby boy

#i feel you op i also started initially to read the stories but got busy grinding for events instead 😭 #i also haven't read any of the events not even madguy bc i feel like im gonna miss a lot of context i feel sorry for my boys #although I've recently caught up to ch7 and it made me a stornger more brainrotted madguy fan than before #ppl said it's gonna get more insane later on and im nervous #but so far. the stories are GOOD i highly recommend reading it if you're able to #it's just kamen rider but with extra steps #also to assuage your fear (i hope?) i heard from the grapevines that the change to leon is minimal you can easily miss it (via @chipsncookies)
YES I feel a lot better knowing other people are in the same boat as me! :') as someone who only plays games very casually, the events are fun (and have been a good excuse to get those support stories on characters I was kinda ignoring) but SO distracting -- and they have a connected overarching narrative of their own (make sure you read them in order when you get to them!) so I don't want to skip any. which I guess is to say that my problem is that I'm enjoying the writing too much! how dare they.
overall it definitely has that Kamen Rider tone and feeling I was hoping for and I am VERY pleased with it! I do kinda miss the kitbashy monsters, though otherwise it's basically just Rider But With More Random Scenes of Characters Being Ridiculous At Each Other and that is exactly what I was after. (also exquisite taste, Mad Guys are best guys 🤝)
and as long as I still haven't gotten to episode 13 and can therefore continue to be hilariously naive, let me just say that I know what I'm dreaming of for Leon. he deserves it.
Tumblr media
...although I do think it would be VERY funny if they made that whole big "WE WILL BE UPDATING LEON'S SPRITES TO REFLECT STORY CHANGES!!!!" announcement and then it turns out that they just like. hue-shifted his eye color slightly to the right or something. it's not even a big story beat, Leon just decided to try out some color contacts, maybe comb his hair back a little, and we don't have the heart to tell him to stop. :(

Alright people, it's time for more Villain Leo lore!!!
Today we are diving into Leo and Splinter's relationship!!!
Read under the cut because this got so LONG, these two have so many issues and there was so much to work with.
Alright, so it's no secret that Leo and Splinter have a....less than ideal relationship. You can see throughout all of TMNT history that Leo looks up to Splinter an insane amount, and Rise Leo is no different.
This boy looked up to Lou Jitsu his whole life, and we can often see him doing the same movements and catchphrases that Lou did. Granted, all the boys do, but Leo seems particularly attached to Lou
And we've all seen the smile comparisons, it's insane how similar his grandiose smile is to Lou Jistu's.
The point is, Leo really looks up to his dad, and we can see this in his actions and attitudes towards not only Lou Jitsu, but also Splinter in canon.
Tumblr media
"Trust me pops!"
I mean, just look at how happy he is to be there with his dad, in his element. This episode is Leo at his peak, outsmarting everyone and predicting his family's moments to the letter.
Also, idk about you, but that smile seems incredibly genuine. That's not even a Lou Jitsu smile, that's a 100% Hamato Leonardo smile at his dad whom he looks up to so much.
And what does Splinter say to his son's ask for trust?
"I knew I should have brought Purple!"
....what.
That is his SON. His 14, maybe 15 year old son, who is asking for his father to trust him.
....and he responds by saying that he wishes he had brought his more intelligent twin brother instead, who he has already shown an implied favoritism towards in the past
Tumblr media
"And I thought Purple was the funny one!"
"Told you guys I was the funniest."
This is a pretty harmless comment tbh, but Leo takes so much pride in his quips, one-liners and puns that this had to sting a little bit.
There's such a huge amount of content to sift through when it comes to these two, and that fact actually saddens me because I had SO MUCH to pick from when making this post, but here's some highlights.
One thing that I noticed while watching a Splinter and Leo compilation is that during the memory episode, Leo is the only one Splinter directly hits
Tumblr media Tumblr media
NONE of the other three were directly hit like this is any point in the episode and yeah, this could totally be played off as a bit or just a case of wrong place, wrong time, but we'll get to my theory later, right now I'm just laying out the facts.
An important detail I'd like to point out here too is Leo's face after the first hit.
Tumblr media
Guys, he looks HURT. Donnie and Raph are looking at him, checking that he's okay, but he is looking right past them at the shadow Splinter, who is dressed and looks just like his childhood idol, who just hit him specifically right in the face.
Not only his idol even. No, the most pure and unfiltered representation of his father, the man who's raised him his whole life.
And he just got hit in the face.
Ouch. For a kid as emotive as Leo (who I honestly think feels his emotions even more intensely than Mikey when he lets them out), this is a devastating blow. Literally.
Then, let's talk about this scene, you all knew it was coming.
Tumblr media
"Can someone tell my son I am NOT TALKING TO HIM!!"
Tumblr media
"You got this pops! I love you!"
Guys this scene hurts my heart. Like, once again, he can't be older than 15 at this point. Yeah he's being a badass stratigiser this whole episode, but you cannot convince me that he wasn't at least a little excited to see his dad, his HERO in action, and wearing a matching outfit as well, and show his dad, his idol and hero, exactly what he's capable of. Leo absolutely worships the ground Splinter walks on and what does his father have to say to his son"s encouragement??
"NO!"
GAHHHH like yes, Leo was kinda being a little shit this whole episode and could have clued his dad in on the plan a little bit, but honestly that could have ruined everything if Splinter had any holdbacks.
Not to mention, this is the only Leo and Splinter episode we get. Donnie gets the derby, Mikey gets the Hidden City bonding, even Raph gets the ending of the memory episode, and in each, they have a genuine moment of bonding with Splinter.
Splinter never ONCE apologized for his actions in this episode. Not once. RAPH is the one who tells Leo in this episode later on that he trusts Leo, something he's been begging Splinter for the entire time.
All of a sudden, this moment doesn't seem so out of place.....
Tumblr media
"I love you soooo much!" "No, no you don't, I'm your least favorite!!"
This line could totally just be a throwaway line, but as it was pointed out to me by the wonderful @nardos-primetime, the alarms that the boys did for Google home have a REALLY upsetting one for Leo
youtube
Go to about 1:57 and listen to that one and just......cry.
NOW that line in "Rat Flu" makes a LOT more sense. Splinter LAUGHED at Leo when he asked if he was his favorite. LAUGHED at him.
But wait, you may ask. What about the ending? Splinter made Leo the leader, obviously he trusts him!
Tumblr media
....yeah, just take a look at their faces here.
Donnie and Mikey are basically horrified beyond belief and in complete shock
Raph is.....blue screening, honestly
And Leo looks completely taken aback and shocked and scared and honestly, I don't blame him. There is absolutely NO precedence for Splinter to do this. He has proved time and time again that he does NOT trust Leo, he never ONCE tells Leo that he trusts him even though he asks for that trust during the entirety of "Unhappy Returns". NONE of them look happy about this new change.
You could see this as Splinter finally giving Leo a chance, but I see this a lot more as one of the more popular Fandom interpretations of Splinter wanting to give Raph a break. Raph had a huge breakdown during the finale and I don't think it's unreasonable for Splinter to have heard of that and decide that his beloved eldest needed a chance to recover.
Who better to pass this burden on to than his least favorite son!
We also see in the movie that this shift in power dynamics really doesn't do much other than create a lot of interpersonal conflict between Leo and Raph, something Splinter does absolutely nothing to help out with, other than telling them to quiet down.
