I think I know who the Archivist is, and it's not Jon. (TMAGP SPOILERS AHEAD)
(TLDR: I think it's Celia. Read on to see why!)
So.
I know the title sounds kinda click-baity, and this is gonna be a bit long, but this is such a ground-breaking theory that you'll hopefully want to stick around.
This is just a theory, so I might be wrong, but it would explain a lot.
I listened to TMAGP 29 earlier, and since my sister doesn't listen to TMA/TMAGP but I like to talk to her about it, I was mentioning the whole "It's on the train" thing, and a crazy theory popped in my head. So now I'm here sharing it with you all, so you can discuss it and maybe prove me wrong/right.
Anyways, I'm gonna start with something that might seem confusing at first, but it'll make sense later.
So we all know Celia, right?
Well, it's pretty much confirmed that she's from the TMA universe, but there are still a few things that don't quite make sense.
For example, the 'sleepwalking' thing she does. She'll wake up somewhere with no memory of what happened.
While I've seen some theories explaining it as the TMAGP Celia sharing a body with TMA Celia, it doesn't make much sense to me. Why would the TMAGP Celia still be in there? Wouldn't TMA Celia be able to communicate with her? Why hasn't anyone else mentioned seeing Celia when she 'sleepwalks'? Wouldn't TMAGP Celia have friends that would talk to her? If so, why wouldn't they notice it's not the same Celia?
Anyways, that theory just doesn't make sense to me.
Another thing that will make sense later: We all remember Michael Distortion from TMA, right?
And how his reflection looked different than how he sometimes looked in person?
An Avatar looking different through glass; whether through Sasha's window, or in the reflection of the cafe's window.
That was the thought that made me first come up with this theory.
The other thought was the "It's on the train" bit.
Sam and Celia get on a train to 'follow' the Archivist. Alice, however, sees it on the train with them.
(technically we don't know for certain that it was the Archivist, or if it was in or on top of the train, but it context makes it seem like the Archivist was in the train with them)
Why wouldn't Sam and Celia notice it? It's a monster that's all eyes, how could they miss that? Sure, it might have been hiding, but they likely weren't the only passengers on board. So why didn't the other passengers see it?
Well, what if they do see it, just not it the right way?
Because of the whole 'avatar looking different in windows' thing, what if that's why they don't notice?
Because they're not looking through the window?
Alice is though.
Alice is looking through the window.
She sees it.
What if, the Archivist is in a human form, but Alice can only see it because she's looking through the glass at it?
But who would it be?
Celia.
It's Celia.
Who else could it be?
What if, when she's 'sleepwalking', she's actually in Archivist form?
Sam got Archived, after all. And shortly after that, Celia appeared.
Wouldn't Celia have noticed the Archivist leaving?
Unless she just came to.
And she's so used to it happening, that she isn't bothered by the time she finds Sam.
Who knows how far away she got, after all. Maybe it was only one alley away, maybe it was a few blocks.
She'd have some time to compose herself.
And after that disorienting event, she managed to find her way to the O.I.A.R. and found Sam.
She was in the same area and time-frame the Archivist was there.
It's her.
Another thing: The statement-givers. Aka, the talking corpses. Aka, people that got Archived by the Archivist.
I'll bet that every time it mentions Celia having a 'sleepwalking' episode, it was around the same time that someone got Archived.
I'm not gonna go back through the episodes to see if I'm right on that, but if someone else will, it would be very much appreciated.
How exactly Celia became an Archivist, I don't know.
Maybe when she changed universes the Eye decided to make her its new 'precious little boy girl'. Maybe (if we believe that TMAGP is Somewhere Else) the Archivist part of Jon got stuck in Celia. Maybe she even became an Avatar by herself, who knows! I certainly don't.
Another thing I don't know is whether she'd remember what happens when she's the Archivist.
She seemed surprised to find Sam, after all.
And (if I remember right) she doesn't know how she gets to places while she's 'sleepwalking'.
I also don't know how Jack fits into this, but he's a mystery of his own.
Anyways, feel free to chip in with your own thoughts and criticisms, I could be completely proved wrong next episode after all!

I just rewatched ii s1 (fucked up right?)
im just gonna make a post compiling some barebones concepts that im curious about. cause with the latest reveal, im wondering how much previous stuff might become relevant.
Obviously this was made years ago by a bunch of kids so its possible that most of the details can be disregarded as random bullshit. It does seem like they put a lot of work in creating retcons though so I have reason to believe theyre building off their previous work on purpose but i could be wrong and thats fair. im gonna post about it anyway tho
ii16 spoilers discussed under the cut
Who Mephone created (or rather, didn't create)
Mephone supposedly made every contestant for the show, but there's a couple vague characters.
Fan: weirdly enough he's in a gray area cause he appears as a background character before s2, but he also glitched out in that one episode, so its unlikely he wasnt created by Mephone. But yknow.
Apple: Apple is a fan character who was submitted to the show, and this is addressed in canon. It's possible that mephone made her and the other fan contestants based on whatever the submitters asked?
Bow: she randomly shows up after an ad read. Mephone doesnt seem to even want her to join, but he receives a call from Adam to insist she join. Mephone seems quite resistant to the idea (which would be weird if he made her?) Most interestingly, she's the only one in this list that Mephone couldn't recover.
Dough MIGHT be one mephone didnt create, but it seems pretty likely that Mephone would create him as he was specifically requested by adam to get bow back. Dough does seem like something he'd throw together really quickly to cover his ass
The reason any of this could be relevant is that if they arent created by Mephone, they probably cant be deleted by Cobs.
Adam
Stuff about Adam (the character not the guy) has been kinda quiet lately? He was supposedly the producer of ii, and pays mephone apparently? He clearly has a role to play since he showed up in one of Mephone's memories and seems to be a creation by cobs. So observing his actions in s1 might be valuable, especially since cobs would be able to manipulate the show through him.
Some notable actions of his:
Insisting on Bow being in the show. This is doubly interesting if Bow isn't one of Mephone's creations. She could be an industry plant of some kind?
Telling Mephone to keep 4S out of the season finale. This is supposedly to keep the finale from going crazy. If Mephone had been successful, he wouldve been killed by Mephone 5. Its possible this was on purpose so 4 could be destroyed and replaced
Investing in another season. at the end of s2, despite things going wrong, he tells Mephone they're going to do another season. He sweetens the deal by offering a raise and agreeing to get Mephone an assistant (Toilet). Cobs clearly got invested in this show, so it makes sense he'd encourage more of it from the shadows.
Mephone 4S
Yeah talking about 4S isn't anything new, the fandom's obsessed with him. I am too.
The implications of Mephone4 being in 4S's body never really got explored in s2. I guess they were similar enough that it didn't really matter. But he clearly still has some relevance in the modern series. One of Mephone's memories shows him getting developed as a replacement for 4, and he actually appears in Invitational, Sorta? Clearly Mephone's bothered by the sacrifice he made.
At the very least, the show's reminding us that he existed, so maybe he still does exist? I don't think he's going to necessarily make a comeback or anything but I dunno. It seems like he might be able to talk to Mephone in his head so maybe there's something to that.
Evil Paper
Im just gonna be upfront that I don't have a dissociative disorder and its not my place to talk about how it works or what is good or bad representation so I'm not gonna get super deep into talking about this. I'm just curious if the team has any plans for addressing Evil Paper. They seemed to make an effort into writing Yin Yang more thoughtfully (whether or not they actually succeeded, again, not my say). I could see them giving Paper similar treatment. If they did I doubt it'd be very plot relevant though.
Is the Taco we got the Taco we were supposed to have?
I've actually seen this conversation circulate a little bit already. This sort of debate could apply to any character really, but Taco is perhaps the most interesting example because she's so involved in the latest episodes AND because Brian actually addressed a tweet about this.
Taco behaves like a goofy idiot for the majority of s1, only revealing at the end that she was faking it so she would make it to the end. She specifically says she was "built to win" (the quote Brian addresses), and shows a much more competent side when she actually competes. In fact if it weren't for Bow's interference, Taco would have won the challenge (another case of Bow being weird).
This all seems to imply that Taco may have been intended to win the series by Mephone. Cobs points out to Suitcase and Knife that Mephone had "high hopes" for them, so it's not unreasonable to say that maybe certain characters were liked over others. Mephone never seems to give special treatment openly, but that doesn't mean that when he made certain contestants he didn't at the very least expect them to do well.
What is highly unlikely though is that Taco was created to be a twist villain. This results in Mephone's death after all (though the activity of Bow and Mephone 5 also could be to blame). Especially since he had pressure from Adam to keep things running smoothly, it just wouldn't make sense that Mephone would specifically create someone to toss a wrench in things. Most likely Taco developed like this on her own accord.
But that also raises the question, if she wasn't meant to be a villain, what was she supposed to be? How much of the taco we have now is the Taco that Mephone created? We don't actually see how he reacts to her "reveal" because he's in the middle of running away from 5. But everyone else clearly never saw it coming. OJ specifically comments that this doesn't seem like "the Taco he's been competing with all this time," and while that's written in reference to her reveal, it also could mean she WASNT the Taco he'd been competing with. We do get a hint or two of her true self in previous episodes, but its possible she wasn't ever supposed to be like that.
I think its possible Mephone4 created her as a goofy goober joke character initially, and over time, she changed. She developed into a more tactful and villainous character with her exposure to the contest.
