“Did I say something wrong?” Giyuu asked. Your face burned at the touch as your brain tried to wrap around the last hour of your day. How could things have turned out like this?!

“Why did you say that to them?!” You finally faced him. It was no use trying to hide your embarrassment. Giyuu isn't as brainless as everyone might think. He knew what he said and he meant it.

“Because we��re dating.” He stated.

“When did I agree to that?! You can’t spring that on me!”

“I thought you liked me… you said you did.”

You stumbled over your words, desperately trying to piece together how you let that slip that you liked him. How did he find out?! Were you that obvious?! While trying to form a thought you felt Giyuu’s hand loosen from yours. You didn’t even notice you had still held onto him.

“I’m sorry, I misspoke. I’ll clear it up, don’t worry-”

Giyuu moved to walk past you but you grabbed onto his hand again. “W-Wait.. Please…”

Now or never.

“I do like you. A lot. You just surprised me. I didn’t know you liked me too.” Your hands were shaking. What if it was too late? What if he hated you now?

Giyuu sighed and that sent a fearful chill down your spine. He pulled you closer to him. You hesitantly looked up at him.

“I told you I liked you a month ago.”

You were so out of it back then from testing and work you barely remembered it. After a night of karaoke, you two caught the last train home. You had joked earlier that a quiet guy like Giyuu was more your type. Giyuu had that thought stuck with him for the whole walk to your house. He finally asked if you meant what you said.

“Yeah, I’d definitely prefer you over anyone else Giyuu.”

“Good, I like people like you.”

You smiled, “Then I guess we’re perfect for each other.”

Looking back on it you wanted to punch yourself. There was no way that wasn’t a confession. And poor Giyuu had been under the impression you two were dating for a month.

“Giyuu~” you whined with a shaky voice and tearful eyes. “I’m sorry~”

He chuckled, “If it was any simpler it wouldn’t be you.”

You buried your face in his chest to hide your shame. Giyuu brought one hand up to pay your head. “It’ll be two months next week. We should go on a date.”

You nodded your head with a muffled reply. On the one hand, you were happy your feelings were reciprocated. On the other you have given your boyfriend ammunition to use against you for YEARS.

Shinazugawa Sanemi- Grandest Reward

Sanemi is the very hostile and aggressive Maths Teacher of the Kimetsu Academy. He doesn’t like any teacher nor student as basically all drive him up the wall… well, he had made himself out that way but in reality, he has a special favouritistic affection for you, the class’s angelic girl

Sanemi fakes out his commonly-placed hatred and strictness towards you as he cannot let his reputation be ruined by a single student. Sure, he views you as a little sister and he loves privately tutoring you in areas of the subject he expertises in

Sanemi truly despises his class, you’re that one little diamond that makes his day better. Every student is extremely loud, disrespectful and combative towards him so each lesson with him consists of him roaring at the nuisances, more than he actually writes down material for you to learn on

After each class, Sanemi purposefully requests you remain in his classroom to give you the candy he preserves solely for you as a thank you for brightening up his day, rather you need to stay back for tutoring means or not. He gifts you candy and a sincere remark about you being the only good one every single day

Sanemi grumbled annoyed and tightly gripped the writing checkboard piece in his hand to the point the snowy white chalky surface cracked. His irritating, loudmouthed students left with piercing laughter and several kicks to the wall as they all carelessly attacked the building to vent out their frustration. With each wave of pathetic teenagers, one remained in her seat silently and politely as she reorganised her bag to be able to fit all of her school belongings in comfortably

Sanemi turned around at the blaring sound of dead silence, enlightened to see no presence of students but a single one who didn’t even inhale or exhale loud enough to be heard. His heart rose to high spirits as he placed down his somewhat broken writing chalk and crossed over to his desk’s hidden built-in drawer, gripping the wooden knob and pulling it backwards, the contents inside the compartment was visible to the older man

Picking out the bag of your favourite lollie candies in which was tied up a thick dark green silky hair scrunchie, he closed the drawer and traversed over to you, readjusting his open collar so the slight peak of his muscular frame wouldn’t be that noticeable to you. Sanemi leant down your thin pane wooden desk and presented you the bag of infamous candies as your eyes crane up from the now empty surface to meet the bigger dark purples of your Maths teacher

Smiling eagerly at his more soft smile, you retraced your lifting hand in hesitation, though, you didn’t need to as Sanemi would never tease you with a scrumptious treat but he always rewarded you with one as tasty, he used his head to gesture at the bag as a sign of permission to take some and once you did, he felt like jumping for joy. Sure, each day was the same like this. You treated him respectfully and considerate where no other student would and he would thank you for that kindness but you always felt unsure of his candy offer, like you didn’t really deserve it

But to him, you really do deserve it… you’re the only student of his that actually treats him like a person and for that, he devotes his kindness to you

Giyuu x Kanae in the academy au? Like Giyuu and her eating lunch together maybe?