Now that we have all of our evidence (and I put more work into getting evidence for this than for the English project I'm supposed to be doing right now can I just cite this as a source for me being capable of gathering evidence???) we can actually get into the analysis of how this all would affect him.
First of all, I mentioned that I would discuss the repercussions of the memory episode. This analysis is more for Splinter, but I feel like it's still important. We've seen time and time again that Leo is very similar to how Splinter was as a young teen in both looks and attitude. If Splinter truly resents his younger self and how he acted, it would make a lot of sense for him to also subconsciously resent his son who acts a lot like himself at that age. This would cause him to lash out at Leo in his subconscious, the one place where his true thoughts and feelings are on full display.
Tumblr media
I just wanna point out his face again here, Leo looks so hurt. He definitely already knows that he's not anywhere near Splinter's favorites at this point, but it still hurts him to see that get confirmed.
This brings me to my next point of Leo's psyche. He is a very confident, witty, smart teenager, but he's still just that. A teenager. He's anxious, insecure, and very self-reliant. He looks to others for praise often and rarely receives it, usually having to hype himself up. His relationship with Splinter only emphasizes these qualities about him and makes Leo look so much worse in Splinter's eyes because his son is just a modern-day representation of his past self.
Now let's put this into perspective of Leo's decent into villainy.
If Leo is hurting and under the impression that his brothers are maybe starting to dislike him, even hate him, adding Splinter on to this can only make it worse.
Maybe he goes to his dad for tips on how to lead when he feels like he can't talk to Raph anymore and needs his father's advice.
Maybe he sets up a dinner for him and Splinter to just chat and bond instead of sitting at the dinner table with another one of Mikey's meals that he feels too sick with anxiety from his little brother's disappointed looks to eat.
Maybe he goes to his father crying from another nightmare after not feeling welcomed in Donnie's lab anymore after they fought for an hour the day before.
And maybe, just maybe, Splinter waves him off every time.
Forgets.
Laughs at him.
I mean, this is a kid who relys on others to build him up, to praise him and love him because after all....
Who is he without his family?
Maybe it's time to find out.

Caregiver Katsuki Bakugo Headcanons
A/N: Hey!!! This is my first like. Writing related post. In a WHILE. Sorry about that!! But please feel free to request anything, I’m kinda bored. :P
Warnings: Minor swearing but I think that’s it ???
Tumblr media
Bakugo is very aggressive. We all know this. Pretty much all the time, he’s aggressive and seemingly angry. And this does not waver or change, even when you’re regressed. So if you’re super sensitive, he probably wouldn’t be the best for you.
However, that’s not to say he doesn’t care. Quite the opposite, actually. He would die for you and actively goes out of his way to protect you.
Oh, he would get SO mad if anyone ever said anything remotely negative to you about your age regression. He wouldn’t even try to reason with them or have a debate he would straight up just tell them to kys 💀 (me core)
He does better with toddler or kid regressors, but baby regressors are fine as long as they can tolerate his naturally rough and callous behavior.
He did not know what the hell age regression was before he met you. Honestly, I feel like he’d come off as judgey at first. He doesn’t mean to, it’s just how he is. But then he’d go and research it a bit and realize that it’s not anything weird or fetishy and is instead a healthy coping mechanism.
He’s a little hesitant to be your caregiver at first. He says it’s because he isn’t sure if he wants to focus on anything other than training right now and being a caregiver is a lot of responsibility. That’s partially true. But it’s mainly really because he’s afraid he won’t be good at it and will just end up hurting you and potentially ruining one of your only healthy coping mechanisms.
It takes a lot for him to be able to open up to someone and take care of someone like that, but eventually, he does it. And he finds he enjoys it. He finds your little antics and your dependency on him really adorable.
He’s not embarrassed or ashamed that you age regress. I feel like nearly half of class 1-A regresses so it’s not unusual at all for you two to be in the common room, you sitting on his lap with a sippy cup in hand.
Sets you up on play dates with Kaminari and Mina all the time. He wants you to have fun and interact with other littles. Plus, they’re his friends and their caregivers are his friends too.
Takes a little bit to get used to nicknames as well. But finds he likes parental nicknames a lot more than he thought he would.
The first time you called him dada was something he will never forget. You were half asleep, snuggling in his chest, when you realized you were thirsty. You lazily grabbed his shirt and gently tugged on it and went, “Dada…juice…?”. He immediately knew what you wanted and he gave you the juice. He didn’t even register the nickname until a few seconds later and was really shocked. He didn’t say anything about it in the moment, though. He talked to you about it when you were big again and he clarified that he was okay with it and it didn’t make him uncomfortable.
Midoriya and Kirishima are his go-to babysitters. Mainly Midoriya because he’s more responsible than Kirishima. But Midoriya can get busy quite a lot. And Bakugo’s also a little anxious about you possibly liking Midoriya more than him, although he would rather die than admit that out loud lol.
He can cook. This is canon. This mf can cook like a 1950s housewife it is INSANE. He makes all your food for you, especially when you’re little. He likes taking care of you, even if he won’t really say it.
If you’re like me, and you tend to have really bad rage episodes and outbursts when you’re overstimulated or upset, he’s got you. He knows how to deal with that. He’s got a punching bag in his room that he lets you beat the shit out of if needed. He can make you laugh too. You’ll be beating the fuck out the punching bag and he’ll pretend like it’s a real person and say shit like “YEAH‼️‼️‼️ BEAT HIS ASS‼️‼️‼️🗣️🗣️🗣️” and it makes you giggle.
Surprisingly okay with physical affection. You wanna cling to him? That’s fine. Just listen to him if he tells you to get off of him. Respect his boundaries and don’t get in the way when he’s doing something important and it’s cool. 🙏

What if Zombies!Spidey x DCU LETS GOOOOOOOOO-
O K-
So, This is the (Probably not the last, don't worry) post with ideas for my What If Zombies!Peter In the DCU AU. This is the post that (Finally) Focuses on the DC side of things. This post Is also going to be mainly focused on Peter and what he's up to cause he's the focus of this AU, but I’m probably gonna make another post with info on the other heroes, so If your interested in that, don't worry cause I am thinking about them (Bucky & Loki = Brainwashed bros)
Its also part 1 of Idk since this post kinda got away from me with its length (oops)
Anyways, without further adieu, let's start :D
-So! starting this off with something fun and not that serious that I just found out. this should have probably gone in the first post but I didn't know this until now so here, a +1 info on “facts about the zombie apocalypse” tm.
Ok, so at this point you know I like to play around with the timeline right? Ok so, I’m researching the dates and events things take place in right? Turns out, the snap happened in either May or June, and one source even said that it happened on May 31. Now, with this in mind and the fact that I said the apocalypse lasted between 7-8 months, what happens if you subtract 8 months from May? You get October. And if you add the date to it? Guys…I accidentally made it that the zombie apocalypse starts on Halloween! That's just insane!