A few things in the most recent episodes might allude to this. One thing being how in ii15 she discusses how she became aware of how much the contest is changing everyone, herself included. Secondly, in ii16 she tells Pickle that at the time she didn't consider how her actions were going to hurt him. This is a really shitty apology and no excuse for it, but it ALSO could mean that at the time, Taco really didn't think about it. In S1, she claims that she was just using him, but we don't know how aware of herself she was back then. Its possible that there was a past version of Taco who wasn't deadset on winning no matter the cost, and being in the game changed her.
Anyway these have been my slopthoughts. It's like 9 pm and ive been writing this for like an hour. Maybe most of this wont get addressed at all in the series, but I figured i might as well compile it down since I just finished s1

I just binged all four episodes, so here are my opinions. Spoilers Ahead
I didn't really like the start of this season, idk it just felt flat to me. Maybe its because of the time jump or the flashbacks, but I was just expecting it to be a bit more fleshed out. I was also surprised by how fast paced this season seems compared to the rest. Its not necessarily bad, just new because it means JJ's stupid ass decisions weren't spaced out over the course of a few episodes lol.
What I really loved about this season was how much screentime Rafe got. Seriously, he was there almost every scene and as a certified Rafe girlie, I was fangirling and squealing every minute. Unlike so many reviews that I'm seeing online, personally, I don't have a problem with Rafe and Sofia. They're literally so cute together and I love how Rafe is so calm with her. I do agree that she seems to be a filler character but at the same time, the writers have given her goals and stuff. I also agree that their relationship seems very unexpected and even in s3, I wasn't ok with how it was introduced. I wish we can get flashbacks and stuff to show their memories together in the previous years (especially when Rafe was building the house or found his dad or when they first met or actually got closer). I just wish we get to see their relationship be more fleshed out and actually get to see when they fell in love.
The only thing I don't like about the whole Sofia x Rafe ship is that I just wish Sofia's background was that she came from an abusive bg similar to rafe. Idk I'm a sucker for when a girl has shitty parents and the guy protects her lol. She does appear to be close to her family but I think her and her dad probably aren't that close or smth cuz of the way she reacts to seeing him. Also, I do think in some scenes, Fiona and Drew could've had better chemistry but most of the time, they're perfect. All this aside, I think Fiona is like the cutest person ever, she's literally so tiny next to Drew, my size kink goes insane.
To be very honest, I don't really care that much about the Pogues. I watch the show for Rafe lol. Buttt, I'm not really vibing with the treasure hunt this season. Idk maybe because they've included supernatural themes in it and I'm just scared they're gonna go down the Riverdale road and destroy their show.
Also, I'm kinda scared to see how they're gonna represent an Arab country. Like from all the trailers and pictures I'm seeing, they're dressed in these really traditional clothes and I'm just really hoping they don't butcher everything and portray what they think Arabs wear. Idk about Morocco, but in most Muslim countries, not everyone wears a turban and a full hijab/niqab lol.
Lastly, I just hope they don't kill Rafe because if Rafe dies, I die. I just know he's gonna get screwed over by the Hollis deal and I hope not. I don't wanna see my lil capitalist daddy hurt or poor or screwed over, just more richer. I'm kinda also dying to see his reaction to Sofia's betrayal. Like so far, he was so kind and all but who knows. I just need to see a little crazy in Rafe this season please.
#OBX#outer banks rafe#outer banks#outer banks spoilers#OBX4#outer banks 4#rafe cameron#also where tf are Rose and Wheezie???#and Barry????#I feel like Barry was a better person to be around than Topper for Rafe lmaoo

Digimon Adventure Week Day 2 - Favourite Digimon Partner
...
...
I'm so sorry! T.T I know there are five mons on here. But I really struggled to choose, even worse than who to pick for favourite Digidestined. And that despite me re-watching the entire season beforehand to help me choose. But by the end of it - I couldn't.
Just like the Digidestined, each of the Digimon are great in their own way. As for the designs, that's of course a matter of taste for each person. So, I put Gomamon and Tentomon on here because of how mega supportive they are to their partners. Each of the Digimon is, but these two more so than the others, encouraging their partners in moments of self-doubt and reassuring them how much they like them. I really like their dynamics with Izzy and Joe. And while I really hate insects and bugs in real life, Tentomon's design and those of his digivolutions have grown on me a bit. And he's too nice not to like, even for insect- and bug-haters. Also, I love Gomamon showing some smarts by getting it and Biyomon out of the Bakemon prison by tricking the guard. Gatomon is on here because I like her design (plus those of all her digivolutions through all seasons of Digimon), backstory, and personality. Agumon and Gabumon are just cool overall, both in designs of their Digivolution trees and their personalities. Okay, though, the entire Koromon pooping everywhere thing is kinda lame. Didn't like that at all.
Now for those I did not include. Patamon... I do love its Digivolution tree designs. But I was severely annoyed how late in the series it evolved ot MagnaAngemon - even after Gatomon evolved to Angewomon, and Gatomon appeared like around episode 40!!! Patamon really got done dirty. I mean, come on, in the second or third last episode of the series is just way, way too late. And yes, MagnaAngemon is crazy strong, but still. I'm sure they could have brought him earlier. Also, I really hate it how much he and T.K. argue. I can understand the time when DemiDevimon tricked T.K., even though I still don't understand how T.K. believed some shady, evil-looking Digimon above the partner who actually sacrificed his bloody life to save everyone. And the arguing afterward, back in the human world? You should think they would be much more harmonious after Angemon sacrificed itself against Devimon. I really don't get it. In Adventure 02 we even learn that T.K. got a near trauma from it! So why all the arguing? Palmon I did not include because out of its Digivolutions, I only really like Lilymon's design. And it is somehow less supportive of Mimi than the other Digimon, like, Palmon is not even trying to keep Mimi from exploiting the Gekomon before Tai and Joe arrive. Her personality in general just doesn't stand out. And Biyomon, I like her Digivolution tree designs, and she sure is loving and cares for Sora. But other than that, her personality doesn't really stand out either.

WELL. it is time for the final tng update (until the movies ig). last night we watched the series finale, "all good things" parts i & ii.
all good things (not differentiating parts):
my main takeaway from this episode is that they somehow managed to bring back tasha yar, only to 1. have her do absolutely nothing 2. die again?? they have killed tasha yar three times. hat trick for dead tasha yar
second takeaway: old people makeup. i couldn't find any gifs for this episode because when you go in the tag they're all just comparisons with picard the show. which IS kind of fun, admittedly. losers in the old people makeup department: riker. winners: beverly. hers was kinda hot ngl. milf.
conceptually this episode kind of fucked. like, three eras of having to be in the same place, coordinating stuff over 4D space via rapid shifting...that's cool. there was a cool episode buried in here somewhere. i think the problem was 1. it took way too long to figure out what was going on 2. the three eras in question were season 1 of tng (bad), season 7 of tng (also bad), and tng 25 bad future. i have lots to say about the bad future in a sec but let's not get distracted. because all of these eras were bad, it wasn't very exciting to be coordinating stuff across them. i TOTALLY understand the temptation to bookend the show by going back to the pilot, but the sad truth is the pilot was AWFUL. q has largely been annoying and the trial was one of his MORE annoying appearances.
on the bad future: worf and riker fighting over deanna being DEAD somehow and us not getting any more information was pretty awful, especially since they sort of seemed to be having a fight about deanna in the present-day too. i don't like them fighting over her but i REALLY thing the deanna/worf was so rushed...riker is normally so chill too, it doesn't make any sense. plus it's absolutely bonkers that picard came back and DIDNT warn deanna she had 5 years to live. come on!!!
if geordi really grew back his eyes bc of the anomaly, why are they blue in the future? they look like prosthetics or something. also can't we just give him brown eyes cmon. also, it's SICK AND DISGUSTING they married him to leah. i like geordi, but his thing w women made liking him difficult, so thanks for reminding us of his absolute WORST moment right as we're saying goodbye to him forever
someone on the aos team did not do their research. romulus was destroyed in 2387, and the last season of tng is in 2370. that means this future era took place in 2395, eight years after romulus was destroyed. it would have been such an easy thing to avoid, too. you could have simply had spock and nero travel back from 2395 instead of 2387. like it's that easy. NOTHING would have to change except a number. this isn't even tng's fault like how could they know what crimes that man would commit. this is all on him. i like the aos movies but girl what the hell
wins for the future: data crazy cat lady. and everyone gaslighting picard. and beverly being soooo hot
the problem w this future is that it doesn't say anything about anyone except "you guys drifted apart without the mission to hold you together and forgot you needed each other." actually, it didn't say that second part, though i wished it had. the episode was also a bit muddied in that respect...like, what did it episode SAY about those three eras, other than "don't stop being friends later"? what did it SAY about picard and his crew? this is the finale, and there weren't any goodbyes or big character moments for anybody except picard, who had to have his big character moment in the fucking farpoint courtroom.
we did get canon worf/deanna and picard/beverly but she TURNED HIM DOWN EARLIER and only started macking on him when she found out she might die (just in time to get herself on the will and no that's not my joke). STAY STRONG...YOU DON'T NEED HIM...beverly crusher, i could be your man.
in a final act of hilarity, at the very end, picard INVITED HIMSELF TO CARDS. while i am always thrilled for poker games, and was feeling a genuine emotion about the last scene being a poker game, the profound silence when picard showed up at the door really dragged me out of it. "you were always welcome" HE LITERALLY TRIED TO DO THIS ONCE AND YOU GUYS THOUGHT IT WAS WEIRD
oh yeah. final note. can't believe they pussied out of shearing jonathan frakes for that flashback section. they just photoshop magicked that shit. it was clever, but it was cowardly
i really wish s7 of tng had been good...we had a few good ones near the beginning but the ones near the end were ALL duds. i could have forgiven so many crimes if we had gone out on a high note. tng WAS very good sometimes. i know they had it in them. unfortunately they generally chose to be ass instead, and as a result tng went out the way it came in: in the very worst courtroom scene in the entire world. rest in pieces.