EYY GIYUUKANA!! gonna be honest, ive only shipped them through sanemi (so, sanekanagiyuu of smth) so ive never written or drawn anything with them BUT ILL GLADLY ADD THEM TO MY SILLY RAREPAIR SHIPS <3 / idk if you can tell but i got carried away writing this 😭 i forgot to make them eat lunch together :(

Giyuu was always so quiet and apart from the rest of the teachers. He’d always been like that, seeming to prefer his solitude—which was a bit odd considering his profession was to be in the same room of, like, 30 students per hour. Many of the students and teachers have described him as… less than pleasant to speak to. The students complained mostly because Giyuu had somewhat put himself in the duty of telling off the children who strayed from rules. But despite the negative comments towards Giyuu, he had his own small, adorable sides. The ones where he was more than a self-isolated man who liked chasing children through the halls. Sides that he seemed to allow only a select few to see. Kanae was one of them.

Most of the time, it was intentional. Letting the softer sides of himself slip out. But there were a couple times he wasn’t even aware Kanae had witnessed. For example, the first time she saw him smile.

It was late in the day, with only one or two students left. Really, they were only there because they were either one of the staff’s children or younger sibling. Kanae was leaving now, having gotten a text from Shinobu that she needed to be picked up. As she made her way out of the school, she spotted Giyuu standing beside a woman who resembled him. Intending to greet Giyuu—or say goodbye—Kanae had stepped forward. Before she managed to say anything, she registered a smile that seemed to light up Giyuu’s entire face. It was kind and content and softened his features, contorting the usually stoic face into something like a soothing day. As if she had seen something she wasn’t meant to, Kanae left, ducking away and pretending that she’d never made the fleeting detour that had her conjuring the smile in her head for the whole way towards Shinobu’s university.

At the time, it had felt wrong. Like she’d intervened into something personal, something only for Giyuu and the woman whom she’d learned to know as Giyuu’s older sister. But as time had passed, Giyuu began to relax around Kanae. And, eventually, he did smile. At her. Because she had always been so kind to him, despite the complaints he had received from others. She had never shared them. She had only offered him company and food and, well, smiles. He was still quiet, of course, that came inevitably, no matter who he spoke to. But his silence came comfortably, less tense, around Kanae. So they were able to sit together and not worry about how quiet Giyuu was being, not worry about trying to make conversation. And, with how much time they spent with each other now, Kanae could speak without wondering if Giyuu was actually listening, able to discern his reactions. They were subtle but there. She appreciated the fact that he would listen to her rant, regardless of if he found it interesting or not (she could tell when he was uninterested and found it amusing that he wasn’t in the least aware she could do that).

Given how different they were, it did come as a surprise for the rest of the teachers when they caught on with the fact that the two were constantly around each other. The contrast was easy to see and no one would deny that they were an unlikely pair. But at any questions about it, Kanae would simply say, “Opposites attract!” with a smile. She also used that as her explanation for when Giyuu asked why she bothered speaking to him. He’d asked enough times for her answer to become something like a tease—now accompanied by a mischievous grin and followed by a sigh from Giyuu, who actually didn’t mind.

Their friendship became something very treasurable, both caught up in the peace they found with each other. So much so that when Giyuu spoke one day, a rarity in general, they were both caught completely by surprise by his words. His own eyes widened much more than Kanae’s, a hand clamping over his mouth. But after Kanae got over it, a smile made itself known. If she were being honest, she had begun to see him in a different light. She hadn’t said anything, not quite willing the risk in mentioning it. Clearly, Giyuu hadn’t meant to say it either, his panic stirring in the way he scrambled to correct himself, shaking his head as if arguing with himself. But Kanae was quick to calm him, saying, gently, that the feeling was reciprocated—mutual in the way she also didn’t want to do anything to their friendship. Nevertheless, they did settle on something. Something that wasn’t completely a romantic relationship, but could never only be friendship. Something without a label, just for them, just for the soothing of the heart that appeared when they were together. Because Giyuu and Kanae fit like two puzzle pieces, clicking immediately without a second thought.