The official timeline now is 7 months of the zombie apocalypse, no more no less, sorry, I don't make the rules :^ (omg I made Antman & the Wasp a halloween movie lmao. It fits)
-Alright so, Peter, Head Scott/w the cloke and T’challa are on a plane on their way to Wakanda when all of a sudden, well, how many of you seen the Young Justice Episode s1e19 Misplaced? (Btw have I talked about how much I love Billy batson? I will one of these days ok, and that's a threat) well anyways
Airplane squad: *”peacefully” traumatized on a plane to Wakanda
Airplane squad: *the people on the plane fucking fazes out of reality leaving him alone to fly the plane*
Peter: *Panik*
Peter: *feels a pull wanting to take him but fighting it off as he tries to fly a fucking plane*
Peter: *also fades out of reality but much later the other and is now falling to certain doom in the middle of the ocean*
Peter: “Oh What the F-”
Ya that-
I mixed aspects of the snap and scene from misplaced as their way of splitting up. And, they did split up. A high speed plane plus the time it took them to disappear firmly separates Peter from the rest of the heros. And thus the adventure commences
-unlike Billy who can fly, Peter falls head first at top speeds and a thousand meters high into the ocean.  This can happen a few different ways
1) Peter is stranded, and is found by Young Justice or any superhero team that was passing through the ocean and thinks “Oh shoot, that's a child”. And this is how he ends up with the league. This one is kinda fast and there wouldn't be any identity reveal since at this point this Peter has no concept of such a thing. But a good way to work around this is memory loss. Not really my cup of tea but I can very much see this happening considering how hard he hit his head
2) …So Peter fucking dies-
Listen! I somehow started off with my 2 most opposite extremes of ideas, but hear me out. The fall? It kills him. But lets say that some cult or the league of assassins or some shit find his body, realize he’s a “meta” and decide “Yeah, this is a good revival candidate” And they revive the poor sucker. He is held captive HYDRA style and they try to turn him into a weapon. Obviously, he escapes, set free onto the world with a few months of trauma and a stolen one way ticket anywhere. And that anywhere just so happens to be Gotham. I’ll let your mind take it from there
3) This is the last version of events I’m gonna mention and I think this one is the one I'm sticking with, purely for the comedic potential I can see coming out of this. So Peter fought back the spell right? Well unlike the snap where he was fighting a force of nature were he would not have won, Peter was fighting Loki off, which,
Peter: Fighting off that staticy feeling that's trying to take him
Loki: *Genuinely struggling to get this non magic kid to corporate with him*
Loki: Damnit CHILD! I'm trying to save your worthless life!
Peter: *Legit almost wins and gets left by himself in the zombieland*
Loki: …What did they feed you?
Yeah, so since Loki had to focus on getting that idiot spider child to cooperate, he loses track of everyone else, and all of a sudden, the fuzzy mental image he had of everyone dissipates, and Peters becomes the full focus. This lets him save the kid from the crash, but he now doesn't know where all of the others are, including his brother, and now he can't really get to any of them.
-Peter is saved with a spell that's basically the bubble from steven universe but Loki style. He can breathe just fine, but he can't get out or call for hell. He spends many Hours like this.
-Ok so, Loki is a god. We have established this, I keep mentioning it (sorry) he himself brings this up multiple times. What is something gods tend to have sometimes? Avatars, people who act out their will on Earth. You see where I'm going with this? Since Peter is the only mortal from his world he has access to, and because he is stuck on the watchtower, he decides to make a deal with Peter to make him his Avatar and have him look for the others (Thor). Peter, after having most of the situation explained to him, accepts his offer, with a few conditions here and there that prevent Loki from taking full advantage of him. But at the end of the day, they are both desperate and accept the others' offers and conditions with little fuss.
-Deals and conditions for the avatar contract between Peter and Loki
Loki’s Mission: Find the other mortals and spread chaos as his agent Loki’s Offer: Slight magical aid, “ability boost”, Protection from other magical entities, Godly guide and knowledge and Loki wont force Peter into doing anything too grotesque Loki’s conditions for Peter: He will be able to access anything Peter is seeing and be able to take control of any situation if he sees it fit, he must go on the missions he sends him on, And if the situation ever truly demands it, he will listen to everything Loki tells him to do Peter’s Mission: Finding his friends and finding a cure to his world in this new one as Loki’s Agent. He must also make good impressions on other Magical being in this world as to not shame the god he’s representing Peter Offer: His loyalty and tentative trust, he won't argue too much and will do his absolut best to find Thor. he will Listen to Loki and do what he says Peter’s Conditions for Loki: Will become his Avatar as long as he gets to keep being a hero and doesn't have to hurt or kill people. He will only do a mission once a month, and he will not advertise the Avatar bit. Peter gets free will, He can refuse to do something as long as he isn't demanded of it.
With this, a hand shake, and some blood, The deal is made in the bubble in the middle of the ocean.
-Peter is now Loki’s Avatar, Moonknight style, Yay! They don't really like each other that much due to circumstance but it's fineeeeeee. I did this because 1) I thought of a scenario that didn't really make sense unless Peter was somehow talking to him 2) It’s a little nod to the fact most of the fics have the snapped souls with Peter on his adventure. I thought that this way he can still have his voice in his head , it's not that crowded because it's only one voice, and it's not that Intrusive because Loki isn't going to be with Peter 24/7 only when he needs him, he's using some of his powers, or when he can sense distress or danger coming from Peter- Other than that he's stuck at the watchtower trying to plan his next moves. And 3) Cause the thought came to me and i thought it was fucking Holirouse.
-With Some trickery, Peter sneaks onto a boat and spends his time hidden under the deck pretending and hides like a corner spider the whole trip
-Peter in his, Hasn't been around actual living breathing humans for such a long time, self, breaks down and cries at the docks. Coincidentally, The bats are doing a drug bust there and a wearhouse not 10 feet away from him blows up.
-Peter in his typical fashion, Puts on his mask and runs into the building looking for survivors.
-The bats, not knowing what happened, see’s this costume stranger helping the thugs get away and immediately clocks him as a villain. Opps
-They fight, misunderstandings happen and now, The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man Is on the front page as gothams hottest new Rogue. Well shit
-Peter being the smart guy he is, squats at an unoccupied apartment and claims it as his. Then Loki shows up after weeks of radio silence, takes one look at the place and says, hell nah, and fixes the place up with magic making the place more than livable. With some (probably magical) persuasion, the guy renting out the place actually puts him on the lease with 50 bucks of monthly rent. Does Peter feel guilty…well? Gotta roll with the punches man. Plus, this place looks nice, ignoring his 20 something neighbor that has enough blood on him to turn his white hair dye red that had sent his spider sense. This is fine.
-With some help from the voice in his head and walking through dark alleys at night, he finds a guy that works for immigration and was selling sketchy (But legit) identities. Not really trusting the guy but in desperate need and ID for the lease he was about to sign, He coughs up all the savings he had, took a Photo, and Ben P. Riley was born. He said he didn't trust the guy.
-Peter has decided to go by an alias for a few reasons, like not knowing if there was already another Peter Parker in this reality and not really wanting to risk it or the plain fact that he didn't really trust anyone in this new reality with it  (Loki and his magical guidance, he has firmly decided to never give out his name so freely ever again). His name is one of the last things from his past life that he can call his own, And if his “Villainous identity was revealed as Peter Parker, he didn't know if he could handle it. The most simple reason was that he just missed his family and wanted something in this new life he was making for himself to remind himself of them. Ofcourse, he still added that P in there middle so as to not completely erase himself.
-Peter spends a full month just trying to get used to living in a society again, This causes some problems and misunderstandings.
-After many series of misunderstandings and mishaps, everyone thinking he's evil, Peter decides, YK what's, If I can't beat them, join them. Peter starts going out as the “Villain Spider-Man” doing sketchy shit (normal teenage shit) and causing a commotion in Gotham. Peter counts this as his act of mischief and Loki agrees when he sees the kid sell his own photos to the newspaper. Peter isn't actually doing anything evil, it's just his presence that brings fear. The fact that the bats have caught him breaking into multiple high security facilities doesn't really help his case
-Peter spends his months looking through files and files of info searching for the others, but has just about no luck on anything.