NEXT TIME: ds9's "tribunal" and "the jem'hadar."

Digimon Tamers - Episode 35
This was basically part two to the last Wham episode. Crazy shit's still going down, but it had a more hopeful ending at least. The visuals were also more striking this time, so I enjoyed this one more overall.
Notes:
FUSION! I did NOT know that this season had digimon-human fusion (jogress?) Guessing this will be a Takato-Guilmon exclusive since he's the only one who's been shown to have a connection to his digimon partner so far. Kinda strange that Guilmon's official ultimate form requires this fusion?? (In future video games, will the player character fuse with him?) Interested to see where they take this.
I was surprised we didn't get a reaction to Takato's digivice shattering, but I guess they have more pertinent matters to attend to. I guess Takato doesn't need it to do tamer-y things? Maybe this just means he can't scan cards or look at digimon data
I appreciated the opening scene with Jian's mom crying about Shiuchon. Little moments like that flesh out the characters and up the stakes. I hate it when parents are just omitted from stories cuz it makes it seem like they don't give a crap about their kids. (Side note: her chunky sweater/skinny jeans combo is cute lol. Ahead of her time!)
So Megidramon's existence puts the digital world in jeopardy because he's just not supposed to exist? Was that ever a thing in the past with bad digivolutions cuz I don't think so...
Megidramon was very badass in this episode. There was a lot of detail put into him like his acidic drool that made him fun to watch. Felt very Jurassic Park on steroids. (Though looking at his snout, he's more dragon-like than dino-like).
Makuramon shows up just to be killed lol. I call BS with Beelzebumon gaining other digimon's powers after he loads them. Renamon loaded a bunch of digimon and we never saw her gain any powers from that...He even had Taomon and Rapidmon's characteristics bulging out of him which was a pretty cool effect.
Pretty fishy how in the last episode Kyubimon was exhausted and incapable of digivolution but now all the sudden she's like "JK" and digivolves without issue. I get that times are desperate, but exhaustion is exhaustion.
One thing that's super confusing to me is that...didn't we see Takato design Guilmon's previous digivolutions? Like with pencil and paper? So where the heck did Megidramon come from? Did he just picture the design in his mind? Although that doesn't seem right since he was disturbed by his appearance. I don't really get the logic here...
Beelzebumon was too screamy in this episode lol. I was like "alright already, we GET IT"
I didn't expect this anime to pull out the dramatic slow-mo. You don't see slow-mo a lot in anime, especially not slowed down voices. It's honestly been done for comedy in western animation so many times that I can't take it seriously anymore.
Ew, they did one of my least favorite anime cliches which is the fish eye lens scene. I just think it always looks really dumb.
You gotta have the naked transformation sequence. Not often we get a male one, so that's refreshing (not that I want to see Takato naked lol).
New insert song yaaaay! Dramatic moments are always made better by a good ole insert song. I like Dukemon's design a lot, even though it's a little generic. The color palette is nice and I like that he uses a lance like he's a jousting knight. The lil Guilmon hat/visor is pretty funny.

Ideas pt 18 Blue=Concepts Pink=episode ideas
MORE IDEAS if EAH got a reboot!
People who I want to stay single at the end of the show:
Cerise (I feel that she is a mechanic but becomes a veterinarian)
Cedar (She definitely has her fair share of crushes. I want an episode where Apple and Cupid try to help her tell them she likes them [There are a lot so every time she fails they move on to the next one] in crazy weird romantic ways)
Cupid (She finally starts to have another crush on a different guy who happens to like her back at the end. They do get together but the show doesn't show it.)
Maybe Kitty (I typed this after the Wonderland high thing and I can just imagine Chase teasing Kitty and making her blush, so I now kinda ship them! I feel that Kitty doesn't really want or worry about relationships b/c she fears she'll have a bad one and end up like her parents and Chase constantly comforts and reassures her that won't happen.) I want her to used to have a crush on him but quickly got over it but then started to have a dynamic of him teasing and flirting with her and she's just rejecting him over and over lol. They're like ladybug and Chat noir!
Maybe Ramona (She's totally a Lesbian. But Hunter used to have a crush on her when they were kids. I want an episode where after the episode she makes her appearance for Sparrow Hood to meet her has a huge crush on her and flirts with her, trying to impress her the whole time without knowing she's gay. But in the end when he finds out (Hunter tried to tell the whole time but every time Sarrow interrupts him like "I know! I should..." "I've been trying to tell you she's" "She's blab blab" "No! Sparrow get back- anddd he's gone.") and just shrugs his shoulders and walks away saying "All the ladies want me" or "There's other fish in the sea" just something kinda playboy like and then a swarm of girls comes out of nowhere fangirling over him and he just winks at the screen and walks away lol. BECAUSE HE SUPPORTS [I feel a lot of people might think he's gay at first. But he doesn't mind.]
Maddie (No one deserves her. She also didn't have a crush on Chase but understood the hype. He's like a little brother to her.)
Lizzie (Do I need to say anymore? SHE IS A BOSS! ON HER WAY TO THE TOP! Not only will she be the Queen of Wonderland but have her own FASHION EMPIRE at her young age!
Brair (I want her to focus on herself)
Blondie. (She strikes me as someone who's focused on her career.)

The Lizzie Bennet Diaries
Everyone who knows me knows how obsessed I am over P&P so when I read a Tumblr thread on Pinterest that said that this is one of the best things in the world... okay I didn't watch it instantly cos I'm prejudiced (badumtss) BUT a few years later, I found another thread that says it's amazing and people should go watch it and I'm bored so I thought, "alright?? maybe i WILL watch it????". And I did and it was the BEST FREAKING THING IN THE WORLD OMG.
I've watched the BBC and 2005 version and while I loooveee both versions equally in my heart of hearts, I think this version perfectly encapsulates my idea of Jane when I read the book. Jane was described in the book by Mrs Hurst and Caroline as "a sweet girl". In fact Jane was the only one in the Bennet family who received a compliment from both their judgy ass which further proves just how sweet Jane really was. And the actress totally nailed it, she was so soft-spoken and calm and good natured, when you see her all you can really think about was, "Oh my God she's so sweet".
Charles Bingley/Bing Lee's charac is much more nuanced in here and when you look at what he did to Jane in a modern eye, you might dislike him just a bit honestly. But I guess in this version, their feelings were mutual and they both knew that. In the regency era versions, he didn't know Jane's feelings because she's shy and didn't show it much and along with her family being soooo embarrassing, he was persuaded to end the "engagement" by the people whose opinions he hold in the highest favor. He fully redeemed himself tho the moment he knew and in all the versions, you just couldn't help but like him in the end cos he's an overall good guy and good person just surrounded by judgmental people lol.
Wickham's a first class a-hole, I hated him before but now I LOATHE him, he's a HORRIBLE person hope he dies a most painful death. Meanwhile Lydia, I looove her in this version. I can't believe I'd say this really, it sounds so crazy but yes I do love Lydia. I think she was a victim of her choices but she shouldn't be held majorly accountable for that. She's a kid, she didn't know better but when she did, she gained a lot of wisdom from it.
Lizzie couldn't be more relatable—she was relatable before but now with all the technology, it feels like she's speaking for my soul. Meanwhile Darcy is soooo dreamy, and much much more hilarious. Everytime he shows up I just wanna rewatch it all over again. He's also more intimidating tho in a sense probably bcs of his limited screen time and how the vlogs are structured to only see what Lizzie wants you to see and only what is sometimes taken from a camera "candidly". No other point of views and no other camera points that might suggest otherwise. The whole vlog was totally Lizzie, it's like travelling inside her mind and only knowing people through her. It was definitely a whole other experience to which I absolutely loveeee as I do like to experience P&P in different ways.
Kinda sad that I didn't get to watch it at the height of its popularity tho cos I can only imagine the hype?? the chaos?? the excitement for the next episode next week?? the intensity of waiting for Mr. Darcy to finally appear on screen?? It must've been sooo crazyyyyy
Overall it was 10/10 I can't believe I finished it in 2 DAYS WTHHHH I WAS SO OBSESSED

Thoghts from watching the ATLA live action!
Episode 4:
Holy shit Iroh and Aang are cellmates this is such a fun scenario!! Gives some strong Crossroads of Destiny vibes, ngl. Also, the crytals look cool!!!
Oh I'm genuinely so glad they didn't just... Move on from Sai working for the Fire Nation, I was genuinely doubtful they were gonna adress it tbh! Now I just need a Sokka and Jet confrontation and I'll be happy, though, that isn't likely to happen unfortunately.
I really do like what they did with Sai and Sokka though- this kinda feels like him starting a pattern of trying to look for replacement father figures tbh, which really fits with how much more visibly he's fixated on being like Hakoda here. It's sad and sweet at the same time, and I'm really interested to see how they'll write Hakoda!
Fuck yes, spy Zuko!!!
Smh kid Bumi isn't crazy enough, is it really THAT hard to find just. A completely unhinged looking kid?? Nah obviously I'm joking, he's cute haha it obviously wouldn't have been possible to have the visual similarities we see in the og so just having his unique laugh to identify him by works!