KIMETSU ACADEMY: "THE REBELS" AU BACKGROUND INFO P.T.2

P.S. :These might be short, so it may or may not be updated in the near future

SEKIDO KUROMIYA:

The oldest out of his brothers. Which means he has a lot on his shoulders. Trust that he maintains good grades. Anything below an A- will send him into cardiac arrest(/j). He does martial arts, but his favorite is boxing. He's also in a few school clubs; debate club, cooking club, and welding club. Trust that this mf will find a way to be good at anything.

Sekido is Sanemi and Obanai's favorite student. No joke, whenever Sekido may be absent from a class, Sanemi and Obanai have notes printed out for him to copy down. He literally never gets into trouble with them, like ever. This brings up the fact that if Sekido ever got into a fight(which happens sometimes), Sanemi and Obanai take Sekido's side because, and I quote. "The other brat probably deserved it."

Sekido is prone to anger easily, especially if someone is talking smack about any of his brothers(trust you will be sent to God himself because Sekido does not play). Once, he almost got arrested because of how bad a fight got. This mf is devious when it comes to beating up anyone(equal rights, equal fights. He will beat up girls if he has, too). He will tie you to a pole after he's knocked you out.

People are afraid to approach Sekido because of his demeanor and slight reputation of his brutality, but he is kinda a softie at heart. He just won't admit it, though. For example, if you point it out, he will get so embarrassed and avoid you for a week tops(tsundere ahh). Even though people are afraid of him, he manages to do well enough to at least talk to people. That's how he got a job at some restaurant. People like him as a server, apparently. However, relationship wise? Good luck, Sekido is too focused on maintaining his job and having good grades to even pay attention to anyone. Those anonymous love letters are pieces of paper he throws away on a daily basis.

KARAKU KUROMIYA:

The second oldest, the most relaxed out of all his siblings. He's also a senior. His grades are pretty average, with an occasional D or F-. He doesn't stress about school, mostly skips a lot anyway. Mostly, he hangs around the art room or softball fields since he does that zaa-zaa. Karaku never gets caught, and it irritates the shit out of Sekido because he doesn't understand how Karaku is still managing to pass his damn classes half the time.

Karaku doesn't do any school clubs or sports, but he occasionally will try out for football or wrestling. Tengen favors Karaku. It's not even a secret at this point. Both of these idiots hotbox the shit out of the art class sometimes. It's a miracle that Tengen hasn't been fired nor has Karaku been suspended. They're just chill like that, ig. However, trust that Karaku has many admirerers. This mf got that rizz, and he uses it to his advantage, evil little shit.

Trust that Karaku does not have a preference. If he has his eye on anyone, then he will try and get with them. He knows he's attractive, so who's to say that he won't also steal yo gurl, but also you blud. Mf has no preference, nor does he lable himself. He's just that guy who will date anyone who catches his interest. However those relationships don't last long since he has terrible commitment issues(mfs longest relationship was six months before he got bored and broke up with the person he was with).

Like Sekido, Karaku also has a job. He models, which is why he's kinda popular. Karaku doesn't really pay attention to whatever brand he's modeling in, as long as he gets paid. Karaku isn't one to brag a lot, but if he's losing an argument, he will use the fact that he's a model and damage any self-confidence you have. He's a menace with insults, and even though he can fight, nobody ever does since they're too scared of what Sekido might do(Karaku knows this and is so smug about it, too).

AIZETSU KUROMIYA:

Third oldest(middle child). Aizetsu has very good grades. He rivals Sekido when it comes to academics, but if his A+ drops to an A-, he will break down sobbing(/hj). He's also a junior in high school. He takes his classes so seriously, like he will side eye anyone who's making any disturbances because this dude just wants to get this class over with. He hates that people disrespect teachers. It just gives him a major ICK. Just let people do their job, bro. Also, Giyuu favors Aizetsu a lot, hence why if Aizetsu misses a day of school, Giyuu doesn't make him do any extra laps and he also let's Aizetsu get away with stuff that he scolds most students for. Favoritism at its finest.

Like Karaku, Aizetsu isn't included in any school clubs because he doesn't find anything that the school offers interesting. The only club he actually enjoyed was the scrapbooking club before the school discontinued it. He sobbed when he found out, like he was so devasted. Aizetsu is fast, though, so sometimes he will find the courage to join track and field, but at the end of the day, he never fully commits to the sport. He just wants to go home and sleep.