-Peter, forced by a mission, goes undercover in Gotham prep to follow one of Loki’s leads. He doesn't really know what he's doing here, but this Tim guy is pretty nice
-Cause of the amazing pictures he keeps selling to the paper, the company hires him full time as their photographer for special events and even lets him write a few articles when they see the notes he puts next to his pictures that provide contexts and stuff like that. This job opens Peter to search to a whole new horizon.
-With Peter's new job, hes sent to many different cities which introduces him to many different people
-He meets Jimmy Olson on a trip to Metropolis and hits it off pretty well with the older man. Jimmy introduces him to his friends and coworkers Lois and Clark, both of whom are just a delegate. Though that Clark guy as not stopped setting of his spider sense since he met him
-The next place he went to was a city called Fawcett, where he was sent to help with a story with one of the local reporters who was apparently his age.
Boss guy: Ben, meet Billy. You two will be working together on the report for this years summer festival
Peter: *Looks at Billy*
Billy: *Looks at ‘Ben’*
*Insert that one Spider-Man meme*
The two sniff each other out as godly “employees” and exchange numbers. And thus, a friendship was born as Billy decided to keep an eye out for any other reality travelers, and Peter is put as one of his emergency contacts to help him get out of shit since he was “technically 20 according to his ID”
-Peter is also sent to Gothams sister city Bludhaven. Peter, ends up meeting a weird police officer that keeps expecting him to take pictures of the guy. But he's nice enough and bought him a hotdog and a cinnamon roll(even though he now thinks he's allergic to them), so the weird outweighs the good.
-On his trip to Bludhaven, Peter decides to go out as spider-man. Not to cause trouble, but to go sightseeing and swinging without the interference of a bat. He ends up sitting upside down on an old building (like that one Atsv scene)  working on some leads he has when all of a sudden, Nightwing appeared right behind him dangling off the side of the building like a mad man giving him a heart attack. Nightwing is about to confront the spider after his sneak attack was caught, but before he does, Peter holds out the cinnamon roll towards the vigilante as a peace offering rushing out the words “Please don't hit me!” and Nightwing just stares. He stares long and hard looking between the treat and the Spider mask. Peter was about to run from them when Nightwing sort of just…sits. Or sits at the best of his abilities with no gravity defying powers. He actually does a pretty good job at it. Nightwing takes to offering with a nod and the 2 just sort of sit there in silence. It's awkward and weird, and quiet but for some reason he doesn't feel as uncomfortable as he thinks he should. Even less when he feels the ringing of his spider senses slowly die down as the minutes pass until it's just a constant hum at the back of his head
-They don't talk after that but from here is a turning point as to how the Bat clan view the spider.
More? Nay I say! (There will be a part 2 to this specific post, but it has gotten too long and I need to go to bed. So hopefully this will do for now :^) Plus this feels like agood stoping point since I feel like that ending would mark the ending to an arc
Please let me know what you think of this AU. I love seeing other people's ideas and thoughts. It fuels me lo
And make sure to keep an eye out for Part 2 of this post.

TPOT 10 spoilers 'cause BH makes me insane
Tumblr media
I mean, c'mon. You can't see this thumbnail and think things are gonna be ok for you mentally if you like blackhole. Like you know what's coming to you.
First things first, let me just scream into the void for a second-
HIS NIGHTMARE IS KILLING PEOPLE AND LETTING THAT CONSUME HIM?????!!?!?
AAAAAAAAAGUH MY HEART??!!???!?
Man- I love Blackhole and this episode just drove the stake into my heart. The fact that he, himself, is a being who causes death by getting too close to people made me writhe in BFB. But actively showing the extent of how it affects him—ack! He knows he causes death, which is why it's so important for him not to kill people, and why he's so strict about the pact rules!!
It makes so much sense... BFB 1 had it all laid out, and TPOT 10 sewed it together.
From the way he was hesitant about helping Flower!!! We know- he knows he's gonna end the world by getting closer, but he gives into it anyway. Instead of putting his foot down to Flower, he gives in to his feeling of wanting to be closer to people—from the way he's so happy about being shrunk—and more later. Then we get that whole thing with everyone about to die.
We know if Four never came, everyone would've died. Blackhole knows that too, from the end of his nightmare. More specific to this clip though, from the scene with Pie and LIY, since he literally just gave in to the urge to get closer and he wants that to never happen again. As a singularity in space, he could appreciate the planet, and life on it, more than other objects. He could see them all interact but never actually interact with them (besides talking), so at this chance of being beckoned, it makes sense that he'd just go "eh, fuck it, alright" then IMMEDIATELY regret his actions. Although his nightmare was about being afraid he'll "give into murderous urges", it can also be interpreted as him being afraid to let go. Something clearly stated in the last scene of his nightmare...
Queue TPOT 10 scene from clip above (I'm so mad that it's only 1 video per post on here)
Over the season we've seen him go from preventing death to just not killing people. It's morphed into his own cut-throat rule for the pact, which, in this context, is fair to see why. He joined the game via him not caring about the consequences, and it's stuck with him, so seeing everyone over and over get away with things made him HAVE to re-enforce to himself that he wasn't allowed. Death PACT doesn't kill people. HE doesn't kill people. He can't allow himself to let go of that regiment.
Obviously, this causes problems in the team- we see the clip. The thing that gets me the most is that this is bona fide trauma we're working with—Fanny telling him to #get-over-it kinda rubbed me the wrong way. And OK! I know- I know that's not exactly what she's saying but that's how it felt, and I know she has every right to be upset 'cause he was fuckin' over his team, but again that's just me! (The fact they got on the same page was enough for me anyway.) I digress, his "obsessive nature" was essentially just a response to everything that's happened to him—it's what makes him feel in control of himself. Poor BH's got trauma bad :(
I think what really twists that knife for me is that... the guy really just wants to connect with his peers normally- He wants everything to go back to normal, and that's one of the reasons he compromises with Fanny. On some level, he knows he's gone too far, but he's just afraid. Even at the end, he can't bring himself to kill Tree, even though he knows it'd be better with the new "focusing on life" angle. Did you hear that shakey exhale? Man's going through the wringer. Obviously, he won't overcome his trauma in an episode, but it's a good step to just playing and enjoying the game.
Anyway... There is probably a shitton of fans that are looking at this like "Yeah no shit Sherlock" but hey! Be nice. Some of us are slower than the others, and by some of us, I mean me. I needed this punch in the face to really see how death was impacting Blackhole's mental state and now I've word vomited my thoughts out.

Who's your favorite character outside of Daisy?
What's your favorite episode and why (or favorite handful because I myself would have a hard time choosing one)?
(Not including Loki because I already know that would be your answer lol) which character from the main MCU do you think would have the most interesting interactions with AoS?
Which character do you wish stayed in the series longer (ie keeping Robbie in more seasons, not killing Lincoln, etc)?
Favorite villain?
Thoughts on Raina because she is criminally underrated and I think she's a very interesting character?
Most unhinged/controversial opinion on AoS?
Sorry it's a lot all at once lol
-Liv
Okay okay!
Favorite character outside of Daisy? I'm really not sure. I think perhaps May or Bobbi
AHHH!! I'm very tempted to say 7x09 ("As I've Always Been") bc it's such a masterclass of directing, story, acting, etc, but I've always had a soft spot for 4x15 bc the emotions are SO WELL DONE there?? Like oh my god?? It's incredibly real
I also do love finales in general, but I think for the purposes of this I'll say 4x15. They're very close tho!!