Idk what was up with Iroh's writing in the first episodes, he felt really foreign to me but over time he genuinely finally starts feeling like Iroh so I'm glad they got into the groove with his writing! He's still a bit too open which feels weird, but he uses more veiled language now while doing it so it works better. Also? I heard they used Leaves From The Vine, but damn it still got me!!
Haha YES, this was genuinely a change I always wanted: Sokka and Katara in the tunnels instead of Aang and Katara!! Not for shipping reasons, because that's gross, but because I always felt it would've been real funny haha
Wait are they fr sending Iroh to face punishment? I was sure he was next to Aang as part of a White Lotus thing or just until Bumi heard he was there!! I'm guessing he... Still doesn't know? I'm guessing this whole thing is a spin on when Iroh gets taken from the hot springs, but Bumi being directly in charge only works if it's all a ploy or if he hasn't been informed that they have the Dragon of the West in captivity- which would be wild!! Unless he's busy constructing puzzles for Aang lmao idk
So like. Given that the siblings are going to the tunnels, Aang is meeting Bumi, and Zuko is rescuing Iroh... I guess we just drop the Jet plot until next season??? Man, what a bummer. That was too short and didn't even hit all the high point of meeting him in the original. Like, they honestly could've had him try to appear and try to atone by trying to help and getting rejected and yelled at, but instead he just confirms his evil plans and is never seen again? Like, literally, what did he even do here? Despite being on screen for longer, his betrayal somehow doesn't seem as impactful because there's no time for Katara to process it last episode, like. Again, I hope to god this is a thing she has to kinda wrestle with a lot next season- I also kinda hope Sokka somehow independently meets him with Aang again and doesn't realize that the guy from the cart is the same guy Katara talked about, and that these two get to have their own Jet disappointment because again!! So far taking Sokka out of the Jet plot is genuinely the biggest issue I have with this show. Katara's arc seems to be headed to the same place albeit in a very different pace, but this is something that would be INCREDIBLY hard to fix. Like? I get it, I understand that what Sokka learns in that episode doesn't have to happen there, but. It's genuinely one of my favorite episodes because of how both of the water tribe siblings get to learn something from interacting with this charming duplicitous guy, and taking out Sokka's growth kinda just? Leaves us with Katara getting betrayed while bottling it up (likely until either they meet again or until Zuko's actions remind her of it- it'll probably also be important with Hama), it kinda just becomes "Katara gets a crush on a bad boy and gets hurt" which? Idk it feels weird, it was presented differently here and she feels much less silly and willfully blind because for the longest time no one tells her to be wary of Jet but. I still don't like how ultimately Jet was just there to disappoint Katara and interact with literally no one else. I mean!! I love Jet, of course I too had a crush on him, he's iconic and important and of course he had to be a part of this, but. Truly, they minimized the hurt he causes so much that I just kinda feel like he might as well not have appeared with how little he ultimately impacted things, at least for right now. I'm really hoping he gets an expanded role next season that helps to make up for how much his appearance was minimized, or that we see this have a tangible impact on Katara, because as it stands... It was just kind of a disappointing cameo appearance rather than something that felt like it needed to be there. Anyway this is all more about last episode but I still held out a bit of hope for it to be resolved better so. To see that Sai and Teo get to face a bit of emotional fallout set up last episode because they get to further the plot, while Jet just vanishes... It sucks, and it hurts, and I hate it. Anyway, onwards, I guess!
Teo has genuinely been changed so much he straight up isn't the same character anymore, and it's... Strange. I don't really like it too much, tbh. He's like, EXTREMELY cynical and eager to fight, and it's such a strange change from a character whose entire purpose originally was to kind of mirror Aang and help nudge him along on his journey. I genuinely can't tell if they just thought that living in a city under constant threat rather than literally amongst the clouds would mean he would kind of have to be different, or if it was an attempt to make him cooler or whatever. Regardless, I don't like it, tbh he kinda pisses me off a bit? He's SO serious and angry all the time and it just. Feels weird when he only resembles his original counterpart through his name and use of a wheelchair. Everything else about him is nowhere to be seen! If you compare his situation to Katara, it might seem similar on the surface- except, Katara is a main character who clearly still has a character arc ahead of her (and also all of her defining traits are still there), while Teo shows up like twice. It's kinda vital that he isn't too complex and keeps his original personality because he doesn't have the same leeway to grow that a main character does, otherwise he risks just becoming someone else entirely... And that's what happened. The thoughtful and cheerful boy with an interest in Air Nomad culture is all but gone, replaced with yet another angry warrior, and? While I get how it's probably more likely for him to become the latter, I also very much miss and lament the loss of the former. Sai is very much the stronger adaptational character of the two, and he's the only one of the two to get to have a real impact on one of the Gaang. It... Sucks.
Lmao Flopsy my beloved what have they done to you?? Guess they ran out of CG budget haha
Oh, this Bumi has a very strange and uncomfortable vibe, so like... Perfect! He was always gonna be hard to translate to live action, and I saw a lot of people dislike how they portray him here, and I kind of get it? He's not very likeable, he feels like kind of a bad ruler and a bit cruel... And that actually tracks? I read the showrunner said he wanted to focus a bit more on how upset Bumi is about Aang disappearing and reappearing in his life, and that underlying anger absolutely comes through. Bumi is... Kind of scary, and as someone that has a rep for being The Crazy King or whatever, I feel like that perfectly fits!
Jet!!!! He's here!! Kinda feels like it might be a dream ngl, it just has that vibe? Or maybe that's just how happy I am to see they didn't abandon him haha. He's... Still only gonna interact with Katara though, isn't he? :(
Uh? So, I'm gonna have to be filled in on when Katara learned physical self defense. It was very cool, but it felt like nothing I've ever seen her to do before. Anyway real cool moment for Katara there overall, it was great! It in particular really stands out against the cartoon in the way she manifests her anger. She's like. Definitely angry here, and it's very clear she's also just once again tempering it and moving on- no time for this, no time for Jet, no time for fighting... And at some point all of those repressed feelings are gonna have to overflow. It was a very cool scene, but it was, once again, sorely lacking Sokka's presence. More than anything, I just. Wish for these two to meet independent of Katara and get to have their own clash. Honestly? I feel like they could potentially catch two birds with one stone by having the Gaang split up earlier next season, specifically, have Suki help them get to Ba Sing Se earlier so get to meet Jet or something. Idk, the idea isn't fully formed, but it definitely feels like the most likely point for them to get to meet and it would make me really happy for everyone to have a bit more interaction with Suki before she formally joins them in the last season. Like? Maybe Jet and Sokka meeting could be Sokka's story in a Tales of Ba Sing Se sort of episode? As much as I love the haiku club... It's almost certainly getting the chop- also, I heard that the biggest and most important plotpoint of that episode already gets revealed in this first season so? It's likely just not gonna happen, or if it does it might just be like, a bonus one for fun idk. Regardless that season has a lot of "filler" that can easily be dropped, and Jet and Sokka meeting feels to important to just. Never happen, and!! I want it so badly, fuck!!
Yo ngl Zuko's helmet do be making him look like Melonlord
Lol prompting a conflicted Zuko with "well? Are you just gonna stand there? What are you gonna do?" Is fucking hysterical
Bumi is fr so pathetic, fucking no one likes his jokes but his the king and having people have to laugh this time is genuinely hilarious. It also makes everything so much more menacing!! I get why people didn't like what they did with him, but I think it's an interesting direction to go with his character and I think they handle it really well. If anything? Having to stick to some of the original characteristics and reusing the jokes really hurt his momentum imo
The Omashu story looks beautiful!! Ngl I don't really understand why they changed it to a lesbian couple? It literally changes nothing, their genders doesn't matter to the story, so I genuinely don't care one way or the other, it's just... A strange choice to make haha
The singing nomads are always fun, though in my ideal Secret Tunnel scenario they go in with Sokka and Katara and annoy the shit out of Sokka. Miss them already. Also, I do miss Dee Bradley Baker- just. In general, but also, can't help but think of him when I see these guys- it's his song after all!
Forgot to comment on Iroh taking the Lotus tile last episode, so I'm happy to see it back in action here! Do kinda wonder how June will track him in the last season without his smelly sandal though haha
Really cool scene with the rock candy!! Obviously the original way it's presented is off the table, and they instead made it into a really beautiful little action scene!