When it comes to people, he's well known because of his brothers, and he hates it. Mainly because people only try to get close to him just so that they can get closer to either Sekido, Karaku, or Urogi. He wants friends, but they all leave him for his brothers. At this point, the only friends he has are Zohakuten and Kanroji. Don't even get me started on relationships. Aizetsu wants one, but he's too scared to try. He has low confidence in himself, so when he does find someone he's interested in, he purposely makes himself lose feelings because he just doesn't want to get hurt. GIVE MY BOY LOVE, DAWG.

If Aizetsu is good at anything, it's journalism. He literally runs the schools gossip account while doing his job as a news boy. It's very easy for Aizetsu to get the latest stories or news mainly because people barely notice him. He's just so damn quiet that people don't realize he's in the same room as them when they spill secrets or juicy gossip. Trust that Aizetsu has dirt on any and everyone. Nobody is safe from this boy because if he wanted to, he could blackmail anyone. He's too nice to do that, though.

UROGI KUROMIYA:

Fourth oldest(2nd middle child). His grades are absolutely terrible. He has the attention span of a five year old and gets so bored easily. It's amazing that he even managed to become a junior. C, D, and F average, he needs tutoring for the love of everything holy. Even though he's kinda stupid, he still manages to pass somewhat of his classes. Kanae favors Urogi because of the fact that he reminds her of a golden retriever. She's literally the reason why he's even passing half his classes in the first place. Trust that Kanae will get Sanemi to tutor him.

Urogi is the only one besides Sekido to actually participate in school clubs and sports. Urogi is in the skate club and art club. He also does basketball and football. Urogi is always pumped up, so of course he's gotta have things to do, plus he's always down to try out new things. Trust that this mf will find a way to keep busy(except when it's his 367 missing assignments). He's just hyper all the time.

Social is Urogi's middle name. This mf is an extrovert at heart. Obviously, Urogi is friends with a lot of people, even people he doesn't even know. He's just easy to be around. It's hard to hate him. Now, even though Urogi has many friends, he's never been in a relationship. Mainly because people can't handle his hyper active mind half the time. Which sucks because Urogi has a lot of love to give, and like Karaku, he doesn't care who it is. It's okay, though. He has commitment issues, so it's not like the relationship would last anyway. Though it doesn't hurt to dream.

Now, when it comes to a job, Urogi has had a hard time trying to get hired. However, he did earn a gig at some local arcade. All Urogi had to do was just make sure kids didn't end up braking the games or something. It's not anything special, but it does get Sekido off his ass about needing to get a job.

KYOJURO RENGOKU:

Kimetsu Academy history teacher. He is literally one of the best teachers ever. No joke, this man has the best lesson plans and has snacks in his classroom. Students absolutely adore him. Kyojuro will even stay after classes to help tutor students who are struggling. He sucks at math, though, but damnit, he will try his best to help you! He's not as strict or stern as Obanai and Sanemi, but he does hold you accountable if you're failing or getting into a fight. He cares about his students a whole bunch.

However, despite all that, his relationship with Senjuro is a bit iffy. He knows Senjuro doesn't hate him, but he can't help but notice how he's been getting into trouble lately! His sweet baby brother never used to be sent to the principal's office! Sure, Kyojuro doesn't mind that Senjuro is making friends, but he's just not sure about Senjuro being friends with Zohakuten, Rui, and Etsuko. He doesn't understand why his baby brother hangs out with such troublemakers!

Kyojuro doesn't seem to understand that Senjuro is growing up. He's no longer a baby. He still treats Senjuro like he's 10, not 14. It's like Kyojuro's refusing the fact that his little brother is growing up and no longer going to need him around as much. That's what's making their relationship, iffy. After all, Senjuro used to copy after Kyojuro, but now, it's like Senjuro doesn't even want to be in the same room as him! The thought hurts his heart! Even so, Kyojuro really can't blame Senjuro. He just wishes that his little brother would talk to him more.

Moving on, Kyojuro is a simple character, really. Sure, he spends most of his time at his best buddy's place, but that doesn't mean anything! He loves his father and Senjuro very much. It's just draining to be around a drunken man. Yet Kyojuro has strength. He can persevere. He knows he can. Hopefully, Senjuro will start talking to him more, though.