Ooh, I've never really thought of this! I don't think it'd be the Avengers, Darcy would be fun for a time, but I think it'd lose the novelty after that. I think maybe the Guardians would be the best? Groot would be incredibleeee, I could see FitzSimmons losing their mind over him lol
BOBBI AND HUNTER. Like okay, from a production standpoint, it makes sense why they couldn't come back. Even beyond the cancellation of "Most Wanted", Adrienne was really busy and the times she could return to the series wouldn't make sense for her to show up in
But stillllll they deserved to stay longer
Aida is so good, my guy, she's just so well done. She's clearly an inspiration off Ultron (not that it's bad) and their whole thing of AI taking over, but Mallory Jansen toes the line between human and android constantly, and she's so insanely complex later on
Raina is. Complicated for sure. I think being raised in this idea that she deserves something brought her a very long way; she was never loyal to Centipede or HYDRA, but herself. The advancement of Inhumans. It's why she was so interested in the Clairvoyant, bc she thought he was also Inhuman and could lead her
The metaphors between her and Skye go wildddd, there's so much to be said there. It's kinda annoying to me how the show bases Skye in the wrong for hating her after they got their powers, like she's completely right in this instance! Raina's always been for herself, she'd be more than willing to screw over Afterlife so she can get what she wants
That being said, I do wish the show spent some more time with her and that she didn't die so early on with Jiaying. I would've liked to see how she would've been like if she was good and it's a shame we don't get to see that played out
I don't like Lincoln. Like sorry not sorry, but he's a very bland character and doesn't have much to him other than loving Daisy. He was made to die, and what that means is that he doesn't get much of a personality. Staticquake I see as a fairly toxic ship? Not shitting on anyone for liking it, but there would be so many moments where Lincoln and Daisy are arguing over something LINCOLN said, and in the end, they just never address it/have sex or Daisy apologizes. It leaves a very weird taste in my mouth... especially bc we know she wouldn't tolerate this behavior from anyone else. Their moments are very sweet, but the relationship is lacking in boundaries and communication, which is why I love Dousy so much more

Another day, another slay Pantheon liveblog! Spoilers for episode 3 and the whole show ahead.
The Chanda loop kills me oughh our poor little meow meow. The little changes in between the loops are brilliant, they foreshadow the larger cracks about to come. The other UI(s?) are honestly really scary before you learn what exactly they are, banging on the windows. Sountrack is, as per usual, absolutely wonderful. I'd love to have it on streaming services!! His escape is kinda bittersweet; there's still a version of him stuck in the loop, working away on those patents.
Maddie and Dave spending time together is so endearing, especially because it reminds me of how I used to play videogames with my dad and how much fun that was. It's deeply touching and just makes what's about to come hurt so much harder. It also makes Ellen's reaction so much more impactful.
Ellen rejects David the same way that Maddie accepts him right back. She's finally found peace, moved on from David and now he's back? She isn't ready to accept this right away, so she shuts down any conversation involving David, but for every door she closes, two new open. Alive by Pearl Jam is diabolical. Well played, David. Eventually, Ellen's had enough of this. She can't deny David's existence any longer and they finally sit down and talk and it's gorgeous to see them together again yet also deeply saddening.
Her break up with Gabe kills me though. I imagine he must've found out later from Ellen's interviews and he probably understood why she wouldn't tell him. I reckon he likes to tell himself he would've understood, but knows deep down he's lying to himself. Sad we never get to see him again. I hope he found happiness.
The inflection point is absolutely insane. We see Cary crack a little in episode 2, we see the rise of Renee's anger and it all comes crashing down here. Cary isn't an abuser and he can't play that role any longer. It's eating him alive. Renee, on the other hand, knows how important all of this is for Stephen's return and it's all she cares about. Throughout all of this, she was Stephen's lover while Cary was Caspian's father and that is what guides their paths from here on out. Renee is willing to go so far as to break her own arm for Stephen and we all know she'd sacrifice anything for him. Cary can barely take having to leave Caspian.
The contrast of their real selves and the roles they play is so interesting to me, it's what makes the illusion work so well and also what makes it ultimately fall apart. Caspian would never suspect his frail abused mother to be the head of the operation. Cary's inability to continue on with the project is what ruins it.
Finally, Justine. I adore Justine. She and Maddie are a great duo, they're both mischaracterized by the people around them, they both have messy families. Justine is brutally honest, she's not afraid to plainly state the uncomfortable truths that others work hard to avoid. Maddie on the other hand, she spends more time in the online world and Justine sorta grounds her. They contrast each other in personality, appearance and social standing at the school and it makes them both shine next to each other in different ways.

[design drawn by Peachy-cloudds]
My Personal headcanons for The Operator / Slenderman
[warning: a SHIT tone of writing almost sorry not actually]
The Main inspirtation is by the concept of a hivemind plantlike entity, Has this concept been done before for Slender. Yea, Am I still gonna use it? Yea 🤭 [i love eldritch plant beings they're so cool]
-
Tumblr media
In World Lore:
An extremely long time ago, A being of unknown origin manifested into the world, Simply appearing out of the blue. Being able to exist on all four layers of existence with no consequence for it's actions. Originally said to be an old folk tale elders would tell to children to scare them, The Operator, although known across the world as multiple names, Some extremely fitting while others were uncreative / unoriginal. The entity within the tale would maintain the same behavior in every culture that was made aware of it. Often stalking heavily wooded areas attempting to lure those who were unexpecting into the forest where it will stalk it's prey until they barely escape or become it's next meal. However even escape was never the last one would see the Operator. As it continued to stalk those who saw it relentlessly until it grows tired of the same torment. Or It claims another life. The operator was once said to be in many books recording folklore; however the pages and stories of encounters with it have simply been erased from existence. As if it tears the pages out itself. Wanting to remain within the darkness where it can watch and wait for those who are unaware.
