What would be a good personality for an Ametrine whose outfit is styled after traditional Bolivian dancer outfits with the short skirts and long sleeves? Their components being an Amethyst named Sweetie who is very kind and selfless but tends to not stand up for herself/disobey orders and a Citrine gem who is very quick to action, short-tempered, and has strong emotions.

Hm, I think that a good personality for them could be an Ametrine who is free spirited and wild, but also considerate and caring. They could also have a bad temper, much like Citrine, but be prone to quietly taking it out on theirself rather than others due to your Amethyst’s quiet and shy nature.

Moe/Mel and or Moe/Smithers?

we all know moe/mel is me fave so i have to

falls asleep on the couch: moe!! makes friends with the neighbors: MEL...moe is a sweetheart but also he’s a goblin man and has a kind of off-putting presenceis the adventurous eater: moe is an adventurous eater in the sense that he’ll eat expired cheese..but mel is actually interested in trying new foodhogs the covers at night: moe gets overheated easily so he tends to kick off the covers, so mel inevitably ends up hogging themforgets to do the dishes: MOE....tries to surprise their partner more often: moe tries to surprise mel but most of the time the surprise involves stealing flowers from someone else’s yardleaves dirty laundry on the floor: moe has One Whole Outfit that’s impossible..BUT IN ALL LEGITIMACY they’re both guilty of this stays up til 2 AM reading: mel! the damn intellectualsings in the shower: mel!!! and loudly too..but he has a good voice so it’s forgivabletakes the selfies: i dont think either of them are very big on selfies but mel is probably most likely to take selfiesplans date night: mel does! no offense but moe is bad at planning things

I was wondering if I could get a suggestion for a weapon for a Green Moss Agate! Preferably something very leader of troops like while also being faintly rough terrain themed? Hi there! The first thing that came to mind for me was a hammer, its somewhat terrain themed and leaders have to weild the metaphorical “hammer” When dealing with the people they are leading! I hope this helps you!

Honestly…. I hadn’t ever considered the fact that my fave comic book character who has clear mental health issues had DID ever but now you’ve opened my eyes and I think they might problem is idk if they’re the best representation for DID???

well honestly the representation for DID right now is literally limited to “psychopathic manipulative/abusive murderers” in the mainstream media so as long as the character doesn’t fall into that trope I think they’re probably ok

and anyways through the ~power of headcanons~ (and proper DID research, please for the love of GOD do research) you can easily reshape a character to reflect DID traits in a positive way without destroying aspects of the character that may be negative.  I always cite goodcopbadcop from The Lego Movie as a good example of an antagonistic character who’s DID-coded, but whose DID traits are not represented as villainous.  Though they initially appear to fall into the trope of “one bad alter one good,” the movie subverts it by having both alters forced to commit immoral acts at the behest of their manipulative, abusive boss.  The movie also avoids portraying the character as “crazy” or “psychotic,” but as a fully fleshed character with motivation and logical reasoning for their actions, even if the actions taken are wrong.  Ultimately, it makes the character sympathetic to the audience, rather than alienating the audience by painting their DID traits as scary.

the gist is, don’t be afraid to help spread DID representation by being vocal about DID headcanons, even if a character is “problematic”!  Very few characters are explicitly multiple, and even fewer people seem to want to headcanon characters with the mental illness (even when they have more than one personality in canon!) because it’s so feared and misunderstood.  Just be aware of what traits make a character fall into typical DID tropes (murderers, ~crazy~ mentally ill characters, abusers, etc) and do your research, and you should be fine.

Yes, it completely is! Even if you can’t help with color palettes or fusion gems (due to deciding according to their color), you can also help in a lot of other areas! We help with dancing styles, weapons, abilities, personalities, gem picking, design ideas, homeworld roles and more! So the opportunity is definitely there!

And about not having enough time… that’s fine too! Most of us have irl stuff to take care of. College, school, work, that’s all perfectly understandable! But we would definitely like to make sure you can help in the blog now and then. As long as you’re sure you can manage your studies and help here, I don’t see the issue! We’re not expecting you to work full-time on the blog, after all. The idea here is to help and have fun!