Kunio ( Collie ) : 4th grade ( The adopted daughter of Miyazaki & Isuke Imura. Was adopted when she was three years old, alongside her older adopted sister, Natsumi. Has been made fun of for being adopted, but her adoptive sister, Kiina, put a stop to it. Best friends with Kotetsu. )

Kiina : 4th Grade ( The biological daughter of Miyazaki & Isuke Imura, and the adoptive sister of Kunio & Natsumi. A star student with all A's. She's well liked by her classmates.

Natsumi ( Cameo ) : First Year - Autumn Leaves Class ( The adopted daughter of Miyazaki & Isuke Imura. Was adopted when she was 5 years old, alongside her younger adopted sister, Kunio. Seems to struggle with mathematics, but tries her hardest. Can't wait 'till Kunio & Kiina join her in the middle school, even if it's for a single year. )

Masako ( 15 ) : First Year - Kabosu Class ( The fostered child of the Uzui family. After child protective services determined that Masako was being neglected by her father, she was taken out of his custody and placed in many foster houses. Her final foster family was with the Uzui family, who plants to give her adoption papers on her 16th birthday. Friends with Genya Shinazugawa and part of the Volleyball Club. )

Makura ( 17 ) : Second Year - Sanshō Class ( Younger twin of the Shinazugawa Sisters. She has problems controlling her temper, much like her older brother, Sanemi Shinazugawa. She seems to be friendly with the class vice-president, Murata. Sanemi seems to think that she has a crush on the boy, which she adamantly denies. She has talked to Mukuro about the boy many times. Part of the tennis club. )

Mukuro ( 17 ) : Second Year - Persimmon Class ( Older Twin of the Shinazugawa Sisters. She is out of school often due to a weak immune system. She seems to have a small crush on the third year Kaigaku Inadama. Rather timid around her classmates, besides her sister. Part of the Handicrafts Club. )

Kokumi : Astrology Teacher ( often eats lunch with the History Teacher, Kyojuro Rengoku // Whenever he is gone, she is considerably less energetic and eats lunch with the PE Teacher, Giyuu Tomioka )

Kirumi : School Nurse / Detention ( Assists Tamayo in the winter months when most students get sick. Yushiro doesn't like her much, Kirumi suspects it's because Yushiro has a crush on Tamayo. Many students have seen a mysterious man enter the nurses office with a small bento box. He looked rather buff, much like a bodyguard. Some students have heard small intervals of what they presume to be his name, but none have never figured out what his name really is. )

Miyazaki ( Flower ) : School Canteen Staff ( Often talks about her daughters, Kiina, Kunio, and Natsumi, with Hinatsuru & Makio. Good friends with the ladies. Married to Isuke Imura. )

Isuke : School Janitor ( Quite protective of his daughters, Kiina, Kunio, and Natsumi. Makes small talk with the school store clerk, Suma whenever he cleans the area. Married to Miyazaki Imura )

Kurai : Also known as Weeping Woman. ( The woman can be spotted wandering through the halls after the school day ends. Often spotted by both Urokodaki & Isuke. Her appearance seems to change between legless & Whispy. )

Chihaya ( Cirice ) : Muzan's Subordinate. ( Not much is known about her, however she does seem to have been affiliated with the "Happiness Advisor" at some point, having been spotted with the man by Mukago. Mukago said that she was arguing with the man before she threw a punch at him. He just assumed he'd scammed her, but no one really knows. )

Sorry for the long wait, but here’s the next installment of the Demon Busters saga! This one is about our favorite Mist Hashira, Muichirou! For anyone who is new here or hasn’t seen the first part, in this modern kny au people have been dying to demon attacks at alarming rates and the Demon Busters (the updated and rebranded Demon Slayer Corps) need a way to get people to call them. In short, they run ad campaigns. Several characters will be getting these ad campaigns. The previous one was Tanjirou and this next one is Muichirou!