-
Headcanons:
Spiders tend to make small nests in the small holes that are on slender’s body, These spiders due to long exposure can give you the drowning if they bite you
The Spiral in the center of Slender’s face can hypnotize it’s victims. In my canon it’s how Slender gains most of it’s proxies
The reason Slender can disturb cameras and cause them to break is because of the electric frequency it admits. Similar to how fungi also admit Electric frequencies and is also source of the strange staticy hiss that tends to admit and follow Slender around
Slenderman is just a fae of sorts [which is just a fancy way of saying fairies], The type of fae that typically kidnap children and eat them. In my HC I kinda like to think that it is considered to be one of the first mythical forest spirits [also implying that Slender is old as balls]
-
Tumblr media
The Drowning / Slendersickness:
The drowning is a form of “Sickness” one can get when being exposed to the entity known as “The Operator” for a long period of time. It gets its name due to the feeling of choking on water and lack of air in your lungs
Normally you’d have to be in contact or near the Operator to contact the drowning however if one is sick with the drowning the drowning can be easily passed onto you with or without knowing it. Another way to get it is if you are marked by the Operator which can give you Stage 2 Of the drowning within the matter of seconds. The sickness originates from Spores that come from The Operator which are a lesser version of the Operator's final stage "The Tower ''. The following symptoms include Violent coughing [to the point of blood], Vomiting, Violent hallucinations, Trouble breathing, Seizures, Violent outbursts / episodes and dissociating. To summarize it, A Lot of the time Sickness slowly but surely eats away at your humanity until you are but a husk of your former self, Causing you to become aggressive and violent towards others. The Operator then feeds off of the conflict and uses it to make it stronger
-
Tumblr media
[Hoody / Brian in the Ark As seen in Entry# 83 At 6:30]
The Ark:
In Later years The Operator managed to make it’s own personal realm, Made to store the souls of those it has killed [or by proxy] and to drive those who enter it insane. Playing hallucinations that are personal to everyone who enters until they either die or find an exit [which is nearly impossible]. The realm as mentioned stores souls of it that have been killed that are being fed on by whatever lies in the pit that resides within the middle of the Ark, These dead victims are often in a paralyzed state where they are unable to move or speak as they slowly but surely melt into the surface of the Ark slowly becoming apart of it. However The Broken are basically souls that the "Ark" isn't able to feed off of since they are impure, Of course the broken are basically just victims of the Operator that have cracks on their body like fragile glass in a way. These souls and bodies are also often use as infinite battery packs for the Operator, Feeding off of the souls makes them more Powerful, The More souls there are the more of a threat it can become
-
Tumblr media
[Example image I drew to help explain it kinda]
The Hivemind
The Operator has more than one variant that all act as a single hive mind sharing the same exact thoughts. The following examples are The Tower, The Drones and Hallucination
The Tower: The Tower is the main source of the hivemind, These variants are basically the "Queen Bees" that pop out smaller versions of themselves to scout for food and return it to the Nest. Towers often borrow themselves deep underground where they cannot be touched, often growing extremely giant, For example they can grow to the size of the statue of liberty before stopping. Their tentacles can connect to the roots of trees which allows them to shift the forest at their command, It's also worth noting that the hivemind all share the same thoughts
Drones: The drones are basically mini clones of the hivemind that are produced so the tower doesn't have to expose itself to the outside world and get injured or killed, Their goal is to collect food until the Tower is ready to bloom. But a lot of the time these drones will hypnotize people into doing their biddings for them which is considered to be the norm nowadays. It's also less stress for the drones incase they do not wish to be discovered by the outside world. Drones can also eventually grow into Towers if they live long enough
Hallucinations: These are as you expect, They're the dones way of messing with your head by haunting you and breaking you mentality. They often appear in hallucinations and aren't the actual drones themselves, The main way to tell the difference between a drone and a hallucination is by the color of their tie. Red means that they are physically there attacking you while black means it's not real
-
Tumblr media
[lazy doodle by me]
The great blooming / The arrival:
this event is pretty straight forward. So the main reason these towers need to collect so much food and souls is so that they can bloom, Their heads unraveling to reveal a black rose that shoots out a giant cloud of spores that will infect those whoever breathes the spores in. These spores have the regular side effects such as the drowning, However those who are infected with the Tower's Spores are a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. If one is infected long enough their heads will implode into a flower and spread more spores around them

Eli and Stiles' jeep
I've been thinking recently and I have a few theories about Eli in general and why, at the end of the movie, the Sheriff gives him Stiles' jeep.
Number one:
Maybe, since Stiles isn't in the movies and we all know how many people in the Teen Wolf fandom likes him, the director though that it would've been a good idea to put in the movie another character to 'replace' Stiles.
Cause if you look close enough to the two of them, Eli and Stiles have so many similarities or even scenes in common.
Eli, as we all well know, have the same sarcasm style as Stiles (and let me say, no he didn't take it from Peter even tho he is sarcastic too. Peter is way more passive aggressive with his tongue)
Eli has a very similiar fashion style to Stiles (maybe they even wear some clothes that are the same - but I haven't investigated that so this is all an hypothesis)
Do you remember the famous flashback Stiles had while he explained how he helped Derek evade the FBI's scanners and radars? Well, after he explained it 'wrong' Derek corrected him, reminding him how he had to be carried out by Derek cause he shot his foot. And that same scheme of action -Derek carrying Stiles around while he whines in pain - comes back in the movie. Derek carrying Eli the same way after he sprained his ankle and whining to his father to put him down.
They also act very similiar if not the same. The expressiveness, the exaggerated hands gestures, the 'let me say this crap in the wrong moment' kinda attitude and also - MAYBE - they both go after a love intereste that doesn't reciprocate their love. (When Eli is in the jeep at the red light he sees a girl in the car next to him and prepare to act all cool - but fails...)
How they both cannot play lacrosse for the life of them or if you wanna say it another way, how they kinda suck at it. (I'm not gonna elaborate further, they have some problems with that game and I'll let that be) and how they both somehow managed to score a point during a game when initially, they weren't even supposed to be on the field that day.
They both have an innate awkwardness with multiple people around, especially if they don't know these people or if they feel like these people doesn't like or approve of them somehow (this could be a whole another post itself, maybe it'll be...)
How they are both raised by single fathers (or at least, that how it seems for Eli, since we know nothing about the mother)
And lastly for this round, how they both are 'insanely' attached to that jeep (Eli cause he wanna 'play around' with his father knowing that the man have 'complicated feelings' about the jeep. Stiles cause it was his mother's and how he keeps reparing it as best as he can throughout the whole show)
So, maybe he was put in the movie to fill Stiles' absence?
Number two:
Whether or not Eli was put in the show to replace Stiles' type of character and have a consistency with characteristics and personality portrait by both, why did they make him Derek's son?
Because they could've made him Peter's son as well, or Chris' cousin even - if they pushed it that far - and also, couldn't he simply be a teenager who ends up involved with the nogitsune, for all another set of reasons?
Making him Derek's son, even if it could simply be the easy way out to add Eli, has to have some meaning somehow, or at least i personally hope and believe so.
Cause maybe Eli is there to tell us something or confirm something else:
Maybe Eli, who's so similar to Stiles, has been made as Derek's son to show us how - somehow and maybe - Stiles was in contact with him while he grow up and that could explain their similarities.
Maybe Eli is 'living proof' of Stiles being Derek's anchor (as it was confirmed in a script of an episode that later was changed due to difficulties with scheduling the actors) and how he - Stiles - could've had a significant impact in Eli's life, either through Derek's stories of him or Stiles being actively present.
Maybe Eli - detaching the argument from Stiles - could mean the second possibility that Derek has to be a 'good role model', which he wasn't for Scott, Isacc, Boys and Erica (despite the fact he did his best in the only way he knew, he surely looked as 'not someone you would wanna learn from' )
Maybe Eli, destipe all odds, could just be... Eli!
But still, it remains strange to me how our good little Eli is so much like Stiles and also Derek's son, cause we - shippers and non-shippers - all know that these two characters clearly had something going on...
Number three:
Leaving out the why 'Derek's son' and why 'Stiles' copy', as we all know at the end of the movie the Sheriff gives Eli the jeep, but why?
We all know how madly in love Stiles is with the jeep and how it belonged to his dear mother before being his and the Sheriff was there seeing both of them running around the city with the old thing.
It leaves me perplexed how Noah - the Sheriff - decided to give the beloved jeep to Eli after his father died, but at the same time it makes very much sense. Let me explain.
There are a few reasons of why it leaves me perplexed and with many questions, which range is pretty vast.
Why giving the jeep 'away' after it belonged to the Stilinski family for +30 years?
Does Stiles knows about this?
Is Stiles never going to drive it again or he decided to leave the jeep behind? (To which I say, why would he ever do that after he didn't give up on it when it broke down in the middle of the desert, in mexico)
But with this said, if you look at it from another prospective it makes quite sense.