Ngl something about seeing Zuko pick up a White Lotus got me choked up a bit. The hesitation with Zuko between Aang and Iroh didn't really feel like that big a deal here given the different circumstances behind Iroh's capture, I mean? Obviously Zuko was never gonna abandon Iroh after he sacrificed himself, so not going after Aang here wasn't really that much of a sacrifice on his part in comparison, just... Basic decency to return the favor, which kinda lessened the impact and you might as well miss there was even a conflict with how little of the episode he spends thinking of Aang, but. I like it, it's sweet to see their connection here anyway. Definitely does feel like Zuko is a bit too close to redemption at all times during this season though, Iroh is being WAY too obvious about his true allegiances imo, but tbf... I doubt anyone could go into ATLA blind nowadays, and maybe making Iroh more transparent and Zuko more sympathetic is a way to later drop the shoe ever harder during Crossroads of Destiny- like, THAT'S how much of a wrong choice he makes there, it goes against his entire characterization thus far... But the bait Azula used was too alluring. Or something like that, idk, maybe it's just. Tough to write such a beloved character back into his worst version? Idk, I kinda get why people wish he was less obviously on a path to redemption but frankly? I think it's just an Iroh issue again, they really seem to struggle with writing him to appear silly or without depth as the first season kinda necessitates, and his unwavering support and pushing for sure make Zuko a lot less lost here. I wish he got to be a bit more, but again: this show was the first time in a long time, maybe ever, that ATLA managed to make me be afraid of Zuko, so. Idk. Mixed feelings- he's not all sugar here AT ALL, but he definitely still is a bit too much for this point. I genuinely do think that Iroh's ability to reach him and be straight to the point needed to be heavily nerfed tbh, I think that's the main issue with Zuko's appearing too sympathetic here
Okay, so. Genuinely not exaggerating here when I say: Sokka saying he has a hunch stole my breath away, made me choke up, and tears welled up in my eyes. Like! THAT'S how taken off guard I was with them bringing back my favorite underrated Sokka trait: his instincts. The time it took me to write this was enough for me to genuinely just start crying while thinking about it, like. Genuinely I'm so happy and relieved this managed to find its way into the show, I'm. A bit overwhelmed rn and I don't know that I can put my feelings about it into words rn so I'll be back when I have something else to say, for now: I am RIDICULOUSLY happy with this development, it means a lot to me personally.
Wait I'm immediately back: this is strange, right? The initial utter joy blinded me but this is like... The exact opposite of what Sokka initially does in this episode, this is kinda funny lmao
I think I can pretty confidently say by now that Sokka and Katara's relationship is my favorite part of this adaptation. They always bring out both the best and the worst in each other, their scenes are always bot fun and also just... Cathartic to me in a personal way because they always manage to hit everything that feels missing until they go at each other. It's genuinely perfect, I love them so much. Like? Yeah Ian Ousley is possibly a stinky liar, but he and Kiawentiio have a great rapport and work really well as the unique twists of their characters that this LA is going for. I really, really enjoy them.
Istg Sokka in the cave is just spitting out one pop culture reference after another and it's genuinely bizarre
So, Iroh was provoking that guy to let him take out his anger, right? That's genuinely the only way I can read that scene for it to make sense. Sympathizing with the guy wouldn't have helped, he wouldn't care that Iroh knows he was wrong and that he only realized it when he lost someone too, so he just let him vent by playing the bad guy ig? Idk what I think of that scene tbh- Iroh being a hated general is something that needed a bit more fleshing out for Zuko taking the throne to make sense, so I don't hate it, but. It was weird to see Iroh be so obstinate in the face of someone who was clearly hurting because of his actions. The expected Iroh move would have been some wise words any sympathy that leads to bonding and healing, and it felt SO weird that it just. Didn't happen, and yet... At the same time, I kinda got it, and I do really appreciate this scene, even if the characterization feels off in a way- which, tbh, most Iroh scenes do. It wasn't a bad one, it just felt really strange to keep expecting him to do something and for him to just... Not. Iroh is definitely both the same and yet feels really different and I just. I can't get used to him tbh.
The flashback mourning scene immediately after was also nice, although it was a bit funny how Dallas just looked exactly the same age when it should've been more than three years in the past. Once again Zuko is slightly too sympathetic too early, but at this point I kinda think that's just what they're going for- they're doubling down on showing him as misguided and wilfully blind rather than cruel, which is a realization you do come to during the first season of the original to be fair... It's just a lot less subtle about it here, with much less time where you just view Zuko as The Enemy. It's very clearly from very early on that this is also his journey, and as that gives me more Zuko... I don't even necessarily hate it lmao, it's just different. I think that so long as they keep being consistent about why Zuko is still refusing to "turn good" it can work really well, and ig with Azula coming early... They increased the pressure on him from both sides, which is actually kinda interesting and something i didn't realize until literally just now. Honestly I think half of the point of me writing these is just... To help me get my thoughts in order, to help me see the show for itself rather than just as a cut down version of the story, and honestly? So far it's actually working really well in terms of helping me come to terms and appreciating some of the weirder/bigger changes they make. Still the one unforgivable change is no Jet and Sokka confrontation- I'm glad they didn't entirely drop what Sokka learns there, but. I just love that episode so much that it being changed so severely really hurts in a way I can't reasonably reconcile. Everything they did and all the reasons for it makes sense, and it all works really well in the end but. It's still just a terrible personal loss haha
I do think that ultimately Katara was right and said something Sokka needed to hear (he's not his dad) and I don't like how it was brushed under the rug a bit but I guess he's not really ready to confront that quite yet- that'll probably come when he reunites with Hakoda, huh?
Oh my god it's happening again!!! Istg it feels like some characters just. Straight up accidentally exist in the wrong universe- Bumi and Kyoshi both chide Aang for traits he doesn't have here, and he never gets called out for the in the original. Genuinely it feels so bizarre, like these characters come from another world where what they're saying is true. More than ever this show feels like it was made by fans who loved the show so much they wanted to see it be better, and when given the opportunity they just kinda... Went ham on both fixing the flaws while also directly acknowledging and trying to fix them, except it doesn't make sense because they don't exist here. It's so disorienting and, frankly, super funny and personally validating to realize the writers also probably had screaming meltdowns over Aang being a bad main character, and feeling so strong about it that they just had to include it still. It feels like the biggest callout post possible, it's genuinely so funny, and as nonsensical as it is... I love it, and for me it makes the show feel like it was written by like mined people- I get it, y'all, I too would both fix and yell at Aang if given the opportunity! It's genuinely such a mood and so relatable of them, so even if it's kind of a mess... I love it, because I get it.
I think it's a really cute and fun twist to have the crystals not be the way, but rather, the badgermoles. It gives both aspects of the cave a chance to show up, and even though I do kinda wish we got to see a disgruntled Sokka strumming his way out of the cave... This was a really sweet resolution. Also, spending most of the time they're in the cave be in the dark and thus under the light of the crystal made for a much more visually interesting episode than it would be otherwise, while also being a nod to them originally being trapped in crystal in Aang's Bumi Adventure. Tbh THESE are two episodes that work great when separating the cast- Sokka and Katara literally did nothing in Bumi's episode, while Aang being there in Cave of Two Lovers did more harm than good in my humble opinion. As I thought I would, I like Sokka and Katara going through the cave together MUCH more- it allowed for a more organic conflict, had more potential for funny moments (that wasn't really utilized because for the most part this adaptation doesn't really do or seem to get comedy- I mean, the funny Bumi moments absolutely bombed here!), and just... Wasn't Kataang focused, which is always a plus!!
Ngl it's kinda embarrassing how much I cared about Sokka's instincts to the point that it made me THAT emotional- btw I don't like that it wasn't followed up on like originally, here it was just brought up and he turned out to be wrong which sucked a bit- unless the crystals were meant to lead them to the badgermole? Idk, wish this was a stronger through line because now he just looks like a fool- which the original episode made sure he wasn't, that was like, the whole point there!!
Genuinely WHERE was this Bumi in the original show,,,,, Anyway this Bumi fight kinda feels like the first cool earthbending we see, which. Ngl, checks out with the original lmao.
My god do I wish Katara and Sokka were able to actually do anything in the original episode with Bumi after seeing this, this was fantastic!!! I'm tearing up, genuinely, this was fantastic!! It really feels like what Aang could've become originally if he was challenged more. I really do appreciate and feel for Bumi here, and for once in a very long time.... I'm also rooting for Aang. That's genuinely not a small thing to accomplish for me! As much as I think what Bumi is saying here has merit, I also believe that this is an Aang that can learn to mediate and make the hard choices when he must- so long as he considers other perspectives, allows his friends to help him, and does the same for them in return. And for how distant Aang feels from Sokka and Katara right now? I believe they genuinely can and will grow closer to a degree they can be this for each other. This was an awesome moment and. Idk. Having genuine faith in Aang feels so foreign to me at this point, almost novel, and I hope to god they don't squander this later on. Watching this episode was actually so healing? Idk if it was just that it took me like, literal hours because I kept pausing to write a lot here so it felt like a long journey to get here, but. I'm really happy with where things ended up, generally!
Uhhh so. Zuko's lot in life is being on water, is it, Iroh? Lmao I know that's absolutely not what he meant but of course my brain IMMEDIATELY started barking "Zutara! Zutara? ZUTARA!" like a rabid dog- that is MY lot in life. Anyway I do think the two Iroh and Zuko scenes at the end here were probably the best ones of the two of them so far! And closing with Zuko having another "Aang vs Iroh" moment just to cement the message here was probably a wise choice especially given how brief the first one was. This one worked a lot better, and it was also really pretty visually!! Actually, for whatever reason I think this show generally looks the best when it's working with blue tones for whatever reason, and as this episode had a lot of them it was one I was constantly really impressed by visually! The green here was a bit hit or miss, but the blue scenes kinda always look really good!! Actually, Wolf Cove looked cool too, and it was pretty blue as well! Hmm. Something to try and pay attention to from now on and if I do a rewatch ig?