—Lore dump Incoming!!—

In this au, Muichirou and Yuichirou’s parents are victims of a demon attack, leaving the twins alone to fend for themselves. Somehow, they make do alone. But they aren’t completely alone, since Amane Ubayashiki comes around from time to time to see how they’re doing. Muichirou is comforted by her presence, but Yuichirou is just confused on how she got their address. Everytime she comes over, she tried to get them under the care of the Demon Busters. Muichirou thinks this is a great idea, since they’d be able to prevent others from losing their parents just like they did. But to Yuichirou, they seem like sketchy criminals. No matter how much he tried to convince him, Yuichirou’s stance wouldn’t budge. It was too dangerous, he’d say, and Muichirou was too weak to do anything so he’d just go out there to die anyway. The Mu in Muichirou meant that he was nothing after all. This disagreement caused a lot of tension between them, and as a result they drifted apart. Their days were filled with tense quiet, until one summer night. On that summer night they were attacked by a demon. The demon cut Yuichirous arm off as he tried to protect Muichirou. Naturally, Muichirou had to do something about this. So with whatever weapons he could find he was(somehow) able to fend off the demon. But the truth is he really doesn’t remember how. He honestly doesn’t remember much of what transpired during that night. He just barely remembers being carried off by Amane and the sound of sirens and red and blue lights. When he woke up he was at the Demon Busters HQ where he was being taken care of. From then on he swore he would train to get stronger, so that’s what he did. But there was still a large gap in his memory.

Muichirou is an interesting case as far as this au goes. He became a hashira in 2 months, the quickest anyone has become one. He’s a full time slayer, but he doesn’t drop out of school. He balances schoolwork, and Demon Busting, not very well since he’s constantly absent, but he does it. Like in canon, he adopts Yuichirou’s personality until he realizes himself, but his progress is accelerated when the flame hashira Rengoku introduces him to his little brother Senjuro. Him and Senjuro are the same age, and Mui needed someone that he could relate to and connect with. They go to the same school and though Senjuro has issues of his own (more on that in a later installment) they somehow connect with each other. Muichirou’s memory is horrible as he has trouble remembering general information about anything really, including himself. However hanging with Senjuro has allowed bits and pieces of his memory to come back, but not nearly enough for progress. It isn’t until Mui meets Tanjirou for the first time (slightly earlier in this au) that everything he supposed he knew about himself gets turned on its head. Muichirou also makes friends with Genya who is the major reason why he hasn’t dropped out of school yet to focus on demon slaying. Genya thinks an education is important, but compared to slaying demons he obviously has different priorities.

Muichirou thinks he’s completely alone and doesn’t have a family anymore, but as time goes on that doesn’t seem to be the case. He finds out about an “investigative force” that’s interested in the Demon Busters (the usual, their inner workings, how they run, etc), but more specifically in him. This is problematic for multiple reasons with the biggest one being that they’re just civilians. And if they’re Demon chasing trying to catch a Buster, a Hashira no less, then they could be in serious danger. But the names of one of these “investigators” sounds extremely familiar. Rumor has it they have the same last name, maybe even look alike. Initially this coincidence seemed unlikely, but the more he finds out about them, the more their reasons for tailing him become clearer, and it’s almost like he can just picture one of the investigators…he seems to remember them…and their name is at the tip of his tongue…

Oh and did I mention that Muichirou has a warrant out for his arrest?

Giyuu x Fem!Reader

There’s a mysterious girl that hangs around the outside of Kimetsu Academy. No one in the school knows her and her uniform doesn’t look familiar either. Shinazugawa for one thought the rumor was stupid. Who actually cared if this girl was real or not? Not like she ever came on campus. No one on the student council actually entertained the idea. It wasn’t important.

That was until Shinobu, Kanae and Shinazugawa saw the elusive girl. She was very pretty, idly scrolling on her phone and chewing gum. She noticed them standing there and removed her headphones, “Hi?”

“Hello,” Kanae smiled, “Do you need help?”

“No, I’m waiting for my friend. He takes a while.” The girl replied.

“I feel like I’ve seen you before, are you always here?”

“Yeah, almost everyday. We walk home together.” The conversation was cut short by an approaching Tomioka. The girl’s face lit up. “Giyuu! What took so long?”

“Sorry, I just finished cleaning.”

Shinobu not-so-subtly cleared her throat, “Tomioka, why haven’t you introduced us to your friend? We won’t bite.”

He turned to face you for aid but you simply nudged him back to face them. He could feel his social battery draining already. “This is (L/N)(Y/N), my girlfriend. (Y/N), this is President Kocho Kanae, her sister Kocho Shinobu and Vice President Shinazugawa.”

All of them stood shocked, especially you. You stammered, “W-When- W-What do you mean your girlfriend?!”

“Because we go on dates, and walk home together and I’m always at your hou-”

“Wha- okay!” You put your hands to his mouth. Face flushed and burning. How can he say things like this so casually?

You cleared your throat and wrapped your arm around his. “It was nice to meet you all, we need to get going. Goodbye.”