Why Noah 'gave away' - or to better say, gave to someone else - the only thing he had left of his wife and son (since Stiles is away for the majority of the time due to his work probably)?
Did Noah gave it to Derek to help him cope with Stiles being away? (If so, how come Noah knows something or, when he spoke to Eli during Derek's funeral, did he lie when he said "Derek towed it in", without saying that he gave it to Derek himself or did he simply omitted that part ?)
Noah gave the jeep to Stiles after his mother died, he gave his son something to hold onto while the grieved the loss of his mother, while also giving him something to remember her. The jeep is basically the symbol - if you wanna be poetic about this, which I'll be - of his mother's love for him.
It's the only piece left of her that actually serves a purpose and not only something which function is to remember someone who died (like it could be a photo or a ring).
Stiles takes care of the jeep like it's a living thing cause it's the only thing in the world he has of his mother, a mother who in the last moments of her life, couldn't even remember or recognize her own son. So Stiles lives her memories through the jeep and within it, that's why he never left it for anything, not a single reason was strong enough to his ears to make him leave it behind. Cause in the end it would mean leave his mother also behind, which he doesn't want to do.
And then, Stiles is gone to live the FBI agent life and the jeep ends up in Derek's hands who puts it all back together - maybe with something more strong that duct tape - and Noah is fully aware of this and how, the big old scary wolf, decided to take upon himself to repair the old thing that Stiles loved and treasured so much during his whole life.
Then the jeep is back to function and Eli has some fun with it, despite - or maybe in spite of - knowing about:
Your father had complicated feelings about that jeep
(Said by Noah)
And that:
He hated that jeep
(Said by Eli)
Because in the end, despite these sentences are said at the end of the movie, Eli knew about it anyway. Somehow he did.
Eli knew and kept getting the jeep, maybe without his father even knowing about it at times.
(And then Noah would call Derek about it, just like we saw in the movie.)
And when Eli is the one grieving the loss of his father, the only parent he probably ever knew in his whole life, Noah does it again. He gives the jeep to someone who's grieving the loss of a beloved and cared member of their family.
Stiles' mother was the first owner of the jeep, the one who chose it among who knows how many other cars, and it helped Stiles with his grief when she died.
Derek towed the jeep in and managed to fix it despite all odds and the tons of duct tape Stiles had put on it and when he died, the jeep passed to Eli in order to help him with his own grief.
Both times Noah was the one who gave the jeep to the one in pain, was the one who understood grief better than most and knew how to help and was the one who knew about it all.
So yeah, somehow to me, it does make sense.
The jeep is the "grief-helper" and Noah knows about it all.
Number four:
The meaning of the jeep itself is also very fascinating, especially if you look at it poetically and also how Noah is, somehow, always the deliverer.
Like I said before, maybe it's really about the jeep itself and what it represents to the people who drives it (Stiles and Eli). Because for both it's a reminder of someone who they loved tremendously and that are now gone (Stiles' mother and Derek).
Also there's Noah.
Noah, man of justice and single father, that gives the jeep to children/teenagers who lost their parents, cause somehow Noah knows the value of the jeep, or better what people makes it when they know its story.
(Somehow I managed to merge a bit of this theory with the third one, in fact they are pretty connected)
And this is it.
Thank you for have read so far! (And sorry if there are any errors, english is not my first language)
- let me know if you have questions and maybe also what you think, if you want my inbox is open for everything and always remember this is just what I think also, all the sentences in blue could be a post on their own, so let me know if you'd like that!-

So, as a huge fan of the original Trigun my bestie @jewishdragon suggested we watch some Trigun Stampede together since I got them to watch OG Trigun.
We watched two episodes together.
Firstly, the most important thing:
If you like Trigun Stampede you will absolutely LOVE OG Trigun. I promise you this. It’s not as compressed and really draws you in.
My bestie compared it to Legend of Korra vs the original Avatar the Last Airbender where the original had much longer seasons so could stretch out the story and make it more in depth.
Here’s my impressions:
Overall:
Its kinda between okay and good, not as amazing as the original but I like it well enough. I can see how folks who didnt see the original got hooked. I do miss the whole insurance ladies thing, reporters is super common and that gave a unique aspect that was very fun. Also the new variety of creatures introduced is fantastic as is the redesign of the plants.
More detailed:
So the start surprised me because it removes a lot of the mystery and suspense in the original. One fun thing about the original is that you have to accept Vash as he is and just guess why he has this terrible reputation even though he is such a wholesome fella. I also miss how the prosthetic arm was a surprise in the original, and it’s reveal was used to make you wonder what else he is hiding.
I do like that his peace loving ways remained the same, as well as his insane skill he plays off as luck, but I think it’s made a little too obvious early on that this is definitely skill, where as again in the original while he is definitely skilled with a gun you don’t realize how good until he pulls off more shocking feats later on. I feel like they tried to compress too much story into a short time.
I do miss that Meryl no longer seems confident and competent, but instead is now a recent grad. I think I prefer her being a skilled badass in her own right. Not to say this version is bad, just that I prefer it the other way. Her personality still seems fairly similar… But where is Millie?
The fight at the town felt a bit rushed and didn’t have the same depth as the original, but was still really fun. They gave a new twist on the conflict that wasn’t bad. At least Vash mentioned a love of donuts, even if the original did more of a show, not tell regarding that.
Fun to watch. Will finish, then probably watch the original again.

Alright it’s tomorrow I watched the first 2 go rush dub episodes and here’s what my thoughts are - from a huge sevens fan who only has seen a few clips, tumblr posts, and the cat episode before watching
I also watched this with my sister, who greatly dislikes Yu-Gi-Oh! Bridge content. It was a joy having to also explain to her Yes You Can Draw Multiple Cards And All Of This Is Legal Play. A joy to watch from that alone
Episode 1 and I actually really like Yudias? I thought I’d get annoyed since he’s an alien and not an ohdo but he’s been the best part of this show so far. I love how dramatic both he and the voice actor are when doing literally anything ever. He’s insane in the way which reminds me of the drama in Yu-Gi-Ohs past. Also he’s just funny. I laughed at him a lot more than I expected, especially with him and the Velgears. Solid 8/10 character, would belong in any other Yugioh perfectly and his dub voice actor actually kills it at being Yudias (10/10 on va-ing)
Now I was weary of Yuhi. Before knowing anything about Go Rush I told myself I’d be a Yuhi stan. But no he’s kinda annoying? Like idk if it’s a translation thing but he just so fucking annoying whenever he talks. I think the dubbing plays a part of that too though; I’ve played stuff with his va (ntwewy) and though he sounded way to monotone but this feels like he’s exaggerating every sentence in the worst way possible. I like his design and his weird alien hair but unfortunately that’s about it? Like 4/10 probably better in sub I hate hearing him
Yuamu is almost good. I almost like her. Her dub voice feels way too high pitch but that’s not even my main problem and I don’t know what is. I liked her before watching (especially her hair, love the gradient and bangs) but she just feels…boring? Like she’s just here to explain how to play and has one part in the second episode which I find annoying but I’ll get to that later. Overall 6/10 nothing too wrong with her and her voice only annoys me a little (her voice actress would do a great Yuna though tbh)
I don’t really have any notes about the plot. I think it’s funny how the Ohdos say there’s a the smartest people alive for the sake of their livelihood, I like the velgears, the bit with Yudias just having booster packs was funny, I really like Yudias. Nothing wrong with it. Overall like 7/10 episode. Sevens had a better starting episode but I didn’t expect anything else
(also theme “song” was just as boring as sevens BUT THEY SAY THE NAME OF THE SHOW! Actually blew my mind the first time I have low standards)
Episode 2 is actually pretty fun. I like Yudias reminiscing about the war through a card, I like the secrecy (wait it’s called the MIK originally? Honestly I can’t be mad at the change two 3 letter organization is a bit confusing), and Manabu and Nyandestar are a pretty fun duo!