This episode honestly did a much better job at adapting two storylines simultaneously, and it was just... Overall better for the most part than the previous one. Bumi was a bit questionable in that he initally leaned too heavily on his original personality and gags rather than embrace this new version (ironically, the opposite of what they should've done with Teo), but for the most part I like the changes they made here! Iroh remains the shakiest and most immersion breaking part of this show- due to no fault of the actor, by the way, he does a good job, the writing is just really inconsistent with him- but if I ignore how uncanny and ooc at times he feels to me, I did generally like his scenes here and what they were meant to do. Genuinely don't know if Iroh is an issue for other people or if for some reason I'm just fixated on him feeling off tbh? Anyway Katara and Sokka were in top form this episode, as I came to expect from scenes that focus on their bond! It was definitely brought down a bit by having to resolve the weaker previous episode and its weird adapations of Jet, Sai and Teo right at the start but it managed to pick itself back up really well- and the Sokka and Katara fight put a nice little bow on it for now, so I'm relatively satisfied with how they wrapped it up. Still hope for a big Sokka and Jet fight though, and still don't really appreciate what they did with Teo. But the bulk of this episode was great- if not in execution, at least in the ideas it portrayed, so I'm happy enough with it tbh.
This post was, once again, a mess as it's just me writing down my thoughts as they occur to me with very minimal editing, if I bother with it at all, but. Yeah it's pretty funny that I'm constantly just lamenting how they remove something and then they still include it later haha, it's becoming kind of a pattern!

SO UHM.... I love Games of Thrones all the content book/comic/tv show (even if I was ripping my hair out)
I don't want to sound mean and shit...because everybody has the right to consume content as they like.
And from consuming content other content made by fans appear, fanart and fanfiction, blogs (which I freaking adore).
Let's remeber that those are just FAN works cause it seems some people don't understand.
When we talk about the specific content the CANON content we have exclude bias created by fan works because the conversation won't have nuance and sense.
Especially in GRR Martin works, because you cant go around the internet and spread misinformation especially the people who only watched the tv series.
And I saw it especially in House of the dragon with the stupid fan wars team green vs team black.
Let's remeber that a book of Fire and Blood is not a reliable source of information because the maester who wrote it lived years apart from the end of the Dance of the dragons. And kinda wel not kinda was a misogynist so the story was favouring a certain team.
But let's leave that for a second and let's start debunking misinformation and stupid comments:
And please don't say oh I'm coming after team green fans, majority of mischaracterization and misinformation comes from team green fans
Rhaenyra is not heir of the throne Aegon is: Like have we seen the same show since episode 1 they call princess Rhaenyra heir of the throne, even with Aegon being born nothing changed. Aegon gets called the usurper because team green usurp the iron throne from the rightful heir.
Rhaenyra didn't support Baela's claim to inherit House Velaryon: *deep sigh* How could have she done she's not a Velaryon she MARRIED INTO the house, she became a widow and remarried she has no power. If you want criticize someone is Corlys he's the head of the house. And even if Baela succeeded Vaemond and some other Velaryon would have not agreed on letting a woman be heir of Driftmark
Leanor and Rhaenyra should have taken their duties more seriously: nunber one let me just say how funny how your opinions about this characters really show who you really are. Let's remeber Leanor is a gay man and I'm not forgetting some of ya'll homophobic rhetoric. How do yall know they never tried having children. Because if we watched the same show Laenor loves Rhaenyra and she loves him they probably agreed and tried. Some of yall are crazy saying that she should have forced him. If that ever happened the hate towards her would have intensified . Instead of talking how patriarchy literally forced him to marry a woman yall want to dehumanize him instead. And please let's stop comparing this situation to Margery because those are two different stories.
Rhaenyra would have just inherit the throne just for herself and not other women: in my previous post I said this but the more I think. Why do yall expect Rhaenyra to be a feminism advocate
The strong boy bullied Aemond: What they did was wrong cause laying at a kid who doesn't have a dragon is wrong. But bullying how does a 5 year old bullies a almost q0 year old. Luke and Jace were wrong for the pig situation. But let's talk about the Aegon of it all. Why do people like to attack Strong boys so bad, they were literally two kids who wanted to be cool like their older uncle Aegon so they followed what he did. But some of team green stans never bring up how Aegon, Otto and Alicent is the reason how Aemond is Aemond. Because why never mentioning how Argon sent his 13 year old brother in a whore house. How adults failed him because his grandpa and mother literally indoctrinated him in hating team black more.
Aemond is not a feminist is an incel, a hypocrite a man who hates bastards and then had a bastard. And don't give me he was charmed bullshit Targaryen don't get influenced by magic. He was not the best warrior or rider. The only reason he won his battle because he was fighting against the weak (squire, childre and elderly) example Simon Strong and literally made an unnecessarypool of blood in the Riverlands and let'snot talk about Daeron. He was too fool of himself and the got popped by a 50 year ol man.
Lucerys shouldn't get punished: Both of the kids should have get punished from that night. Not only two of them all of them. If you listened you hear Baela saying that Aemond was about to kill Jace. Lucerys maimed Aemond as self defense. Stop saying he WANTED to do it he was 5 who premeditates to main someone. Stop saying that people were afraid of Aemond cause of his eye. No he had a bad attitude and had the biggest dragon. I get in fanfiction yall have to out some spice but at this put out AU tag. Because people can't differentiate CANON from FANON. I let mischaracterization a little bit go in fanfiction but stop getting confused.
Aegon ate: You know damn well
Hating Rhaenyra for going to a brother is just internalized misogyny especially when yall defend Aegon
Team Green was not smart and didn't win the dance. Otto literally had the time to train Aegon as king and didn't then when Aegon became king literally fired him as hand of the king. Team green lost completely when Jaehera died.
The biggest proof of internalized misogyny in team green stand how yall make fun of Rhaenyra still birth and her weight. Just like the maesters in the book
Is ironic and sad that the only person that survived for a while in team green was Jaehera a daughter. If team green didn't uphold misogyny who knows she could have been heir.
Aegon III the third is not team green he literally saw his mother getting killed I understand why he's so depressed
Being racist to house Velaryon is not cute at all. GRR Martin said that they were originally black
Saying the only reason your team green is for Haelena is stupid. Because she was literally abused from team green, her mother and brother. They used her as a pawn and coming back with Aemond being a feminist or a good person if he was he would have never let his sister go through all that. The happiest moment we saw her was dancing with Jace.
Strong boys didn't deserve the hate or to die
Saying if you were Rhaenyra you would have never snuck out, "sleep around" or have bastard children is just slut shaming.
Daemon is a bad person yes but even Aemond, Aegon and Daeron, they are not pinterest boys as ya'll like to headcanon.
Alicent saying that if Jace would have become King, Kingslanding would have become a huge brother is quite hypocrisy because she's talking about her kids even when she calls the Strong boys savages she's still talking about her kids.
During the dance Rhaenyra was a bad ruler, but is caused by the same usurpation cause by misogyny
Oh and stop using people of colour as a way to prove that team black is bad cause we know you really don't care about us.
#asoif/got#house of the dragon#baela targaryen#otto hightower#alicent hightower#rhaena targaryen#lucerys velaryon#rhaenyra targaryen#jacaerys velaryon#rhaenys velaryon

Love Between Fairy And Devil Commentary Part 3
The final one! Excerpts from my reactions while watching episodes 25-36! Apologies for the delay
Part 1 | Part 2
SPOILERS ahead!
when did shangque fall in love with her anyway i feel like it snuck up on me. like it was obvious it was going to happen, but the how happened subtly
the grooms need to get DRESSED
it would be hilarious if girlie and sauron get together now and kiss and people see and incest rumors cause the weddings to fall apart
wow sauron looks SO weird with his hair up
a red wedding is about to happen // its snowing as well for maximum effect
he cannot control hellfire well anymore he really should not be doing this
i love that him being 'injured' means he got eyeliner and dark lipstick
she didnt fail the tribulation besties she is fine
FINALLY we get a badass moment from girlie
wdym 'why cant i control hellfire' its obviously cause you have emotions again
have i mentioned how much i hate jin guangshan
did she just feed him her blood to heal? what in the svsss?
girlie's 'i want to jump into the river' after getting caught locking lips was so cute
also why is everyone acting like they dont know why sauron cant use hellfire // i mean he was against her restoring his emotions for this very reason??
god i knew they were gonna be disgustingly cute
i think jieli was prettier in the mortal clothes but girlie is definitely more gorgeous in her immortal robes
i really appreciate the little comedic moments scattered through this show
omg this is beautiful // the women singing together for the return of their men // very avatar like
DAMN that was an eventful two episodes // the wedding happened, batman appeared, everything went to plan, batmans identity was revealed, girlie and sauron finally kinda got together, danyin and ice man came back and girlie's true identity was also revealed
its so crazy that they are saying they need to settle the score as if sauron hasnt regularly whooped jack frost's ass completely
girlie you were happy as a mortal cause you were rich
omg she is literally 'i see you as a nice friend'-ing him rn. i didn't expect this level of self awareness
sauron feeling proud of dragon boy for scoring a date
sorry dragon boy jieli is a businessminded woman
i feel like a matchmaking auntie watching these cuties together
oh good batman backstory // he literally has no parents. but he is also blind like a bat. and uses sound - the flute. // i am a genius
HAN PU!????????? baby batman is HAN PU (who rules the world reference)
also batman is literally luo binghe (svsss reference)
good for jin guangshan and jack frost's mom for running away and escaping this madness
frostie is suicidal. cue the beat boxing song
YES GO FULL HIPPIE ICEY BOY
that man did NOT swallow
DANYIN? danyin is the baby??? then why does the pregnant lady look like jieli???
i am 99% convinced fake old god is gonna die
this is a very random last minute storyline/backstory that i did seriously not see coming
has jieli been a plant by catwoman and batman this whole time?? thats why she cant reciprocate dragon's feelings?