They watched you practically drag Giyuu away, he trailed behind you in your hastily planned exit from this awkward conversation.

Extra:

Uzui almost toppled over in laughter. “How could you let Tomioka get a girlfriend before you?!”

If Giyuu would look up from the cute photo you sent him he’d see Shinazugawa and Obanai glaring daggers into him.

Right from the very beginning, Tanjiro could tell something was wrong with you but he couldn’t place his finger on WHAT the problem actually was. The way you enter the class so gloomy and cry over your lunch in privacy

Who is hurting you?! … and what is their address?

Tanjiro doesn’t like to snoop, even on his crush. To him, it’s offensive and invasive but his concern for you elevates his morality. After a few days, he finally finds out the cause of your misery

Bullies… of course. Why didn’t he see it sooner? Your hidden bruises, the way you pull down your skirt. You have girls picking on you ruthlessly, and he couldn’t protect you from them

He was the worst. Such a idiot, why was he oblivious to your pain?! What kind of boyfriend would he make if he can’t even notice your distress

Tanjiro won’t accept that, girls find you annoying or ugly, in the slightest, his first priority is cheer you up then get those girls disciplined. Tanjiro immediately marches to you and pulls out of the room to talk with you alone

Your bawling breaks his heart into several crumb-sized pieces but he stays strong for you

“Hey! What is going on here?” A familiar yet angelic voice barks out firmly but politely from behind the backs of the typical popular girls that crowded you. It was like this everyday…

The girls would track you down, corner you, pull your hair, harass you, tell you to commit seppuku and berate your sense of self-worth. It has gotten so bad that you cried almost everyday and you never thought anybody would notice your wails for help but with the ways the girls snapped to face the voice, your sore puffy eyes lighten up, almost brighter than the sun as Tanjiro pouted firmly with his arms crossed

“Are you five bullying your junior? That is cruel and inhumane, you should know better! If have a problem! You should just talk about it!” Tanjiro pipes out, stepping closer without letting his eyes wonder off the group huddled over you. Despite his cute friendly face, gorgeous plum red eyes and sympathetic beautiful smile, Tanjiro always emitted this strange yet intimidating aura when he was angry and you could tell that he was angry

You could tell it was effecting the girls as a number of them shivered and cowardly tried to curl into themselves. Tanjiro would never raise a fist to a woman, rather they be cruel to another woman but he wasn’t above scaring them off. Once he had reached the miniature wave of people, his eyes gestured to the obvious black stump on the roof

The security cameras. Tanjiro must have had everything he seen himself be recorded, so he could have solid evidence

The group of over-blinged monstrous seniors rushed off, the blonde leader pulling at their wrists with a angry scowl, she devoted that ‘this was not over’. Once they had waddled away with their tails inbetween their legs, you felt your weakened knees collapse and Tanjiro reacted and acted much faster than you could process what happened and caught you before you could thump onto your knees

“Dokusha. Are you okay? Are you hurt? How long has this been happening? Why didn’t you tell me anything! I could have protected you sooner! Taken you to class every single day until they face punishment” Tanjiro let his heavy concern bleed out of him like a rapidly spilling wound, finally releasing from his tightening heart from it’s shackles as his arms continued to support you and lift you to your weak feet. Not even faltering one bit, Tanjiro kept gazing into your eyes with a soft smile

Those… gorgeous, sympathetic plum reds made you feel warm, fuzzy and glowing. As if all the hate and negativity over those girls’ harsh words were being vacuum-sucked out of your systems. You weren’t alone anymore, Tanjiro is here now and he knows everything but he only wished he knew sooner

He had failed you but no more, he refuses to fail you again

“Let it out, Dokusha… I promise, those girls won’t pick on you again. I will always be with you” Tanjiro gently spoke, treating your emotions as if they were as fragile as glass as he crouched down to pick you off your feet to better hold you in a defensive manner. You would have blown up in hot red blush and hysterically stutter at your longtime crush basically carrying you like a groom does to his bride but you were too upset to realise it, sobbing deeply and covering your face with your dainty, bruised palms

Tanjiro couldn’t standing have to hear your crying, each tear shed and sharp breath felt as if a knife was repetitively shanking his heart and it made him cringe at imaginary pain. You didn’t deserve to be in this much pain, you’re amazing. Why can’t those girls see that? See what he sees in you? You’re so sweet, so kind, so welcoming, so talented, so….