Manabu is a silly guy. I already liked him out of pity before but he’s just cool. I like his design and voice and him as a character overall. I thought him just saying no to dueling at first was really funny (paused the episode around that point and pointed out to my sister how the question “what if I just say no to duel” finally got answered) and I think it’s a really cute detail how his disguise it just Gakuto. 7/10 character would be higher but MADDOX SOGETSU? Bad name me and my sister just started calling him Matthew because that’s a better name. (Alternate better names include Mason, Morgan, Matt, Mark, any M name)
Nyandestar is fun! Meowdestar is a fine change to her name, it makes sense but I will never fucking call her that. She’s just fun, that’s about it! Her and Manabu are like team rocket but she’s both James and meowth. No complaints 9/10 I like cats.
Idk what isn’t a translation change, but the conversation with a disguised Manabu and Yuamu made me feel…mad? Annoyed? Idk but saying a man is faking a pet snake because snake aren’t slimy and are actually reptiles is such a nickpicking thing I would hate to be in her presence. ALSO THE OHDO’S INHERITED UTS??? NEPO BABIES. Another point against the Ohdo twins.
However, Yudias is a bright light in this dub, his va is doing amazing still and I love his vocal delivery in Yudias’s flashback of leaving his home planet. And from the 10 seconds I saw I like Zwijou enough (I’m not checking the spelling) and his voice actor. Really giving the dead wife trope and I’m curious on how I’ll inevitably hate him later.
Fine episode, 6/10. I’ll probably continue watching just out of principle but probably wouldn’t if I didn’t care for Sevens. Better than I expected tbh would recommend to yugioh watchers as long as they’re used to Yugioh dubs.
also peak logo, might be my favorite and that’s high praise lol anyways goodnight woohoo

Illuminate me on music!, I'm not good at it but I like hearing people talking things I don't know. So idk, start anywhere I wanna learn. Gimme music faces from emily's work
lol there's SO many places i could start. first, let me say that i get so in the weeds with this. you don't need to be me. however, murph and emily are really deliberate with their music placement so even if you don't go super deep, you can start to notice patterns, especially with the super frequently used songs.
when it comes to frequent songs, alli operationslipperypuppet also did a very helpful "hey how concerned should you be" breakdown of some common songs, which i'll link here. i would say if you want to start paying attention, some easy ones to check out and start listening for are the purge, unknown tome, kingshammer, valiant ol' cobb, mee maw's burden, a fate refused, the campaign themes, twinkling lights of galaderon, and a friend for life. all of these are available on spotify, with the exception of kingshammer, and have very consistent uses. (the bahumia theme isn't by emily, but is on spotify). if you want to hear kingshammer, a good use of it is around 50 minutes into c1e80, during hardwon's flashback (ad free, so you might have to go later for ads)
another thing to note is certain songs get very specific meanings when applied to given characters. mee maw's burden and unknown tome are used incredibly consistently throughout bev sr's hell arc. twinkling lights of galaderon and a bastard no more/hardwon takes the wheel (both names have been used) are used throughout hardwon's.
emily also tends to write a lot of location-based music. a lot of cities have their own themes and their own instrumentation. a great example of this is the tsunaire interlude from c3, which has a very unique sound. also for example, the crick tends to have a lot of similar instrumentation. if you listen through the crick album on spotify, you can start to hear it. there's a lot of strings/piano, drums, and a lot of notes are drawn out in a very specific way.
it's very consistent. there are also like 200+ songs written for this podcast at this point, and so knowing every one of them is insane. but if you start to be like "i've heard this song before, where did i hear it" chances are it's in a moment that connects thematically. i can go into a lot more detail about any of this, this kinda became a "hey here's how to start tracking naddpod music" post more than anything and not really about the themes/uses of songs, but! yeah!
some fun little bonus notes of songs that are only used a few times but that i am insane about the repetition of:
a song called "torn apart" is used when moonshine opens the rift to the feywild during the tarrasque fight, and also when the world is breaking apart after the thiala fight and the boobs heal it
"i just want to know you're taken care of" is the song that is played when moonshine tells paw paw to write up her will. it's also played when lydia tells her that she deserves to be heard by her friends and she should tell them about her plans in hell. it's also used in c3 when callie tells foster that she's sorry for not giving him love.
"a memory" is introduced in episode 100 as thiala shows everyone the failed past adventurers and the "wheel of sorrow". it has recently been used in c3 for both references to the boobs and to melora's adventuring party (melora/telaine/aryox)
there is a specific royalty free (i think) choral song that plays when gemma appears at the party, when gemma dies, when jaina almost kills hardwon, and then later when hardwon dies at scarlet montgomery's hands. do with this what you will.
this isn't about a reuse but the song that plays in ep 70 when moonshine and lucanus are talking is called "a miracle child" and i need more people to know that.
i am insane about "a glittering reunion" (from melora and telaine's in 97) on so many levels. telaine is the piano. melora is the strings. i need to lay down.

Random JJK Rant Because I Am Confused and Understand Nothing
I wish I had a better understanding of JJK. I tried to watch season 1 and I got really confused/couldn't stay interested in the plot. Maybe someday I will attempt it again and have a better grasp on what's going on!! Like...how is what they do considered "school?" Why is Gojo so hot? Why does the main pink haired guy have super strength/agility (sorry I forgot his name Ik I'm lameee)? If the uniforms are customizable, why isn't everyone balling out and making coolass uniforms!? Why is the principal of the school's power to animate stuffed animals and will that come into play later on? Why does the scary possession demon guy (Sukana) have so many body parts (and why do people on here think he's hot AF? Please explain this to me so I can be part of the horny Tumblr nonsense properly)?
I feel like I need to watch more in order to get more about the backstories/motivations of all of the female characters. The show is just moving too fast for me and I want a very slow, methodical explanation of absolutely everything. Like MHA moves at a glacial pace sometimes and I love that. The Sports Festival feels a million episodes long and that is *chef's kiss* for me.
Also all of the monsters in JJK are slimy. Which is both a pro and a con depending on how slime-oriented one might feel on any given day.
Here are the things I did like so far:
Gojo being hot and cocky about it. We stan an unbothered king.
I like the plot about the sorcerer with the tie who becomes a businessman and then goes back to sorcery. That was kinda cute! Love the commentary on corporate lifestyle
One of the girls from the sister school wears a suit and I think that's very cool
Everyone has a different power kinda like quirks (!?)
Domain expansion seems cool
Everyone has good hair
There are a lot of emos + goths
The panda. I just enjoy his presence. He seems like the most down to Earth character on this insane show and I appreciate that.
The lost in Paradise song and dancy scene. So well animated!
The beefy guy who keeps asking what kind of women people are into
The guy who has cursed speech because he's cute
Please encourage me to attempt to watch season one all the way through again and to stick with it!! I'm a dumbass and I long to be part of the JJK fun but I haven't hit the point of really enjoying it yet!