shangque stop saying you'll forgive her manipulating you
damn the whole city gathered to stop him from getting laid
he wants to mawwy herrr
this is why dating villains is fun, they truly dont give a fuck about right or wrong, just you. great romance
he didnt go to hang locks! does he need to get the spike in him right NOW?
that punishment is so awful sauron become 3D in a 2D show
there is lightning! are they gonna kiss kiss body swap again?
why dont they just tell emo boy girlie isnt a fairy, she is the goddess of xishun
this conflict is seriously so unneccessary, she is a GODDESS
the people on twitter were right, this does get only better as you keep watching
thats not a cave, thats a torture chamber
and he decided to share her pain // ofcourse he did
thats a long ass wig
i thought he was gonna carry her but them walking hand in hand is so much better
ice man and jin guangshan's fathers name is lord DONG that is amazing
wowwwwww danyin just confessed her love in front of EVERYONE // balls // she has got balls
girlie's true identity was the fix-it of everything huh
dragon boy is brave to the point of stupid giving jieli all his money // omg is she finally accepting him // i wonder what they will get up to in his dragon form
now wtf is happening here
plot is now aiming at killing girlie i see
i dont see how he didnt see the loss of hellfire coming from miles away after he got his emotions back, i mean wasnt he so opposed to it for this very reason??
i cant believe they hurt my babygirl dragon boy
the phrase "menacing fairies" is quite funny
sauron just wants to live in domestic bliss but the plot wants WAR
i love the meek obedient expression sauron gets on his face around girlie
he is too smart to work with an obviously evil swirling dark cloud // right?
mr sauron i thought you werent gonna lie to her
she has gotten good at setting boundaries
is he possesed rn or just what is happening
i hope the war lives up to the hype, unlike who rules the world // i mean we have been talking about it for literally 30 episodes
the crazy thing is that if he had been straight up with her and told her why she has to die she would have killed herself easily
jieli is fucking smart
I GET IT NOW // he cant take off the bone orchid cause she is devoted to him, so he has break her heart so he can take it off
oooo is it time for ✨war✨
for two opposing armies the fairy realm and demon realm sure have the exact same armour
i think even if she tries to kill herself she wont die cause of special goddess powers
ooooo i think he will use the evil qi and then girlie will purify it
wow her screams of pain are quite intense
honestly i am sick of lady war just having no agency in this story // like lets have her come back to life and tell off batman please
ohhh its the long awaited batman vs iceman fight
they sure picked a place with terrible visibility for this war huh
who tf is qingchuan???
after all this time iceman just now found out batman is ronghao?
love how lady si ming still hasnt shown up again // though i do still believe she will
i knew it!! her magic dust brought everyone back to life
that god(dess) for better visibility amirite
wait are they still pretending she isnt gonna live
sauron doesnt have enough sand on his face, he face planted multiple times. i need him to be coughing up sand
oh wow she is actually disintigrating thanos snap style
why is jieli not just telling dragon boy the truth that she was poisoned? is it cause she knows catwoman is gonna come after her and she doesnt want him to get hurt?
and now batmans all happy and shit?? rude
omg stop manipulating lady war i am sick and tired of her agency being taken away
awwww this is a very cute sequence if not for the fact that he is definitely dreaming
wow watching sauron smile with all his teeth is weirddd
so i guess the remaining 5 eps will be him trying to get girlie back
if dragon boi dies i am gonna riot
oh its a dream sharing incense burner!
woooooow hot take from ice man there 'she will come back from death cause she hasnt married me yet'
i love the juxtaposition of the chaos irl and the serenity in his dream
i am really confused about the girlie marrying iceman prophecy because there is no way thats gonna happen right? unless she has some serious memory loss or something
i am so confused about ronghao's feeling towards lady war
jin guangshan is a fucking bitch
hah i knew lady si ming was gonna turn up
what a power couple though lady si ming and her dragon living together forever
popping back in to say i was right about the memory loss (i stopped in the last few eps cause i was tired lol)
i hate memory loss tropes btw // her memories better come back
did lady war just off danyin?? // misdirect
after i was done i had some last words to say
the ending wasnt bad exactly, plot wise, but i missed the light hearted tone of the show in the last six episodes and also why do we get more fluff in the middle than at the end??
all i wanted was to see them getting married and sitting on the moon throne as king and queen
and not a single jielie/shangque kiss?? we were ROBBED
And that's it folks!! Overall a very fun and enjoyable experience, would recommend!
#loooooooooooong post#gf originals#love between fairy and devil#lbfad#lbfad commentary#langhua#changheng#danyin#dongfang qingcang#i posted this for that one person that liked and reblogged the first two parts recently and reminded me i still had to post the last one#thanks bestie

Oshi no Ko is one of the two series that I regularly followed this season. A lot of my close friends love this series, praise it for how great and suspenseful it is, and it also provided great criticism of the idol and acting industry. Not the first series to do that of course, but it still did an amazing job at it according to them.
But I've decided to hold off from reading the manga and just watch the anime to see if it's interesting enough to make me pick up the manga.
(This is a review post from an anime-only watcher, please note that these thoughts are formed based on the anime only and not the manga. This is also just me articulating my thoughts about Oshi no Ko, so please take it with a grain of salt.)
If you ask what show I generally recommend between the two shows I watched this season, I would recommend Oshi no Ko first and foremost because the other series I watched was just a personal favorite of mine, not a series that's "objectively good".
So, does that mean Oshi no Ko is objectively a good series? So far, I think so. I have only watched the anime, and Season 1 of Oshi no Ko feels more like a setup season than anything, but I think it was pretty good. Be alarmed that it has a lot of sensitive topics to deal with such as teenage pregnancy, cyberbullying, suicide, and stuff like that, and I have a feeling that there will be more sensitive topics to come in the future. So, this is recommended for people who can handle such topics with a clear head.
It's worth noting that the first episode has more than an hour in length, so get comfy before start jumping in. It's also more of a setup to the plotline. I think the series succeeded in making me care for Ai in such a short amount of time. I'm a fan of how they handled the whole "character is dead but their existence is so relevant to the plot that they will still haunt the narrative long after their death" thing. The way how Ai still haunts the plot and the entire narrative even though she's no longer in the story anymore is pretty good.
Maybe because I am still kinda annoyed at how Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru handled such a plotline (I only watched the anime), where the series just kept on lingering on flashbacks about the dead main heroine, and in the end, she ended up being brought back but in another character's body and didn't actually die. What intrigued me about watching that series in the first place was how they handled a main character who died and kept haunting the narrative, and how other characters coped with that. But yeah, Tantei was Mou Shindeiru didn't do that part very well and the main heroine who actually had died somehow is not dead, and that feels like a cop-out. Glad Oshi no Ko isn't like that and handled that aspect pretty well.
But if I have to admit something, I don't feel too invested in Oshi no Ko even after I finished watching the anime. Is it because Ai is no longer there? I'm not sure. The characters are all great but I don't have as strong feelings about them. For the record, Akane is my most favorite character (other than Ai) and I think her arc was pretty great, but after that's done she never appears again until the last episode and my strong feelings about her slowly fade away. Kana is also pretty good and while I do like her character arc, I also feel just "okay" about her. Mem-cho doesn't get to appear much as I hoped, we get to know a bit of her but then she gets sidelined. Ruby unfortunately doesn't get many moments to shine until late in the story (and even then the focus of the later half is still Kana) compared to her big brother. Aqua is a strange character, I like him but that's about it.
I'm also not too crazy about the romance subplot happening between Aqua & Kana, and Aqua & Akane. I'm rooting for Akane and all, but the romance aspects still feel kind of forced. It's my major gripe of the series so far, to be honest. I am never a fan of the love triangle/harem plot. I can excuse it if it's good/reasonable enough for me, but so far the love triangle between Aqua and Kana + Akane has been very forced. Aqua is too focused on the revenge plot to even think about such a relationship. Akane and Kana being set to perform together in one stage play (possibly alongside Aqua too) just adds fuel to the fire. I probably can overlook how forced it is if it's not one of the primary focuses of the show, but it IS, sometimes it's kind of shoved to my face, so...yeah.
I feel like I'm more into the series when it's focusing on industry criticism (the Ai arc, Kana acting arc, and the Reality Dating Show arc) than the idol arc happening near the end.
I still think the first season hasn't even covered the best parts of the series--it feels more like a setup season than anything. I heard the upcoming arc in season 2 is going to be great, so looking forward to that. All that said, the anime, unfortunately, doesn't convince me enough to pick up the source material, but some of my friends tell me to read the manga so...I guess I'll try.
So, Oshi no Ko is great. Maybe it's a show that you'll enjoy too just like most people did. I'm just not too hooked on it as much as my friends are...not yet, at least. Maybe when season 2 is released and finally adapts some great moments like how people anticipate it, that's probably when I can get excited and invested in it. I still recommend you to watch this show more than the other show that I watched this season. Just be mindful that this series will frequently handle sensitive topics, so you better approach with a clear head.
#personal#oshi no ko#just me rambling to myself#hope season 2 is gonna be great! i have high hopes for the series and I'm hoping I can get as excited as everyone else for OnK#series ramblings

We've been catching up on some TV recently 😄
Obi-Wan Knobie
I thought the series was excellent! and think they should do a Season 2. The only problem I had was with his interaction with Leia it kinda doesn't mesh with Episode 4 like when she is leaving the message for him in R2 it like she doesn't know who he is but she should know or remember who Obi-Wan Kenobi is becasue as a kid she spent quite a bit of time with him. that is pretty much my only gripe with the show a continuity error
She-Hulk
I wanted to see this being I'm a fan of the character and I was happy they were going with the funny/silly 4-wall breaking version which is the version of She-Hulk that I like. Now I actually the series was awesome! I enjoyed it alot! I laughed at parts and giggled at parts and did a few eye rolls here and there. Its all very fun I liked the references and the 4 wall breaks I thought Tatiana Maslany was perfect as Jennifer Walters the way they did She-Hulk was awesome I liked how they kept her origin somewhat close to the comics love the Cameos and thought Tim Roth is still killing it as Abomination. but like I said I enjoyed the series and as a comic reader I have to say that the show is very She-Hulk very similar to the comics.
Ms.Marvel
Now next we watched Ms.Marvel now I can't say I know alot about the Kamala Khan version of Ms.Marvel being I didn't and haven't been reading her series. the Ms.Marvel I grew up with was Carol Danvers Ms.Marvel before she became Captain Marvel. but like I said I know the basics about Kamala Khan from her team-ups and guest appearances in other books. the show is really good it has the fun almost silliness to it but at the same time a very seriousness as well similar to how Spider-Man: Homecoming was it had that same feel as that movie almost. there was some funny moments and some nice action and visuals and speaking of which I knew they changed her powers for live action and she is no longer "stretchy" with her shape shifting powers in the show she is now more like the MCU version of Green Lantern where she puts on a The bangle and it gives her the power to create Hardlight constructs similar to what a Lantern Ring does also there was one thing that bothered me the "Bad Guy" in this were suppose to be djinn but they didn't seem to have any type of magical powers? you would think they would? djinn are suppose to be magical creatures aren't they? also another thing the ending I remember ppl saying that the '97 X-Men animated theme is heard during a scene but I didn't hear anything I watched the scene like 3 times and couldn't hear anything. other then that I thought it was a good and fun show.
Moon Knight
and finally on the Marvel side of things we watched Moon Knight. I know a lil bit more about the character the Kamala Khan's Ms.Marvel. I thought the series was really great plenty of action and adventure and some funny moments I thought I thought the visuals for this were also really well done and kinda impressively cool at times. One thing tho I did feel at a few moments during the series it felt a bit disjointed but got back on track quickly it was like it hit a "speedbump" for a minute. I also think Oscar Isaac was great as Moon Knight and he pulled off the somewhat craziness that the character is know for perfectly! the duality that they do in this was excellent. but yeah I thought it was great and a good introduction for the character into the MCU
Now after watching all three Marvel shows I thought they were all really good and I enjoyed them all but I would have to say I enjoyed She-Hulk the most. I actually thought it was the best of the 3 I probably think that being that I am an actual fan of She-Hulk but also I thought it was witty and funny and full of all kinds of moments and things that I enjoy like comic references and Easter eggs and also I felt it was very close to the actual comics so I'd say I liked it the most.
Also I watched Werewolf by Night now that is something I thought I would never see in live action! but it was pretty great! I liked the whole B&W aesthetic where it looked like a 1950's monster movie that was great! and I loved how they did Man-Thing (aka "Ted") he was perfect! it was a great an somewhat funny introduction of the character into the MCU and I like how they had him use his acidic/burning touch thing too. but it was a good lil special I do wonder if this will have any connections to the upcoming Blade movie?

Yishun Revengers Episode 12 "CCCCCCB"
“Singapore is the heart of Britain's military base in Southeast Asia, an impregnable fortress! We will not lose to the Japanese! We will never surrender to the Ja-”
-The British shortly before getting bombed and surrendering to the Japanese
“Ah, wait. You're not one of those…” Little Whitey flew over to Luna's outstretched arm, ready to talk serious business.
Skorpius remained silent, although for possibly the first time it was silence that didn't feel like he was avoiding interrogation (like getting violently beaten up).
“What do you think, Little Whitey?” Luna said.
“Blah, forget about free rights anymore with these kinda guys, he's probably just gonna go on and on about how it's my divinely-given birthright and only purpose in life for existing to help him in his most holy and sacred mission about how-”
“Ok, can you shut up and get to the point?” Stefen shot him a look and not-so-discreetly rolled his eyes, obviously tired of how much talking everyone was doing today and therefore how much his brain had to process. Can’t blame him.
“I mean, I understand if just killing him rules out to be the better choice here. It’s just that-” Skorpius interjected. “I’d like to save as many innocent souls as possible in this crusade. That includes the ones no one ever cries for…”
Mendax smirked and folded his arms. “What’s wrong? Getting poetic?”
“Or, maybe something you didn’t tell us? Something important?” Esse took the subtle hint and stepped forward to grab Skorpius by his hair again, positioning him for Sicarius, armed with her knife.
This time Skorpius did not resist, sitting there tiredly like a wise old man with three crazy beggars holding him hostage.
“Just get on with the plan already,” Ming groaned impatiently.
“You can talk if I kindly place my knife on your throat, right?” Sicarius glared over and passively-aggressively asked.
“...A Luminary Guardian requires a host to activate its power, but did you know that it can actually have more than one host?” Skorpius started the conversation, hooking Luna and Little Whitey in immediately with such a key attention grabber.
“Come…again?” Luna’s pets of Little Whitey decreased in speed and frequency, indicating clear importance she was interested in whatever Skorpius had to offer.
“The more hosts a Luminary Guardian has, the more power they are able to activate and channel. However, they still require the use of a primary host before they are able to possess any more hosts,”
“...Go on…”
“Possessing more than one host at a time isn’t as easy as you think it is, though. The Luminary Guardian is required to split itself into as many parts as its hosts, and each part can typically only hold up for a while. Many possessions are, as such, only temporary,”
“And that’s why, aside from a Luminary Guardian, I need the power of a Culpably-superpowered human too. Typically I would give these powers to any human if there wasn’t any around, but since we already happen to have one..” His words trailed off and he stared up at Sano, whose bloodshot eyes stared him dead and could truly make one shudder with appearances alone.
“You want me…to…” Sano’s voice had grown so deep and cold over the course of these 45 minutes worth of interrogation. He didn’t have an overnight puberty or growth spurt, did he?
“I want you to save him.”
“Continue with the plan,” Laju grunted almost animalistically already, smoke emitting from her frustration with the many conversational detours this group has taken.
“This is by far the most…traditional way of purifying a Culpable-the Luminary Guardian will possess me and activate its power, and the superpowered human will keep me supplied with a constant flow of energy while I fight off the Shadow’s Blade.”
“The…Shadow’s Blade?” August questioned.
“The will of the Culpable. The inherent, underlying, but nonetheless ever present will of the Culpable. The Shadow’s Blade is separate from the Culpable itself, though, make no mistake. “
“So what happens after you fight off the Shadow’s Blade?” Pertama asked.
“I purify it. At this step…I will require neither the Luminary Guardian nor the superpowered human. This is an independent step which I am able to achieve on my own.” Skorpius exhaled and sighed deeply again, leaving behind but a brief moment of silence of the crew’s contemplation.
“Yes, but..how can we trust you?” Sicarius removed the knife from its precarious position for a while to lick it threateningly, then returned it to where it rightfully belonged.
Skorpius, as usual, kept up his cryptic silence but fixed and let show his line of sight onto Little Whitey and Luna-the latter still as calm and uncaring as usual, much opposed to the former not doing a very good job at containing his bewilderment after the earlier info dump.
“Yes, you can trust him,” Little Whitey said after a while, much to the scepticism of literally everyone in the room.
“And how do we know that, Little Whitey?” Luna hissed non-threateningly over at the bird rested comfortably on her shoulder.
“I might be wrong, but since he did again prove he has knowledge of it, and only a Crusader would wear such a ridiculous mask-” Little Whitey sucked in a HUGE breath. Wait, can birds even do that?
“He’s an Astral Crusader. What’s crazier than the existence of seeds of negative energy running around worlds destroying and walking in the face of terror everywhere they go is, the existence of a group that actively seeks to ‘rescue’ Culpables and innocent people from the pain Culpables bring about…”
Stefen loudly sucked in the air around him in a frustrated manner and straightened his back, cleared his throat and prepare himself for the mental ordeal he was about to go through. “Go…on…” He whispered with a disconnected demeanour.
“In a quick introduction, Astral Crusaders have, quote unquote, “witnessed the calamity Culpables cause everyday," and have vowed to put an end to it-even if it costs them their lives. Well, it wouldn’t be surprising if they were just trying to kill all Culpables-I mean, everyone would love to kill a seed of negativity and banish it to the netherworld for good every once in a while and make the world a better place, now, right?
The crazy part is-that they think Culpables are victims of their own negativity and the killing they manifest too, and so the methods they use to ‘purify’ worlds afflicted tend very much to…save the Culpable too,”
He gasped in tiny, unnoticeable breaths after finishing such a long speech (long speech not for a human, but for a bird, ok), and turned to face Skorpius.
“Am I right?”
“Ah…you Luminary Guardians do know us the best,” He cocked his head to the side as an expression of amusement. One would imagine he could break out into a cute smile, if only there wasn’t the huge problem of a plastic covering masking his expressions that no one seems to question after the explanation anymore.
“So…do you trust me enough now?” He turned back to Sicarius (must have decided that she was the one most vicious here) and held up his restrains.
Sicarius unfolded her arms gradually and followed the trend of sucking in a breath, then exhaling. “I still don’t trust you…but that bird seems dead set on doing so, and I’d rather not anger it…”
“Welcome to the club.”
